141  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance founder should be jailed for 36 months, US prosecutors say on: April 24, 2024, 11:17:32 PM
Reports were talking about a maximum sentence of 18 months with no appeal, a year and a half in prison and he would walk free after admitting to violating US money laundering laws and paying fines. Prosecutors may try to increase this further to put more pressure on CZ, but in the end it seems that he will be imprisoned.

I feel like pleading guilty was his big mistake. There was no strong case against him in the first place. They probably pressured CZ into a guilty plea just to make an example of him.
I guess that his lawyer had advised him to just say that to have lesser jail time. Because if it's going to say that he's not guilty with it, it will be a longer process plus the jail time that might be longer than 3 years. Well, we'd see how the court will decide on that but even he ends up in jail, I'm sure that he's going to live like a boss there knowing that he's got a lot of money and other prisoners would treat him like a king there as well.

The US government had him by the balls. There are compelling evidence against CZ and Binance and there's no way he'd have escaped it.
Money talks but on his case, it's gonna be hard for him if it's against the US government. But if it's just like the other institutions that had filed a case against him, it will be a different story.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: April 24, 2024, 09:10:56 PM
Absolute scam site.
You lose and then tells that the casino is a scam website. In the first place, you know that gambling is a game of chances so if ever you lose then it's all done and up to your chances and the same goes as you win.

They don't even bother to give you any hope with small wins, they straight up steal from you instantly.
They do but it's that you're not lucky at all even with all of the math that you've explained. If they have stolen your money instantly then you aren't able to gamble and enjoy their games. They'd just straight up lock your account and your money is gone but no. Do not gamble and stop it, your addiction has given you lost in your understanding about the chances that every game is giving you.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impactation of Bitcoin halving and my opinion on: April 24, 2024, 07:45:06 PM
and the OP will agree with me that every bull runs is accountable to surge an ATH which is resulted just after the halving.
I agree that every bull run, it all starts with the halving but you are the OP.  Grin

The OP is quite a little mixed up right there, but I think he is referring to someone whom he lost the original post that he supposed to make reply of but instead post this thread as a reply to that lost post. It's a little complicated LOL.
I am not sure with that but one thing is, he's agreeing with himself as he's the OP.  Cheesy

But anyways, the bitcoin halving impact in the market is not gonna be a huge question mark anymore. Yeah you are right, it is a common knowledge for everyone who is here longer enough to experience at least the last 3 halvings that there is indeed a huge impact positively when the event occurs. We even call it the 4 year cycle, which a lot of investors are now following.
Exactly, it is a 4-year cycle and there are a lot of folks here that have understood the routine and there is nothing to worry about it. Most of us are just holding it and moving towards the peak of the market. Someone doesn't have to sell at the peak because it's hard to spot that exact moment but IMO, majority that have bought even at the start of the year are already in profit before the halving happened.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Event [2024], Reality! on: April 24, 2024, 02:04:40 PM
Just as the ordinals have stopped during their network spam. These runes are also going to stop anytime soon. In fairness, there's a decrease on the fees but I am not yet in the hope that we're going to see it continue because the last time when the fees have dropped down, there's a sudden rise of it. While this reality sucks because we think that the fees won't be moving together with the price but, some drama and issues like this has to happen before everything is all set for BTC on its peak.
145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does clogged mempool affect your crypto business? on: April 24, 2024, 11:28:30 AM
I don't have online business but I don't do any transactions for now, I'm waiting until the spamming is done. It's not worth it that I'd some transactions and I have to pay a lot but right now it's around $10 of bitcoin for a priority fee. Is it worth it? No for me, unless I've got thousands of dollars to send and I'm in immediate in need but I am not in that situation. The altcoins are in demand now and they're working with how they're named as an 'alternative'.

Which altcoin is the most popular now?
The common ones, BNB, LTC, Dogecoin, XRP, TRX but with Ethereum at the rate of 21gwei that's equivalent to $1.34 which is considered low if we're looking at the same fee with Bitcoin.
146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ViaBTC free accelerator should not be trusted anymore on: April 23, 2024, 11:39:00 PM
What really pissed me off is that no registration required for the free accelerator before, but you have to register now. 'Your free accelerator quota has run out, please choose the paid service if you need acceleration' is not displaying before but they are using it to market their paid accelerator now.
I've been using them before not until they ask to register an account there. After registering, there's always these likely bots that are filling all of those slots and when the hour refreshes, I wasn't able to make it after that update so I stopped as I think it doesn't make sense anymore or if someone from them is aware of the issue. But my technique is wait for xx:59 for the time before it refreshes and goes xx:00 exactly to press that free submission button. Or simply, you're right that they just want these free users like us to go ahead and pay for the acceleration which isn't worth it at all as if you just want to get confirmed just pay that expensive fee.
147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How possible can a forum memeber visiting foreign local board here? on: April 23, 2024, 10:09:12 PM
There is no problem with that, just don't derail threads and posts randomly as if you're part of their actual local community. It's okay to ask and respect the local boards as they've got rules as well but in general, the forum rules are in effect.

