^  Japan is Honda's race, so they had to.  Same as when it goes to Italy for Ferrari.  They have to win those races for their supporters.  Wink

Superb race for Leclerc with tyre managment.
In a track where is very hard to overtake in similar condition, he got the best outcome.

Redbull is on another level but today we have the dimostration that Ferrari halved the distance from the past year and now they are the second strenght in the cirucs

Yup got all on the way up behind Sainz. It would've been sweet if he got to the podium.  If not for Perez's improved performance as of late we'd be seeing both Ferraris on the podium.  Lol.  But not really sure what's gotten in Perez this season...  Maybe he needs to prove a point that he should be given a new contract.  Cheesy

As for the race itself, I kinda was getting bored starting at around lap 21...  And I just can't pay as much attention to it anymore.

^  Yeah that's true...  And he had fought in some bangers during his prime.  Big reason why the UFC didn't get rid of him given how old he is.  And in this spot Bobby Green, he's given a fight that he could win as an underdog.  Could be a good night for him and an opportunity to end his fighting days with a high note.

Wut?  .01 ETH?  Where?  Just in mainnet or spread and added together from all EVM wallets?  I still have a little over .01 ETH LP'd in some protocol that looks like it won't be airdropping any tokens anymore as it already had a presale.  I'll just pull that one out. I could also use it to move around different aggregators and use Layer Zero, Stargate as the bridge of course...  Grin

And Kamino airdrop checker came out today.  Not sure why I got around 35 tokens.  Lmao.  I tried lending some stables in it for one day but then pulled them out as these Solana points farms are waaay over farmed.  Just stay away if you only have a smol bag.

Since the LayerZero protocol does not have its own network, it would be logical to hold 0.01 ETH on the main network. This is a simple criterion by which the team will be able to filter out a large number of sybils.

Ah yeah...  Looks like I kinda got confused with the decimals.  Lol.  I was thinking .01 ETH is around 350 bucks or something.  Cheesy  Then I saw my wallet and it has around .011 or something for a tad close or over 35 bucks.  But yeah, it makes sense.  But it would make more sense if it was at least .01 ETH in total but across different networks.  Not sure if it could easily prevent sybils tho.  The amount is easy to get.  But maybe it could prevent the kind of sybil behavoir that controls 30 or more wallets.  Cheesy  Those guys who make airdrop farming for a living.  It's just funny because sybils take away the primary purpose of airdrops and turned it into something like a dump fest instead of something that could benefit the project's community.

Just as I thought...  Snow would win against the crowd favorite Bisu and with a resounding win he did.  It was 3 - 0.  As for the one with Soulkey and Mini...  Mini did really well at the first a couple of games.  But man...  What a win in the quarters by Soulkey by winning the last three games in this best of 5.  I think Soulkey will go to the final and win the whole thing again just as he did last year.

Here are the results.  Semi finals next week!

^  And it's funny cos when you look at those matches you realize that he didn't really make it big in the UFC because all of them are in the prelims.  Lol.  But he's good enough to stay in the UFC tho.  Against Bobby Green and at his age, I think he'll lose this one.  Will he retire?  Maybe...  And 300 is a good event to make a post fight announcement.

Anyway, here's what everybody is waiting for...  The Multi Master by jeremypwr.  Enjoy!

^  The main event is not what we really wanted but the rest of the event is so good, it makes up for it.  Something like Jones vs Aspinall would've made it complete tho.  That's the match up that everybody would surely wanna see.  Two of the best heavy weights in the UFC and it would've been a champ vs interim champ kind of thing.  But we can't get everything we want.

Just 4 finishes in the event coupled with three split decisions makes me think it wasn't that good.  Not interested to watch the replay either.  Lol.  I did tune in for the main event tho.  I think Curtis threw the cleaner shots and had Allen in trouble in there...

And Allen's line was around 1.50 or something.  He didn't look good for a guy who's implied odds was lined high.

...I'm starting to feel good about LZ now.  With the volume I put in there I think I should be good for at least the minimum amount...

