1361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In a world where trust fails on: March 14, 2022, 10:25:27 PM
But before you will trust Bitcoin you must understand how it will work.
We saw there are different reports of losing their Bitcoin and getting scammed because they don't know how to protect their asset though they know that Bitcoin brings them freedom and could be trustless but they'd lack of knowledge how to keep it.  So IMO, Bitcoin isn't for everyone, if you're willing to understand what is Bitcoin how the mechanism work, then, Bitcoin it's good for you.

Satoshi, the name who created Bitcoin and we should be thankful to this person that until now many people have been benefited and changed their lives through using Bitcoin.
1362  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUELBITS.COM STOLE 545$ FROM ME PROOF on: March 12, 2022, 11:27:37 PM
I'm not particularly visited on gambling sections but based on the images shown on the OP above, it's not about scamming and I didn't see there's a scam that happened.  Let's draw and conclusion here since Op didn't respond to this thread.

Duelbits has on their term on wager policy when you deposited when you used this site it means you also agreed their term of use.  So, this isn't their fault because they already had their terms once you have deposited you can withdraw your fund back again when you achieved the wager requirements.

It might you lose all of it and now you called them a scammer.
Anyway, have you posted this to their announcement thread?
1363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know more about mixers and untraceable transactions on: March 12, 2022, 11:06:59 PM
1. If privacy coins have mixers or traceless ability built into them doesn't that make them stronger than BTC?
There's no other than stronger coins when it comes privacy is in Bitcoin, most other altcoins are centralized not like Bitcoin it's pure decentralized.

Quote
2. Is it true that one can hide their BTC transactions using mixer but privacy coins don't need mixer? But if this is true why did Monero for example has a block explorer because that's the only way tracking can work.
It makes it a hard time to trace but it doesn't mean you were become completely hidden in your transaction, Bitcoin transactions were always disclosed in a public ledger and it can be traceable but it takes a longer time to find the real sender of the address.

For a better explanation, user @RapTarX was made a thread for you to understand how Bitcoin mixers will work.
What is Bitcoin Mixer?

Quote
3. What about ETH? Is there any way to hide transactions or ETH has its own mixer too?
Yes, it has, and AFAIK, it's ( https://eth-mixer.com/ ) which I don't know how reliable it is, do your own research instead.

If you want to know where is the list of 2022 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites, just click the link.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest in? on: March 11, 2022, 11:58:39 PM
Dont ask for financial advice, should you always have research first before diving into such investment.

My advice is,
  • Educate first yourself in crypto
  • Make sure you didn't invest in a hype project
  • It's good to invest in an existing coin that has been proved to make a potential profit
  • Has a real product and usage
  • Worldwide adopted
  • Truly decentralized

...then, that's a safe investment.
1365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How far has Bitcoin been effective? on: March 11, 2022, 11:45:04 PM
In all aspects, Bitcoin is really helpful even during there's a war and a country has sanctioned, alternative payment is the best choice was Bitcoin.

There are a lot of resources provided above, you need to understand and dig deeper what is the use of Bitcoin and how it will work through blockchain technology.  We've also an eBook that you can read free just read this thread, [RESOURCES] Free bitcoin/blockchain/finance eBook.

Just simply use the search engine box here on Google and you will find a good answer and even simply reading the Bitcoin Whitepaper you'll understand everything for sure.

1367  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency is too small for Russia - Binance CEO on: March 11, 2022, 11:12:52 PM
All was I see here is pure business, of course, CZ is a businessman that might have an effect on the exchange if they will impose a ban on the Russian's accounts.  There's another reason on other hand, remember that CZ has come from Jiangsu, China the place where he is born.  China and Russia have a good relationship and maybe that was a possible reason.

What possible reason it is, at least it showing support to innocent people and they have the right to have their fund.  Like Coinbase do the same with Binance and I think Brian Armstrong isn't Chinese but still, he has a concern for the innocent users from Russia and they're in the right decision, exchanges should be on a neutral decision which is CZ also care on Ukrainian victims.
1368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: March 11, 2022, 10:51:50 PM
Always remember that indicators didn't give a signal when to execute trading which is the buy and sell, it only gives predictions in the market movement, how to follow the candlestick movement or how the recent price action was being moved.  Still, you're predicting the market which is what we know it's unpredictable so either what indicators that you've used it's useless if you don't know how to analyze the market.

