yeah, no doubt. They sell high ranking accounts for spamming and bounty hunting on ico campaigns. I had my acct stolen and sold and got it back thanks to Themos. I'm glad they put in the merit system. That will make it a little harder for them.

On a positive note I was able to get the Linux wallet working and on testnet. Graham has done an outstanding job on them. He truly is a genius artist. If you get a free 10 mins then read the post mentioned by Karma. It explains a lot in terms of the delay and what their plans are moving forward. Guy's a class act. If you were curious on the coins situation he talked about it in detail:

From the conversations I have had with @coins101 he is happy to continue his Enterprise dealings and has recruited people to that effort that I have engaged with.  He will decide what level of engagement he wishes to have in the project going forward as we are clearly moving on. I do not know the reasons for his decisions but he is free to do what he wants and he assumes the responsibility of those actions.

Should he prove to not contribute and completely cease communication post-launch then the project naturally evolves without him and it becomes a piece of the Helium's early history. The loan he made is being held in escrow until he returns and he is receiving no payment for his first year of work on the project. As @teela said, please refrain from posting personal details about him or anyone else that wishes to remain private within the community. I consider this matter settled now as going forward we have evolved past the point of that early leadership dynamic."

They've got some screenshots of the wallet up on Slack. They're making super progress. Richy's devs are really bringing it.

No mining - it will be based on PIVX and released as a POS coin. Masternodes and possibly servicenodes. MNs will be 1000 HLM and servicenodes are yet to be determined on amount stored.

No exact date, but they have been targeting around 2-3 more weeks to get the chain up and stable. They've got some more dedicated devs to get this launched. It's a bummer that it has been delayed, but karma, graham and richy have kept plugging away at it. No one really knows if coins is involved anymore. I believe that may have been a major part of the delay, but I don't know for sure. He may be working behind the scenes on getting companies on board with the service nodes. If he'd chime in it would be nice. Regardless, karma is moving the boat along and it will launch.

It is now based on PIVX which is PoS. There will be no mining available or pools with HLM. The cost for a masternode is set currently at 1000 HLM. As of right now the only way to get HLM will be if you held SPR at the time of the airdrop or purchase coins when it launches at cryptopia.co.nz. I'm in the same boat and will need to purchase the coins for a MN. Latest news is on slack. https://onetrollbox.slack.com They'll be moving to Discord after the launch. They're currently testing and will launch shortly.

yes, HLM will be based on PIVX and will be POS not POW which means no mining. If you need the 1000 HLM to run a masternode and missed the airdrop (like me) you'll have to pick some up on cryptopia.co.nz when they launch.

Just so you all are aware and can have a voice there is a debate on the Slack channel on whether to move to PIVX or follow the DASH codebase. Currently, just about everyone has voted for PIVX. If you feel strongly either way then head over there and voice your opinion.

Brad, the airdrop happened some time last year. If you held SPR in a wallet you'd get the same HLM at some point. I missed the boat, too. I found out about this effort about a month late. The only way to get in would be to buy HLM on an exchange when they launch the coin. I'm hoping it won't be too high, because I really want some masternodes myself.

They've been ramping up with Graham's help. The latest updates have been encouraging. They are based off ox X11 and planned on D3s mining for coins. I don't think that has changed.

I think they are waiting on Dash evo to be released and then base it off of that. trollbox doesn't have any good info either. I hope you guys get a chance to burn up some more D3 time if this goes live one day.

You'll want to keep tabs on this one. Even though it may take a bit longer to release I think the wait will be worth it. There's more development resources being thrown at it now and they're working with some corporate partners on the service nodes. Most of what you'll find in bct is hundreds of pages of nutz, but that's what we come here for. We're all a little nutty and a little risky, but love this stuff.

i bet it's been tough on you guys hanging on to SPR for so long. I hope they release in this quarter. I'm interested in them personally and through my employer.The service nodes are an interesting concept and I hope they pan out.

Can you give us some idea what features or plans you have for this coin? What general improvements are you planning on implementing?

Karma's been on the slack channel a lot recently and has given us a lot of insight into the inner workings of the effort. He's fully committed to it and ensuring that Coins is as well. I don't think he would have pooled all his business resources into the effort unless he didn't feel that this was going to be worth it.
