141  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 10, 2023, 02:34:32 PM
Yeah just having money doest make any sense unless you have no idea what to with it. There are also peeps who are exactly opposite to this. They have great ideas and passion but no money at all who end up doing things that they are not supposed to do: for example, work in corporate world instead of chasing their dreams that could have been biggest business idea. All because they had no money. So what that guy said was entirely true. Let us I am scientist and I have great breakhthrough on some disease but unfortunately I dont have funding then all I can do is wait for the funds to get raised or simply sell my patent to big whales in the market. That is what I can do if I have idea or solution but NO money. I am definitely correlating with the entire idea of your conversation with that guy because thats the hard truth.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 10, 2023, 01:56:26 PM
Basically we are just talking about staking our crypto? I dont see anything new here because staking our crypto is an entire new universe and business model out there. Im not sure what benefit a user can get from staking on a casino but as far as I have seen only freebitco is the one I have seen coming up with their premium account idea. At least one can stake money their and get lot of freebies back. They have perfect staking model for it and it benefits both users and entity itself. But see the difference between what have you explained and the freebitco staking model. They are entirely different and unmatched. Staking already exists everywhere but not all casinos offer them the perfect way.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: a fun little economics thing to try on: December 10, 2023, 12:47:42 PM
This must be from the countries where minimum wages are settled to the per hour income however there are countries where the minimum wage is even lower. Unfortunately, when we walk through the store they do not differentiate between the 15/hour and 150/hour earners, both pay the same rate for everything. This void is what is disturbing all the time. Many price tags can come from the above-average wagering requirement, meaning they are a bit high for the low or minimum-wage guy.

In my country, it is even worse. You get based on what skills you have. We have the labor categories, blue collar, and white collar categories. Everybody earns a different income. The issue is even the white-collar guys are not earning enough, so just imagine what might be the condition of blue-collar to labor zone earners?

I think this is a very detailed discussion topic. That is why we ended up making long economic books to understand it thoroughly. The OP maths is correct but it doesn't apply equally everywhere.
144  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 09, 2023, 07:10:26 PM
It is true that some of us are getting a lot more than others, that's not really a new thing to learn, I mean I do not know what it is at the very bottom, but I know that if I keep claiming then I will get less and less from the faucet, and if I keep gambling then I am going to keep getting more and more.

This is why it's quite important to keep in mind that we are going to end up with different screens for everyone, you are not going to get the same amount as someone ese who gambled way different than you. If these people are newbies or people who are new to the website or even old but kept on claiming all the time, it is true that they are going to get much less than us. I have no data about how low, but much lower than us for sure.

Yeah it is nothing big deal because we get back what we deserve. I consider increased base prizes as result of wagering higher amounts is nothing but rake-back on the freebitco. Inhere it is infact more powerful since increase in base prize remains fairly long time and can give us back lot of satoshi per wagered value. Unlike other casinos where we only get x% in rakeback of the wagered amount. Its just one time. Well to believe this works one definitely needs to understand how wagering works at freebitco. Apart from this they also push us with RP system and LT system. Thats added bonus and a chance to win jackpot amounts. Nothing goes to waste here.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling All Fiat In Bank For BTC? on: December 09, 2023, 06:24:29 PM
There is no right and wrong in this one. It all depends on how the investor manages it. If I am going to buy Bitcoin  then that would be some share of my salary or any extra income that I might be earning. It is never full share of my salary or the other income. That way I am keeping it simple as well as easy to manage. This doesnt compromise my Bitcoin and Fiat but it balances out both.

If you think putting everything into Bitcoin can make it simple then personally I feel it risky one. Bitcoin is highly volatile. It may preserve the number of Bitcoin but it wont preserve its fiat value all the time. Now its upto the perspective of investors whether they are counting their money in fiat or crypto while doing the purchases.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: I spoken with very old and smart person. About economy and future on: December 09, 2023, 05:34:43 PM
Its like more or less taking winning sides and moving further with their development. Have you ever seen how China has taken sides of various countries. To develop a strategic location for import and export they tried to exchange the deal with Sri Lanka, later they also had many dealings with Pakistan with the intention to crush Indian dealings by forcing them to attack India too.