but I need to ask a question about using this translator tool outside the local board section to reply a question  that's written  in a local language, does the rules  hold outside the LB section to avoid making any silly mistakes  which might eventually  earn a ban for a user Tongue ....
The rule is the rule. If you're a local and you want to translate something outside LB or from LB, do it with your capacity and not with any translation tool to avoid any problem.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impactation of Bitcoin halving and my opinion on: April 23, 2024, 08:39:05 PM
English isn't my first language but IMO, the title "impactation" does have a different meaning than the word you want to convey which is impact. I think you want to use impaction instead of that. Anyway, it's a common knowledge that the impact of halving has always been there and that's due to the fact that for every cycle, the halving is the signal of it all.

and the OP will agree with me that every bull runs is accountable to surge an ATH which is resulted just after the halving.
I agree that every bull run, it all starts with the halving but you are the OP.  Grin
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AI Trading on: April 23, 2024, 12:09:22 PM
Trading bots are very common. Has anyone heard of using AI for trading?
Yes, even before the emergence of the AI projects. There have been AI or called bots for trading like gunbot and CAT which are the most known in the forum.

I think it is a very good chance to earn profits in a easier manner with lower risk.
It just automated your trades but don't give you assurance to make easy money.

I am a user of AI trading and would like to share my experience. It has been a nice journey trading using this AI. It helps me cover my losses and also make extra profits. This opportunity rose a month ago for me. For those who want to grab this chance to make more profits and cover losses, DM me. This AI doesnt give you all the hopes and dreams of 100+% profits but it will give you an estimated of 70% profit. Which is due to low risk trades and accurate analysis. So if you are interested DM me in Telegram: HenryFX88. Do not contact me to waste time. Only those interested feel free to DM I will walk you through the whole process.
Just as what you've said about not wasting time, it's best to not waste your time either and continue your own strategy with that discovery of yours and make yourself rich and make people envy of your own success using that AI and the opportunity that you've discovered or invented.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved in Hong Kong on: April 23, 2024, 10:18:45 AM
With more ETF approval across Asia, the positive sentiment will rise. Analysts are predicting BTC might set a new all-time high because of this activity after the halving or near the end of the year. I am certainly all in on crypto and have invested heavily in a reputable crypto firm with a proprietary crypto trading bot that continues to rebalance my portfolio for maximum gains, keeping me a happy camper.
We're all moving forward to the new all time high that might happen this year but if not, early quarters of 2025. Bitcoin spot ETFs are now one of the contributors for the bull run that we're all waiting for and in fact, it helped to surpass the ATH of 2021.

China has a different approach although the big mining farms are found there but they seem to be quiet for how many years after the news about ban has appeared once again. And speaking of correction, now we're back to $62k and this seems to be the support and I hope that it really is.
You are right, China has a different approach and I am trying to understand it so we can also prepare, as they might not be planning to make money in a bull, as they might have plans for the bear market which is also considerable for us and should be. Besides they are not quite as crypto is not illegal it's just not legal there. Which have some differences. As there are no strict rules against crypto users. Chinese are still using them. Actually the most of the volume on Binance came directly from China. I was shocked after hearing this news.

And yeah speaking of correction, actually when I was writing the post, I did not notice the price is already crossed my assumption, I have to edit it quickly after posting the post, I guess I edit it before or maybe after not so sure. But still market is highly unpredictable at the moment, but I doubt it will go below $60k. I have my limits there. But still I will wait as I was expecting it before and after halving. Let's hop it will not go down more.
As long as there's money, everyone is making a plan and some nations don't want to get late on it. The cycle is already known globally if they're going to step onto Bitcoin providing these ways of making their people invest on it. Those that are scared to invest on their own are the target market of these spot etfs.

I have heard this news too, but Bitcoin and Ethereum do not seem to be reacting to this news. There weren't any significant movements at all, even though this is big news. I don't see any valid reason why Bitcoin is dipping now after the Israel attack. I think the war is not going to continue with Iran, so the market should become normal again. Besides, Hong Kong ETF approval is big news for the Bitcoin community, but we can't realise any impact. I think it would take sometimes, like US ETF, if it wasn't pumped instantly and started pumping after a few days.
I'm not expecting a quick reaction for Bitcoin. Let's wait and give it sometime for a few months or even at the end of this year. It is for sure that we're going to see the big impact of these bitcoin etf approvals.

