1121  Economy / Economics / Re: Excessive Rain Can Hamper the Economic Cycle on: January 22, 2023, 08:54:13 AM
Yes definitely that is nightmare for every farmer and the whole economy depends on our food! With such natural calamities it gets worsen for every sector. It starts from the basics like farming, water treatment plants, supply chain based on it.

Once the town is disturbed it starts destroying other sectors like electricity generation, which then impacts offices, manufacturing, everything goes down with it.

This means money stops flowing and economy halts as well.

We had similar situation in my town, it was disaster everywhere. We couldn’t even get to our offices, vegetables were short on market, water was untreated.

Surprisingly it also boosted the diseases in my town and hospitals were flooded with it.

Everything collapses with this including economy. Just hold tight mate. Hope everything will be alright soon.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: [Article] How ChatGPT Will Destabilize White-Collar Work on: January 22, 2023, 07:24:34 AM
Endless possibilities. Jobs are definitely going down at the movement and in the future when AI like this learns more than enough about the world, it will definitely take up the vacancies.

We say that at the end there will be some work which will always need human touch but come on, we went from black & white era to Colorful wireless era in no time! It's horrible to imagine how it's going to be even in the next 10 years.

Plus, population is endless. It is not going to stop. Births gonna happen, mortality is reducing with high tech medical research and thus earth gonna explode one day with jobless peeps everywhere.

1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC? on: January 22, 2023, 07:09:14 AM
Damn, they are going to miss the priceless name of the company "genesis". It was so related to the bitcoins and it's beginning. How sad it is to let go with such bad news. I mean obviously they could re-do everything with proper planning and if they somehow get the funds for their business to go on further.

I am not sure how this may help, but doesn't the recent hike would make them regain some money from the market? I mean though it is comparatively small hike in the bitcoin prices; it would have mega impact on the bulk holdings if any? Could be broken logic but sometimes simple tricks can play very well.

Lenders should not go bankrupt, they take more than enough interests!
1124  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4CryptoBet New Online Crypto Casino and Sports Betting! on: January 21, 2023, 04:53:18 PM
Visited the site and it seems based on very simple script. Just straight to the business kind of theme. For example, when I clicked I was redirected to the live casino page be default. Pretty good range of live roulette which means least wait time and can hit multiple tables at the same time. Rest of the gambling site is good to access and loads way quickly as compared to the casino's that I am playing on. May be because of that simple script I guess. Also, you can add up more slots I guess. Various users will have different taste of slots and not only that but also the game providers are important for them. I think you guys should start giving more promo's and different games and rounds to get more attention since this is next big in the line! Good luck guys.
1125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi-asset mode or single asset mode on: January 21, 2023, 04:15:36 PM
Multi because it minimizes the risk of loosing everything at once! When we keep dividing everything we make sure our money is going into different assets in such way that they will be profiting us based on that particular projects progress. If we rely on single asset and having all the money on it then it poses a high risk because all your fate depends on only single asset and their progress. At least in multi one we will be able to stay nearby BEP considering every project will performing up and down all the time. They will be able to balance out perfectly so as to keep up with the market needs and stay in plus. In the long run lets say we have 50% btc and multiple alts distributed amongst the other 50% then obviously btc might be able to recover the all the losses that may happen in the alt side of crypto. This is just theory based assumptions but it has to be considered likewise, it could be reverse of this.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: how to overcome inflation for the community on: January 21, 2023, 01:12:40 PM
All you need is third option that is creating multiple income sources. I mean the world is changing is very fast and it’s becoming competitive all the time. Since there is high talent acquisitions who are willing to work at lower wages creating some shit competition everywhere. This means you have to ultimately look for lower paid jobs as well leading to low income and hard time during the inflation.

I think this creates complications and need of doing more jobs. Increasing passive income sources is always best.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin increased my mental awareness on: January 21, 2023, 12:46:08 PM
I am not sure if it has that kind of awareness or not but I have surely changed many things in my routine. This includes safe guarding of my private keys, keeping good eye on my ledger and old smartphone where I am keeping all keys, phrases and everything.

