1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 04, 2023, 11:06:45 AM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.

I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?

Gambling sites are for sure not a safe place to be committing money laundering. That isn’t their business and they’re heavily regulated against this sort of thing. With mixers there is hope they will fight requests from law enforcement. With casinos they will turn over every piece of information they have on you to guard their business.
sure but then what do we to hide After all, in reality, no one can hide from the law because the world itself is not designed any exist in one man, so much so it is that when or if you use mixer the law if they want to cash up with you, there will get through to you in whatever form you want them to, this is why we may never have 100% privacy because imagine when a mixer gets seized, all users data will be collected and put true forensic analysis.

This is why we must know the distinction between gambling and Bitcoin mixer which are all in different classes and operations.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 04, 2023, 10:49:27 AM
Manchester City are still on a winless streak now. This was the third game in a row for them in which they got a draw. All of them were against big teams in the league. They conceded 8 goals in these games at the same time.

This is just horrible for Manchester City in my opinion. Because their defense isn't this weak normally. But they just can't have exactly the same kind of domination they imagine in big games. Next time they have an away game against Aston Villa. This is also technically a tough game on paper. Because Emery's Aston Villa are doing really impressive work this season. Let's see whether this bad streak will end for Manchester City.
The last weekend was not that good for Manchester City and in this season alot have not been well with the title holders of the last two season, Manchester City is on the verge of compiling alot of points to be able to stay ahead of other clubs who may be putting up a strong come back in the premier leagues this season.

Most of the time, we have mistaken the draw to mean success but in this case, we have to realize the risk that is associated with draw like innthe last weekend's Manchester City draw with 3 goals.

Although, the goals number looks great, but then also we have to realize the place of clubs like Liverpool who are making a strong come back un this season and also winning their match on the weekend with multiple goals.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits $40,000 for First Time Since April 2022 on: December 04, 2023, 05:57:07 AM
Many of us never expected Bitcoin to cross the 40k region at this time and most importantly we have kept a high gaze at the after-halving possibility for market increase, but surprised, bitcoin have crossed the 40,000k+ price even before the middle of the last month of 2023 which to me is a good sign of what to expect shortly and at some point also, if the rally persists in it current speed, that means we are going to see a possible new price benchmark mark befor6the much speculated 2024 March - April Bitcoin halving period.

So seeing Bitcoin at 40k really excites me at this moment in time because many who bought Bitcoin when the price was below or within the 20k region, are already in massive gains right now.
1384  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 04, 2023, 05:45:53 AM
At this point we achieved a great success by chasing this scammer out of this forum which os a good thing, because i can still remember when their presence created alot of kioks in the community and those signature promoter kept putting them to our faces for a long period before they finally gave up and exit the forum for good.
We did not chase them mate instead we have just expose them by the help of their victims so they end up losing their face in front of this forum and yes in front of everyone .
and also 1xbit scam stops with their brand now.

Oh sorry fornthe wrong word used, i agree that using such term may make the statement suind as if we just attck them and push them out of the forum and that is not what happen, the scam was uncovered and exposed by experts a forum members and with loads of scam accusations against them here in the forum and i number of unresolved complaints, so for sure their illegal activities is waht chase them out of the forum.

But then even with all our warnings, the 1xbit team and their promoters put a lot at our face and did not mind our efforts to expose them for a long period until recently when they finally ended the shady promotions here in the forum and also became inactive the already know that, their image is damaged beyond repairs and we ant ready to give up on exposing their scammy shady tactics.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 03, 2023, 10:55:58 PM

We do know that loan terms could neither be playing around 6-12 months or even more and those amounts could really be that easily be blown up in an instant on the time that you do play gambling.
For those people who do make out decisions on taking up a loan and just simply playing those amount of money in gambling. Do they really ever think on what are the things that they would really be needing to pay up which it could be a long time? Dont know on where they do put up that rational thinking on trying out to balance in between risks and reward.
Dont know on where they do put up their brains on trying out to escalate whether its worth or not. Gambling with loan money is never been wise in the first place.