Hong Kong is simply hoping to outshine Blackrock by getting on board just in time to ride Bitcoin wave. Just in too Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), which is Germany's largest federal bank in my own opinion wants to test the crypto waters as it has been reported that they have a plan to start offering customers crypto custody services and sooner than we think, they will for a spot Bitcoin ETF. When all these happens and other big institutional investors enter the market, I don't know if there still be any bitcoin left for the others who want to but the real bitcoin.
I think that I've heard of that company before but if they're venturing into crypto and trying to get a chunk on this bull run, everyone is free to do so. They're going to contribute to the bull run that we're all waiting for but for them, they want to have some share too. I'm expecting more centralized companies, government and private institutions to get their hands to Bitcoin for this year before they're too late.

Currently, the related link source I checked publish yesterday on not right moment after war issues between Iran and Israel make bitcoin get crash drastically. I think have difference viewed if Bitcoin ETF approved in Hong Kong before war happening between Iran and Israel with potential bitcoin will raise more higher price, its keep good news for bitcoin after SEC ETF approving now Hongkong allowing to make bitcoin get approval.
I think there are not instant effect with Bitcoin ETF approved in Hongkong such as when SEC approving bitcoin last two months need more longer time for bitcoin get positive impact raising to higher price, seems one or two week later with potential positive effect after Bitcoin ETF approving in Hongkong will make price pump drastically.
Those war news possibly have affected the market a bit but we've seen how it's resilient since we're on the start of the bull run. Most of the negative news will be eaten back by the bullishness of Bitcoin.
151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: In what cases does Binance asks for source of funds ? on: April 22, 2024, 11:42:46 PM
It can be a huge concern just like what is happening with paypal. Paypal is taking the money of lot of users by putting hold on their accounts when they have become popular.
In fairness to PayPal, despite that there have been bad experiences that I've read about them, I've never got any problem with them. Honestly, I've made two accounts there because the first one was totally forgotten and it was more than a decade ago since I've logged back. After making the 2nd account there, they've asked me for some details not literally a KYC but connected my bank accounts and I'm good to go. I've seen concerns about them being blocked by PayPal but they're giving a period of time for them to return the money but they'll never be able to use the service again. Compared to the questioning of Binance about source of funds, they've never asked me that but it's been a while since I've used them again.
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: April 22, 2024, 10:17:15 PM
This is such a nice surprise, especially since it's my first win.
Thank you!
Congratulations, warfare!

To other members you can join to our next events!
Yeah, I'll continue to join and I'll keep doing it until someday I'll be able to win.  Cheesy

Yeah, they're very active with these prediction competitions and they're all free as they give back to the community. Easy conditions and hopefully that at some point we get to win even one of those.
Funny thing, I have already won one of those prediction competitions) I have never won in the prediction contests, but this was the first time and I was really surprised, because it was just a simple guess, I had no grounds for making that prediction. I don't even watch football regulate, only when my national team is playing. But I am glad to have this win, even if it is pure luck.
Mate, you're even lucky to have won that contest although it's sponsored by BJ. Well, keep it coming and never get tired to join all of these and everyone is a free to join just read all of those requirements.

No, like I said I don't like slots and I don't play slots, I never do.
Just tried it once for the free spins promotion and got what I expected, money to be thrown out the window. Slots are the biggest nonsense in the gambling industry, also the most dangerous one.

In the future I just ignore promotions with free spins since they are just a waste of money and time.
If you use free spins to play like for entertainment and play for fun, I don't think it is waste of money and time. Without free spins, you will have to spend own money to play, so now with freespins, play for fun is not too bad.
They're not a waste of time because as long as they're free, there's no problem with that. But it's about the reference, if ahoy thinks that it's a waste of time for him, that's okay because we've got our references for these giveaways. Anyway, talking about those prizes, not everyone of us are going to make it but hey, keep on trying.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 22, 2024, 08:33:58 PM
~snip~

For those who have never heard of bitcoin, I think we should introduce and provide materials, their knowledge will be many times better by giving advice to invest in bitcoin when they do not know anything.
If they are interested and you've got someone and you encountered him being interested in Bitcoin then provide him with all of those materials that you know. It's not hard to look into those materials anymore when they can be found on the web and look at those videos or even blogs/articles that provides details on teaching them how to start.

If OP doesn't rush to urge his friend to buy bitcoin, but instead takes the time to teach them everything about bitcoin and let them make their own investment decisions. I believe OP will not be blamed and his friends will also be more confident in holding bitcoin. Unlike now, they start to panic and may even dump if bitcoin suddenly drops in price.
It should be for everyone, we're not the ones to decide for the investments of others. If they think that they shouldn't invest, then they shouldn't and if want to, they're all free to do it anytime they wish and at any amount they desire to invest.
154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When you make mistakes, do not fail to take corrections. on: April 22, 2024, 11:32:31 AM
@michellee, I think you posted on the wrong thread.

