Guys please see the poll I have added to this thread regarding if the HYPER MMO Development Fund should stake or not.
The poll results will have a big influence on me deciding what to include in the Whitepaper.
I want the community to help decide on key aspects of how HYPER will move forward from here.

Thanks for updating everyone psybits and yes we are considering setting up the main 500 K HYPER MMO Development Fund so that it does not stake, to lower inflation and help HYPER become decentralized more quickly. Please do let me know your thoughts on this! Important update regarding Zandagort the dev is trying to get the game stable with 8000 planets (so we can have lots of players and worlds) and the dev is still performance testing this. We will be running an updated version of Zandagort that is a bit more slick than the version we are currently running. Also, testing for the HYPER integration will also be taking place during the next week! This doesn't mean it will definitely be launched in a week but I wanted to give you all an update. The HYPER Whitepaper is coming along, but I am looking for feedback from the community regarding topics like staking the 500 K HYPER MMO Development Fund. Upon the release of the Whitepaper there will be the HYPER Incubator, the HYPER MMO Development Fund and the HYPER Bounty Fund. I think that the interest of 500,000 coins need to use in the Market Stabilization Fund. Such operations require BTC reserve. Hey Sakura! At this stage many people have contacted me explaining they do not want a Market Stabilization Fund as the buying and selling of HYPER on the exchange by myself or a team member is akin to market manipulation, and would also mean that when HYPER is sold this will actually decrease HYPER value (as the fund will be trading both HYPER and BTC). Even if sell orders are placed strategically on the orderbook this would be holding the HYPER value lower than it would be if the orders were removed. But thanks for letting me know you support the idea of the Market Stabilization Fund. I am open to hearing your ideas regarding if we should have the market fund or not. |

HYPERfuture and I are discussing the possibility of stopping the 500 000 HYPER MMO Development Fund I am managing in escrow from staking. While this means that after the bounty funds run out there will be no more HYPER to sponsor more games in the HYPER Incubator, it will lower HYPER inflation a little to help ensure HYPER remains valuable. It will also help HYPER become more decentralized faster.
Please provide feedback as we are deciding on how to proceed with this.

The number of HYPER coins in the fund is less important than the value of the coin. We need the price of each HYPER to be higher so the development fund will be worth more. I agree that HYPER needs to be more valuable for us to reach our goals. That's why we are working on so many projects to bring more value to the HYPER ecosystem. Well as you've stated you're working on something different so you no doubt have your own agenda for putting down HYPER. This isn't a thread hijacking you were the one who was talking about HYPER on the last page! So I am not allowed to answer your incorrect statements? If you read the HYPER thread you can see the premine is accounted for. Again you are making false statements and as you've admitted you're working on something different and no doubt see HYPER as a threat. Good luck with your project. Maybe try having your project stand on its own two feet instead of trying to tear down any competition. Your arguments are old, boring *yawn* and have all been nullified in the thread if you would bother to read it. For example the 700 000 HYPER has been given out for bounties for many many different HYPER projects - not given out on our game servers. So you clearly have not read the HYPER thread or OP and have no idea what you're talking about! There are less than 700 000 HYPER remaining in the various funds (this is entirely transparent and can be verified via the blockchain).
How can we know what happened to the rest, though? Presumably some was given away in your games but we have know way to know if you didn't just keep it. Of the remaining 200 000, it is being used to sponsor more game developments (such as the HYPER Counter Strike. Minecraft and Zandagort servers),

Mostly out of interest in observing games-based issuance being done in precisely the wrong way. I would hardly say there is any transparency there into the redistribution of your 1.5 millions of coins. Through sponsoring as many online games and servers as possible, HYPER aims to be a cryptocurency that is not just for speculation, but is embedded in a complex ecosystem with many opportunities for playing, trading, staking, gaming, and earning!
All without any consideration for the original design goals of crypto currencies - fair and transparent issuance, total decentralization of transaction, and open accountability of history. Your "ecosystem" even directly renegs on all three! Biggest current HYPER developments:

It is entirely free to vote on MintPal and Bter. You just need to have a MintPal or Bter account that has done some trading on their exchanges. You can also vote every hour so you can earn a lot of HYPER. The only proof needed is that you post your vote number in the thread on the HYPER forum. The other bounties below such as tweeting, joining the Reddit, adding HYPER to your bitcointalk signature and posting about HYPER on other online forums are entirely free. There are a few misonceptions about HYPER that have been raised in this thread I would like to clear up. The biggest one being the funds HYPER has set aside for MMO Development, bounties and to sponsor more games and game development with the HYPER incubator funds. How is a coin with 5% hyper-inflation good for the currency?

There's only just over 3 million HYPER in circulation. Certainly far less coins than DOGE Even with the 5% inflation as there is no mining it turns out to be fairly low inflation compared to many other coins overall. Many people will hold their cons to stake them too. |