Everything had one point in common, China wanted to have long running plan to crush emerging countries around and make money out of it. I mean its like if you cant win the race then just end the competitors. Isnt it?

Thats the smell we are seeing here. The Putin and China, deadly combination ever. One is strongest player while other is strategic partner. Definitely the duo can take things to next level or just destroy the entire plan.
147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 07, 2023, 04:07:30 PM
To be honest, it's hard to determine casino's trustworthiness by only looking at reviews. Many people post a negative review if they lose and don't profit from casino and that's wrong, that doesn't make casino a scam company. If casino pays on time and has no technical problems with good customer support and response time, then they deserve positive reviews but people rarely consider these criterias.
Critic reviews and user reviews do help to a certain extent(References), but your own review is what should matter the most. You should invest small amounts initially and check if you are satisfied with all aspects of the crypto gambling site that you are interested in.

If you are satisfied, you should proceed to invest bigger amounts. If not, you should avoid the site. Simple!

Just exactly something that I love to do when I am assessing any website that has money in it. For gambling world things are obviously very critical. The money flows like river, unstoppable if we dont control ourselves. So on top of this if we are getting involved with a casino that has reputation from the references but later it came down to fake one then no one is responsible for this but we ourselves. The references are just for referring or to get an outline of something. But I am of a logic where we should test things ourselves and then only go for investing.

Roobet was one of the top most in my list since beginning because I believed in it after investing over the course of time and getting back what I deserved. Well the list is obviously grown now but yeah thats the way it shall work for everybody.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with entropy (Chaos) on: December 07, 2023, 03:07:11 PM
The entropy is good until we lose most of the money, lose our heads, and jump in to take control of the bot. The problem is never with the bots, but it is either the house edge or the user who has invested money. The bots will follow the protocol, however, if someone weak is seeing their balance is draining below 50% then they might get unstable emotionally. They could sometimes interfere with the bets and destroy the good streak or the hit coming up.

I am not using the bots but I am applying the same strategy. May be everyone has been through the same strategy all the time, you know that increase the bet amount with a certain % when we are losing, then double it when we lose by X% and shit. However, sometimes if a losing streak is coming then it is coming no matter what.

I have lost more than enough once on the freebitco multiplier, it took me couple of weeks courage to put everything together and then start wagering again. LOLZ
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 07, 2023, 01:55:18 PM
When I logged into my account today to study some bets for the next round of the Portuguese and Brazilian championships, I came across the button: Luis Suaréz
I thought it was a betting promotion, since Suaréz is playing for Grêmio - Brazil, but no, he's the new ambassador for Duelbits  Grin

The company is still going strong with its campaigns and advertising
Was the fact that he was playing in Brazil a determining factor? To further promote Duelbits in the country?

interesting
yes probably a strategy by duelbits to promote the website in Brazil
betting houses and sports betting was legalized a couple years ago and we're seeing lots of new websites and ads about it in Brazil nowadays.

interesting to see them willing to grow their presence in Brazil

any idea why they chose Suaréz instead of a more famous player? simply money?

Congratulations to Duelbits. I think having a professional player from a renowned sports game is just amazing and the best Christmas gift ever one can receive. It tells the tale of a good-loaded bag that was handed over to the buddy. Haha. Well, whatever the contract may be, it tells us Duelbits is making a big difference with such partnerships. They want the world to know we exist and that we are a brand. A really astonishing way to publish the online existence into the real world. I hope that Dulebits will receive an increased number of fanbases with this contract. At least Saurez fans might just join us and start playing on the Duelbits. Plus currently, we have Christmas trivia underway which is again very welcoming for such new sign-ups.

Brazil or other counties around, we welcome everyone. Hope so this become strong brand value in the near future, more than what they have achieved until now.

I'm still getting 100... you should read properly what I'm posting Smiley
I have read your post properly. You are getting 20× of the base reward, which is 100 Satoshi now. But the base reward will be 4 Satoshi if Bitcoin price reaches above $44.5k. And we will receive up to 76 Satoshi extra beside the base reward. In that case, you will start receiving 80 Satoshi instead of the 100 Satoshi. You can verify it when the price of Bitcoin will be $44.5k or above.

