1341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another Scammer!!! on: March 20, 2022, 11:59:13 PM
I have received more than 5 scammers text..
It's very common in all social media, like Telegram that considering a house of scammers, IMO.

Does the text that you received has from your mobile phone?
I think your mobile number has been exposed, you need to replace it or otherwise ignore those messages that you've received.
The same on my side, I also receive messages on my email address, on my mobile number, and even on my Telegram, if that's not business-related I won't reply.

It's all about greed that's why many people fall into this kind of trap, we should have extra diligence when it comes to financial matters.  Don't trust stranger people on the internet offering a big profit that needs to invest.
1342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 20, 2022, 11:39:20 PM
Your technical aspect is good but I suggest you don't focus too much on it, you can try also to understand the fundamental aspect and how we combined these two analysis into a better result.  There are circumstances in that FA was more accurate than the TA, you should also look at that matter for your trading activity.

Trading skills, the best result is to have a frequent experience which in every trading experience you can learn on it and avoid those mistakes that will not happen in the future.  I hate people who say, training is very easy to make a profit from, they seems misleading newbies with that information they heard.  Trading need to spend your precious time just to learn and also extend your patient.
1343  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: - Blockchain.com - Reward account blocked and crypto staking gone on: March 19, 2022, 11:53:26 PM
I remember before one of my friends told me that there's XLM free reward when you go through KYC, if I'm not wrong that was $25 worth right?

I have had an account on this web wallet too before but last few years when the changed SSL from Blockchain.info to Blockchain.com it seems they become buggy at this time.  Most newbie Blockchain wallet is their first wallet just like me before and I think this is just a bug, you can try to use another device to log in to your wallet it might be there or try to look at the transaction history.

Make sure you followed them well it could be it was discrediting the reward if they found something wrong, contacting support here is nonsense because they don't usually respond, if they will, you're very lucky.
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin VS Oil VS Russia VS Ukraine on: March 18, 2022, 11:59:34 PM
Are the government going to also sanction exchanges and wallet owners?
If you're using a non-custodial wallet, there's nothing to worried about.  No one can compensate your wallet and no one can access it except you.
There's nothing the government does on the decentralized currency most especially Bitcoin, it might have a slight effect on the Bitcoin price but as per see, it was a good effect because as we saw Bitcoin price increased despite a war.  Even Rusia and Ukraine used Bitcoin as their alternative currency.

It's not right to compare Bitcoin to stocks like Oil, Bitcoin is digital while those you mentioned above it's totally different.

1345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any mods reads emails sent about hacked accounts? on: March 18, 2022, 11:50:16 PM
Thx for the quick reply, my fault. I found answer from Bitcointalk. Thank you! I'll proceed as instructed.
It's on the sticky posts on the meta section and it's here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0.

If your account was hacked

Email recoveries...@bitcointalk.org, ideally from the account's email address. Include your username and a brief description of the details of how/when the account was hacked. A signature will likely be required (see below).

Be ready with your proof, it should be a signed message from your old Bitcoin address that was quoted from other users or from the spreadsheet of any signature or bounty campaign that you've joined before.

Tell us which account that have been hacked, it's easy to recover and the hacker can't use it if we put temporarily a negative tag while the account was on the scammer's hand.

1347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading scheme for futures trade less but earn more on: March 18, 2022, 10:59:26 PM
It works you do 2-3 times trading weekly.
Your start capital can be  100$
You take 5-6 positions.
Each position 10$  leverage 20x-40x
Stop loss 50-70%
You choose mostly low cap coins bigger volatility.
One coin can do price swing 10-20% easy
So with 10$ each coin 10%x 40x=400%
So 30$-100$ so total you make 200$-300$ easy one day.

If market bad do this only  2 days a week and you could earn probably 400$-600$ weekly when its a bad market.

With good market 800$-1000$+ weekly.
2000$-5000$ monthly easy.

When you short entry as top possible when you long get from down as possible.

Easy?
I think that's not as easy as what you've said, maybe it's easy to say but it's hard when you're in trading.
Trading isn't as easy as you think especially a high leverage trade, high leverage means a high risk that could be in a single snap, 50% of your capital has been gone.

