1461  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 17, 2023, 09:45:53 PM
If we are really going to go by the preference to what the members of the community want I don't think it will be to the favour of the casinos because everyone will want to have a rack back on every gambling attempts he made in form of a bonus which is obviously impossible, we have to consider the casino's interest as well before giving our suggestions so that the two parties will both benefited from this altogether, in doing this they need to work by thier own budget and set a criteria to meeting up to the standard for receiving bonus regardless of its kind, and i will like the old casino active participants who belong to the forum as well have higher priority in doing this
Knowing about everyone perspective about what they really want is not a bad idea and this could help any project team to be more focus on what customers really want to see in a casino so it can help increase users' experience so it can attract more traffic for the casino.
Having a better users experience and interest at hand is one of the paramount reason why many project team are also looking for reviews from different customers so they can work more on what gamblers actually want.
A very common approach of a certain business which it would really be that standard that they would really be asking out these things but it would be better if they would really just simply look into their competitions
way of giving out bonuses whether it would be totally be copied or they would really be mixing up something that the masses hadnt been able to tried out before and this is what they are trying to look after.
Its not bad to ask publicly to get up those precise answers and responses which they could immediately applied it out.The most important thing on here is to have that something
that looks interesting or hasnt been offered on the market before.
1462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 16, 2023, 11:58:30 PM
~
Whether we like it or not, manipulation really happens but we never make this as an excuse not to trust Bitcoin and we have to stop thinking that it was already controlled by a group of people (whales).

I agree, manipulation in all financial markets, including the cryptocurrency market, is an unfortunate reality. But don't let it cloud your judgement, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are like the wild child of finance, they have the potential to change the game and shake things up. And that's something worth getting excited about.

I think price manipulation and whales are mutually reinforcing to create high value for bitcoin, plus panic news makes small amount of btc owners sell, but ...... I dunno it's too complicated to actually trace because of the unpredictable state of dicrypto it's too anonymous
We do know on how whales do move but there's no way on how to point it out because sudden spikes and pumps are always unacknowledgeable or something that we cant notice until we've seen it already happened.
This is what makes things even more harder to predict and speculate no matter how good your TA's of FA's into your analysis and this is what makes it very challenging.
No doubt that they do really have that control when it comes to BItcoins price but of course there's still that influence in overall market or community demand and attached
up some emotions into their buying and selling decisions.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: January 16, 2023, 11:33:30 PM
What are the casinos that you have tried so far? I've been playing in crypto casinos for a long timr now and so far I have had good experience since I'm playing with trusted and reputable casinos.
Of course, there will be times when we could lose and times when we win but the result will always be unpredictable. I suggest that you visit Ann threads here so you'll have an idea about the legitimacy of the casinos here.
Maybe the crypto casino he plays at is different from the ones we are used to, so he still feels confused about finding the right casino. But at least he can start by reading every thread from each casino in this forum and find many casinos that already have many good ratings from members here. He also found that many of us have found trusted and reputable casinos so we don't have to worry about anything, even if we are asked to do KYC by them. But hopefully, he can find it after getting some advice from us here so he can start playing gambling comfortably in these casinos.
Each of us does really have that different preference and interest when it comes on which platforms do really be able to caught up our interest and attention. So to speak on where there are lots of sites
that are currently existing as of today specially on this forum which you could really make out some choices and this is where you do test it out every one of them if you arent that easily get
contented on dealing on sites that you are playing on.Just be careful on dealing with those so not known sites because chances of scam and hacks is high.
So better stick on what most people been recommending specially into this forum.
1464  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: January 16, 2023, 10:22:59 PM
Saint Valentine's Day is approaching. I suggest either to start saving right now, to divorce or dump (but marry or find a second half after Feb 14 obligatory).
-----

Jokes aside. Whether it is Xmas, New Year, Bday or Valentine's Day - these are not reasons to go bankrupt. Remember, it is better to give present from heart, but not based on a price tag.

