1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 12, 2023, 05:56:17 AM
Well, that is called greedy; it shows one of the traits of a greedy person when it comes to gambling. It's common to see or hear this kind of situation; people tend to be easily blinded by the money. That's why their bad thoughts will come out like that. That guy doesn't deserve the win, if I say so, but I don't have the right to say it or to judge the person. But that is a very wrong action towards your friends. If I were one of their friends, I would not stay friends with that person; I'd rather avoid him for life.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 11, 2023, 03:55:44 AM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.

People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.

I think what your friend did was to secure what he earned. For example, if he earned $2500, he would divide the profit so that one was for capital to be used in more gambling games and the other was to be secured. That's why he got sick because he regretted the money he lost. Imagine going from $1 to $250 and back to zero. That would be really depressing for your friend. That should be a lesson to him: not to be greedy; be smart and wise in handling your money or profit properly. and also be disciplined; don't put all that you've earned into gambling.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: October 10, 2023, 01:57:16 AM
I think it only applies in some countries or is allowed in some countries because in my country, TV channels are not allowed to advertise anything related to gambling, as we have what we call the "MTRCB," or "Movie and Television Review and Classification Board," which is in charge of reviewing anything that is shown on television. What you should also worry about is social media, because gambling advertisements are more prominent on that platform, and by clicking the link, your child could easily access the website, accidentally or not.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: October 09, 2023, 02:29:30 AM

This gambling section is really useful, not only for knowing how to gamble responsibly but also for sharing their gambling addiction experiences. It's really insightful when someone shares their story, and it leaves us second-guessing of our choice about gambling. We learn about gambling and its effects from the stories shared by people who have gambled before or are still gambling. We need more people who share their experience with gambling because more gambling ads are legal than awareness against gambling. Movies, shared experiences, and news are the sources from which we know about gambling, so learn from them and be aware.

Gambling had their own positive effect because of the more win from the gambling site. The gambler can start the business in the real life from the money he had received from the gambling site.If the gambling money was huge like 6000$,So the gambler use fifty percentage of the money to the gambling.Use the remaining money again to the gambling site.If he is so lucky,he will get the biggest win again in the same game.

What you're saying is impossible; you cannot call that positive effect if what you stated is not true. Maybe some achieve that, but not all, so keep on track with reality and stop giving such an idea that is good to be true. I'm not saying it's impossible, but don't engrave such an idea on the reader that sounds like a fantasy. Let's be real: even if you earn what you've said, it's not sure that he or she will use some of it for business. Not all people or gamblers are the same. "The more you win from the gambling site," that phrase is nearly impossible unless you have a lot of luck.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: October 08, 2023, 12:35:03 PM
No, not because I don't want it, but it is impossible. Even in a physical or digital casino, in that kind of industry, it is impossible to cheat because, of course, they do measures to make it impossible. The casino itself will not cheat you or trick you, probably because it's part of their business. I know you're all aware of this stuff, but in reality, most casinos do it. Instead of cheating, I'd rather wish to be super lucky in gambling, even if it's one big time. That's what I'm wishing for.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They know the truth but they don't want to accept it, publicly on: October 07, 2023, 08:41:32 AM

Will you still participate if money is not involved? Many people will easily quit if all casinos are to be turned into no-money games, isn't it?

Money is still the real reasons why we gamble, been addicted or not, mutual greed or not, all gambling is done to make more money or get some form of reward in the end.

No, let's be honest, money is the main purpose why there is casino, casino or gambling is an entertainment yes, but money makes the casino, casino or gambling to gambling, I could still play casino with friends and such but it will be more fun if theres a money involved. That is the most practical reasoning why gambling and casino is alive.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: October 06, 2023, 02:13:07 AM
i also feel like its more of a theoretical thing than practical. but i believe with discipline it can be achieved. where people get it wrong is that how do you estimate or separate the money that you can afford to lose? if you can sincerely answer this question then it will help you to gamble responsibly and not to be addicted.