That does not seem to be mental awareness but it’s actual awareness associated with the security of our finances. Smiley

By the way keeping too much eye on our keys can also lead to burdened work. These are our savings, they must be kept with few copies only. Too much copies could be harmful.
1128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Visible is your trading plan on: January 20, 2023, 08:09:44 PM
This is an interesting question question really, and I think every hardcore trader must be having such big plans, goals on their minds to keep up with their trading race. However, for me I am just keeping it very simple, trade and earn profit and keep moving towards next profit slot without hampering my money balance. If I end up with some losses then I would quit the trading for many days and they recalibrate myself to hit the profits one more time during that period. I am not hardcore trader so may be I never had plans or I am not someone who will wake up in the morning and say, lets get started, I will make 10K USD today with my bitcoin day trade or futures trade etc. For me it is all about the experience, fun and some profits along the way.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Shocks the World on: January 20, 2023, 07:59:50 PM
Let there be half billion validators by next year but it would not cross bitcoins market cap neither it will be king or something like. Definitely stupid thought due to many factors are under considered here. With the ETH being an altcoin with non ending emission of the coins it will always have one step down demand as compared to the bitcoin. Having validators mean nothing, in fact it is needed now to keep the ETH's existence to through the PoS algorithm. Increase in validators only mean that it will be keeping it's algorithm on and it's utility up all the time. On the other hand bitcoin is getting more and more demanding and shorting in number as we move further. We may feel that it is slow process but at the end it's growing.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Buy Up - a discussion about having Strategy in your Life. on: January 20, 2023, 07:53:37 PM
and I am truly passionate about it. I am one of the very few exceptional men alive today who can honestly say I Love Doing What I Do For a Living.

That is very important in the long run and you can achieve amazing heights if you have this kind of thoughts about your life. A passion can take man to any realms and fulfil their dreams in the long run. Similarly when we are in the crypto world or in the investment mode one should be thinking about their investments keenly, check out the 360 view of the same and be happy about it. Well in all one can club this together to form a passionate investment and do it rightfully. Doing the financial stuff under pressure is not advisable to be honest so it's far better to keep up with plans. Appropriate plans regarding financial goals is big part of it obviously so just follow until we achieve the desirous levels.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing Bitcoin about 20 years and is offline paper wallet (Bitaddress) secure? on: January 20, 2023, 07:33:05 PM
I think OP's plan is good but as stated by few, paper storage can get way obstructive in the future and in the long run it could be harmful as you may loose the data. I mean even one letter from the print getting lost is losing of your whole bitcoins stored on it. There are many modern ways to do it and way secured than we predict. Hardware wallet can really do this job easily and I do not think we have to overthink about it in the long run. I think we can still go with the flow and modern ways of securing our funds. I mean I am not saying go online with our ledgers. You can always generate an address from the hardware wallet and never plug it until your target is achieved. You can keep funding the address and be secure all the time.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another data leak from Mailchimp, wallet affected? NEAR on: January 19, 2023, 07:54:03 PM
Quote
It is important to note that we do not store data that could be used to compromise NEAR wallets.  We currently have no reason to believe any information other than email addresses might have been accessed.

Now this is very important point from them! Thank God they have made good security layers as to keep everything safe and in one place. Only email addresses were stolen which is good thing. I don't think there is any data is associated with email addresses that can be stolen and which goes in the sensitive sense. More or less we can safely say that it is nothing much but data leak as titled stated. However, as per business point of view, this is gonna hurt NEAR peeps because they might see it as unsafe to keep the funds on that wallet. Let us hope they do not put it into no trust list just right away. However it is advisable funds shall be temp moved to another wallet for higher safety.
1133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello i want to make traders dream come true on: January 19, 2023, 07:41:25 PM
What is this? Open challenge to make peeps lure into imaginary profits and ask them to get scammed openly? This is so funny man and why do you really think that there is even slightest chance of this happening if you are so unplanned about it. The pump era already gone because peeps came to know about this scheme a long ago. At this point there is no way anyone is gonna fall for this trick. There was time when it got all shitty with the telegram groups and chaotic too because peeps use to believe that they will make profits along the way with this type of strategy. Definitely no signaling groups, pumps dump groups and blind investments in the crypto!
1134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 19, 2023, 07:19:35 PM
As far as we know, Roobet has only been launched in the year 2019. The casino is two (2) decades of old.
Maybe the record from that website (Internet Archive's Way Back Machine), records similar url with the roobet casino, but if it did really existed, I strongly believe that it's not a casino.
[,,,]
[...]
I think there were a few places in the crypto world that did that too. They made some huge amount of money, and when they got that much richer, they ended up using that money to buy a better domain, and changing the whole branding of their company as well. That's why I keep telling everyone if they want to build a business, the name is far inferior topic compared to actually being able to grow, because with any name you could grow if you know what you are doing.

