1141  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter could launch in-app ‘coins’ to help creators make money on: January 14, 2023, 05:01:05 PM
Quote
They're reporting twitters proposed internal currency coins feature will not be crypto based. Which is interesting development. I think most of us expected dogecoin support. Or something similar. There have been a few previous leaks that this was coming. Although unfortunately the sources were apparently deleted before anything more than a few unconfirmed screen caps could be recorded.

It's neither interesting nor surprising to see they are not going to use the doge or crypto coins for the payment purpose because it's "we" who want to see everything digitalised with the crypto currencies. We are into crypto all the time and thats we think it should have been the crypto taking the payment processor place. But the question is why? Just why that matters considering twitter is not even closely related to the crypto neither it is the agenda for them to think about it.

Just because Elon is involved into it does not mean we need doge dream come true!
1142  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 13, 2023, 06:53:03 PM
For the multiply I played 22.000 Satoshi during the 4x Reward points promotion and in wagered amount was almost 500.000 Satoshi but I got a Golden Ticket because I had gambled a bit before,I have about 11 GT tickets so far and only from wagering.

I get one more GT too during the last x4 promo. Now I think I will play all-in and bet on BTC $20k-22.5k range. I think chances are 50/50, as there are still many days to the end of month and all may happen (even that we will go above 22.5...). Let's think positive Wink

Apparently there is high chance that we will end up with that slot. Bitcoin has already started it's up surge and what one can read from the speculation threads bitcoin may surpass this window. But let's just be cool about it and do not over estimate the values considering the trends that we have seen for the bitcoin.

About the promo, you should have bet or wagered during the yesterdays flash promo of 6 hours. It was giving away freebies like never before. I just hope they increase the volume of those flash promo 3 times a week or daily would be remarkable surprise.  Tongue Anyways, freebitcoin is site which is keeping us stick to it all the time due to such good promo's.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone send 4 BTC to Satoshi (Genesis block) on: January 13, 2023, 04:58:51 PM
It is possible that they messed up and were trying to actually send the 0.00525500BTC amount to that address which is about 90 bucks but they set that amount to the change and the change (4BTC) to Genesis address which already contains 22.57BTC!

P.S. coins sent there are not burnt though, Satoshi may some day decide to spend them Wink

That’s horrible mistake then. Lolz. I think there might be speculations now that it’s Satoshi only who is operating from other address and it may happen they are working on something else. Can’t wait to see something like that being discussed now. It could be possible that someone is too rich and just had some work with Satoshi and they paid then the fees. Anyway that is too too wide assumption. But who knows, in the current situation it looks anything is possible.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing on: January 12, 2023, 08:20:06 AM
Good that you shared your experience here. It will help others to stay away from this project and any other project which are working based on the impersonating way of scamming peeps. These projects do not last for very long time and could end up loosing the value right after the launch. Sadly, many peeps are victimized by the time it is open to the community that it's a scam.

I hope you have not lost too much money. These things keep happening in the crypto, does not matter how much more efforts you take to be cautious. Sometime we get carried away with it.

Only those who are keeping their investments limited to the known projects and bitcoin are happy in the crypto market.
1145  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 12, 2023, 07:42:37 AM
Wow, the Flash Promo is just breath taking. You can actually end up earning pretty good amount of WOF, LT, RP, Sat's, and even GT's. This is good for the peeps who are wagering at good rates. Anyways good to see the segregation done as per the Wagering Amount. Tier 3, most likely its easy for many peeps to wager 0.05 btc just like considering we keep seeing list of daily jackpot winners and their wagering amounts. Im impressed, how much freebitcoin is going to give us back? Even the proper gambling site won't be doing that. Ahh, this time I am going to miss it because I tried wagering lot of times, it's just not my thing but flash promo is really habitual.  Tongue

And obviously all of the Arts were Fantastic. Keep it up guys.