The gambler who was in the big loss in the gambling should develop his skills in the game which he use to play in the gambling sites. The gambler who had time to learn the game should spend their time to analysis the game and increase their skill to that game.It May take of 6-12 months to reach the complete skills in the gambling site. But the gamblers should not consider it as the waste of time. It’s like investing of time for the future profit,Gambler should not begin gambling with the loan money. The gamblers also spend 6-12 months to get ready of their initial capital for the gambling sites. This prevent you from more burden in future.
Lesson have a o be learned and also,  skills needs fo be build,  this way,  the gamblers will operate in a stable position that will limits his possibility of making further loses in the future and the most things I have learn from gambling loses is that,  it teaches us some great lessons,  such as.

1: ability to manage the risk of the game in the future

2: the push to acquire more skills to beat the game on the next session,  this are the most looked at thing that we have done at most times and it have helped us all if you take the lessons seriously.

1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 03, 2023, 10:46:21 PM
https://www.livemint.com/market/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-surges-2-87-to-its-highest-level-this-year-11701429005470.html

Bitcoin has surged for 2.87% today and reached the highest level in 2023. Does this year has more surprises for us and we can break all time high of bitcoin?
Is a nice site to view Bitcoin almost climbing up to $40,000 which has sprung up a lot of discussions in that direction and many bitcoin market speculators are already predicting a bull return in the Bitcoin market,  but for me I am sure 40k is not a enough benchmarks to call it a bull market but rather,  we are at a recovery level at the moment and this could possibly holds way for quite a while before any major market break out that could then be considered,  the start of a bull market and by then we can aimed and seeing a new all time high (ATH) price.

At this point, we are only seeing some level of recovery in the price of bitcoin and nothing more than that,  2.87% movement is still ok to make some short-term DCA decisions,  but then also we have to check the risk ratio.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 03, 2023, 10:30:58 PM
The news is everywhere in the internet. And till now I have not really gotten the whole stuff. Is it that Crustiano Ronaldo is the founder of the NFT? I am not reall ofy familiar with this Non-Fugitive Tokens (NFT), I don't even know how to use it and I don't know much about it all because I was not interested in it. And things like this doesn't mean if the person is a hero or a legend, if Crustiano Ronaldo is found guilty of the allegations then he pay them the money and he will be punished by the law. And the only thing that can save noe is the lawyer that he will use. And this is a serious case for him.
The thing is that,  investors lost billions of dollars to Christiano Ronaldo-endorsed NTFs and it may likely be that he is the sole owner,  and if that is the case then he may get robbed of an investment scam,  but if he is not a member of a team,  that will be a different ball game entirely.

Well, I will keep everyone updated as the development unfolds and what the outcome of the whole crisis and whether or not CR7 is truly guilty or not and what his level of involvement is.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: December 03, 2023, 10:23:51 PM

Failing on control your greed on the time on where its on peak specially when we are on winning side, then it cant really be avoided that we would be thinking that we should be playing
even more to get more winning. We are just humans then it would really be just that so normal that  you would really be thinking up this way or the emotions would really be kicking in on the time that we are in on such condition on which its inevitable. It would really be just that a matter of choice on how someone would really be that taking up corresponding actions basing up on the situation.
You would really be finding up yourself getting wrecked in longer runs if you do let your greed control you and this is something a very common scenario on the gambling field.
Greed is one primary evil that needs to be defeated by all gamblers,  this is because many at times,  the negative reports of cases of gambling addictions all start from the gambler's inability to control their greed and also put them in control and check,  so many time,  the gambler just play based on his feeling and expectation from the games and this expectation can be sometimes misleading.

