1401  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is t his the Profile of the CEO if the frauf company Localbitcoins? on: March 23, 2023, 10:22:15 PM
If course I need to delete this, if its not the profile of the CEO Localbitcoins.

Yes I got scammed, I cant withdrawal my bitcoins.

The reason why Localbitcoins is shutting down, because it receive so many complains, because they steal the Bitcoins of some of their costumers. They are too busy with deleting complains in their comments.
have you tried to delete your localbitcoins profiles? They still won't let you withdraw Bitcoins

In my accounts, I see there is that option, though what I have in the account is way below the withdrawal limit.

Go to settings and then click on security. Below the security tab, you will see an option that says Account deletion

Something like this will come up

1403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Exit scam - Betja went down without any explanation on: March 23, 2023, 09:23:01 PM
Nice work creating thread + flag. Surprised it took this long for a scam accusation to be created given they exit scammed back in July!
One of the victims who was supposed to create the scam accusation did promise that they would do so, but never bothered to come around to create it. Perhaps that's why some other members were reluctant about creating it.

but I don't think we are going to see those scammers back in forum ever again, unless they will perform rinse and repeat scam with new name.
Yep, rinse and repeat is the most likely way to come back.

I feel sorry for guys who lost money there, but they should never hold coins on websites like this.
Sometimes they are just winnings and just as you attempt to withdraw the funds, you get locked out.
1404  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoins.com exit scam - scammer CEO Sara Leppänen on: March 23, 2023, 09:03:23 PM
Tell us, how are we supposed to believe your story without any form of evidence provided here?

You even failed to simply answer what I asked you about your locked account
Yes, now you may also call me an employee of Localbitcoins

I suspect you to be paid by the fraud company localbitcoins. If you observer their comments they are so many complains, but they delete it very soon ,thats why its hard to see these comments but you see that they have only a few comments - just because most comments are complaints.
This is a very big accusation, Mr Andras, can you prove that he is paid by localbitcoins?
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 22, 2023, 11:59:24 PM
Am ure you get the point he is driving at because, having that much points with little chance that they could lose as much as 2 games should they lose at all. So far into the season, they've only lost 2 games. They very much are champions of the Serie A this season and there isn't any team to contest that from that standing.
Do I look like someone who's clueless about football to you?

Point is, they are not yet champions. Come on, stop handing out titles like you started watching football yesterday. I have been watching since early 2000s. They still have some games to go otherwise the scudetto would already be theirs by now, Mr Seria A champion's winner awarder. For starters, do you still remember what tragedy happened in the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons?

Do you doubt that Napoli became the champion? In order to "officially" complete the title, they need to score only 14 points in the remaining 11 games. And this is provided that Lazio will not lose points. It seems to me that in about 4 games Napoli will officially become the champion because Lazio will not win every game, and Napoli just need to be no worse than the pursuers (which is easy for them because they are better).
Here comes another one  Grin

I am not about to waste time with this pointless arguments.
1406  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: March 22, 2023, 11:45:12 PM
New flag against 1xbit1.com as requested by Solosanz: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3143
Flag supported.

However, this is addressed to @Solosanz. I hope you get this message, mate. Please keep the thread to the reference topic open (don't lock it). You can not create a flag using a locked or self-moderated topic and this is by design, therefore, the topic shouldn't be locked as well after creating the flag

This is what the administrator said

You're supposed to use the link in the flag to link to a topic where the flag is explained in detail and people can discuss it, not to the topic where the person was scamming. For discussing the flag, selfmod or locked topics would not be ideal. If a topic doesn't already exist about a scam, create it yourself before creating the flag.
1407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 22, 2023, 10:58:52 PM
It looks like they reduce the firewall rules and restrictions on their cloud flare account which is why it is now accessible. I tried to make an account and verify the email but my account is in testing mode after searching around why it's a testing mode I saw a tab "verify" that requires KYC.

It means that this payment gateway needs to be KYC verified before you can able to use their service which is risky if we share our documents with a months-old payment gateway.
The domain is aged but the website itself is pretty new and it doesn't have any reviews yet and they only support API unlike BTCpayserver.
indeed, members have to be very careful with who they hand over their personal details to. It could be a scammer, and you don't want to know what they will user your KYC documents for after they have been sold off in the dark market
1408  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 21, 2023, 11:29:48 PM
I tried to access the website to check how this payment gateway work but it looks like your Cloudflare banned my IP with the error "Access denied".

If this is also applied in your Payment Gateway I'm sure it would also cause some problems not only to those who are planning to use it but also customers who trying to pay using your payment gateway.

Same experience here, I tried to create an account and it keeps denying me access.
The login in page for those that already have an account works perfectly but the sign up page keeps showing the error below.

https://i.ibb.co/sFTjwX3/Screenshot-20230321-231446.jpg

I am able to access the site from my side, both through My free VPN service and without the VPN activated. Usually when my free VPN on, it triggers Cloudflare, but I haven't experienced it this time round.

Maybe the service is blocked from your Countries?
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 21, 2023, 11:02:37 PM
Napoli team has already won the Italian League so good a thing they won't been under pressure or suffer much injury crises. The favourite in the Champions League is Napoli and there's nothing stopping them from winning it.
What do you mean by this?