1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basically All Small Cap Staking Coins Had this problem on: January 11, 2023, 05:41:17 PM
Yeah the small caps. The owners will always get huge share of the staking and thus control the whole dam economy of the coin. They will claim that everything is decentralized but when it comes to the staking power through Pos, everything is exactly opposite of that. I mean it is same riddle as that of attacking the bitcoin hash network with more than 51% of hashing power and be able to change every transaction or have control over the same. This is easier in the PoS because your stakes are decided based on how much coins are in the possession. Ideally, owners would go and posses more than enough to control the whole thing. I think its definitely easy way to lure peeps into fakism. Stay alert.
1148  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 11, 2023, 04:53:06 PM
Use it like normal currency/asset. Do not overthink about the bitcoin and we are good to go for it. Peeps are putting too much or expecting a lot from the bitcoin in terms of it's use case and it's prices really. They should stop doing that otherwise they will loose the hope of using bitcoin just because it does not met their expectations. They leave bitcoin too early in the process and do not even profit from the hodling. That is the issue and reverse is the mantra for success if you are using the bitcoin. The only magical word that you can hear about it is, "Hodl". The more you do it the more success you will have from the bitcoin. Keep investing, do not expect millions in returns in 7 days.  Cheesy

If the platform allow its customers to set 2fa then it's the customer's fault if he doesn't use it then a hacker get access to his device and steal his passwords. You can't blame the platform for the user's carelessness.
2fa serves as a mean to protect your account against breaches from the user's side. It has nothing to do with the platform's security.
Most users are reckless, this is why I believe such feature must be mandatory, for their own interest.
People should consider to use 2FA in correctly way, if you're install the 2FA on the same device you're used to access the site, it's kill the purpose of 2FA. 2FA need to be installed on different device since you're want to prevent the malicious/malware that infected your device can't know the 2FA code. If it's installed on the same device, they can spy the code and able to access your account.

Actually peeps should start using the 2FA in first place. Many of them do not want to use it because they dont feel the need of same which amuses me. If we have that tech around then use it peeps, it's for our own security. Imagine being in the situation where you end up with high class winnings and the money is just right there to be gambled further but you are worried about it all the time because someone might just steal it from the account. With just a passwords it would be easy to get in, with 2FA it's almost next to impossible.

Anyways, it doesnt matter if the 2FA app is on the same device or not. You can always have additional security such as hidden apps, app locks and most importantly everyone has the main screen lock.

Those are lot of locks mate to keep it altogether.

Nice rewards from WoF's spins rolls today. That is the ideal results in my opinion: few lottery tickets, average number of RPs and a lot of sweet satoshis! 5000 satoshis prize and 500 RPs prize in 45 spins. Really good, I was waiting for that since a long time already, but it has finally come!

Here is my winning to make you feel more PROUD about your winnings.
(Your spins 45
My Spins 96)

You won double the prizes as compared to what I have earned if we combine the RP and Sats reward togther.
This does mean that luck plays a big role in this one.  Grin

Anyways, I am still happy with what I have earned because I am growing my account since couple of years now. I have kept my patience level to 100%. I dont sell a sats or rp from my account these days. It's growing slowly & I am loving it!  Thanks to freebitcoin Wink

My Sats: 1770
My RP: 1560
My Lott: 150
GT: 00
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are responsible for the bear run on: January 10, 2023, 04:43:40 PM
In general we all are responsible for the bearish trend. Who else gonna take the responsibility anyways. This is deeply connected cycle amongst everyone. Riches go crazy few times a year, they buy bulk they sell in bulk and give rise to those FOMO reactions.

