after speaking with many devs - EXCL will not be an rabbit tester of 20mb blocks.
we will let BTC do that first, then we will decide moving into that or not.
EXCL project is too big and too important to be a tester of such grounds.
on the other hand, ByronP and me are doing good working on "cryptoebay" so stay chilled and just hold your coins and support.
All good, yeah it was just a crazy idea. As was said before the block limit we have now is unlikely to be ever filled anyway. You also make a good point that EXCL should not be the one experimenting with new technologies. Allow other coins to do that and when the waters have been tested we can always still adopt those features in the future. all good, please take community ideas, bring tchem to me and lets do it. surly PoW reward will decrase on the fork since this is why we are loosing on price. on the other hand me and ByronP of Banx.io ar working on best "ebay alike" marketplace you have seen. KC. I think you should just get rid of POW, isn't it a risk to have a low POW reward with POS? Then again a low percentage POS reward also encourages people to just leave their Coins on the exchange which also weakens security. That is why the reduction of POW i have suggested is a relatively low reduction, so that it does not compromise the security of the EXCL blockchain. POW is also good for distribution, and it brings new people to Exclusive Coin. I actually discovered EXCL myself when looking for a new coin to mine. It also seems like there are some people who do not want POW removed entirely, as you can see from their comments earlier in this thread. That is why i thought moderately decreasing POW would be a good compromise and a good middle ground that should keep everyone happy. I also do agree with the previous comment about the price being determined by demand and its relation to inflation. I suspect that many of us here are just sitting on our hands waiting for the release of the upcoming market. For any newcomers out there, the best time to buy is during a ATL that logic has served me well in crypto.  Well you can change it however you want with a majority so long as everyone is alright with the change, might be an idea to set a time like every 6 months or so as a review for changes. I wasn't really arguing either way, I think there can be lots of solutions that can work. |

Great news is getting the android version made now But some reason jah and i are testing out the wallet with bittrex and having a few issues with getting it to sync nothing we wont fix. Ive been testing it for weeks with multiple computers and ip addresses with no problems until now so im sure its something small that will be an easy fix hoping to get an advanced android wallet as i paid a bit extra upfront for it will be keeping you all updating with the progress and coders want to help its appreciated email me at maryjanecoin@gmail.comttyl Adam ps bittrex will be helping with an online exchange conversion for those ppl with coins on the exchange What is the link to the new source? I added a few from the PayCon threads I thought were relevant, tried to stay away from PayCon logo's. I don't know how you guys missed Pauls "Paycoined, it's the name of the game baby!" gif, that's probably my favorite one. |

Not trying to pick ya personally as alot of ppl are big on Pos these days, however.... assuming miners dump coins for profit why wouldn't coins minted by Pos be dumpped? Eventually Pos get dummped for bitcoin. Honestly as a miner and someone who has POS coins personally I try to get the best possible price for coins I mined, as I've actually had to spend a grand on equipment. When I dump pos coins I sell at whatever ever because honestly it was effortless and Pos is %100 profit so there is no motive to wait a week for a better price. Honestly alot of Pos coins seem drop to nothing. The real issue with most crypto is the lack of goods to be purchased with the coins. Bitcoin is popular because I can drive to main st. here and buy a pizza with it. I had an interest in Excel because the dev immediately was trying to sell goods in excel (even if its just a few items). I believe if the formation of an excel marketplace is completed and the coin is a used as a payment system the price will naturally rise. Otherwise as with all the other crypto both Pos and Pow will inflate the supply to zero. The key is demand for the [Suspicious link removed]d luck folks I generally think it's better to have a moderate amount of inflation at a constant rate within POS because yes you dump at whatever, but it's also not costing you to maintain it either. As long is it isn't hyper-inflating, that's all that really matters. |

So, just got a USD$2.36 royalty off a book... SO tempted to go out and buy me some XPY and ride that puppy into the dirt... but I might go the PayCON route instead. At least there, I really would be sad if it went into the dirt. :-)
I love PayCon because it just lets you be a dick and annoy people a bit but I would be really sad to see it go into the dirt since I actually do care about the people that hold it and want to see them gain success with it. |

When "everyone gives up" the huge % up-bounces will probably end, but for now XPY is a great coin for short-term trading IF you place your orders low enough.

Would also like to know what thinks about the PayCon Logo. Like the color, too. Maybe he means our PayCon guy pippi on PayCoin could offend some People (especially those who lost much money in XPY. but especially they should join the CON) A more professional look/design, maybe? I think itīs name should stay, at least for now. Later changes possible. Everything possible with Con I don't think it would be offensive to people who lost money in XPY, I really like the slap it together kind of feel of it all where you grab stuff you like and just integrate without really giving too much thought to it. I love the name but if we truly got bored of it and XPY died completely then we could change it and that is really the beauty of it, with a good team working together you can literally change anything you want about it as long as it is beneficial towards everyone. I've been thinking a lot about doing a "Muggle Relief Fund" we should try to gather a HUGE portion of PayCon (5-10% of the Coins) and donate it to everyone that lost money in XPY. It would be great way to expose ourselves to the world, I can put in a fair amount for this (up to 250k CON), what do you guys think? And just how would you determine that this guy really lost money in XPY and the guy next to him did not. Or maybe half of those victim guys turns out to be Homero himself... That would be so nasty! Make an advertisement banner ''Homero traded his XPY for CON''  That's easy, just talk to the most prominent people on forum.gethashing, most know each other and miners who lost out on it all. |