Simply allocate a portion of your money to use in gambling or as a capital to start. In that way, only that money will be used to play, which is the meaning of "money you can afford to lose." Also, that portion of money will not affect your financial stability; it is also called boundary money, which means that's it; it is the only money you will spend in playing and will not overboard, to avoid a big loss. I think this should be a good practice for the gamblers or set this as their mindset, but they can only do that if they have discipline.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: October 05, 2023, 05:55:06 AM
Why does shitcoin have such a bad reputation? Because shitcoin tends to be a tool to scam newbies or other crypto currency holders, this coin tends to have little to no value so that it could easily attract investors as it is cheap, but that is their purpose; the more you buy, the more they earn. and this coin has no immediate discernible purpose. The diminished value of a shitcoin is often due to failed investor interest because it was not created in good faith or because its price was based on speculation. So it is not recommended to invest in this kind of coin if you think it has no purpose, no reason why it was created, or no solid project.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: October 05, 2023, 01:10:02 AM
It's definitely for showoff, but also some do it to attract or influence other people into gambling sites; they are giving the wrong idea to the viewers on how easy it is to earn in gambling sites such as that, but in reality it is not. In short, they usually do it to attract more players and deposit in that site, as well as for referrals. In my opinion, keeping a huge amount of money on a gambling site is not a good idea. There are many reasons why, but mainly that your money could be gone.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 04, 2023, 01:47:27 AM
Again why do you regret after putting smaller amounts and it happens the games went as planned and starts blaming yourself for not increasing your bet amount, maybe by now you could have cashed out big time. How do you control this thought over your ends do you keep to your regulations of always placing bets with some limits or you place bet according to your mind and regrets after losing that amount for not following your limits?

Well, I have a saying when I play gambling, or, let's say, a mindset: "Profit is a profit; it doesn't matter how big or small it is as long as I win, not lose." This phrase serves as my limiter or boundary when I gamble. why? so that I don't feel what you feel, like having regret for not raising your stake or blaming yourself for not putting in a much higher amount, because it could be greed, you never get contented, and the result could be bad, like betting more and increasing the amount, then suddenly you lose, then you lose more than what you get from winning. In short, don't be greedy, be happy. What you earn is a win no matter what amount it is as long as you don't lose any money, period.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 03, 2023, 01:25:37 PM
Of course, but as a hobby only, I am not going to waste a lot of money, especially at my age, and if I just have a good fortune at that age, I will never ever waste money if I don't have the capability to do so. Gambling will be a good and entertaining thing to do as you get older, playing with friends or with your family, simply playing card games, and such. Anyway, yeah, I will still gamble, but not too much.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two guys that have lost their Bitcoins forever on: October 03, 2023, 04:31:40 AM
Well, I think right now they regret it so much, but it's not their fault because they never knew bitcoin would increase in price so much. But think of it: the amount of bitcoin they have, it's a lot of bitcoin. We can say this bitcoin will be classified as "lost bitcoins." There is an article about How Much Bitcoin Is Lost Forever and How Did It Get Lost?  According to Cane Island investment manager Timothy Peterson, around six million BTC have been lost, a substantial chunk of Bitcoin's 21 million supply. which is a lot, and it tackles in the article what is the common reason why there is lost bitcoin, and as the situation happens between the two people mentioned on the topic, their case is the common reason. So imagine you are also one of them who lost a lot of potential fortunes. I guess you will also regret it for life. Anyway, what has been done is done; all they can do is regret it and hope they can still retrieve it, which is little to no longer possible.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 03, 2023, 02:00:34 AM
Wow, that's so greedy of you! Hahaha, not just once you did that; are you sure that would be the last one? because it only shows that you can't control your greed. I think you better stay away from casinos and save up your money from doing signature campaigns. I know I don't have the right to say this to you, but if you still continue to do that thing, you are wasting your money and opportunity to invest in much more sure profit. Try trading or investing in crypto, which has a higher chance of multiplying your earnings from your signature campaign. So be wise next time and do things carefully before your greed consumes you again.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My regret for not adopting bitcoin earlier. on: October 02, 2023, 01:42:55 PM
You're not alone. That is also my biggest mistake. I asked myself why I didn't know about bitcoin earlier, reflecting on the past. What I do is play only and stuff, and at some point I encountered the word "bitcoin," but I ignored it. If I were just be more futuristic, then maybe my life will be different from now. But of course, not all will be granted a fortune; it takes time for a person to have their turn to be successful. Just take the risk and don't waste the opportunity. But right now I do crypto stuff, mainly bitcoin, because I see opportunity in this technology or currency. So to others who regret knowing about bitcoin earlier, wait for the opportunity and just invest time and effort.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What encouraged your continuity in Bitcoin investment and Bitcointalk forum? on: October 02, 2023, 05:30:18 AM

I’d like to know what motivates you to invest in a speculative asset like Bitcoin?

