For me it looks like South Africa is trying to sit on two chairs on the same time. They don't want to ruin their relationship with West too much, but at the same time they don't really want to arrest Putin. So, they now simply ask him not to come to South Africa. Thank you! I don't think so. To reach 10,000 posts is not too difficult if you consistently make 5-6 posts every day, I mean you will get that number in 5 years. But it's much better if you only focus on the quality of the posts rather than the number of posts you make even if it doesn't reach 10,000 in 5 years. The signature campaign will also affect your speed for reach it.

I follow Eurovision and I place some bets on it each year. But probably I'm not going to watch Eurovision semifinals this year, as it will happen exactly on the same time as Champions league and Europa league semifinals. But I will turn on final on Saturday. So far I heard just few songs from this year contest. Loreen is big favorite according to bookmakers and there is no doubt that she will win again, same like in 2012. For the first time her song didn't left me big impression, but when I listened it second time, I liked it more. Seems that UK finally took Eurovision seriously, especially when it's held in their country after many years in the bottom. Not very exciting race, I got bored a bit, despite that I support Red Bull. That's just too easy for Verstappen. He started from P9 and he needed just few laps to reach P2 and then reach 1st place after Perez pit stop. And later Checo with older tyres had no chance to keep Max behind.
Alonso - another day in the office and again he is back on podium. I really hope that he will get chance to win race this season.
What Hamilton did is also worth to mention - from P13 to P6, impressive.

We seriously need to revamp the whole " someone crashed so we have to stop" thing. I mean I get it, we are talking about something that should exist in the first place. Just like other rounds and sometimes practice, hold the time, restart after everything is clear. This is why we should be considering this method we should restart it so everyone can race to their deserved place. In any case we may keep it this way so that we could just have more fun as well, think about it Max started like this recently as well, forgot which race it was but he did start one like this as well and he ended up bening second like by lap 25. So he could end up being at high level easily very well but this will help Perez a lot and should be considering that as a good thing for sure.
Rules are rules, it didn't happened fo the first time, but indeed, such ending of qualification is awkward indeed. I think it's time to change this rule. Though, now we can expect very interesting race, Perez have great chance to win another race and make some pressure on Verstappen. While Verstappen may have difficult time to go from P9 up. |

That's not going to happen and I am sure this relief for Benfica means such a huge relief to them. It could have become very close as you said, but Benfica deserved this one as they were the better team in many respects. But still mental pressure can force you into unnecessary mistakes any time and that would have been risky against Braga. Now Benfica really would have to screw it up to still give Porto a chance. They knew about the importance of this game and they did their job.
It's very important win for Benfica, after game ended, it was visible how much it matters for Benfica players. In general, it was difficult game, but Benfica were better. Yeah that Sloukas three in the third game was important. In this duel we are just going back and forth with the wins. Only duel that didnt go into the fifth match is Barcelona vs Zalgiris witch was just a sweep by Barca. Damn, Real wins again in Belgrade and makes it 2:2. I remind that no team in Euroleague history haven't managed to make an comeback after they were down 0:2. It was another very close game, but Real were better in decisive moments. Though, at one moment when Partizan stolen 2 balls and scored 4 points in few seconds it looked that they still can break this game. Series returns to Madrid and Punter already will be available for Partizan, while it seems that Real's Deck got serious injury.
Maccabi simply destroyed Monaco 104:69. They decided game by making 20:0 run in 2nd half and never looked back. Most of us expected 5 games series, but for me it was difficult to imagine scenario like in this game. So, now Game 5 in Monaco and I'm not going to predict anything

Fenerbahche - Olympiacos, I have no words about this game, it was simply epic. What happened in the end makes it into one of the best playoff games in Euroleague history. When Walkup lost ball in last seconds in such stupid way and Guduric scored 3 points it looked that Fener have everything in their hands. Damn, another crazy night of Euroleague playoffs. And it's so sad that they make both games almost on the same time.
I think I never saw such atmosphere in Euroleague game like in Stark arena. And respect to Partizan fans for not doing something stupid what could hurt their own team. About game, Partizan gave it all, but it wasn't enough with short roster. That Williams - Goss 3 pointer killed Partizan. Ball in LeDay hands in decisive moments didn't looked like best idea, but they didn't had many options to choose. In game 4 Lessort and Deck will return to their teams.
Monaco made big surprise by winning in Tel Aviv and now they're 1 win away from Final 4. They weren't welcomed very warm, Monaco bus was even stopped by Maccabi fans. But Monaco were leading almost whole game and they made arena silent.

Interesting post, I'm not very surprised to read such things about Seebian league. It's reality of many leagues in Balkans and Eastern Europe that there is lot of dirty things done behind the curtains. My impression about Serbian league from aside - in general there is just 2 games in whole season that really matters - it's Zvezda - Partizan and rest of league probably isn't very interesting even for locals. Zvezda have decent results in UEFA cups, Partizan also playing in group stages on regular basis, but rest of teams getting eliminated in early rounds of qualification. It says something about level of league. I saw a bit of last CZ - Partizan and it was played in completely empty stadium, not the best image for such derby. |