Bolded part which i do really agree into this word or piece of advise that it wouldnt really be that necessary for it to be an expensive one if you are trying out to gift someone but there are really times
which it cant really be avoided for you to do so because it did really become part of todays society on showing off on how much those things cost off if we do speak about presents which someone could
able to brag on.If you are really that someone whose tight on the budget then it would be just ideal that you should put up limitations on buying up things so that you wouldnt be finding
yourself to be broke later on.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 16, 2023, 09:54:37 PM
This is the reason why I will never invest in buying those Casascius coins... you just don't know if the creator of those coins has access to the Private key. They usually tell you that it is done electronically and that they have some kind of method that hides the Private key from the creator, but I think it is all bullshit.  Roll Eyes
I never looked at how the whole collectible coins work. But it could be done better than loading the address by the creator.

Well, in this case, it was bullshit. If he kept all those private keys in some way, he was preparing for fraud from the very beginning.

We have all seen countless things about collectibles here on the forum, I guess it's interesting in some way but I never had a passion to buy one or to get more included in any way. Looks like it was a good choice...

And what will happen with collectibles now? One addicted gambler ruined the entire business!

Yes, it was intentional since from the beginning because if you dont really have the plans on committing fraud or hacking then you wont really be putting up into your mind on keeping or knowing those
private keys considering that lots of customers had been trusting up on you.You had just messed up your entire reputation because of that. This is why its really hard to believe that he dont have
any intents and blames out on gambling addiction but im not really seeing on that way because keeping keys and selling or giving it out on customers arent something
ethical way for you to done on.
1466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 16, 2023, 08:58:52 PM
when the market is still in bearish mode there will be no signals that work well, there will be no valid ones because market sentiment cannot be predicted. But when the market is in a bullish mode, many signals will start to appear because the bull market makes several signals work well.
During an extreme bull market, the signals provide resistance areas at a specific point, but the market keeps breaking them and vice versa during bear market. So you can't exactly say that signals work well during bull mode and not in bearish times. Actually they dont work out any of the times. However I'd say they work during a sideways market since here traders sell at resistance and buy at support a lot of times before they loose everything during sudden breakouts in either direction 😁
I take every signal with a grain of salt.
The effectiveness of trading signals can vary depending on market conditions. In a bear market, it can be more challenging for analysts to provide accurate predictions as market sentiment is generally more negative and uncertain. However, during a bull market, signals may be more likely to work well as the market is generally more positive and trending upward.

As per the known fact that signals may not work well during extreme market conditions, such as during a bubble or a crash, as the market can be highly volatile and unpredictable. Sideways market is a good point, as the market is more stable and the signals can be relatively accurate.
When can say its effective if it goes along with the market trend or market condition on which we could really make it count to be a good and working kind of strategy but we know that this market does have lots of variations when it comes to its behavior and there's no such pattern is able to be created and this is what makes it pain in the ass when it comes on making technical analysis on which its always not been easy.
Signals arent really that bad to look at for some people who do made them out but eventually you could make one too which it would really be just that the same because everything that is been
thrown out would be neither be working or not and that would be based up on market condition.

1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can players bet on their own games on: January 13, 2023, 07:37:46 PM
I’m curious to know if there’s any players (fighters, footballers….) who have been caught betting on themselves or on their own team to lose or win, i know it’s not allowed for any player as a part of their contract for example Ufc fighters are strictly forbidden from betting on their own fights. And the reason is pretty obvious since the player can easily manipulate the final score of whatever he is playing or fighting.
But surely in small or unknown leagues there must be some people doing it. For example a goalkeeper of small devision league in Africa where some bookmakers cover betting on the match can create an account on it, if they ask for KYC verification can easily ask his friend or family member to do it for him. And can earn much money by letting his team lose. Fighters can manipulate that even more.
So i would like to know if you heard of any player been caught doing that? and if my example is right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think players is prohibited to this thing. I remembered one time this actually happens in an esport, a certain player who mistakenly announce that they are making bets in their own game and they gets a fine worth a couple of grand, though it is not too big but then we know that some games this rule is prohibited, and it will also affects on how they will behave and do the game. There's a money in the line, they lose focus to the game and they will going to focus in the money.
Yes, and lets put up some example.
https://kotaku.com/pro-esports-team-analyst-caught-betting-on-his-own-team-1793025674

This one is pertaining on their Team analyst which means that it would really be particularly be applied on entire team hierarchy.I dont know if their relatives and loved ones
would really be included but as we know that it would be still that included.

