1441  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are they safe for us? and we should enjoy them? on: August 26, 2023, 09:12:35 AM
Before purchasing those software that you need, verify it first from the actual vendor if they're really offering those kind of low or discounted offers. Because if not, you better not pursue the transaction 'cos it might compromise your own device or service upon availing that unauthorized sale. I've seen people in socmeds do offer discounted offers like in Netflix, utility bills and stuff and I don't know how they do that especially for the bills. And for the Netflix accounts, maybe it's like for the shared accounts and they just want to have someone to share with the subscription. But even with that, support for the cause of the actual service with the rightful amount unless the discounts came from them. My wife's a fan of discounts but she usually check the authenticity of it if it's from the genuine merchant or partner shops.
1442  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ 0✘BET | Casino & Sportsbook | NO KYC ' Fast Payouts! 🎲⚽ on: August 26, 2023, 07:58:48 AM
That's good, because there are some casinos whose website doesn't look very good when using a mobile browser.
Those casinos that don't have a responsive website just have to work on it and hire some developers that they can trust to do it for mobile gamblers.

I think this site might also be a site that is more accessible using a mobile browser,
I just did tried it on a mobile browser and its fit and responsive, that's why for those gamblers that prefer to gamble through mobile, it's like the actual on desktop. It's handy honestly.

but from some of the community friends' responses above this thread discusses that they are associated with the 1xbit site where this site has a bad image in this forum with many cases that have not been resolved and have been marked as a fraud site, so it's still relatively new, I might be more careful too playing on this site. still want to see how this site holds up in the next few years
I've seen that and understood it through the replaced character. I hope that 0xbet proves everyone wrong and they make this platform greater than expected.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Security measures in casinos are better than exchanges! on: August 25, 2023, 11:46:08 PM
I think it's that most of the media are just focusing on these breaches that mostly happening in exchanges. And that's why they're getting more exposure than the casinos. The betting sites are no exception when it comes to these attacks but, I guess the business is more with the exchanges and that's what are people interested to know just to take flame on the market and put it to their audience. Just noticed that, so there's bias in reporting. However if there's a stat that provides that there's not that much breach that happens in casino then that proves it. If not, then that only sets the idea that we see articles focused on dealing and publishing headlines related to crypto hacks.
1444  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telegram and it's misue for scammers. on: August 25, 2023, 10:06:05 PM
I think Telegram should do better and when there's a duplicate @ for each user, they shouldn't allow that to be put in the bio of a new person that tries to copy details of the orig identities.
This is not about a duplicate @ because it wont work. Telegram should let every user have username as mandatory requirement to avoid this, if they can't remove the feature of not allowing entering @username in bio.
Forgot to say that I was looking and referring to crypto library's pic reference but yeah, you're right that Telegram should have that mandatory because are they aware that they're now a scammers den? And how it's easy it is to be abused by these people that don't have good intention but to scam people and impersonate the genuine people inside their platform. I'd agree to the suggestion that if you're having a reputation, it's a good idea to avail that premium to protect your name and business.

1445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 25, 2023, 08:29:48 PM
It is not a secret that a trader can make money with the figures that you've given. But you know why many have chosen the opposite path of just being an investor and chose not to maximize the potential just as what you're saying? It's because that it's easier to lose from doing that potential you're saying than to be a passive one which is effortless and easier regardless of the market situation. You're saving a lot of time and you don't have to be aggressive in the market which is what you're thinking to do. And in no way I am going to watch the channel you're plugging that tells what to do if you can just summarize the contents of it.

And in addition I think its right time that everyone that's interested in bitcoin should also start learning about trading since it gives a good opportunity for anyone to earn off bitcoin. What do y'all think bout this ?
It's fine to do it but if someone is unsuccessful with it, we can always be the investor type which is what many are doing.
1446  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telegram and it's misue for scammers. on: August 25, 2023, 03:33:41 PM
There have been a lot of cases of scams that have occurred in Telegram. That's why it is not just for the ICO projects, exchanges, airdrops, etc. But also you guys, Royse, they're targeted by these scammers knowing that you guys are popular in the forum and now a public figure. They're going to try any tactic that they can to at least fool someone using your publicity and identity. I think Telegram should do better and when there's a duplicate @ for each user, they shouldn't allow that to be put in the bio of a new person that tries to copy details of the orig identities.
Nice catch Royse but still be careful and the same goes to the other popular managers out there.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Sports Betting Shop Operations on: August 24, 2023, 11:02:55 PM
A good gesture but not every betting shop or online casino will do that for their customers. That is why they're easy on these people and have some placards display on their shops and banners(online) that they should be a responsible gambler. I also think that there's likely a local rule that these betting shops need to follow and have their customers reminded just in case that there is a threshold being met by a local gambler. Well, it's a good thing to have these shops have their own way of reminding their customers to be still on their regulated platforms. We also see this very often on many online casinos but as a customer, we tend to ignore and neglect it especially when we're addicted. Physical and online interactions really differs and you'll feel more cared when the interaction happens physically.
1448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: August 24, 2023, 09:31:43 PM
Just another piece of advise to newbies that just starting their journey with cryptocurrency, crypto trading is not for everyone. If you are unsure of your capabilities to trade it will be beneficial to you to just buy and hold, and be taking each opportunity of every dip on the market to Dollar -Cost-Average.