Of course, LayerZero has a huge budget for airdrop, but the number of participants exceeds 100 times the number that Wormhole had. However, it is necessary to complete one more of the main tasks, to replenish your wallet with at least 0.01 ETH, as this may be one of the main criteria.

Wut?  .01 ETH?  Where?  Just in mainnet or spread and added together from all EVM wallets?  I still have a little over .01 ETH LP'd in some protocol that looks like it won't be airdropping any tokens anymore as it already had a presale.  I'll just pull that one out. ^  Yup...  Another qualifying that finished with Sainz beating Leclerc again.  :/  Is this gonna become the trend for Ferrari this season.  If so Leclerc would be asking where is the fast car that he was promised last year?  Lol.  It's gonna be memes galore if the team doesn't deiiver it for him.

And did he already sign a new contract extending his stay beyond 2026?  Next year with Hamilton around he'll surely be having a lot tougher time against Lewis Hamilton.  I could already see all the memes...

Anyway both Tsunoda and Alonso were impressive at quali.

And here it is...  They weigh in results with 4 fighters missing weight.  Cheesy  It shows that they don't really care about event as it's obv just a filler for the weekend before UFC 300.  All of these match ups I don't care for.  Allen vs Vettori would've been interesting if Vettori didn't pull out of the event due injury.  :/  But yeah, it is what it is.

Have fun with this even sports fans.  Grin

My picks...  Like for most of the events I kinda have an idea.  But for this one I have totally no idea for these matches and I didn't bother looking into them.  Most of my time online is spent hunting for airdrops lately.  Lolol.

^  Whoa there...  Lol.  Wdym beat Lewis Hamilton and win his first driver's championship?  Cheesy  Nothing of that sort is happening as long as Hamilton is around.  There was that one year with Nico Rosberg but that was about it.  Rosberg called it quits and ran with his tail between his legs.  Lol.

As for George Russell, the only reason why he's beating Hamilton this year is cos Hamilton has been sucking more than Russell is improving.  I think even Vettel could beat Russell with the same car at any given week.  But that's just me...
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ [POLL] FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 on: April 05, 2024, 01:04:48 PM
Three Spanish, two English, two German and one French team make up the Champions League quarter finals.

Over two legs, I expect Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and PSG to go through to the semi-finals. Here is the draw:

Tuesday 9th April
Arsenal vs Bayern Munich
Real Madrid vs Manchester City

Wednesday 10th April
Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona

All pretty good match ups across the board...  Prolly one of the best quarter finals I've seen as of late.  All great clubs, all great winners across Europe with the exception of PSG.  Cheesy  I mean it's a good club but mot really comparable with these other clubs.

Just looking at it, I think we shouldn't really write Bayern Munich off the board.  If you guys remember, Tuchel won the CL for Chelsea with an inferior squad.  He could do it again with Bayern imho.

Bayern to go thru and reach the semi finals is lined at 2.25.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: April 05, 2024, 12:45:31 PM
^  After Manchester United's loss to Chelsea, I think Ten Hag and his boys are currently so mad rn and they'll prolly try to beat the league leader with the best of their abilities in their next match this weekend.  And this is no ordinary club their up against...  It's Liverpool!  This is a huuuge game and one that they want to win to try and spoil their rival's title run.  I think they'd rather see City or Arsenal win the league than Liverpool.

Another thing about this match is it's in Old Trafford.  That should give United a slightly better chance than what the lines suggest.  Draw no bet at 3.45 for United...  Could be good.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 05, 2024, 12:28:19 PM
Bruno Guimaraes is likely to leave Newscastle as the club needs to get financial fair play in order.

Several teams are interested in the player including PSG, CITY and Arsenal.

Arsenal don't stop there, they seem to also be interested in Isak and Zikzee, actually at Bologna on Loan from Bayern

Bro wrong thread.  Grin

sebastian Vettel spoken to journalists today and admitted how he had been feeling over the past few weeks.

The German driver admitted that in recent days he has been in contact with Toto Wolff

But the news doesn't stop there, the driver has basically made it clear that he could return to racing in 2025 but it depends a lot on the level of the car he would be entrusted with

There is a place free at Mercedes during 2025 as Hamilton is leaving and for me if Vettel is remotely thinking in F1 he should do it with a Mercedes as I don't see any better option than Mercedes which has free slots from the teams running, the other 3 strong teams have their line up most likely fixed for the upcoming season. So it would be great to see Vettel back in driving a great car like Mercedes which I assume would be running a good performance.

