141  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BEWARE OF BIMTAINTECH S9 series Customer Protection suggestions on: August 06, 2016, 04:13:03 PM
you should know that they REFUSE to sell to China, not a single Miner S9 is SOLD to China.

wat.
142  Other / Meta / Re: New investigations board & restrictions on posting personal information on: August 06, 2016, 03:00:38 PM
but I wouldn't consider details that can be found via google to be illegal.

Where you find it is immaterial.

Its also impossible to verify that those details can be found publicly and that they're even correct which is a much larger issue. For example I could 'dox' Lauda by saying he/she is actually a sentient rabbit who lives at 123 Wartership Down and its public information or can be found with paid searches. How can anyone else verify that?
143  Other / Meta / Re: paraipan's coins on the move on: August 06, 2016, 02:57:19 PM
Is he 100% confirmed to have pased away? Seems a bit weird that if you knew you were gravely ill you wouldn't make sure all your business was in order and return the coins he was holding.

No. I was unable to locate the Spanish death certificate because we didn't have the actual date of his death and his Romanian death certificate is only retrievable in person. There are several members on here that claimed to know him personally and that he did indeed die.
144  Other / Meta / Re: paraipan's coins on the move on: August 06, 2016, 02:56:08 PM
The earliest funding of the wallet b72 which received that 5btc was initially started by wallet ba5 which itself received large deposits from 1b0d. Both b72 and ba5 are the same wallet owned by either Pairaipan or his business partner.

Now, 1b0d's most used address is 1lvbnppcsicgqhebkwgqcchas1ybhxnlbx which appears to be a vanity address (1 love bitcoin)??. Anyway, it belongs to Rugatu which was Paraipan and his business partner's Bitcoin version of Fiverr.

It appears that one of those two people is in control of the funds, else why would they send 5 btc to an otherwise unused bitcoin wallet in one of their names?
145  Other / Meta / Re: paraipan's coins on the move on: August 06, 2016, 02:26:44 PM
Hmm. This isn't any address I've provided to the family.
146  Other / Meta / Re: PSA: This Place is being moderated by TradeFortress! on: August 05, 2016, 11:42:33 AM
Yes that's how it works, then I send 0.001btc to you and I'm your boss. Its Bribing Simulator 2017.
A minimum of 1 BTC is required for you to be my boss, did you not know that?

You answer to Jhanzo, but he now answers to me because he set no minimum!
147  Other / Meta / Re: PSA: This Place is being moderated by TradeFortress! on: August 05, 2016, 11:14:23 AM
If I send 1BTC to theymos from a known—sorry, suspected address of mine without saying anything and create a new account announcing it, will I become theymos' boss?

Yes that's how it works, then I send 0.001btc to you and I'm your boss. Its Bribing Simulator 2017.
148  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 03, 2016, 12:18:17 AM
Since the googleapis.com account expired, did anyone copy/host the SD card images anywhere else?

If a drop-box like link is available I could grab and store them somewhere for the benefit of the miners still using them out-there.

Please let me know.

Permissions weren't granted for the other files, but for the two linked they're now in my archive and also mega'ed.

spon_2.7.1.tar or shortened if error.
spond_images_sp30.zip or shortened if error.
149  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][UK to World] Lots of PSUs! [31st Jul price drop] on: July 31, 2016, 01:38:51 PM
Avalon 6 sold, dropped PSU prices on remaining ones.
150  Other / Meta / Re: Can one's PM be full? on: July 28, 2016, 10:02:31 AM
So if I have so many messages on my inbox running to several pages, I could just delete my old messages to reduce the number of pages and have shorter loading time... right?

Yes, at least the first time you load it as after that its at least partially cached.
151  Other / Meta / Re: Can one's PM be full? on: July 27, 2016, 08:28:49 PM
I posted about a problem related to fat inboxes a while ago where sorting by sender seemed to mess up / cut off: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1032329.0
152  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][UK] Avalon6, many PSUs + accessories, 2x computer pa [18th Jul price drop] on: July 26, 2016, 11:40:23 PM

155  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: July 21, 2016, 08:09:10 PM
As evidenced by this thread words from Bitfury mean nothing, except perhaps that they're somewhat good at PR.

Yeah and unfortunately its a big one. They've certainly never scammed anyone but we just can't trust anything they say any more. We fell for it more than once and the rugs been pulled out from under us again and again. It also boggles the mind that after completing my 50th - and probably my last - hardware review, that there has not been one IRL picture or miner seen by a third party since their generation one boards. Bitfury, the leading hardware manufacturer of ghost hardware.

last why bitmain going private ?. !!! or your done dealing with it ? and finally see others point of view of how much the big guys really Don't care any more .

What do you mean by that? I don't understand the first part.

boggles the mind that after completing my 50th - and probably my last - hardware review

No I've just finished with the industry I guess. The companies are too large to need someone like me and because I didn't sell out (and Spondoolies...) I need the money from a normal job.
156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Buying from BitMain Tech on: July 21, 2016, 04:44:30 PM
It is after 3 opened tickets and real arrival time was 29.07.2016

You sure?
157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmaintech Europe?? on: July 20, 2016, 10:23:06 PM
That list of distributors are old, there is currently NO 'distributors' for Bitmain products despite what some people will say. There is no reason not to buy from Bitmain directly.
158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs [UNMOD] on: July 20, 2016, 01:24:54 PM
I hope you all settle your dispute in a peaceful manner without turning it into a dog fight (although law suits have a tendency to turn to dog fights).

They were forced into bankruptcy for not paying their employees, but *they* still get paid. As I said, all Spondoolies managed to do was join the ranks of BFL and the likes. Owners cash out and the expense of everyone else.
159  Other / Meta / Re: Have you ever clicked on a link in someone's signature? on: July 20, 2016, 12:34:23 PM
You can have a look at the stats publicly of the links in mine, for example for the ASICMiner blade guide https://goo.gl/#analytics/goo.gl/hv6h93/all_time.
160  Other / Bitcoin Wiki / Re: Request edit privileges here on: July 20, 2016, 02:43:36 AM
Just a quick one (seeing as this is the only active thread in here), if anyone has any ASICs that they want me to photograph that we haven't seen before, then send them over ASAP. I'll be liquidated my studio for good in a week or two which will mark my retirement. 99.9% chance that nobody cares but I don't like that we haven't been able to photograph the last few generations of chips due to bonded heatsinks.

PM me.
