1321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why I dont worry too much about using closed source wallet on: January 06, 2023, 03:38:27 PM

People quickly would report that their funds would dissapear and you would have enough time to transfer your funds to other wallet with your seed.

1 company cant empty 10 million wallets so fast.

Not all users is checking there wallet most of the time because many newbie just leave there crypto on there wallet as savings and just check it occasionally. Those people doesn’t have time to react in case the wallet become scam. Lucky for you because you might have a lot of time to check but the majority of crypto user is using crypto as savings and not for daily transactions.

Why people need to worry about this company can turn scam eventually while there’s a lot of open source wallet available that will give a peace of mind to there savings?
1322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM rollbit $737.00 on: January 05, 2023, 02:30:32 PM
I went through verification first through the phone, then they asked for a selfie with the inscription "For Rollbit". I did everything and sent. Then they write that they take my money, you have other accounts. I only have one account here.

Why the need of ID verification if they knew that this user is involved on multiple account violation. When OP provide different ID, they still insist a multi account accusation despite there ID is obviously different since the support is still using the IP connection and not the similarity on KYC documents as reason for OP lying. Even if the OP provides same ID to other account or not the decision is still the same though.

You probably the real owner of the other permanent ban account if you are not using VPN in your defense. You are just admitting to the crime since no one can access rollbit website using same IP to you except to person who’s connected to your internet. Permaban account means you’ve done something wrong so I’m sure rollbit will not gonna let you withdraw if you are connected on account like this.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does GPU used on mining is still good? on: January 05, 2023, 02:13:18 PM
I have a friend that selling his GPU that use on mining for a year. He is selling his GPU for only 30% of the original price. I'm planning to use to upgrade the GPU of ny desktop that I used for gaming and watching on Netflix.

I'm just concerned that GPU work under mining stress is very prone to early break. Any feedback from second buyer or miner that convert there mining gpu to typical gaming gpu?

If you would have been reading the sticky topic in this board you would have been seen that you cannot mine bitcoin with GPU.
This being said, your question belongs to altcoins mining.

I knew this. I don’t trust most of the reply on altcoin board that makes me create the topic here to ask Bitcoin miner. Not all Bitcoin miner is mining only Bitcoin so I’m using this as chance to ask Bitcoin miner that has knowledge on GPU mining to ask for an advice. I’m planning to risk money so I want to have an opinion coming from trusted user. My question is not directly about altcoin mining so I believe this topic still fits here because I’m asking opinion from Bitcoin miner that has GPU mining experience.

In January 2022, video cards were very expensive and the actual prices in stores were 100-200% more expensive than MSRP. It’s hard to overheat a video card in 1 year, but if you don’t know how to check a video card after mining, then it’s better to buy a video card with a guarantee a little more expensive. Look at other offers on the market and the prices of new video cards, or better write which video card you buy and its price.

Thank you for the kind reply.

Asus Ko RTX3070 purchased last year and price is 304$. The GPU is never been repair or open since I knew who’s selling it. I just don’t have any idea on the durability of GPU since this is my first time to change my desktop GPU for an upgrade.

1325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: January 04, 2023, 02:43:58 PM
loyalty programs for some Users are always welcome for the most loyal casino players, and this is a way to reward them for always being there, I think the rewards that some casinos can give will always be very evident and will encourage many players to be more fans of those casinos, I think that a casino always has the power to have and attract more customers, and for now what is seen the most is all this type of thing after the pandemic.

Some minor correction, Loyalty program doesn’t reward gamblers for being on the casino but rather it returns a portion of the bets made of the players in terms of rakeback or cashback. You can’t get huge loyalty reward by just playing small there even for a long time so the duration of playing in the casino is not the key factor on determining loyalty reward but the amount of bets wagered on the casino.

A whale player betting on a casino can get more loyalty reward to small time player even whale players start playing one year late or more on the same casino. Loyalty term is just a sugar coat word of the casino.
1326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | Live tables |SLOTS| Baccarat | InstantWithraw| v3.0 Launched! | on: January 04, 2023, 09:34:26 AM
Ser, you cannot be more inaccurate in your post. Gambling companies are centralized entities that are regulated by another centralized governing entity. That itself makes it very impossible for a gambling company to be permissionless UNLESS it was built and implemented directly to use the Bitcoin blockchain, like DirectBet. But if you're demanding for BlackJack.Fun to be "permissionless", no, that can't be possible.

Yeah. Even instant withdrawal feature of casino still needs approval by the admin and some companies is just using a bot to automatically approved withdrawal with just some parameters like max/min withdrawal. But all this withdrawal will still undergo first to the casino admin before it will go out to the casino since casino balance is not on-chain and they are just using hot wallet balance to payout customer withdrawal.

