1341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in my opinion don't buy crypto at high prices on: February 13, 2023, 12:17:56 PM
and I often laugh when I see people buying crypto when the price is going up,

I also laughed at reading this, if everyone has thoughts like you, how did bitcoin in your opinion at that time touch the "high price"? Bitcoin went up due to buying action everywhere. You're not completely eliminating the risk of losses even if you bought at a low price (from your perspective). So I'dn't gonna laugh at anyone buying bitcoins in any market situation.

    • The new discovered girl:
5Ksana_HandMade. As far as I know, this user has never been nominated before.
    That girl, I nominated her.

    Another girl I discovered,
This night after I finished breastfeeding my baby
still under my consideration at next year's forum awards event. But pls don't ask her to prove what a real girl she is by asking for photos of her recent activities with the baby.  Grin
1343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you check feedbacks score of traders? on: February 12, 2023, 10:04:09 AM
Since feedback is the main preference of score rating then yes, I'll do every some time. And it is advisable not to be the type who likes to deal with new traders regardless of the lower fees offered, there are times when you'll find yourself at risk with an amiss traders. As long as the old trader services makes you feel comfortable, I don't think fees is a big deal anymore.
    1344  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org stole my money on: February 12, 2023, 09:48:50 AM
This is the most shocking action they've ever done[1], and as you can see they're still resistant to reproach[2].
Then I'm not sure for a customer like @OP would even get them to take the time to write a specific response. Op needs to be an influencer on Musk's level first to make them aware of this problem.

1346  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Electronic devices that can detect wrong wallet on: February 12, 2023, 08:38:46 AM
I have seen from the suggestions above that it's possible to build such application that will detect when transactions of Bitcoin occur by using a wrong wallet address. But if someone work on such technology won't it actualize it and mostly building an application when you apply during sending someone Bitcoin with wrong and address it happens to bounce without confirmation. Can't such application won't be build if apply wisdom and time.

As a rule, transactions can't be reversed after you actually click "send", funds won't be bounced if you send to the wrong address format eg bitcoin to ethereum address even if you use the most advanced software. I also don't know if for example this kind of missent prevention app can intervene in other apps like disabling the send button if your input address isn't valid.

1348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Enigma Info stealer on: February 10, 2023, 04:38:46 PM
Thanks for warning us. Meaning even just by opening the file from the email it could start downloading already  and chance to steal your crypto from an app or software wallets?

Attacks don't happen automatically (app will be installed after download). Afaik, android also has a default setting to prevent app installation from outside the store. The attacker has to make every pretext in the first file sent with the .txt extension so that the victim disables security and installs the app, then the attack begins.
1349  Other / Meta / Re: What cause the donation closure thread of Yahoo on: February 10, 2023, 04:26:35 PM
If I need some of these treatment it will be cool if I will be able to ask donation here:
I don't think so, it won't change the policy on raising donation for yourself.

In some cases, I also don't really understand the exact rules as long as donation threads are freely published on several boards, for example raising donations to help other members, someone outside the forum, or an invitation to help disaster victims.
1350  Economy / Economics / Re: Dubai is good example to other countries on: February 10, 2023, 05:56:13 AM

All the young people want is freedom financial freedom Luxury and quality life easy life and safety.

Just look how safe is Dubai there is no crime you can walk with your most expensive watch and you have nothing to worry about.

Me personally and nowdays many others don't care about Nice nature or some old houses.

Try to study Dubai from the dark side, actually there are some parts of life there that even make you sick. I call this the practice of modern slavery [1].
I think the world is more hypnotized by the media's impressions of the glitz and glam of dubai life. Well, they're very subjective, or basically dubai journalists also have side jobs as "marketers" that no one knows about.

1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with shitcoiners without being harsh about reality. on: February 10, 2023, 04:34:49 AM
More recently I discovered that an online friend/co-worker, whom I don't know and just do some dev work for, is not only delusional about their favorite shitcoin but they think that Bitcoin has NO value...

I'd say "it's up to you and your altcoin", just show how much bitcoin market cap is right now how people value bitcoin so much over alts. Of the millions of bitcoin holders in the world, are 1000 of them not have a more smarter way of thinking than your online friend and how can they give bitcoin a value?
1352  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discrimination against bounty hunters on: February 09, 2023, 04:01:02 PM
OP, pls don't overjudge. In essence, high-rank members care about hunters even if they're sometimes too discriminatory (sorry about that), judgmental, rectifying, or defensive. So, that's how things are going around forum folks.

How do you all expect the managers to survive without having those to participate in the work they bring?
It's actually a personal choice and I think all managers know that there is no type of job in this forum that deserves to be the main job.
1353  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins closing down on: February 09, 2023, 12:44:46 PM
LBC is the second after CoinCloud[1] that I am aware of will be discontinuing their service although it is unknown if they have the same reasons. It seems that this crypto winter will indeed be the end of the journey for many p2p trading services.