Because for a gambler who already made a decent winning,  to now want to continue gambling with the expectation of that he will make more winnings,  this will only lead him to multiple losses which if not controlled could be called a deformity since their mental balance is not near accurate to discover that,  gambling shouldn't be taken seriously.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 03, 2023, 10:14:02 PM
There is nothing special that has to happen, the casinos are prepared for this type of situation even before perhaps this news had any relevance, everything is defined in that you must read the TOC, there they establish maximum deposits and maximum withdrawals for 24 hours, weekly or monthly and in what amounts KYC is required, that is there in the crypto casinos and I don't think it will change in the short term due to this recent news about the mix.

I have to agree with this comment,  casino are proactive on their approach to things and their for sees a lot of development and have put measure in place to checkmate all the possible challenges that may come along the way such as casino being accused for money laundering or being used to mix money,  this was check and mechanism was put in place to prevent such occurrence and such as the wagering requirements.

Take also another possible unrealistic attempt that did not work in casinos,  such as AI usage,  just as there have been some developments of AI in the trading market,  but when it comes to casinos,  the use of both or any form of external actors aside from the gambler is seen as a violation of their rules and that could result into account closer.

So for sure casino is always a step ahead of them all and that can be seen in their ability to safeguard themselves all through this time.
1390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Restart, is it a good thing for humanity? on: December 03, 2023, 09:42:54 PM

Now, are we going to say that life now with alot of comfort is not better than the medieval times, the times that Thomas Hobbes described in state of nature.

I don't believe that things would have been far different from what we are witnessing now.

Thomas  Hobbs tried as much as possible to give us a vivid definition of what the state of nature was at that time, and he tried to describe it as brutal, cruel and lawless, then anyone with strength will rule over his fellow since there is no laws or government to serve as a protector of laws and orders in the society.

Alot have chaged for good and modern society is muce better the internet has given birth to alot of positive development in the world and in this 21st century our generation has found the greatest tools for human development on the internet, so for sure I will never consider us going back to the era of cave men when there is no interconnectedness and no industrializations.
1391  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: December 03, 2023, 09:32:23 PM
Seriously, the offer looks tempting and interesting at the same time because for anyone who has such an amount to join the promotion, it is a good time to join them and if you have an inactive account it is the best time to reactivate the account and make the deposits, of 150 dollars welcome deposits to get the 25 dollars to play the selected and mentioned game.

But the only issue for me is that the deposit amount required is high and at the same time, those mentioned games are not my game's specs at some point, but then we look forward to seeing more new promotions as the year is about to come to an end.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: December 03, 2023, 09:23:12 PM
Well, it's OK that you used 99.9999 percent and not the word "all", because personally, I believe that it is very possible for a gambler to leave gambling and never try gambling again, ever, if he or she hits it big and manages to build a good business with the money.

At least, for a fact, I trust myself that, if luck locates me and I win up to a hundred thousand dollars from gambling tomorrow, I may never gamble again to be honest, except for whatever reason, I mismanaged the money, which is not possible at all, or that for whatever reason, my business isn't going well, which also Is not possible.

Overall, any gambler who is not addicted to gambling does have the potential and capability to quit gambling and never gamble again, but then, the need for more and more money will be the only reason why the gambler will keep coming back and back, over and over again.
I see things in the same way, while I do gamble from time to time if I am lucky enough to get a massive win you can be sure that despite my feelings of gratitude towards gambling due to such a happy occurrence, I will make sure to not gamble again, since I know very well that one of the most common mistakes gamblers make is to let greed control them, and they keep gambling hoping to get even more money from the casinos and lose it all during that process.
Well for me, I may not take a total exit from gambling if I make a big win or hit a jackpot but I may likely take a short break from active gambling and for that, I may take a month or two to enjoy my winning and also limits my loses at all time, because by continues playing,  you may end in more loses at some point, then also greed may set in at some point in the process of being actively playing while you already made a winning.

Sometimes, what leads gamblers to lose more than they win is their inability to defeat their greed tendency and also chase a particular direction thinking that the result will repeat itself.

We already have a discussion going on and i believe this topic is a duplicate of that other topic as relates to the banning of Bitcoin mixers services here on bitcointalk, and its implications on gambling sites which are much more widely different in nature and operations.

