141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 24, 2022, 05:28:44 AM
I agree to this. I noticed that before, a lot of people were saying that they were too late because the price had already hit $100, but they were wrong because the price hit more. It is not too late because we really do know where the price will reach, so what is really best is to invest what you can afford to lose, but as you can see, Bitcoin has a bright future. It is just a matter of where you bought it, how long you held it, and also if you can control your emotions when the price drops.

If you don't have huge capital to invest then DCA is the best strategy to invest (though it has its own pros and cons). Its never too early nor too late to invest in bitcoin, you just need to have a mind with which you have to invest. As far as future of Bitcoin is concerned its very much clear from what we have seen so far in last one decade.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 24, 2022, 05:18:51 AM
I don't see any point in teaching the kids about investment that will lead to greed because most of the kids that I know are really starting their own investment in Bitcoin. Teach them while they are young, so they can start to decide if they are into investing in crypto or not. My child is not yet big enough to learn this, so if she is at 10, that is the time I will introduce them, but not force them to learn it, but let them love it.

Can't agree more that it's not recommended to teach kids about bitcoin trading and investment unless they grow up and decides by themselves. What we can teach kids is the technology aspect of Bitcoin as they grow up. I am strongly against involving kids in crypto unless they are atleast 10, since there are many bad things also associated with use of crypto.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 23, 2022, 05:43:46 AM
I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I am not in crypto from its very days but read many times that people said its too late now to invest in bitcoin when it was at 100$ and 1000$. There is no certainty that current ATH is the last one and bitcoin can't cross that anymore. Imagine how would you feel if bitcoin reaches 100,000$ by current or next year. Just DYOR and invest.

It is very good what you are doing, my son who is 6 years old, he likes to read a lot, and I have talked to him about the economy, I tell him that he can do everything he wants, but that I would like him to learn to do accounts that he knows about taxes, that he knows how to do business, that this can be a fort that he can use, that I want him to give him the importance from his age that money must be earned with effort, work, dedication, that is good if he wants to be or non-professional, I will never force him to do anything, but if I want him to learn to have to make his own money, and the truth is he has taken it very well, of course he is a child, training is everything, and I think it goes in the values of each person know how to educate their children.

I think learning trading and investment at age of 6 is too early and will put burden on shoulders of kids. Bitcoin trading is very difficult to learn and understand even for adults. It's better we teach kids how to generate some constant stream of income from crypto other then trading that will help them in the long run.

This (taking a break) was suggested to him many months back, but he refused to listen. Anyway, he is angry with the BCCI guys and now Ganguly and Shah doesn't want to antagonize him further. As of now, Kohli has at least 3-4 years of international cricket left with him. And maybe another 2-3 years of IPL after that. He remains as the Indian cricketer with the maximum market value. Others (Rohit, Bumrah, Shami.etc) are far behind. But sooner or later, he need to address the issue of his current poor form.

I would say with current form he can only play 1 to 2 years in international cricket, as bcci won't afford such batsmen in there line-up. I agree he has market value because of many reasons but we have to admit his value as a batsman has gone down to zero.

The PCB has appointed some of their experts to rectify his bowling action and even though they have not mentioned any specific names the good news is that Muhammad Hasnain changed his bowling action and PCB has informed ICC about the changes and now they are waiting for the ICC to conduct another test to check the legality and once it is clear he will be back playing International Cricket.

After some digging, Moises Henriques is the person who first accused Muhammad Hasnain for chucking during the BBL and the test conducted showed that he was extending his elbow beyond the legal limit and now he changed his action and hopefully he will be able to bowl at the same pace.

I remember Moises saying to Hasnain, nice throw. Hasnain was too good in BBL season where he was reported. I don't know how a batsman can recognise that a bowler action is illegal. The real challenge for Hasnain is to maintain his old pace with new bowling action.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 23, 2022, 03:50:16 AM

Not just with football, but with every sport other than cricket. None of the other sports allow foreigners to represent a "national" team. In case of sports like basketball, they even have a condition that there should be only one naturalized citizen in the entire squad and the remaining members should be born as citizens of that particular country. And then in cricket we have a bunch of Indians claiming that they are Qataris and a bunch of Pakistanis claiming that they are Romanians. Just makes cricket a laughing stock in front of the global sports lovers.

