1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: November 23, 2019, 08:23:49 AM
Why not combine and have a crypto investment in real estate. I really wish these ICO projects got their heads out of the sky and someone actually did back a token up by real estate and the tokens are like having ownership in the real estate. It has been 10 years since bitcoin has been out and people are not really using the technology. Rather being selfish. I still cannot understand why there are so few projects.
There are crypto investments related in rel estates like antlant, primalbase, hives and etc there might not seem to be that popular as the investment amount to be able to invest is way to high but in there ICO days they are all successful. It's good to diviesify investment in crypto and real estates as long as we have capital to invest with.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 08:47:26 AM
If i have a wish to fulfill i want the price of bitcoin to go down by Christmas so that i can invest further before the halving, i am also a holder but i will get my Christmas bonus by that time and i wish the price would go down by that time to invest, all these plans are in accordance with the pretext that the price of bitcoin might rally in a couple of years.
[/quote]
I wish our 13th month will be given differently from bonus, so I can invest my bonus in BTC before the price start to arise again, since my 13th month will be used these holiday season. If will not be granted I will just wish a good trading timing to be able to buy and hold btc more before halving.
1704  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 sentence or Less- Post your Fundamental Analysis of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 03:16:28 PM
It's an investment that we can keep waiting as long as adoption did not happening yet, it's wide range of uses and possible benefits in many different sectors like in business, financial services and as an investment can give hope to those who battling financially. If it's use right and with proper knowledge of holding or trading it.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 02:17:54 PM
For some investors there is no other way out now, except for HODL, especially for those who entered the market at the beginning of 2018. About your situation, you need to study each project, their roadmap and upcoming events, maybe there is no sense in holding some coins.
We don't need to expect too high returns in some projects, since somewill not going to last.like some of those listed with OP, some were no longer put updates and determined scam. I understand that holding is all that we can do when we're already late to stop our loss since who knows the cycle will happen again like how 2017 pump did.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 12:42:38 PM
For me, everything will depend on potential opportunities. Gambling in my life is just entertainment, I'm not too excited. I can refuse it even without conditions affecting my reputation.
Therefore, for me the answer to this question is quite simple: if refusal from gambling is necessary for reasonable reasons, I will do it.
However, people are more adventurous, this issue may not be easy, because addictions of this kind always subject us to temptation. It’s hard not to break.
I know politician at first will stop gambling during campaigns but will definitely get back once they won. It's fine to those rich politicians who you know didnt get the money of their governance, I think it will still depend on what our living status is, some will really be affected but there are gambling addicts who are able to still give, donate and do charitable services. For me, I can stop gambling if I really want to win.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there such things as Crypto-currency heists? on: November 19, 2019, 12:40:48 PM
I'm a fan of Netflix money heist series, they're just too smart too execute their plans. I think its all applicable anywhere in any currency as long as they planned something  bad. Those who posted in social media of their wealth and crypto portfolio probably got a higher risk of being victim especially if they include their where abouts that can give criminals more reason to get robbed.
1708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here’s Why Bitcoin Just Dropped Nearly 4% on: November 19, 2019, 11:39:28 AM
Bitcoin is realy volatile no matter , how people do everything to manipulate, the coin is not going to be easy , the price really is just like other type of coins but bitcoin ofcourse is special but since , there are some news coming like bad and good, the price down and up is just normal, so we dont have to panic on the price that bitcoin is showing us in the past few months, its going to be better in 2020 mim sure
It's normal that the prices fall, it can be considered as correction as we experienced a bit of increase this past months. I don't think that there is something to do with the Google as bitcoin is always been volatile, dump and pump happens due to manipulators andbecause of countries adoption not merely on updates of other apps as they are different in focus.
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: November 19, 2019, 09:39:19 AM
Moving the popular games into blockchain might have several issues. But we could easily build and implement new blockchain based online multiplayer games. It would have several benefits to the traditional gaming but also need to find a way to counter some problems that are constantly being faced by online gamblings like unofficial modding and manipulation.
The subject includes almost all popular online gaming, this may take a lot of time before they can eventually accept crypto as they all already doing well without it, it may open deeper problems at first but will sure be solved after while. No doubt one of this days we can see them accepting crypto but the question will be the players are willing to switch in crypto or not knowing that some gambling sites have been into many issues, will the online gaming community will get a support in the platform they will be operating with.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: November 19, 2019, 07:29:53 AM
Well, I start in crypto doing bounty and from that I became a small time investor and trader at the same time, though, I am not using bounty as my main income it helped a lot especially that it helped me build my finances and regarding investing and trading it just gave me a hard time since I started it when the market started to fall down. So basically, crypto can be a full time source of income if you got a lot of money to invest and to start with.
Since trading can be helpful as daily activity but definitely need a capital to do it daily as crypto bounties and airdrops are no longer profitable these days so starting with our own capital should be use to start well as well the proper study of the project since if will just wait for token rewards from bounties it may take months to appear in our wallets.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you close your Bank account, when your Bank turn against Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 06:57:20 PM
It's been a while since I don't use bank, though I have banks for cashing out that can also be done thru remittance centers but will be much better in banks for smoother process. I think using bank accounts will depend on the countries we live in as in my country I am able to pay bills thru crypto application, buy Internet loads and transfer money to someone I know that which is bank or mobile banking can do. The only difference for me now is banks can be used in any stores to pay, crypto still limited in adoption.
1712  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Have You Paid Tax On Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 02:26:36 PM
In our country the government has not to ask taxes on bitcoin yet, as of now, they're just working to promote the use of digital money. so far, the result was good. since they worked on this promotion, from day 1, the rate has increased to more than 10%. Although this is looking good, I'm afraid that if they see that the rate has further increased after a few years from now, they will finally pass a law that will make you pay your taxes when using bitcoin or any other Altcoins.
Sooner when the government see how people adopts they might imply it when they néed additional sources of funds to use in politics, it will be a good chance to use crypto or buy since there no tax that will lessen our savings. Maybe those stores were accepting crypto in exchange of their stuffs in stores already have tax value which seems the same in paying tax.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: November 17, 2019, 01:34:37 PM
There's also some differences - this time we had a bulll run nearly one year before the halvening, when the price went from $3,500 to $14,000 in a couple of months. This shows that the market players strongly anticipate the halvening and it's already getting priced in. Though judging by how stagnant and slightly bearish the market has become, it looks like there's also a lot of potential for bullishness caused by the halvening.