Roobet and physical location never really came up, I think it would have been talked about if it were true, we would have seen at least one picture of it, there is absolutely no proof of real casino anywhere online.

I think Roobet is not our concern in terms of its historical perspective and what they have become these days. In fact roobet has achieved such levels as of now that its impossible to put a black ink on them. What I mean is, they are doing just great with their roadmap, their fan base is huge as compared to any other casino out there. Meaning, they are doing the right thing and they will continue to do so because thats the actual success mantra for the Roobet and it's entire staff. This is definitely unprecedented discussion if we are trying to dig out information which is not matching up with the Roobet's previous existence. What matters is, they are doing perfect and they will continue to do so...!
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to organise your Bitcoin wealth for a lifetime? on: January 19, 2023, 07:13:45 PM
The most easiest way I have done this is via my ledger and one smart phone which is only turned on when I need to take out my bitcoin and spend them. So ledger everyone knows it as hardware wallet, you need the passkey and phrases and stuff. However, sometimes the security of your funds can be managed with simple tricks rather than getting too high techie about it! I have Mi phone which is old and I am no longer using it since 4-5 years now. Since then I have formatted it and only have mycellium wallet installed on it. Now the address is mostly used to fund it and I rarely withdraw anything from it. I have kept that phone turned off and locked up in my desk. I only take it out now and then when Mi releases any software's and mycelium updates etc. So far I am doing great, and it serves the purpose of security perfectly.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 17, 2023, 05:08:54 PM
I feel it as newbie you have doubt even on the ETH coin. Nothing wrong in that and I dont think peeps should be laughing on the OP's question. They are noob, they have not tested any coins and it may have happened that they are very very new in the whole crypto process. Altcoins are always surprising to us and as bitcointalks follower I have already seen peeps getting looted in the name of good project for alts. It is always better to keep it straight and ask as many questions we want before investing into any type of crypto currency. Whether it is bitcoin or ETH or any other coin, this is prime question. To answer to OP, ETH is one of the highly trusted alt and we can call it the king of all alts. Good investment, only profitable for long term holding.
1137  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselves, CBDCs one Step Closer on: January 17, 2023, 04:55:09 PM
Now that is some sort of ideocracy I am seeing about the CBDC and how it's being portrayed as if something cool agency to help the fiat gain the technological advancement. Unfortunately they are not what should be and they are trying to be something else. Sounds confusing right? Yes why not, that is how they really work in reality. CBDC and SEC are the devil horns which keep fighting amongst each other to gain the control of few of the mainstream assets around the globe. This is rat race between them and nothing is really getting achieved with this. The claim that they would be mainstream adopter in next 10 years is just another gossip around the corner. It won't happen.
1138  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 15, 2023, 04:10:40 PM
I am going to be straight about this, those listed jobs does not seem to be side hustles to me. They look like full time jobs to me and should get bonuses along with it. I dont know how one can be in side hustle while driving a cab? You have to have whole day and night to earn pretty handsome money out of it, its definitely full time jobs. Now I do not want to brief every jobs mentioned but I have been there. If we really want to do the side hustle in the current era then it is more or less digital side hustle that can save up good time and money for us. I mean writing a blog, making videos, working part time alongside your real job would be actual side hustle for me. Not the job which will take up 9 to 5 place!
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused bitcoin to go up this january 2023 on: January 15, 2023, 02:47:07 PM
It's really funny as human we will have questions in both ways. When bitcoin was dropping, everyone was curious why it is dropping and now when the bitcoin is recovering from the long lasted bearish trend everyone suddenly wants to know why this happening. I know it is good to be curious but some of them really mentioning it in negative way. The market was really cheap, peeps were buying like crazy so it's nothing new that it will re-bound to the higher pricing one more time. It supposed to go up considering we were investing, that was the main point here. Plus, it is already known to have 4 years cyclic changes due to halving. But brace yourself, its gonna be roller costar, we will see another dip and then re-bound.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 14, 2023, 06:08:05 PM
I am coming to know this today and I’m sure there might be millions of people who does not even know if such event ever happened. I highly doubt that such news is responsible for the price hike of bitcoin. We have entered into new year and last year’s agenda is now long gone. Bitcoin already had discounted rates and whales already bought all they could. Miss El Salvador is doing good job with such stunt and it might be affecting the local community a lot. Good job though.