1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 03, 2023, 07:56:35 PM
Firstly, in my country, gambling is illegal and against the law. And the act of money laundering through a casino, this is fairly new. However, even so, in the country where I live, this kind of mode is often found and this dirty deed is often carried out by a number of regional heads, they do the mode of money laundering through a casino or foreign gambling place, which exchanges the proceeds of crime for casino coins and then the money is exchanged back in cash. And in this way, the results of the money exchange do not become a problem when the money is brought back to their country, because it is considered to come from playing gambling which in some countries, gambling is a legal activity. And in this case of course there are several parties who control the action. and this is where the question becomes, who controls the action? Is it from the casino or not.

I don't know for sure, but I think in this case there is an intermediary who facilitates between the perpetrators of money laundering and a casino that is used as a place to launder the proceeds of crime.
I agree with you on a number of things, but also you forget to mentioned that casinos already have a system in olace to make miney laundering a hard thing to achieve in gambling and that way, any attempts will only get the criminal tendency of losing the money due to wagering conditions, because most of the centralized casinos already have a condition on their deposits and witdrwals which make it impossible for money luanderers to use casino as a safe heaven for their criminal activities.

Also in my country, gambling is a legal activity and at that, and we have policies that mandate every deposit to meet some requirements before being withdrawable, so for gamblers, they already know that any deposits must meet such requirements so that is a bad market for money launderers since they may lose the entire deposits in the process of trying to meet the wagering requirements.
1395  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government job or private job? on: December 03, 2023, 07:13:35 PM
As they said, government job is better compare to private job because it is permanent and pensionable and the job is more secured. Though private job too some are pensionable but not permanent and not that secured. And again in private job, you have the opportunity to let them know how much you want to be paid. You can either be paid higher or lower base on how you present yourself.

Which one do you prefer if you are given an offer?

I will prefer to go for a government work because have the many benefits that comes from it even during and after service. When looking for a job to do, security of the work is my highest priority and I believe I can only achieve this maximum job security by working with the government. There are many private sector works that are paying highly than the government work but if job security is not guaranteed and also a pension scheme to fend for me after retirement, it will not be a work for me to love to do forever. Although, everybody has their own way of imagining and approaching things, but to me, I will go for a good government work several times before trying out the private one.
Yes, a government job is far better than a private job no matter what the salary differences are, alot of the time the areas and other incentives that come with a government job will surpass that of a private sector job I consider the private sector to be some form of rubbery on the employees since I have had a long term experience in that directions, many at times we have faced this challenges of choosing a high paying private job to government jobs.

But the most ultimate advantage of a government job is the ability to build a career in the field since in a government job, there is job security and all of that stuff.

The gambling industry is fully regulatory compliance since the majority of them are centralized and have kyc implementation in the casino,  so there is nothing like a threat and what happens to mixer will not happen to gamble, even though there is a presence of money laundering in the gambling market but also that is not different from what is also obtainable with traditional banks too and every other financial institution,  criminals have a way of getting through,  but if caught then it becomes another case entirely.

So casinos will suspend the accounts of gamblers if they notice any form of money laundering activities,  this is why, sometimes you hear cases of gamblers' accounts being locked with funds in it and an investigation is being carried out,  so for that,  the government will only have problem with decentralized casinos and that is why you see most of them closing down the businesses due to such cases at that.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 03, 2023, 06:30:26 PM
In my opinion cr7 is just an advertising model figure to strengthen those products that are paid to promote and we need to know what is really happening and this matter should be handled by the authorities with public transparency. If you become a victim, will you do the same as investors who experience losses by demanding compensation?
That is it but the things could go further than that because of the nature of NFTs some of that athlete made a lot of progress and development to the extent of launching their NFTs so if this be the case then it means that CR7 will have a tough time in the legal battle.