But I tend to agree that you must have a stop-loss position, but it doesn't you're safe and you didn't lose.

You choose mostly low cap coins bigger volatility.
Can you point them out?  It seems you're talking about the pump and dump coin.  Choosing a good altcoin isn't easy as of now.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NFTs be available on Instagram soon? on: March 16, 2022, 11:59:25 PM
That's good news since these social media that are owned by Zuckerberg have good traffic was good to spread the NFTs projects which are people and also easy to spread the digital art.  This was already attempted to launch in 2019 but it was not that successful they are, this was the second attempt at Meta to push metaverse development related.

We hope that there's a good development these two big companies regarding this announcement since they had the same owner who looks forward to these NFTs continuing spreading on their platform.
1349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Strict Rules and system. on: March 16, 2022, 11:39:00 PM
I don't get the question either, it's better to wait for the OP to respond regarding these queries.

I assumed that it's using the Bitcointalk forum as the case of study regarding the real-life matter.
Reading here might sharpen your mind towards different aspects like different discussions related to cryptocurrencies.  The same the real-life we also have restrictions and rules here that you should always be avoided and reading that link that I provided would be preferable to those newbies like you OP.

This is only my conclusion IMO, rephrasing your question would be also good to give you the right answer.
1350  Economy / Speculation / Re: How these events will affect crypto market? on: March 15, 2022, 11:59:04 PM
You need to exercise extreme caution when trading the news, the few that are successful doing this still use TA heavily in their strategy and it is not difficult to understand why, even if you could tell accurately whether a news will affect the market and the direction the market will take, you have no way to know the magnitude and the duration of such movement, in order to get an idea of that you need TA, which explains why many traders that use TA do not bother with the news, as the price sooner or later will reflect the effects of those news on the markets anyway.
That's why it's very important to have a fundamental analysis (FA) while making your technical analysis (TA).  FA is a very important factor that could possibly have an effect on the market price.  Like what happened to this event now, the war between Russia and Ukraine was shaking the price of Bitcoin, you can't draw a conclusion for sure if you only have TA.

But sometimes, it's an unpredictable movement of Bitcoin even there's a world event it doesn't hurt too much the price.  For example the same as when the pandemic hit, it was affected by the start but after a week it was resisted and increased the price back.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: March 15, 2022, 11:50:33 PM
Yesterday I saw on the speculation altcoin board Why is Ethereum fees going down in this days?, he said obviously the ethereum fee is down, I wasn't there to review the situation but according to yesterday's data to today increased almost 2x. The increase today is due to the dense network, as usual when the gas went down yesterday there will be a lot of transactions too.
You quoted a wrong thread but anyway it seems this topic was on the altcoins speculation board.

Yesterday I was able to transfer my token on an exchange that I patiently wait for when the gas fee will be low and I can able to transfer it with a $4 dollar balance which is before you can't.  The gas fee of Ethereum or any altcoins seems like the price, it's also fluctuating due to the market congestion.
So there's no way to guess when it will increase the gas or decrease.

Just check it always here to monitor the gas fee, https://etherscan.io/gastracker.
1352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where to spend my bitcoins in new york city? on: March 15, 2022, 11:22:09 PM
I chose to ask here because some places on the coinmap seemed quite outdated.

My idea is to have some more accurate indications.
I found this article and have a list of stores that accept Bitcoin in New York City.

I also heard that Starbucks also accepting Bitcoin in NYC and I think you can go there and ask them about Bitcoin acceptance as payment.
Bitcoin is a well know cryptocurrency that can alternate fiat currency as a mode of payment and for sure you will hardly find stores that accept Bitcoin in NYC.
1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exposing the Investment Scam - opictrader.com - Opic Trader Scam on: March 15, 2022, 10:59:16 PM
Old techniques of a scam they used but yet until now it's effective because there are still greedy and innocent people who fall on this kind of trap.
High yield, also means high-risk investment, and possibly it includes possible scams.