I was just reading this forum for a while, because i was looking for a complete set of mechanics description on how everything works and what the thresholds are.
Here is the main reason which has reduced your base reward of the hourly faucet. You can increase it by playing the multiply BTC game or by buying tickets.

~snip~ users with a low ratio of wagering to free winnings that get the low wagering reduction.

I am still waiting for my base rewards to grow even after I am wagering lot of money since couple of months now. Im not sure how much we need to wager until I can increase the base reward by let us say 80% or something. The base reward is currently at 31% for free roll also. That is never changing for me. The highest I have seen is 52% in my case when I had purchased premium membership for the first time. I am still premium but it has not affected my base price now, its actually dropping. I think increased price is fighting factor here. I am trying to wager a lot but somehow I am losing the streak or something and base rewards keep going down.

I think I should spin my WOF too before the prices go up even more and I end up losing money. Any suggestions on that front or you guys are waiting to spin yours.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold is up to new ATH, silver is up, BITCOIN IS BACK BABY!!! on: December 06, 2023, 03:17:03 PM
Yeah the buy time is gone now we have entered in bullish run already but there could be a chance real soon. If Bitcoin price makes a correction then there could be quick buy chance. However, no one is going to be very sure when this will happen. I am considering to buy small portion even at this rate just because I think it could pump to new ATH as to what we seen back in 2017-18. However, this is not advisable to others as long as they are ready to take their own risks. Smiley
But we have come to the range where new opportunities are going to open soon. So yeah OP I feel your energy and its gonna be intense by the end of December month. Lets brace for big pumps.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024 PROGRESS REPORT on: December 05, 2023, 03:32:32 PM
“The Past Milestones”, the index is just amazing and it’s making me read the book already. This is definitely going to be detailed book considering the index titles from domain registration to how it started with email communications, yeah that gives me good insight about this book and what is expected from it. I think we are going to have very nice book soon just because of one active and enthusiastic member.

Just a reminder, they also have a raffle for players that will be able to complete at least 20 gift boxes out of 24, so if you are planning to partake, secure a box within 5 days from now.

Damn it, I think I am going to miss this for sure. There are so many raffles underway on various sites making me go crazy as to where to play. I think I will try my luck on the following two days to see if I can catch some tickets and get an entry with prize draw.

The unknown error was flashed to me as well. However I am against use of VPN or TOR stuff so I never tried that to be honest. My error was cleaned after I cleared all the caches and cookies from my browser. Had deep cleaning of the same with AVG and after restoring the browser things were smooth. I am not techy but that should help. Sometimes simple steps can resolve everything. Just try it and if someone see positive results then please mention back so that others can refer it as help in the future. Smiley
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions - are we living in stone age? :( on: December 04, 2023, 05:40:49 PM
If we are using bitcoin for daily transactions then yeah it’s gonna be big problem whenever Bitcoin is within high price range. I mean pick any history chapter (prices) then we will see the increased trend of higher fees. I don’t find it exciting anymore as it’s just the usual day when we see higher price per sats or bitcoin as whole.

I don’t know, I am simply considering saving or holding my bitcoin just like the other days. If I really want to transact for something then I could do it with low fees and wait for the transaction to go through. Many wallets have customised fees and it can be done RBF just in case it gets stuck.

Just hypothetical solution:
What if there is provision where sender OR buyer can share 50%-50% fees? This can relive the burden on one peer by distributing it between two. Moreover, there should be option to slide the % between two. If the opposite party agrees they could take up all the fees or have more share on their end.
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 04, 2023, 03:37:54 PM
Find it strange that no one has mentioned, that Roobet is running their Christmas event - https://roobet.com/raffle/frosty-flipping-fortune.

Each day we have a chance to open a snow globe and test our luck. Even though it is said that prize is based on wager amount during last day, I've opened mine without having wagered for a long time. Got 1 cent Smiley and I was offered to flip a coin to double it.

Merry Christmas in advance. I think this is really good from Roobet and I believe unique as compared to what we had last year. Last year the ticket system was introduced and the level was little harder to achieve as compared to what we see today. The current one is like freebie on the rocks!! You can’t wait for each day to open it up and see what you have got back. It’s a nice surprise or rain shower from Roobet to gain more as rakeback on our wagering. I think this good both ways that is for Roobet who will be receiving lot of traffic with increased wagering. On the other hand for users it’s an opportunity to wager more and gain more in return.