That's right, they are very crucial to use and most of them can't use at the same, they should be used at once.
1369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 08, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
Please, give accurate information as you are think it can be, we all still know that bitcoin price will rise and reach ATH again.
You've already said it, you believed on Bitcoin that there could be an ATH so it means Bitcoin will increase by your belief.
There's no one exactly give you an accurate answer to this because we know Bitcoin is unpredictable and as I suggest invest only of what you can afford and can willing to wait until your profit was there.

There's a lot of technical analysis that we heard but all of them are predicting the market.  Considering that no one of them accurately can guess what will happen in the future.  Just take my advice above if you believe in Bitcoin.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police can confiscate refugees' valuables. bitcoin not affected... on: March 08, 2022, 11:52:46 PM
Meanwhile bitcoin doesn't take up any space, it can be 12 words that you memorize or write down in a book spread among pages without anybody knowing what it is and can not be confiscated. All one's net-worth could be carried around like this. Grin
I would not suggest memorizing your seed phrase as an option if you want to recover your wallet address after crossing the border, we can memorize lots of information, but trusting your brain to store your seed phrase and remember it accurately is very risky, especially as your crossing could be delayed for whatever reason and now you have to store it for longer.
I tend to agree with this and I have done this so many times and ended up forgetting what I memorized.  So, I highly advise anyone not to do this if you have seed phrase because one mistake you wouldn't recover your Bitcoin.

It could be more effective if you will write the seed phrase on the books and spread them all on every page and only pages you need to memorize where you wrote the seed phrase.  But of course, not only books, just spread all your books 5-10 books the same pages much better and no one probably notices a single word per page.

This is why Bitcoin is always safe to store not only a value, for privacy purposes too.
1371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How has Bitcoin helped the world? on: March 08, 2022, 11:29:00 PM
It seams Bitcoin trading is the only real online trading as it stands in the world, Bitcoin has done more good to the world mostly to the unemployed youths using Android phones, Instead of wasting our data on some irrelevant things online, it has helped us in earning at least money to feed. All thanks to the organizers of this forum. I'm grateful.

I'm a newbie.
Bear in mind that not all is a win-win situation in trading, there's always a risk on it and maybe you've earned today and have a great loss in the future.
You've said you're a newbie so expecting that you should learn more about Bitcoin trading and other altcoins too, it's true that there are too many people who have changed their lifestyle because of trading but unfortunately in opposite result others have ruined their lives too.  In short, not are all happy endings in crypto trading.

Welcome to the forum, just keep reading and gathering information regarding Bitcoin so that you will know those crucial parts of it.
See you around.
1372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading should be supported by goverment on: March 08, 2022, 10:59:07 PM
Yes if goverment support and i make profit can pay to them if i lose i dont lose my money or just some money goverment will bail me out
So it means, it's a win-win situation on your side, isn't it?
I don't think so, the government when it comes to financial matters always cares that people should pay tax and if their profit belongs to the minimum taxable income. Another factor is, they don't support any form of gambling and trading maybe belong to that.

It's one-sided and it's in favor of you, the government will not accept this proposal of yours as we all know government always cares about taxes not how people benefit from the government.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's Day Wishes to all Women Bitcoiners on: March 08, 2022, 10:49:41 PM
As proof that there are a healthy growth of female users by the CEO of BuyUcoin in this article, Crypto investments by women on the rise; a look at latest trends it says that there's a healthy growth of female on their platform which is maybe they have their data through KYC.

Happy Women's Day to all (including myself).
I have seen before which is I forgot where it is, based on the statistic almost 50% of men's work can women do, and I didn't doubt crypto, especially those wives that who left always in their house and want to make money on crypto, especially during the pandemic time.  I have a lot of friends who I personally know that involved in trading.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 07, 2022, 11:17:29 PM
Trading isn't a job for me and this is also isn't a stable source of income, it might be you will win now and have a big loss in the future.  Nobody knows how much you can get profit if you meant trading is good for living.  I rather not quit my job even it has a low paycheck, it serves as a source of your capital once you have your salary monthly.  You can still do trading even you didn't have full-time on it, and there's scalping trading that consumes less time and also less risk than the full-time trader.