Well, I kind of invested time and effort into bitcoin to earn, so at the end, I will still invest in bitcoin by either trading, flipping, or doing any kind of work to earn through bitcoin. And also, at this time, investing in bitcoin is a good idea as it has a lower price, which is good because if I have a good prediction, I could make a lot of money.

What is the driving force that encourages your continuity in the Bitcointalk forum?

There's a lot of opportunity here in the forum, as well as knowledge that you could get simply by browsing and reading interesting topics. I could also get the opinions of the other members in this forum, which could be useful to me in the near future.

1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: October 02, 2023, 02:22:28 AM
People like those (me) who don't gamble for fun have this question to answer: how will you feel when you don't have money to stake a game that you predicted and better winning games you predicted played the way you predicted it and when you checked the winning was something that could have changed your life for ever if you didn't gambled again after such winning?

This question can be very tough to answer, but believe me, many people won't stop thinking of that if it happened to them, so I want to know your opinion about how you would feel if it happened to you.

If it happens to me, I can't stop thinking of it, but definitely one day I will stop thinking about it and see it as history or not yet, my time for big wins just like how it happened to me when I lost a bet that would have given me long-term smiles.

If the people like you not ready to take the gambling as for the fun,the better way for you to quit the gambling. The best way is you need to do the bitcoin trading, then you can earn some regular income from the trading. If you expected the gambling as the full time work,it will not be the full time work because of the uncertainty in the winning.

The post talks about what if you have a good prediction or luck in gambling but don't have money or capital to start, what will you do? You didn't quite understand the context of the posts. But to answer the main question, what will you do in that situation? Well, I guess if you really don't have money to stake, then you have many options: borrow money from your friends and relatives, but this is risky because what if your prediction is wrong? then you have to go to debt now. Second, you can do loans, but the disadvantage is the same as the first one. But if you are really sure or have high accuracy about your prediction, then take the risk. We have a saying that "risk takers win a lot," but also consider the consequences before proceeding with your decisions. The best option is to wait for money that you can afford to lose. There will be more opportunities to come, so don't rush. It's better to gamble with certainty than rush because you want to earn.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: October 01, 2023, 02:32:04 PM
What I dislike the most about the behaviours of addict gamblers is their lack of discipline, and because of that, many more problems may arise. You see, "discipline" is the one that slowly disappears for those addicted to gambling, not just for themselves but for others as well. It can lead to stealing, asking for more money from others, and sometimes crimes. Without their ability to think straight and have discipline, everything will get worse, and more misery will follow.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: October 01, 2023, 11:22:30 AM
Addiction and success, I think, don't go well together. I mean, addiction mostly has negative effects, and similar to gambling addiction, anyone who's addicted can't think straight and will do more gambling without thinking about the consequences. Maybe professional gamblers can control their addiction to gambling because they have the skills and knowledge to handle such situations. So I think addiction to gambling can't produce successful people.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: September 30, 2023, 12:22:58 PM
Is there any effective way to make sure youths stays where the are told to stay instead of looking for quick money? Gambling isn't the solution to poverty it will possibly drown you deep into more poverty.

Best solution? Parental guidance simple as that, without the correct guidance of their parents then they will be exposed in not just gambling but any crimes that they can learn. Solution to poverty? Well maybe what I will say is easier that said, I think there 2 main factors to blame why people be in poverty, 1st government, 2nd the person itself, I will not elaborate more. So I agree gambling isn't the solution for poverty it is only a hobby for those fortunate that waste their money for fun and entertainment, for those who don't? Then it could be the start of their misery life.