The Twitter message was something astonishing and no casino give back so much. Just Cool to see one of the casino where I registered since beginning. Keep it up guys!
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 10:52:30 AM
That’s why we gamblers need a kill switch when our loses go above our budget. That can come only with one thing and that’s: self control. We can not deny the fact that most of the gamblers who are losing money are actually losing their heads to those red lines. We can not expect high returns everytime we gamble online, not everyday is ours. If we are losing then someone is winning and vice versa is also true. The only thing that can make use good gambler is to self aware about the limits. I have mentioned this many times, I am usually closing the Website immediately if I’m getting losses in a long streak. I know that’s the only exit strategy when we work online. More than that it is always important to keep only fixed amount of money on casinos while starting a gameplay. This helps to restrict (a little) to go for second round if we have lost it all.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: December 03, 2023, 06:06:08 PM
The airdrop? Man that will cause massive inflation in the entire country leading to even worst situation than the current one. You do realise if peeps are not paying rents or bills then the government is actually getting that debt burden. If they are not able to pay the bills then they are not even in the proper tax slots. This means all the burden is getting built on the shoulders of government. Now if we are going have an airdrop then seriously it will be worst idea. In the covid stimulus packages were given because the entire world was halted at one page and it came under emergency funding too. The current situation needs push towards industries and businesses creating more employment. This will help peeps to get on their feet’s, they will pay the taxes and money circulation will stabilise the situation. I think enough with the spoon feeding stuff, it’s as nasty as easy it is.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 03, 2023, 05:11:25 PM
Yeah, I think what we earn should only be known by you, your wife and parents, that’s all. Lolz. I’m not sure what’s the trust status overseas but these would be the peeps with whom I would share my holdings and no one else. There is really no point in flaunting our wealth with anyone. We earn it, we should just spend it for ourselves and on our family. Things we earn can only be trusted with them as they are closest soul to us who understand the importance of that wealth and they have no ego or jealousy against how much I am earning or saving. They know very well I’m doing it for them, for the family well being. I think that is pretty well settled and one can actually nominate them in case of emergencies so that wealth can be safely transferred.

The example that is mentioned shows the person trusted relatives. Well, anyone outside family with any close relationship is always a risk to be honest. Better earn, invest and save with full confidence.

If we are in Bitcoin then it is most stupidest thing to expose about Bitcoin holding as it destroys the whole purpose of anonymous nature of Bitcoin.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: ROLR.IO 🎲 | The World's Private Casino 🎰 on: December 03, 2023, 04:32:55 PM
There's a 75 free spin on first deposit. That's great but can you please minimize the wagering requirements? Right now FS will have a 40x wagering which is a bit higher. I tried one last month with same requirements and ended up winning nothing lol.

Hmm, you guys must be playing on good casinos. The lowest I have seen is 40x only, not sure who is offering around 20x. Even for a site like freebitco if I am availing the Active Bonus then I have to wager 25x the amount of Bonus that I am going to claim plus I have to sacrifice an equivalent amount of satoshi/btc from my wallet. That ends up with a huge multiplier wagering requirement.

I have read articles that casinos do this so that they can avoid any sort of scams or money laundering activities. However, it is just too much, and most of the time we are losing our money just like that.

I can read that we have a 7% discount for Bitcointalk members, which could end up in our profit margin but it is still a huge requirement.

Well, its a new casino and hope we will see more promotional activities on the forum from your end soon. All the very best guys.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Paradox of Privacy and Decentralization: Banning Mixers on Bitcointalk.org on: December 03, 2023, 03:22:24 PM
I think Satoshi Nakomoto would just consider this as good approach. The mixers are getting banned because of valid reason. Forum does allow own hearts towards technology that is supportive and meant for Bitcoin escalation. However, peeps are not using it for the way it is meant. Most of the services came under the radar of regulatory bodies that found illegal activities underway. Now I think we don’t need to explain in detail what these are and for what they are being used but prime result was money laundering. I’m sure theymos has taken serious action against these services considering any of them could be involved with such activity. Now we do not want forum quality drop or get serious flags just because our forum is allowing them to advertise. That’s what Satoshi might have thought.