This year, there were various aggregators for this reaction including the one in OP. Though bitcoin always gets up pretty quickly then also it remained dead cold this year due to one event after another kept coming pretty badly. This will definitely take lot of time to recover.
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Failure of Exchnages can never be that of Bitcoin. on: January 10, 2023, 03:22:07 PM
Ahh, we don’t combine these two and should not even care about it. Considering the fact that we lost billions of dollars from the exchangers, we should keep that matter as it is and to the door steps of exchangers. It’s just making the bitcoin look worse because whenever some Hack happens, they will say bitcoin were stolen, this much worth bitcoin lost, this much worth bitcoins are in the possession etc etc. These are the statements we would hear in the negative way and make it go down. Hope so we don’t make it obvious to connect the two all the time.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Businesses That Accept Bitcoin Attract New Customers and Sales on: January 10, 2023, 01:27:32 PM
I like the fact that you are convincing everyone for accepting the payment in bitcoin which is could and community is trying hard to achieve that level as well. However, there is one catch. Not every person is lucky enough to accept the payments or pay the payment in bitcoin based on the geolocation. Everything is different country to country considering the fact some governments have accepted the bitcoins with open arms while some of them are trying hard to get rid of bitcoins. I would be little on back foot if my government is asking to pay me 30% flat taxes on any crypto transactions. But those who doesn’t have such restrictions shall continue to accept the payments in bitcoin all the time.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Tesla Shareholder Mounts a Rebellion Against Elon Musk on: January 10, 2023, 01:11:09 PM
Why not? He must be pissed with the actions of Elon Musk and how he reacts to everything around him. It is definitely saddens when a billionaire who could do miracles acts like this, the childish play really. Imagine one day different shareholders selling out his company’s share, it can put the company as whole in jeopardy. Yes he has money but he has money in every sector and when it comes down to the businesses which are publicly listed could destroy the whole economy. I believe Elon should really take these things seriously. Like way seriously!
1155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukrainians hijacks Russian Bitcoin, Donates it to Kyiv Charity on: January 08, 2023, 01:30:12 PM
You guys are happy about this ?
Man stole the bitcoins from the master wallet. Are we even hearing this right? All the time we talk about bitcoin Privacy and how it is safe with the private keys, this tech that tech and we ar enig worried about how Alex did the job to steal money from wallet and that too embedded in the deep web? Wow, are we drifting away from the main principles of using bitcoin. Never thought we will also see such news and come to conclusion that everything was just illusion about the security of bitcoin.

1157  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 08, 2023, 09:58:23 AM
<snip>
Since most of the trusted gambling sites are centralized like Roobet, we need to deposit some money on the gambling site and therefore it is always better to have additional layer for security like 2fa.
Security feature like 2fa is always very useful for accounts that are related to money and sensitive information. Thus, a site like Roobet (a casino fits that).
However, 2fa is most of the time a preference. It will be depending on the user if he/she wants to maximize the account security that Roobet is offering. Personally, I would like to have that on transactions like withdrawals.

I think feature like 2fa should not be made mandatory and should be keep as an optional. Those who want to implement they can have this option while others who are happy with additional security, let them how they want to control the account.

There are gamblers who have very less funds on the gambling sites and others who may not want the hassle of 2fa, let them how they want to operate their account.

Perhaps having a feature like that should be mandatory considering the fact that we are getting brut forced many times. Look at the 2022, so many attacks on highly secured exchangers, yet they failed to overcome the hackers and gave away the money and personal data just like that. Whether it is hospital in Romania or India, OR its a gambling site, we should have the additional security measures up and running all the time.

In fact for small gamblers it should be mandatory because we already have less funds and they would be viable for stealing without security. Could be oouch movement for us to see them go.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you change your name to bitcoin for 2000BTC? on: January 08, 2023, 06:23:05 AM
Haha, so much fun back in the time. I dont know, but it feels that eveyrone was enjoying the bitcoin in fun way possible back in the time. Now it is just about how much bitcoin costs, why the price is low and why the price is not moving?

Back then it was fun to accept the bitcoin because it was new, it was something special. It was also surprising sometimes,  it was secretive too. Bitcoin with its magic had many peeps to use it and trade it just for "fun".

This tweet, its interesting and has just added another funny incidence in my memory about the bitcoin.  Tongue

Yes, I would do it now but may be I would have thought hundred times doing it back then. lol

Hope to see my list will keep growing in the near future. Couple of topics in the above list needs continuation as I have started them as chapters. I will surely revisit and keep upgrading them further.

1160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reference Thread for Different Colors | Multiple Shades | on: January 08, 2023, 05:04:20 AM
Add a BBCode for your colors so that if someone want to use it they can easily know which BBCode to use. With your table, it is a challenge to find color codes to reproduce it for my tables. I guess your purpose when creating the thread is provide an easy tool with available color codes for visitors and if it is you have not build it up well enough.

One more point, I don't think the color name is necessary, just show the color, and if people like it they will pick it (its code) to use. It saves more space for your table as well.

In case you want to allocate each row in the table for a wide range of an initial color, example: green, dark green, lightgreen, limegreen, whatever, you can do it with the second table I gave you.

Cheers.  Wink

Aaww, that is really nice idea. I think I will have to revisit all the color shades to create one. But this time I will just create another post with all the BBcodes in front of every color.
This is amazing concept.

It is helpful because in the forum drop down menu there are selected colors. Having wide variety of shades handy could be fun. Will work on that mate.