If he doesn't get the second drive at Mercedes there's another option for him and it's Red Bull since Perez will be leaving at the end of the season if he isn't given a new contract.  I think if Horner stays as team principal then there's prolly some chance Vettel goes back to Red Bull.  And I def wouldn't mind it imho.  He'll prolly even do a lot better than Perez.

^  But it's a main event and a 5 rounder.  So I'd rather see that than being a three round undercard.  And it's gonna be a lot better for Whittaker if it's 5 rounds.  Grin  I'm rooting for him.  Hope he wins and he gets his title shot and rematch vs DDP.  It could be his last.  I'd be really surprised if he tries to go at it again if he loses vs Chim.

^  I don't think it's totally about not spoiling about his UFC run.  It's also about developing a fighter and taking care of him as he's one of the guys who have great potential to be a hall of famer type of guy and could be a great title holder.  And he's pretty good in interviews and press conferences too.  So he def has the whole package.

The other good thing about him is he doesn't need to create some bs persona like McGregor did to attract the crowd.  He could just be himself and the crowd will still like him.

Agree. Dana knows Bo has a massive potential so won't be throwing him against any really challenging opponent at this stage. When he called out Chimaev, he knew there was a zero chance of that happening. No match-maker with half a brain would set up two prospective fighters against eachother. But calling him out was a great marketing move.
As for Nickal's striking skills, he might not be there yet, but it's way easier for a wrestler to learn how to strike than the other way around.
Personality wise, I didn't like him at first, as it's a natural reaction to dislike fighters getting special treatment from the UFC, but he won me over with his natural confidence, hard work attitude and priorities in the right order.

And he's a humble guy.  It's hard not to like him.  Lol.

It's funny how the UFC has released all the promotional vids in YT days before the next event has even started.  Lolol.  Just shows how much of a filler it is.  Cheesy

Go enjoy it I guess...

^  Now I think the Layer Zero devs will be forced to do a better airdrop or at least something at par with Wormhole's airdrop.  Wink  They can't be stingy and do it like Polyhedra or even ignore the community like Stark did.  I'm starting to feel good about LZ now.  With the volume I put in there I think I should be good for at least the minimum amount.  And if not I will pledgd my allegiance to Wormhole and only that for my crosschain needs.  But maybe some Alexar or Squid Router would be good.  Cheesy

Anyway congrats to everybody who got the W airdrop.  Eat well guys.  Wink
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 04, 2024, 01:01:08 PM
Regardless of what is happening, I still expect and believe that bitcoin will continue to increase in price before and after the halving, meaning I remain bullish this April.

In just the first 4 days of April, we witnessed a decline in bitcoin, many people began to become pessimistic and thought that the bull season would soon end. But to me, this is a healthy and necessary adjustment to create stronger growth momentum. It is not yet time for the market to fall sharply again, bitcoin will rise from here and touch $80k before a sharp decline.

I'm with you but only because I'm looking purely at the chart and I'm not considering anything else but price action.  The daily chart still looks good imho even though it hasn't been able to break above around 73.7k USD since it hit that last month.  Weekly and monthly charts look a lot better and the red candle is really looking like just another normal correction.  Again imho.

And with the news of 2 billion USD worth of BTC to be sold, shouldn't everybody start selling down their bags by now?  If anything I think it's good news for the guys who are sidelined rn.

NIIIIIICE!!!  I honestly would love to see him get the second drive at Mercedes than the smug Alonso tbh...  And he'd be some sort of mentor for Mick Schumacher too which is ideal.  It was said that Vettel wanted Mick Schumacher to be his replacement after he had left and he was really fighting for this to happen.  But as we have already seen want happened, he was unsuccessful.

Damn.  If Horner and Newey leaves for Ferrari and Vettel returns in F1 as a Mercedes driver, I'd be rooting for both Ferrari and Mercedes.  Cheesy Cheesy