There is n one that does not make mistake because we are so imperfect as humans. Making mistake is not really the problem but the lesson we learn from such mistakes is the main problem. From great scientist to surgeons and even engineers, all started from trial by error and they kept improving until we get to the point we are now. So, the lesson learnt from mistakes which is the correction is the most important aspect of mistakes. Unfortunately, many people feel bad and depressed when they make mistakes, either due to pride or ego and this is a bad thing to do.
As much as we can, we have to minimize doing mistakes. It's normal to do such but when we're repeating the same mistakes, there is something wrong with us. If some other people or members try to correct you, don't get mad at them because we're all learning here and you should be grateful and thankful to them that corrects you from the mistake you're doing or saying.

I see mistake as part of learning and that is why I don't kill myself whenever I encounter it although I try as much as I can to avoid it.
I am not sure if it's a vocabulary about killing yourself but it's kind of exaggerated to say that when you make mistake.

156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin halving is coming, what should we do? on: April 21, 2024, 11:14:01 PM
As the halving was done already, we did nothing but just let the miners mined the block 840,000. And right now, as the fees have increased as well, the same thing still. We shouldn't do anything. If you have no transactions needed to get done then it's best for you to just do nothing about it and let the fees decrease soon. It's not the desirable time to do unnecessary transactions but if who am I to stop you if you can avail to pay for $10 or more for a transaction that needs to get done, right? But usually, with the transfers that everyone is doing is all about sending btc to the exchanges for it to get traded.

either it can rise again or it will sink to a point we never thought possible.
This is true, either of the two is possible but the bull's just getting started so I think that we're going to see the former.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 21, 2024, 09:29:14 PM
I thought that this thread is about someone who's ranting about just after the halving and why the price of Bitcoin ain't increasing. But you're right with that suggestion of yours to buy while they can still look at this level of $60k. We've never got tired of reminding people to buy Bitcoin at any range that seem to be good at the moment and we always tell to buy before we'll never get to see these prices again. Whoever listens or does the initiative to buy, they're always the ones that are victorious and laughing at the end to the people that have laughed at them because they've never believed Bitcoin.

For those willing to take risks or already knowledgeable about the bitcoin market, advising someone to buy bitcoin is always considered a good thing. But you giving advice to people who know nothing about bitcoin is no longer good advice. Even you yourself do not guarantee that your investment will bring profit, how can you give advice to someone who knows nothing about bitcoin? Dont rush to give financial advice to anyone if you don't want to be blamed like the OP.
It's true that they might blame you for giving tips about buying Bitcoin and I've been there and experienced that before. But how it could be that someone will ever know Bitcoin if they you won't tell them what Bitcoin is and whether they should buy or not? We already started from having no knowledge about it until we become curious, did some research and asked people's advise as well.

Not just days but months or even a year after it.  Cheesy

OP will soon receive more criticism when he claims that the bull season will come a few days after the halving. Not only OP but many newbies are having this wrong thinking and they don't know that it will take at least a few months or a year for the price increase season to come or never come, nothing is 100% certain.
That's okay, I know that he's optimistic about that but don't tell an instant advise that Bitcoin will soon pump. Give it some time and enjoy the ride.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 21, 2024, 12:49:12 PM
Bitcoin mining fees has increased considerably today after halving but there are no effect on bitcoin prices. I suggested some friends to invest before and they are blaming me for the suggestion.

I told them to wait for final effect as it can take some days for effect on prices but they are impatient.
Not just days but months or even a year after it.  Cheesy
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country proposed the establishment of BRICS? on: April 20, 2024, 10:55:50 PM
China has it all set with all of the alliances that are joining BRICS. It's known that China and Russia were all allies long time before this organization has been made. And if it's about the history, it's also since time immemorial when the Chinese people have been doing trades here and there and until now they does but with the show of some buff on their strength through army and economy. While US triggers war for the sales of the arms and weaponries, Chinese is doing an overtaking through economic style with their purpose of loaning and putting those countries indebted to them as they call the "Chinese debt trap". Sounds smart and together with the emergence of their products in the technology sector, no doubt that it's going to take a few years until we see them have a stronger economy.

One of my colleagues told me that his salary is lower now than it was five years ago. Sadly, the price of goods is rising.
It's true that the price of goods are rising and that's areality that everyone has to accept. Now, I see a couple of things that are being experienced by your colleague that didn't foresee.
1. Your company isn't giving a yearly raise or performance raise.
2. Your colleague isn't upskilling and the company are limited in budget for pay raise.
3. Your colleague didn't planned for his future raises and personal economy and that's why he became stagnant.