Cricket no doubt has become a joke because of such hilarious policies from ICC. Teams from USA, Canada, UAE are 100% made up of expats while teams with native players are suffering. I wish some icc official can read this thread and see what ordinary cricket enthusiasts think about icc policies.

LOL... the so called ICC officials won't care even if by some miracle they come across this thread. All they care about is money. Greg Barclay is the current chairman of the International Cricket Council. And do you know what is his connection to cricket? Nothing. He is a businessmen who has never played cricket. The same can be said about most of the other ICC board members. And given this, do you really expect them to do something good for cricket, or at least listen to the cricket fans? Personally, I don't.

If they are businessman then they should know how to increase the business i.e. grow business which is the only way cricket can get more money. What's the criteria of selecting ICC top officials, anyone in the world can become part of ICC executive body or there is some criteria for it.

The expectations were too high for Mumbai India, after watching their last match i came to conclusion that they were having a new team literally except for a couple of other players and their main stay Rohit Sharma is in terrible form throughout this season and without a good start the team is struggling. Dhoni showed his class once again and the way in which he was able to control the match till the final ball is a skill in itself.

Both MI and CSK are in terrible situation in this season. CSK won from MI doesn't mean they are a better team in this season. If they both continued in this manner then it will surely means that IPL will be shifted back to 8 teams. Rohit needs a team to perform and he doesn't have that unfortunately.

I have 2 boys, a 6 year old boy and a 2.5 year old boy.  They are really too small to be aware of the security risks.  Instead, I shared my wife's bitcoin tutorial and she deals both P2P on binance. Lol,  Bitcoin is their future, surely when they have enough thinking and awareness, me or my wife will educate them about bitcoin.
Regarding the obligations, responsibilities and feelings of parents, they certainly always want their children to have the best with bitcoin.

Yes that the right approach. For kids it's too risky to bandle wild fire of Bitcoin, IMO kids will get to know about this technology with time. We don't need to force them to learn this from very early age. If we teach them about bitcoin from very early stage they may fell victim of wrong usage of crypto.

The 155 runs opening stand between butler and Devdutt Padikkal has placed RR in very good position as they have finished there innings on 222 runs and lost just 2 wickets. Butler has also scored century in his match against KKR, he is having ipl of his life. DC have to work hard to get this.

This happened in February when Mohammad Hasnain was playing in the BBL when his bowling action was reported by the umpires and the test took place in Lahore also found that he is flexing beyond 15 degree. I have seen his clips and i do not see that he was bending the elbow but bio mechanics test conducted says that he is flexing beyond that.

Good thing is that the PCB has appointed someone to rectify his bowling action and i wish to see him make a great comeback.

He has great pace Muhammad Hasnain and with time he has the capability to produce more good deliveries. Its good that pcb is working hard to correct his bowling action and bring him back in international cricket. Do you who is working with hasnain to rectify his bowling action?

I really don't think that Kohli want to concentrate on tests. He is a good test player, but why should he detach himself from all the glamor and blitz of T20? Players resigning from other formats to focus on test cricket is a thing of the past. There is too much money available in franchise T20 to make that option really unattractive. On top of that, the popularity of test cricket is going down with every passing year. In the long term, if he concentrate only in test format, Kohli's market value will decrease and his revenue from various endorsements will go down.

Original format of cricket is test but with time people lost interest in test as ODI and now T20 are introduced. I don't think the future of cricket is in test but in T20 as its interesting for people due to its shorter duration and also pays good money to players. Kohli need break from cricket ASAP to gain its form.

have kid right now and still under 1 years old and I hope he can be my successor at the future and most successful than what my achievement with cryptocurrency. I don't ask my children keep try with bitcoin and altcoin investment but also I give him freedom what kind business he want and I don't push my kid keep consistent with bitcoin and altcoin only, depending with my kind when adult which one site business he want, does like with bitcoin and altcoin as his business or looking another business for income earning.