I see they have played so far 27 games, 11 more to go. So when were they crowned champions? Or you are one of those folks from the future? Hahaha

It's a shame AC Milan had to meet Napoli in this round. My previous hope was that Milan would meet a team outside of Italy to be more competitive. However, there are other things that make me doubt even though Italy managed to bring 3 clubs to the quarterfinals, because 2 of them are very inconsistent teams in Serie-A..
it's not a shame. They have to face them off and beat them if they want to be the best team in Europe. Nothing comes on a silver platter.
1410  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: March 21, 2023, 12:31:01 AM
<...>
I agree with you. Trust flags should have correct reference links just in case there is a dispute in the future or when there is someone who has never been in the forum but may want to make a follow-up in the future.

We mostly create these feedback and flags because we hope that some newbie or guest user may come across the warnings, try to follow up and get convinced that the culprits should indeed not be trusted. Now, just like the trust feedbacks and flags, if the reference links are not accurate. It defeats the whole purpose of the trust system.
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade up capital: $200 on: March 21, 2023, 12:15:27 AM
One of the golden rules in trading is always use money you can afford to lose. Based on your story, it even looks like you got money from your wife without permission. If I were you, I would just use like $10 just to learn how to trade and get a proper trading strategy to is sustainable in the long run.

And please get an alternative source of income as you learn how to trade. it isn't as easy as A,B,C,D...
1412  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: March 20, 2023, 11:53:00 PM
About 8 of his accounts have been banned so far, but this guy is still posting links of a malicious script service

New account: Xdrainer543tre
ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3542319

I think the above profile should be banned too.
1413  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Offering Malicious Script Service - XDrainer on: March 20, 2023, 11:38:03 PM
Good job holydarkness.

The person behind the malicious script service is not about to stop. So I suggest you report any post or profile you find promoting the link in this thread - Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action !

Once you post there and report to the mods, they will act so fast and ban the profile

There are 4 accounts advertising this fake script and 3 were found by @PX-Z with deleted threads but we can view the archives.

They are actually more than that, but all have been banned except 2

1414  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "one of the largest crypto scandals to date" on: March 19, 2023, 11:48:35 PM
I read about this story a few days ago, and it's amazing that so many people were victims. It's similar to another "trading bot" that's being advertised by some folks, know as royal IQ. people are going to get scammed one day again.

However, why would people invested in trading bot they have no idea of or even making their investigation before investing in it or started using the app.
If people are stupid enough to invest in Ponzi schemes they have no idea how they make the money, then trading bots shouldn't be an exception
1415  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: March 19, 2023, 11:24:44 PM
Edit: But also at a glance, you can clearly see how 1xbit.com is diffferent to 1xbit1.com right I hope? I'ts a clear scam link...
I think it's a mirror link of 1xbit.com
I have seen it several times before. Maybe the person trying to impersonate ran out of usernames to use as 1xbit have so many user profiles here that have been tagged before.
1xbit_official said the address is correct in this quoted post.

Again changed and cant login. Im trying to login in the link 1xbit1.com . Is this link correct?
(1xbit.com) In this one i cant even enter in the web as it says "Error the web cant be displayed)
The address is correct, i've asked my colleague from security to double-check if everything is alright.
There are restrictions placed on your account.
1416  Other / Archival / Re: Question for forum moderators on: March 19, 2023, 10:50:28 PM
Bitcoin wiki moderator, I wonder how did you know about that? You registered in 2018, he was last active in 2015. Were you here with your main?
What if he used the forum search button or ninjastic.space and skimmed through the past posts? Does this still mean he has a main?

Even if he has a main, is it against the forum rules?

I also wonder what happened with the asylum moderator FlyingHellfish, anyone knows?
As far as I know, he just went mute.
1417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ✅Metaspins.com SCAM✅ Site Dont put your BTC There!! NOT pay 9500 USD winnings on: March 17, 2023, 11:48:10 PM
Thanks to the cooperation with the Websites owners we have one more confirmation, that our decision is 100% legit and honest:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/metaspins-not-paying-out-9500-in-winnings.99358/
https://casino.guru/metaspins-casino-the-player-s-account-got-blocked
At least this is a good development where we get to know who was right and who was wrong as per the ruling by other trusted mediators. Now I wonder what OP will have to say about this if at all he tries to log in again.

Some people do try to play victim even when they know that they did something wrong.
1418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Feel Inadequate or Inspired After Watching These Types of Traders Content on: March 17, 2023, 10:59:41 PM
Most of them are cons, scammers, shills looking for views from YouTube and probably get paid to shill more shitcoins to newbies... There is no way I can feel inspired by such kinds of people. The good thing is that it's so easy to identify such con artists just by looking at the way they present their videos

Most will want you to join using their referral links or join a certain trade coaching class for a fee. If someone is rich as they claim, then why are they looking to earn a few dollars using referral links?
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi - How do I remove the "Approve to spend" contract on: March 17, 2023, 10:43:28 PM
I believe you are using Metamask, Right?

If so, then this article might be helpful - https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/6055177143579-How-to-customize-token-approvals-with-a-spending-cap

Do I just send all my left over USDT to a new address or do I need to make a completely new wallet and send it there?
This won't be necessary if you set the spending cap as instructed.
1420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All in one charting software? on: March 17, 2023, 10:36:28 PM
I mostly stick to tradingview because of the very many publicly available scripts (strategies and indicators) so even on a free version, Tradingview is just good. There are also there alternatives, but they also need you to pay for certain features. Check them out

These are mostly crypto leaning charting tools