You're peacefully on track, and not losing out on anything. Trading has sent a bunch of persons back to their past. Cheesy

There is a time for everything, and the bull market is usually the time for holders. I am sure when the bull market returns as we're expecting, if you hold good project's you will make a good profit.

Don't follow the crowd, follow what has profitably proven to work for you. In cryptocurrency market it is time that makes the difference in our profit-making.
Right on, trading isn't for everyone but everyone can be an investor and a holder. There's the track for those that are frustrated with trading and that's why you don't have to quit the entire market just because it's not working for you. Those that have experienced and thought that trading is the only way to go have already seen that they've got no future with that. But there's nothing wrong in trying as long as you can afford to lose the money that you're putting there as your capital. While in holding and following the strategies like DCA, you'll just have to endure the painful market for a while and will see how effective it is in the long run. We've been there and done that and that's why it's a good and perfect strategy for those folks that don't like to see themselves lose with their trades. In short, you'll still have to trade but that's only the time you'll do when you're going to buy and take profits.

1450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $25,000 give this time? on: August 24, 2023, 10:38:51 AM
I think the $25k support level won't hold, and we might see a drop to $20k or lower in a couple of months. It will be the end of the market correction, and after that, the price will increase after BTC halving. The news is circulating regarding SEC, Binance, ETF delay, and a possible global economic recession; a pump over $30k in the next few months is not on the cards.
While it has reached $25k a few days ago but it didn't went below it. But the possibility is always there and everyone's still in doubt if it will recover quickly and go back to $30k. This is what uncertainty is playing on the market. Too many news starting from the strict compliance of Binance against US and then SEC plays a lot of details onto the market which brings FUD to many. As much as the news about Bitcoin ETF, they're hinting many of those are going to be approved. But as an individual looking at the market, we don't have to rely a lot on it.

Get ready for another sharp dump in the coming months.
Been prepared for that every time the market shows how volatile it is.
1451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i'm aware to do kyc on Crypto project on: August 24, 2023, 07:43:03 AM
Many of the crypto Trading platfrom and other such as IDO platfrom required KYC for full access to their service. it'a not a big issue to do it. but, sometimes this type of project get down. On this sisuation they are able to sell our information on Dark web or other Agencies.
It is a big issue and that's why because of what you've said in the latter. And if you think that it's not a big issue to pass on with that, for the most as much as you can issue it's a matter of concern.

also, if our goverment force them to share personal information i think they might be ready to share. so, it's hard to get full access from a KYC required project.

SO, last things is don't do KYC every time if it's not neceserry...
If the government steps in and that exchange or project is registered, they have to comply what's being asked on them. This has happened several times in the US and I think in some other countries as well. It's not just all about the projects that we're complying for KYC but also in many exchanges where we're sending our IDs and as well as for the casinos that might ask for it. If you don't want to comply for it, much better to choose wisely the platforms that you're using.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin at this Price limit its Global Adoption? on: August 23, 2023, 11:33:01 PM
No, I don't see any reason from those predictions limit people from entering and adopt Bitcoin. Yeah, it may sound intimidating if these predictions keep on coming and the price actually reaches to those figures. But I don't see that this simple reason could affect the global adoption. Whenever the market turns into the bull run, that's how everyone is going to be back at it. The more action that people are seeing in the market regardless of the price and predictions that many are projecting, entering is going to be quicker than what we're expected and that's what typically we see.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 23, 2023, 06:18:56 PM
-snip-
There could be some strategies that's being set by that coach and that's why he didn't allowed to play Clarkson for their tune up matches. Another thing is that he's preserving him to the upcoming matches there and that's the better choice that he needs to decide.