Cant see ih physical sports though if there are ones who had been caught.Trying to search up.
1469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 12, 2023, 11:54:21 PM
The things that the new casinos can do is make a program that allows every time you lose to be converted into a bonus, that bonus can be playable and not be a way to withdraw, that works only to make higher bets like that. as a leverage and that each time the money that was deposited is withdrawn, the force of that bonus goes down, that way is very nice to make a sustainable system and the players would like to have that facility, because that way they will not mind losing a lot, because they know that they are using it for the same player, it is like recycling money, the casino wins but the player also stays and has fun.

For sure this kind of system or idea had already touched up these gambling platforms but why until now they arent really that still applying it? because it would really just lessen up the time
or make it slow on making revenue because people do keep on trying out to prolong their gambling sessions but the revenue are still the same.We know that this business does really
mind off on how to make profits in most fastest or efficient manner which it isnt really that surprising that they would really be going into the fastest route.
If ever they would consider this one out then it would be good to see.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 12, 2023, 10:22:41 PM
I tried to ask ChatGPT if it can predict the winner of an NBA game and this is what it said:
Quote
I am not able to predict the winner of NBA games because I am a language model trained on a large dataset of text and do not have access to real-time information about the games or the teams. Additionally, there are many factors that can affect the outcome of a game, such as injuries, team dynamics, and the performance of individual players, that are difficult to predict.

I guess that alone is enough answer whether AI can predict outcomes or not. Maybe there are some here who can crack the code and can get something from the ChatGPT, but I guess relying on statistics is way better than relying on AI when it comes to predicting outcomes. Another question is that, can you trust your money to an AI? ChatGPT isn't updated and the information that it is giving to us are the ones that it got until 2021 which means what happened in 2022 and this year (if there are some) aren't in the ChatGPT therefore, it is a bit of outdated. Nevertheless, give it at least 3-5 years then we will see a better one than what we are seeing right now.
Let’s just say that AI may be good in some aspects when it comes to giving accurate answers but I don’t see it working when it comes to gambling predictions. Especially in sports betting where everything relies on team member’s performance and to say that they comes with uncertain moves, so every details in it would never be accurately predicted. It’s still best to settle with our own good and practical analysis based on real events, especially that we are betting our own money on this.
When we do talk about speculative approach or something that do really talks about in this regard then AI isnt something that you could really rely or depend on.When it comes to information seeking
and facts then no doubt that these things are really indeed helpful but on speculations and presumptions then it isnt something that they could well handled and there's no much better compared
to human beings which are really that much better when it comes to handling out and making up guesses basing on the current events that they are seeing or witnessing which
is something that AI couldnt be able to handle it out on point.
1471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 12, 2023, 09:50:48 PM
For me personally investing for a long time is the main thing, and day trading or even scalping is another way to make a profit. When I trade it is very different when I invest, I mean in this case analyzing the market will take much longer because we have to predict where the market is going in a relatively short time. And more indicators are used to be more precise in predicting the next price.
Indeed, the benefits you get will be felt on the same day, but it's worth the risk as you said. If we lack mentality then it is not recommended to do day trading like this.
Its a personal choice on what you would really be dealing with since not all are really that good when it comes to scalping or short trade which they would rather decide to hold than to take risk on something that they arent really be able to be good at or something that they could handle it out and this is why people would decide that they will really just hold instead.Of course holding wont really be that simple as well specially
if you do able to see this market which does move on a random or no path manner which it would leave you some questions in mind on how these things could happen.
You do blink nor sleep you would be potentially missing out some price actions.
I want to think positively for people who are always day trading because of course they already know that this is trading and there needs to be capital both in terms of finance and in terms of knowledge because only stupid people who are involved in day trading do not have knowledge or do not study first formerly.
As for investing for the long term, I think some of us must have experienced this condition before, at least once. and of course they can look in the mirror from before, no matter how tough the conditions are, in the end we're back to the point where it's nice and green.
We cant really be look like this forever where everything is red or moving sideways or a condition which the price is really somewhat that stagnant.Going back into this present time and period
where the market do make out some green movement even though it is really just on that small percentage increase but at least this do really shows that to those who had taken up some risk
on getting some coins on cheap times are really making some money now.Even though it is really just that small but still considerable basing up on the risk that you had put it in.
Hold or actively been engaging then it would really be depending into your preference as a trader/investor.
1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Your way of living the wage what you need to live normal life on: January 12, 2023, 08:59:16 PM
Commenting on and proposing solutions to current problems is always simple. However, in fact, it is extremely difficult. I concur that apartment prices are frequently excessive in big cities. Aside from that, renting a condo or apartment is expensive due to the limited years of use of the building. Rents are also expensive because it costs a lot to buy land in a big city.