Kids must have freedom of not only there career when they grow up but also to fully enjoy there childhood. If you teach kid how to use bitcoin from very young age then there are chances they may end up going to gambling or other adult sites from very young age. Let your child grow up and they will get to know about this technology with time.

Actually, if this is not rigged, which I really think it's not.
I think not only Pakistan but all the other countries should really give a lot more importance to their players' bowling action. And I really think that if this is taken care of from the start of the career of a bowler in the future none of the bowlers will have to end their career because of wrong bowling action. Even though there might be a lot of talking about this system being rigged I think it is not.

Pakistan is also affected because they have a history of producing pace bowlers that bowl around 150 or above. So PCB has important role in checking the bowling action of its pacers from very early days when action can be corrected with little effort. I don't think PCB has much resources to do that though.

Suggestions are coming for Kohli from everywhere due to his poor run of form.  This time piece of advice coming from former head coach.

Everyone raising eyebrows because he's not scoring any century, almost 100 matches across all format (including IPL), having said that despite 2-3 poor years his numbers still look amazing. Tells you lot about his high standards.

Seriously that's a worthy advice of taking break. His stats may be outstanding but we have to admit that he is out of form for quite a while. Sometimes taking a break and returning back helps you alot. I remember inzamam ul haq had a bad patch in 2003, he was given a break and he came back much stronger for rest of his career.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 21, 2022, 05:38:23 AM

Why should anyone play cricket, if they don't have any interest? I don't want to make assumptions. Yes.. they got out for just 21 runs. But for most of the players, it was their first international cricket match. The test nations are not much better either? Remember the match between West Indies and England in 2019, when the former got blown away for just 45 runs? They can improve their game only with more experience and we should not judge them based on just one match. Getting out for 21 runs, with a team that is 100% Arab is more preferable than scoring 210 runs with a team that is comprised entirely of foreigners.

That's what icc needs to think which they are not. There are teams like Uganda also which have 100% native players, icc must give more funds to such associate teams rather then wasting money on team of expats. Countries with team of expats are rich and influential that's why icc don't bother much about this aspect.

I said that Delhi will win that match. My prediction is correct of that particular match. Any way last match Delhi make good roll in the power play. They made 80 runs from first six over which makes them easier to win the match.

Today we will have one another match between Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings. In this regard what is prediction who will won the match?

You only made a prediction or placed some bet on DC also? Congrats if you have won the bet. As fa's as today's MI and CSK match is concerned, both teams performance is awful. IPL management should reconsider there decision of increasing there teams to 10 as last two teams are no where in competition.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 19, 2022, 11:51:37 AM
The tournament is prolonged for unnecessary reason, now we are having one match per day. More matches can be scheduled per day to finish the tournament in short time.

I agree with you. Unnecessary reasons IPL management has extended the time of IPL. At least two matches could be held every day. I don't know why IPL management did it. The IPL will be held for about two months seasons this season. It will become very boring. There was a need to focus on this aspect of management.

It will be more exciting and fun to watch a 20 days or a month long IPL then 2 months long IPL. Even world  cup won't take that much duration. For 2 months all international cricket is stopped for IPL, icc must have a look on that aspect also.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 19, 2022, 08:00:36 AM
If an Indian or Pakistani player is not fortunate enough to get selected for his national team, then he always have the option of playing for some of the franchise T20 teams that are located outside his country. The solution is not to play for another national team. Right now, more than 50% of the "national" teams in cricket are entirely made up of foreigners (especially those in Europe and the GCC region). Obviously the player always has the option of undergoing naturalization and getting the passport from his newly adopted country. But for that he need to wait for a few years. Those who play for GCC right now doesn't even have a valid visa.

One reason is that cricket is not liked by majority of the world, this is clear from participation of countries in cricket. Test and ODI take too much time to complete that's why people don't like it. T20 is exciting but it will take some time. Only people migrating from south Asia are introducing cricket to country where they are migrating.