I didn't finish the video and at the first glance it was surely a scam and we don't know that platform either so why w would use that scam investment site.

Make a thread on the scam accusation board including this video and find more documents that support this video as scam evidence against them, it also warns people here.
1354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand or know the whale's next move? on: March 15, 2022, 02:43:20 PM
We don't know who are those whales or those big players in the market and for their privacy, no one knows them even how to determine that they're whales.  That's impossible to know who are they but easy to determine or to guess the whale's movement through the Bitcoin public ledger which all big transactions on the Blockchain network it always suspected as them, either individual or big constitutions.

Just head's up to this Twitter group, @whale_alert collecting big transactions and there could be a whale per big transactions.
1355  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Multiple Electrum Wallets? on: March 15, 2022, 02:19:46 PM
But if you want privacy and do not want these two electrum wallets linked together, wouldn't you need to create a new electrum seed wallet for this?
IMO, once you created a new wallet on the same Electrum desktop app on your PC, it will create a new one with a new seed and a new password and I don't think they will link to each other.  It will never be linked if they don't have transactions to each other which er know that the address linked they had previous transactions.

You can create a bitcoin wallet address as many as you can, you don't need to install Electrum or download it into your PC twice.
And I assumed that you already know how to create a new Bitcoin wallet address on Electrum and of course, for the privacy that you want.
1356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 14, 2022, 11:59:17 PM
After long time of suspension of BTC price between 32k to 40k is we think it's bounce backed to 60k this year?
It's too early to celebrate, it's not yet confirmed that Bitcoin will bounce back at that price since it's unpredictable.
Maybe we just have a price resistance that after Bitcoin correction it was expected that Bitcoin price will resist and it could be this what we experienced right now.

The most anticipated moment when there's a new ATH come and that's what we were waiting for.
But I don't see that will happen this year, it could maybe be after the next halving come or who knows when the exact time frame on it.

Just keep holding if you have Bitcoin for better profit gaining.
1357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet is safe for keeping large amount of btc? on: March 14, 2022, 11:54:27 PM
Is any hardware or software wallet which is safe to keep large amount of BTC safe and secure?
No doubt it's a hardware wallet.  You can find it here, [BIG LIST] Hardware wallets (80+).
Do you know why?  Because it leaves no footprints even in your device used, or even your computer infected with malware.

For a second choice which is free, that has been suggested above, Electrum is good as an alternative to hardware wallets.  All of these are good for storing Bitcoin for a long period of time or as cold storage.

Always remember the golden rule upon storing Bitcoin "Not your keys, Not your coin".
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Ethereum fees going down in this days? on: March 14, 2022, 11:36:44 PM
There are possible factors and reasons why the Ethereum gas fee was lowered these days.
  • NTFs and Defi didn't get hype this year which makes Ethereum network congestions
  • We have now a few Ethereum killers like Solana, BNB, and Cardano which alter to Ethereum

So the fees on Ethereum vary on the network congestion which means many projects jump into the network that has the lowest transactions fees.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other valid and serious forums about Altcoins? on: March 14, 2022, 11:19:48 PM
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there are other forums about crypto world that talk about Altcoins, where they discuss presale events or other kind of stuff like this one.
Here is the complete list of all altcoins discussion forums websites and Bitcointalk is on number 27 on the list.
https://blog.feedspot.com/cryptocurrency_forums.

Quote
Can you please tell me if there are and which ones are the best?
No doubt that Bitcointalk is the best forum for altcoins and Bitcoin or Reddit should be better.
I have an account too in altcointalk but I'm never active there anymore.

IMO, this forum is good for discussion of all cryptos, we have also scam busters here that are very useful to avoid being scammed.
1360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 14, 2022, 10:58:41 PM
You're not alone, many of us here experienced this kind of scenario like this. But this isn't the attitude of the Bitcoin movement, most likely the same pattern as the image you have shown was in altcoins, or let's say a hype coin that has a huge gain in the market.

You should always have DYOR or analysis before tempting to purchase any cryptos because they are highly volatile which means it always fluctuates the price.  IMO, just be happy if you've been profited upon selling your coin and never regret it.