People think that trading is very easy to make money, but in fact, it wasn't.
Trading is those people who can afford to lose money and in the first place, if your way of living is trading, that's a very crucial part of your life.
1375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips To Upgrade Your Post Quality For Future Reference on: March 07, 2022, 10:52:06 PM
What I do is to make sure all post are carefully edited and corrected before posting them, and if the information is not something I want to look back on in the future I will never revisit them ever so, this may not work for me it's cool anyway to edit old posts but life is a process so why not leave the errors to serve as a reference point to when you learning.
I also had many posts that were corrected by someone else because it's not the right one and it's already quoted by them, so let it be, it was corrected plus they proved it that it was wrong and it means the reader knows that your opinion is wrong.  So I learned these mistakes when I was new in the forum, before you will hit the "post" button, just check it first the "preview" button to check if your post is in the correct grammar and spelling or there's a misspelled.

But here's a tip to make a quality post, never interact with a topic that you don't know, and make sure to be on the topic, not an off-topic reply.  Care about the quality not the quantity of your post just because of your weekly quota.
1376  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 06, 2022, 11:59:15 PM
IMO, just temporarily adopting Bitcoin but not permanently or full adoption of Bitcoin.
As per see, Bitcoin can't save their economy and maybe they used this Bitcoin now to bypass sanctions, still, they have other countries to support them and use their own currency still which is better for them, for alternate currency it might this way, Bitcoin is useful to them.

But I worried since China was banning Bitcoin several times and might Russia will do the same, so we don't really know what their government decision is.
1377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 06, 2022, 11:48:21 PM
All involve risk and a crucial upon making a decision, both of them have the same time frame of trading strategy but don't have the same how frequent trades in the market.  But scalper as I noticed sometimes can be called day trader but day trader we can't call them as a scalper, so the difference here is that is per session trades.

It seems like this, more often trades a day, small profit, less risk and that's what we called scalper and on other hand, fewer trades a day, big profit but it has high risk.  So now, scalping sounds better if you have enough time and dedication to understand the market situation a full time to spend in the market just to earn a profit, they had the goal just to earn profit.
1378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Bitcoin" vs "bitcoin" | Do we know the difference? on: March 06, 2022, 11:24:20 PM
I didn't want to confuse myself which is the right to use the uppercase B or the lowercase b, IMO, I used Bitcoin because this is the name of this currency, and since the noun starts with the uppercase letter I used "Bitcoin" every time I was writing.  But anyway, thank you for this input and clarification about the Bitcoin name, I didn't know that there's proper writing.
1379  Other / Archival / Re: Complex password is the key to security on: March 05, 2022, 11:57:44 PM
But also remember the simple truths:

  • Do not use words or a set of numbers as passwords
  • Do not use automatic password generators, it is better to come up with a complex password yourself, it may be easier to remember it.
  • Do not use a universal password to enter all sites (exchanges, wallets, etc.)
  • Do not store your passwords in the cloud and on Internet sites
  • Do not store your passwords in a text document on your computer desktop
I tend to agree with this and these are true.
But the graphic might be oversimplified by the author which is not just easy to crack a password.  I have been watched on Youtube video tutorial on How Brute-force your online blockchain.info wallet with btcrecover and based on the video not just simply to brute force the password.

We should have extra care in our valuable stuff, especially crypto wallets, and be careful upon storing on our private key and password.

A funny FB post that was I found on Binance group, he was proud that he brought a Ledger wallet but the key was exposed. (Bit off-topic)

1380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 05, 2022, 11:43:56 PM
..that's why there is stop loss/targets because it will save you to maximize your profits and minimize your loss.
It's a good point to always set a stop loss or target in every trader so that they will know about their loss, if your strategy will not work at once or twice, don't let it will happen next, find another one and try.  It seems to sound like trial and error but through this error, you should learn about it and apply it in the next session and avoid not will happening again.

I tend to agree with others there's no accurate trading strategies, all of them are speculating the market try to draw a conclusion which is only predicting the possible outcome but in fact, it's unpredctable and no really knows what will happen next.