But then also it all ball down to his direct involvement in the project and how deep the terms of the contract is if he is just an advertiser or not.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 03, 2023, 05:44:15 PM
Chelsea did a nice job playing with a 10 man team against Brighton especially with Mitoma exhibiting his talent on the Chelsea's defense with turbulence. Am glad for the blues on this win all 3 goals being a debut goals from Colwill and Enzo Fernandez. However, Gallagher has to keep his cool he's been too aggressive with the tackles hardly play a game without receiving a card, his red card almost nick the team the 3points, and consequently, his absence makes a huge loss for Chelsea when they meet Manchester United next weekend.

At Anfield it was an incredible performance by Liverpool against Fulham coming in from behind 2:3 to win the match 4:3 it was astonishing and quite an entertaining match with the way the goals were coming in.

Manchester City vs Tottenham game is already underway with City leading 2:1 in that game in just 36 minutes of play...
Yeah, this is a big comeback for Chelsea in the weekend and for sure the coming days in the premier league and for this group stage and in the group and also other clubs like Liverpool whose success also was a narrow escape for them since the season has already gotten to it the most pressing stage where most clubs are putting up strong opposition and possible winning in their games to be able to increase their points on the tables and at that any slow point such as in the case of Liverpool where they win with just a goal difference which was narrow with a 4:3 winning against Fulham whose performance is also almost the same with Liverpool so if Liverpool hard missed it last chance to score that goal it could have been difficult for them to remain on the same point on the table.
1399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing? on: December 02, 2023, 11:58:19 PM
To me, there is nothing new to this,  and this has never been different from what we used to exuberance with the market because at some point in the past,  bitcoin has always been showing similar price movement and we shouldn't try to ascribe this one to any event or anticipated bull run,  this is just a normal market recovery movement and just for a short term,  to allow those that got in at around 20 or below to be able to cash in the profit in the short term.

Unless for long-term Bitcoin holders who may not look at the directions of the market at its present level,  and also giving the expression we are in for a long-term market recovery up until the next price break out that we can call a bull market.

I can only say that the reason why the price value of Bitcoin is rising is because of the hype that is happening in the news and in the market. It's really different when it's well reported. For example, it happened recently that someone reported that Blackrock was approved for ETF on a well-known platform, Cointelegraph, which published the same news. Though blackrock denied it.

If this is just fake news and there are a lot of hyped investors, how can it be that what is happening in this matter with Bitcoin is true regarding its price value in the market?
Bitcoin ETF have indeed become the major propeller to the current market value of Bitcoin and the surge in the price in recent times,  much more also is the fact that Bitcoin is highly volatile and any event can easily affects it value in whatever direction possible and this is one of those instances.

Alot have been in the news lately on the development and possible approval of the bitcoin ETF by the United state legislators and cex which will open up a lot of opportunities to most Bitcoin holders,  investors and speculator,  trader and a host of all others.

What's to believe now when it comes to Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid has got to be what I don't know. Last to seasons, Real Madrid showed a genuine interest in the french lad but he didn't give a positive response to Real Madrid. They've recently said they wouldn't be making moves to sign him no more. There's a lot of uncertainty to be clarified but anyways I'm not forcing shit until tue start of the transfer window. I'd see if Real Madrid will come to agreement for him or make plans for Endrick whomis a much younger talent to Kylian Mbappe.

Links with Liverpool are just normal predictions and talks from fans, but he'll be a good option still, they're a big club and can handle his demands.
Quite a funny word to use,  referring to Mbappe as a lad in your comment made me to have a second look at what the age of the France player,  and I discovered that he was actually 24 which indeed qualifies you to call him a lad even though he is an adult already,  and I am sure if hard it has been that Real Madrid got Mbappe onboard their team against this season before the start of the season,  by now their performance in all the leagues could have been top,  but even without Kylian Mbappe,  Real Madrid is still representing up until this moment and that shows a lot to what we should have gotten if the player was already secured to the club.

A lot have to be done to attract the player to Real Madrid at this point since the season-only window is by January-February but still, there has not been a strong indication of what the position of both the club and player is on the deal that has already been in talks for a while now.