Even  games web3 still not permission less. I agree that directbet is the best example here for the real permission less game because it automatically payout on the sender address once the bet wins.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 01:37:28 PM
Sportsbet, Duelbits & Stake are the sportsbook that I know that has no issue proven issue for not paying there customers even with huge amount. Your bet size is huge which might exceeds some betting limit of bookmaker on there odds given but the casino that I mention are the top tier casino in terms of sportsbook.

You can try Megapari too if you want new sportsbook with good bonus offer for there players. This casino has a current nomination for prestigious award which makes them reputable.
1328  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🗝 PvKeys.com | BTC & ETH Private Key Balance Finder on: January 02, 2023, 08:42:04 AM
and collect all the private keys with balance, that would be a nice feature.
Collect ? Or steal ? Imo, posting keys of any btc address with a balance is pure stealing(scamming someone) for me. However, Im sure @OP hasnt got any.

Agreed. This is not gambling at all because this service is offering a hacking service to steal balance on somebody wallet. This kind of game assuming this will become successful will create negativity in Bitcoin since leaving your balance on your wallet address is not safe.

Good thing that hacking a certain private key is almost impossible to occur. This is a illegal gambling imho because the user are committing a crime by using such service.
1329  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Exmon - Multifunctional cryptocurrency platform on: December 31, 2022, 05:34:10 PM
Do you support local currency PHP in your website? And how can we check the list of accepted payment method specifically for user residing in Philippines? Can you provide the list here so that we can view without registering the account to see the overview of exchange.

I want to clarify the earn feature, Is the money that I will received let’s say for 50USDT card will came from the user that I invite balance? It’s very hard to understand the mechanics because it looks like a typical referral program but there’s a payment involved that confused me.
1330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Auction - Bid on a prize where 98% of each bid is added to the prize. on: December 31, 2022, 03:29:49 PM
The bids reset the deadline for the auction to be 144 blocks after the bid is received. Therefore there cannot be any sniping.

I just browse your website after reading your OP. The website is lack of clear explanation about the mechanics for this kind of auction game. The minimum bid increments should be determined to know what’s a valid bid or not. Also this additional rule on sniping is very important because this an auction.

I find the extra 144 blocks again as additional block each bid is too long. So an intense battle of bids will take this game forever. Why not set a target block number for the auction date and just set a smart contract that adds few blocks when bid is made 1 to 10 blocks before the deadline.
1331  Economy / Gambling / Re: SVIP9 BC.game any value? on: December 31, 2022, 02:27:23 PM
Just wondering if my account has any value

Daily wheel gives a 2 minimum
 $1000 locked bcd
always a few hundred here and there giveaway
20% cash back
even hitting coco gives me just under $2 every time
a bot would realistically collect you about $7.50 a day

Just wondering.
Thank you

I think there is hardly anyone who wants to buy an account with KYC passed, although you have not indicated whether you really passed it, it can simply cause the new owner to be blocked and this risk can only be justified by the low price of the account.

A higher VIP level means he already exceeds the allowable balance for non KYC user. The account is surely already undergo KYC in the past before when he reach the higher tier level. Other concerns on this kind of account was the benefits usually being removed when the account doesn’t play anymore with its normal wager volume when he reach that VIP level.

Casino will obviously freeze or block the account as per terms if they feel that the user is not profitable for them casino is not a charity while this kind of passive daily bonus will surely noticed by the casino security team. Buying a casino account is very risky.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Now Be Bought Using Apple pay and Google pay On Binance on: December 31, 2022, 01:24:42 PM
I hope google and apple can launch there own apps that user can buy bitcoin by just connecting there pay app without the need of creating account like shapeshift.io before. Using CEX is pain in the ass due to the transaction fee when withdrawing the balance from CEX to wallet.

Some of mobile fiat wallet here in our country already introducing new feature that can buy crypto directly inside the wallet. This is much better than purchasing on CEX using 3rd party wallet provider. It’s too much centralization.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 1 bitcoin? on: December 31, 2022, 08:15:23 AM
I hold under 1 BTC at this time.

I have a lot of mining gear worth more than 1 BTC at this time.

Very cool. How much profit you are generating in Bitcoin per month using your mining rig? I have the money before too that I planned to purchasing mining rig but the electricity cost here is not profitable for this kind of business. So I decided to just trade to increase my Bitcoin holding which didn’t go as planned. I’m wondering if I will be in profit if I just allocate my money on mining rig instead of the risky trade.