Also, in 2016 we went from 25 BTC per block to 12.5, and now we'll go from 12.5 to 6.25 - while the relative change is the same (two times), the absolute change is smaller, so the effect of supply reduction will also be smaller. Maybe the next bull cycle won't be as big as the previous one.

I also see it as a big difference since before on 2016 the ATH didn't happen yet many are still holding on to their bitcoin and didn't sells it yet, but in year 2017 the market became in bull run so the tendency is some holders already sell their BTC. If the 4 year difference of 2016 - 2020 will be able to get new investors. Or will see if 2021 will be like 2017.
1714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin cannot be banned on: November 16, 2019, 05:09:37 PM

That's the source: https://cryptonews.com/guides/countries-in-which-bitcoin-is-banned-or-legal.htm

I'm really surprised about Vietnam though.
While Malaysia, Singapore. Japan or other near Asian countries even Philippines doesn't have say on banning or putting restrictions but more plans in adaption for blockchain and crypto easy transaction, its sad that they are not still open for adoption as they don't want to accept any payment thru bitcoin but there are no news whether exchanges and other activities are allowed. If so lucky are those Vietnams who still mine, trades as once it's allowed they already saved allot. .
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 16, 2019, 02:29:33 PM
Let's be real, we all hope to win that's why we still try. I hope to win or more of while I'm trying my luck I hope deep inside that I'm really gonna win be it on dice, poker or tong-it's. Though I don't know my earnings doing gambling but mostly I'm in lose. When I'm in lose I just think of it as a payment for fun.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 08:36:34 AM
Well, as for me, I will always choose to gamble with crypto especially when I'm using any crypto gambling platform. First, it's compatible to use crypto in online gambling. Next, my gains could be profitable when the market situation gets better. Also, there are lots of potential altcoins which are good for gambling and hold it later on when we reach our target goal.
Transactions transferring fiat in online gambling were too risky as we need to connect some our bank accounts or paypal and those who accepted this method may not be legit same with using cash in physical casinos as it dangerous to hold cash, so I'll choose crypto too. Less risk as it's easy to deposit crypto depending on what alt which preferred that can cause us for small transaction fees.
1717  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are people of today hates learning? on: November 15, 2019, 06:08:10 PM
I don't believe that they hate learning. They are just not interested with what we're offering to them. Because if you really want something, you'll work hard for it. Why they lack interest is because they lack idea on what is crypto and bitcoin and how it can help us. I know people who are willing to learn bitcoin... I think it's just the matter of introduction. If you know how to catch their interest then dood for you

They might just fear changed or the risk crypto offers, some are too Conservative in investing they prefer to save in banks and preserve their capitals than lose some and wait for the volatility market, some may get jealous or envy on others achievement but they don't have the ability to overcome what they fear, maybe they think that they are contented in their lives now that's why.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALERT: Phishing Brave browser [Please Read] on: November 15, 2019, 04:29:48 PM
Guys, please be aware that this phishing campaign seems very persistent that they would employ different addresses for sending email and different tricks like rephrasing the message or alter it to look it different from previous emails sent but the truth is they all lead to one phishing site.

For additional information and illustration about this phishing scheme kindly check this related thread: [Warning] Fake Brave Bounty Program Giving 1,500 BAT Tokens to each participant!
It's been many times that I see users uploading a lot of post, pictures of emails that keeps promoting reinstalling/update their software to get Bat not just Bat but 1500 bat, who on earth will do giveaways just like that, if we're too greedy to get free rewardsbthen probably we're already scammed on it now. I always remind myself that crypto is too risky same with getting emails without you knowing how they get my email. Brave browser should create their official announcements for this emails that keep spamming that they are not related to it.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Working in gambling industry - Bojoko.com article on: November 15, 2019, 02:57:49 PM
A friend of mine works as a dealer in a casino and it seems that he enjoys his job regardless of the working hour. He said that you'll get to see different people in the casino and the pay is satisfying, not to mention the tip you get daily from different players.
It will be based on guests/players character some rich are too arrogant that thinks the casino's employees are their slave, while others really kind to give tip. Maybe they've been winning that time. I wonder if how many people works in an gambling site that able to provide good service and support. It is less budget for operating costs than in real casino.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 14, 2019, 10:00:23 PM
I think that if a system is built on a blockchain that is truly decentralized and there are no methods to implement data from the outside whose reliability cannot be determined, then such a system can be trusted. If this is a casino, then it can be considered honest. You can trust Bitcoin; it is truly decentralized.

Just only be careful in those services that are saying they are accepting bitcoin, not all casino that are accepting BTC have good reputation, some since they know BTC is popular uses it for their benefits to scam people. BTC is trustable but the projects and some services are not so be very careful in everyway we're using crypto or btc may it be for paying bills,as investement,in exchanges, wallets and for casino.