For sure Chot Reyes is up to something in every game, he always has a say on who's going to play or not even though some fans doesn't like what he is doing even though he is always doing something for the team, well you can not always please anyone but in my take Chot Reyes is surely a good one, he surely is preserving Jordan Clarkson and not letting him play on the tune-up games,
Yeah, just like any team that's near to their game day. Their key player has to be preserved so that no unnecessary things could happen like being injured during these tune up games.

While it's a tune up and practice games, the fans would love to see how those games are having. What I think is that they're not allowing it to be broadcasted so that people won't go to the venue and flock as they'll get to know that the games are live and happening if ever they broadcast it on a stream. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore as we're just a few days away until we finally the live matches for many teams on this world cup.
Yes! the start of the game for the FIBA will be on Friday PST and as I would like to watch the game live, I can't because I have a work to do so pretty much I will be busy on that time, but surely that game will be broadcast nationwide so will be watching it on the comfort of my home,
You should have your boss and HR to take a leave for that purpose, they'll understand it.  Tongue
It's exciting as we're getting closer to the actual date of the matches.
Speaking of the date, for someone who wants to have the reference of scheduled games: https://www.fiba.basketball/basketballworldcup/2023/games

Was it for most of the teams that are having tune up games that there's no way to watch a stream? I think there's a definite reason why they're keeping it closed doors so that these practice or tune up games are well protected and kept private in preparation for their actual games soon.

These teams are trying to figure out their playing styles, team chemistry and looking for their bad habits. So they are not exposing their games to the public. Otherwise, the rest of the teams especially their team group mates will have their own staff assessing it and will identify their strengths and weaknesses.

Anyways, just two more days before the official start. I'm looking forward to the opening game between betting favorites Australia against Finland. Looking forward to Lauri Markkanen and his gang pulling an upset against the Aussies who will compete with a lot of NBA players.
That make sense but I know that most teams are already advanced and they have their own scouting agent to watchout those teams that they're scheduled to play against with. Anyway, I'm also excited to see the opening of the games. I've already linked the scheduled for everyone's reference.
1454  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: .0043 bitcoin loan defaulted by [Devawnm367] on: August 23, 2023, 04:06:14 PM
That's a huge patience that you've got there shasan and terribly sorry for your loss. I am sure that you've given him the benefit of the doubt that soon he'll be back and will repay you the loan but despite that kindness and gesture you've given to you him, it seems that he won't be back anymore. But hoping that he will come to fix this situation and reach out to you if he's dealing with serious problem as what direwolf has mentioned.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life? on: August 22, 2023, 11:17:31 PM
Has BTC helped you feel more optimistic and excited about the future?
Yes, when I've first read about and asked questions about it. It's like a full version of something new that I have never seen before. I wasn't expecting Bitcoin that it will be such a big cryptocurrency and asset and whatever it has reached and will be reached in the next years to come.

Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life?
Definitely.
Especially for saving money. I've used to save money in the banks and happily seeing the numbers grow on my bank account through mobile banking. While being on Bitcoin, it has changed a lot. Coming from having that mindset that I am very much happy to see how the numbers are randomly growing because of its volatility to being endured and numb from the market's upside down trends. They're all great experiences and the disappointments were also there but that's incomparable than of those exciting moments that I've been with and will be with because of BTC.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 22, 2023, 05:39:33 PM
I agree, with these players that have played with the best in the NBA with their respective teams whether they're teammates or opponents. The lesson and playing experience there is a big shape up not just for the individual players but also what they could share to the teammates that they're playing with for their national teams. While we're all going to agree that it's not about having someone on your wing just because they're playing in the NBA means they're automatically going to win rings on this world cup. This is all about the talents that we've got in different parts of the world who are great in playing basketball. It is exciting to see those teams that doesn't have an NBA player but they're trying to survive and win their games.

Well, salute to those teams that doesn't have any NBA players but are still on the top of the Fiba league, well the Philippines got one and that is Jordan Clarkson but with the tune-up games Chot Reyes the coach for the Philippine team decided not to let Clarkson play I guess this is to familiarised other players on the other teams without relying on Jordan Clarkson, that much, which is a great thing for sure,
There could be some strategies that's being set by that coach and that's why he didn't allowed to play Clarkson for their tune up matches. Another thing is that he's preserving him to the upcoming matches there and that's the better choice that he needs to decide.