But on login in myself, I could see that they are still active, maybe you have mistaken their renewal for closing down, perhaps they changed their mind.
They didn't say a total shutdown as of today, the "website renewal" ann[2] I think was actually stickied on their first page long before the discontinuing ann, so active users don't pay much attention to that page anymore.

1354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit.com able to access wallet but they stole my deposit on: February 08, 2023, 10:58:41 PM
In this case, The casino can simply say the fund is lost and cannot be recovered. They don't have to ask for a $200 charge to recover just $50 which doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not gonna pay attention to the cost, what I think is that the customer will be led to say "I won't pay" because they are actually refusing to help in a subtle way. Had the OP lost $500, maybe support would have asked for $2k recovery charge.

Note: I'm talking about cases in general, it could be that rollbit has other reasons or they do indeed charge that fee at any amount.
1355  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit.com able to access wallet but they stole my deposit on: February 08, 2023, 10:32:21 AM
Does it make sense to anyone?

It makes sense on my side, from several similar cases that I've found it can even charge more than that.

The recovery process isn't as simple as it sounds. If let's say rollbit has the same system as cexes wallet in general (deposit funds are swept every few minutes). The privkeys is generated automatically by the system which is then collected together with thousands of other privkeys in 1 safe which is tightly locked by the master key (1st rule) and it should never be opened (2nd rule). If you have to find a privkey linked to OP address, you must have the ability and the credentials to access the master key, open the safe and scramble it (contrary to the 2nd rule). Up to this point, the safe has actually leaked and you are the only person who will be sued if anything unexpected happens.
1356  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [DONATION] A donation campaign for the natural disaster happened in Turkey on: February 08, 2023, 07:47:55 AM
We still can't reach our acquaintances living in the area although there have been many hours passed.
It is also very likely that the electricity in the city was cut off to prevent further damage such as fire so that the communication network was somewhat hampered.

Anyway, my deepest condolences go out to all Turkish and Syrian citizens affected.
Sadly there are no (real) bitcoin addresses that can be donated.
1357  Economy / Reputation / Re: Playnoam Collected KYC DATA and Scam Hunters on: February 08, 2023, 04:46:43 AM
    Playnoam Telegram admin Message:

They said they weren't done with the payment. Delaying payments is an ancient trick of project owners to keep prices down. If you look more closely, liquidity is actually not enough just to cover up the massive dumps by hunters. Only 31k tokens need to be sold for a reasonable price (selling price), the rest is dust buy orders amount down to price @$.0001 if selling another 22k tokens. The bounty prize is 100k tokens, so what do they expect?
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: February 07, 2023, 09:59:26 AM
Trading and gambling are not the same, but they are both risky. Gambling may not bring any hope of profit if you learn about it, but trading can bring that, I understand too. But some people are losing in trading just like some people are losing in gambling. This can be for such kind of people. Some people do not know the strategies that they can use to trade and they keep losing, it may be possible that this kind of people can get a solution of their addiction from the rehab center. I do not think the rehab center just added it, it would be because many people are asking if they are rendering that kind of service. It is a guess though, but that is how business is.

I just think about futures trading as having the same risk as gambling imo, I've heard the term "chasing losses" where it's possible by increasing the leverage if they also limit their trading time. Even though the article doesn't mention on what kind of trading most of the patients' addiction problems are, I'm sure they're mostly activists of that type of trade.
1359  Economy / Reputation / Re: Playnoam Collected KYC DATA and Scam Hunters on: February 07, 2023, 09:25:48 AM
but later they change their mind and those users who eligible for more than 200$ worth of token according to current price of token they only received 4$ Ethereum.

They only ask for Passport and there was no other option to complete Kyc.

That's a rare deal with bounty programs, unless you can provide reference evidence that the $30k bounty will be distributed at current rates. Or you misunderstood your calculation, where $200 refers to the selling price and the market price is only $4.

KYC matter, yeah hunters I think have gotten used to exchanging their valuable identities for something bs.
1360  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🥧 Bitcointalk Pie Making Contest - Gathering feedback 🥧 on: February 07, 2023, 08:11:01 AM
Sadly my contest didn't harness any interest and I ended up not having any entry for it.

    My feedback:
    • I think you was started it in low visibility board, Meta board should be better to start (like 10th anniversary forum contest was).
    • Since cooking is mostly a female (or feminine male, lol) favorite activity, their kitchen is bound to get messy if real men are required to get creative in the kitchen. Maybe you should write a provision like, "if you're a man, involve your female partner to create the work".

Regardless, it's gonna be another amazing contest, can't say for sure myself but I'll try my best to enter your vontest this time.