How long do you get ROI?
1334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Newbies] Scam coins and scam exchanges with wash tradings. Avoid them! on: December 30, 2022, 06:04:34 PM
I am not attacking Huobi exchange personally but for me (at least for me), if I am trading on Huobi with my account, I would definitely stop it and abandon my account as well as that exchange. After this terrible scam and the pump, dump, wash trade on Huobi, I find no other reason to use this one.
I think everyone is shock since Huobi is considered as one of the top exchange due to its volume but offering an IOU for this questionable token without owner permission is really shady. The price doesn’t stop pumping despite all warnings for this token being not the real Pi network. Huobi and other exchange that coordinated this listing is injecting too much funds to pump the price and later on dump once retail Fomo buy. I believe there’s still few retail buyers purchasing this token which is why the price keeps surging as part of there wash trading.

I bet the price dump to 0.000000x$ will happened for a quick time once this exchange take profit.

Does Pi network actually have a blockchain network?  Roll Eyes

They are claiming that they are close mainnet to cover their fancy blockchain. This project exist for many years yet they don’t have any clear achievement aside from wasting energy from the mobile cpu mining scheme.  Cheesy
1335  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Newbies] Scam coins and scam exchanges with wash tradings. Avoid them! on: December 30, 2022, 03:52:56 PM
Exchange is using the popularity of this scam coin to scam there user legally by providing IOU tokens to hype the current Pi token that is not tradeable. I’m sure thise user that buying this IOU tokens are those users that holding the real Pi and just hype to buy more on exchange along with the wash trading given by XT and Huobi that obviously coordinates this pump and dump scheme.

It's only funny that even the Pi network team doesn't have any idea on what’s really happening. Huobi is just using a scam token to milk on the money from those greedy traders that believes on his scam project.  Cheesy
1336  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for $1000 loan with $1800 in collateral on: December 30, 2022, 03:08:45 PM
Is transferring of ownership on lock funds on smart contract is possible? Afaik the only way to transfer ownership is to give the wallet keys alone since you can’t change the wallet address for the funds stake on smart contract.

This is too risky for the lender side and the only accepted collateral here are tokens with huge trading volume for a less volatility on price.

The tokens are locked with time not ownership, the tokens vest daily and the potential lender can see that onchain. The `transferOwnership()` is accessible with my wallet and I am willing to transfer the ownership to a reputable lender as collateral.

It is a smaller cap token but with a 2+ year operating history backed by a well funded company (2017 ICO company).

How can you guaranteed that once you transfer ownership to the new owner that you will lost access already on it. Not all lenders has the capability to understand how smart contract works so you should explain it well in layman terms.

I really doubt that someone will accept your deal due to the complexity of your collateral. GL
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 30, 2022, 03:04:18 PM
Having third party features that can be integrated onto casinos that can grant gamblers additional security when it comes to fighting addiction and wrekless behavior would be an amazing idea. It is also something that can work out in terms of business model.

Applying this in online casino is very hard to implement because there's a lot ways to bypass restrictions of the casino since KYC is not mandatory upon registration. This kind of services to control addiction will only work if the casino done KYC to all the players account including the new registered account so that they can verify whether the player has an existing restrictions or not.

Probably this 3rd party services will just rely on IP to determine users but it can easily bypass by creating new account and using VPN.

Your account last post was 2014. Don’t waste your time here or else provide valid collateral.
1339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: December 29, 2022, 04:57:43 PM
I usually base my capital allocated on trading to the fiat value and not through percentage. I have a limit of maximum 100$ capital per coin that I want to invest. The percentage varies base on my overall capital but I have a fixed amount of 100$ per trade on each altcoin. Only Bitcoin can get the majority of my capital since that's the only coin I trust with huge capital.

I believe most people here look on the fiat amount and not solely on percentage for capital allocation on there trade.
1340  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Macaw Casino SCAM on: December 29, 2022, 01:49:38 PM

This player was banned from our website for multiple attempts of fraud. He was also banned from our discord due to threatening and abusive messages.

Do you mind share additional information or proof?

Macaws withdrawals are done instantly, directly from the casino via the lightning network. There is no need to wait for manual approval, you can do it as soon as you win. This user tried to manipulate the html of the website to make it seem that he had more funds than he did and convince our support team that he needed the transactions processed manually.  He also tried to claim some wins of other players accounts as his own.

Hmmm. His screenshot contains unique transaction ID that only means he is actually winning on your casino. How come he can manipulate this info by just changing the html? Also why you block the account instead of providing proof that his account doesn't contain any real balance? Blocking it only show that you are dodging responsibility for paying his winnings.

Since the OP has proof of his balance as well as his betting history. His case is very strong against your casino since you delete all the evidence that will support your claim.