Was it for most of the teams that are having tune up games that there's no way to watch a stream? I think there's a definite reason why they're keeping it closed doors so that these practice or tune up games are well protected and kept private in preparation for their actual games soon.
I think this is because it is only a tune-up game so there is no need to broadcast it, as for sure if they did other teams would rather have some idea on what is the streght of the other teams which is not a great idea for sure so for me it is OK if the tune-up games is not live stream, but there are people that are posting their live video of the game in Youtube so there are still ways in watching the tune-up games for FIBA,
While it's a tune up and practice games, the fans would love to see how those games are having.
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: Criteria for Evaluating Potential Cryptocurrencies for Investment in the Market: on: August 22, 2023, 03:01:34 PM
1. Technology
Honestly, this criteria has always been used and abused by most of the developers. When they're making a new project, what they always tell to their proposals is that it will solve scalable issues and problems. And on top of that, they're making it look like the old ones are outdated which somehow true for some but even with that, we can still see that they're on best shape and usable. That's why if we're looking at Bitcoin, many of those new projects have told that they're solving block issues that Bitcoin can't and at the same time, they keep on always throwing the same description like it's got an outdated blockchain/tech. But look where it is, still the top of them all.
1458  Other / Archival / Re: OKX is going to implement KYC for all clients on: August 22, 2023, 11:55:57 AM
I think we're all seeing the pattern from all of these centralized exchanges. Starting from a long overhaul from Binance and Kucoin and to the new ones that are starting to gain traction in the community. If there will be some exchange that starts to become popular and offers some limits for their no-kyc accounts, it won't be a surprising thing anymore if they will start to update their terms and will also reason out that every customer needs to comply based on the regulations set on them by the government.

Another one down, Huh! Shocked
So what I said is getting one more step closer to becoming real.
I bet there will be no centralized exchange that will operate with a tag name of No-KYC before 2024.
There will still be some but they'll change their terms just like this one or we will never see one anymore.
1459  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Scammers create Pishing site to claim SEI Airdrop 🚨 on: August 21, 2023, 11:56:23 PM
Unfortunately, Twitter is now free of censorship and is full of bots, spam, and chaos.
It's going to make things worst and that's why everyone needs to be more careful when they're focused on the airdrops there. Good thing that account was already flagged down but we don't know if another account will emerge and will try to verify itself and will make another looking legitimate airdrop from SEI or any other project that has taken the spotlight lately because of how successful their launching was. Having these criteria for having a blue checkmark makes it easier for these scammers to stay on this platform, X/Twitter.  Undecided

Eligibility criteria for the blue checkmark
Only accounts actively subscribed to X Premium are eligible to receive the blue checkmark.

Our team uses an eligibility criteria on when the checkmark is given to ensure we maintain the integrity of the platform. Your account must meet the following criteria to receive or retain the blue checkmark:

Complete: Your account must have a display name and profile photo

Active use: Your account must be active in the past 30 days to subscribe to X Premium

Security: Your account must have a confirmed phone number

Non-Deceptive:

Your account must have no recent changes to your profile photo, display name, or username (@handle)

Your account must have no signs of being misleading or deceptive

Your account must have no signs of engaging in platform manipulation and spam

As we look at the bottom part of non-deceptive. I wonder if they really are filtering all of these subscribed to their premium/blue checkmark. Because it looks easy for them to get verified and this is giving the idea for other scammers that they can do that and imitate and fool people with the use of other known projects.
1460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Security Tips on: August 21, 2023, 10:50:27 PM
7- Phising sites: I always bookmark my exchanges. Also before clicking the email links, I always check the url, I never click if it is not a "HTTPS". I also use WOT extension on Chrome to check if the link is safe or not...
I like to reiterate this one. Many newbies fell for such phishing sites especially those that are into airdrops and giveaways. When they've been provided a link by the developer or whoever runs those campaigns, they don't check it with due diligence and in the end they're ended being phished and all funds are gone. Scammers are wise so everyone needs to be wiser than them. And no one will be phished if you're not going to give your entire details that's being asked especially the critical ones like your seeds, private keys and other details that connects you to your wallet and other vital information. That's how these phishing sites are made for, to get those important information for them to gain access whatever they can that they think we're accessing also for our funds.

Aside from bookmarking, when you're searching website as you use the search engines. When you search keywords there of the websites you're searching, make sure that you're reading the short description that are on top of the search results and read the URL as well. If they're sponsored/advertised by that search engine and if there is a mispelling of the URL then that's a sign of a red flag and fake website.