I do not have many ideas for the UK and Europe, but people in Canada and the United States can look for work and it is not hard unless someone is selective. In addition, there is always the option to relocate to other states in order to obtain a wage that is sufficient for the standard of living.
Relocating might really sound that simple but it isnt something that you could really be done easily considering about the expenses and all other things in consideration, then it wont really be that simple.
It cant be that surprising about being that selective considering that we do much prefer on having that higher salary and of course it should really be in line with our skills and experience.
For most of the time on which people do end up on having no choice considering that not all countries does have ample amount of jobs to be offered and most of the time
its not that easy to find one since competition is high.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 11, 2023, 11:59:23 PM
Casino owners of these businesses could really get away out of possible accusations that they arent being fair or telling the truth even if the complainant would really be piling some charges or case against them.
Why? They do really have the money for them to clear up the mess and thats the sad reality.Unless if they cant able to bribe the handling officials or something in justice department for the said situation
then someone could have the chance but its unlikely to happen. This is why its really sad to think that winners of those life changing amounts would turn out to be still a dream
even if they had really won it but it was taken back. Sad.
1474  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX Exchange might be brought back online - Would you use it again? on: January 11, 2023, 10:59:25 PM
Affected users or investors would only be just simply minding on getting their funds or investment back and on the time that it would happen then im 101% sure that they would flock and stay away with this company.
If i were to ask then i wouldnt really be trusting up the second time.Once trust been broken then it would be hardly to be given back. They have done something which is something that shouldnt be done.
You cant assure that it wont be happening on the second time.I cant blame out for those affected users or investors to have that final decision or even into those potential customers.
They might be showing off on things that should be done but it wont really be that enough.

1476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 11, 2023, 08:46:58 PM

Whatever strategy, either hold or do day trade or scalping, the intention remain the same, gaining profits is what traders are targeting
and if they can achieve that then it's a good trade for them.

Patience is highly practicable in this strategy, holding from the bear market to the bull season would turned out profitable only when one chooses the good projects to invest in. Scalping also brings profits on the table but it's very risky since it deal with massive timing and observation of the candle sticks. Scalping also leads to panic if one is still a newbie in the market, motion is not stable and very difficult to deal with, with the up and downs of the market, one can easily make the wrong decisions which will lead to either lose or liquidation of trading accounts.
If we are not good at trading, I think holding is the best option to take.
In this bear season, we need to be careful in making decisions because this will have a huge impact not only it cause losses but also it will affect mentally. Well, we can say it was a huge challenge for us until when we hold but I was sure the bull season will come soon, and get bug rewards from patiently waiting for it. It is really need not to get affected by the FUDs.
For me personally investing for a long time is the main thing, and day trading or even scalping is another way to make a profit. When I trade it is very different when I invest, I mean in this case analyzing the market will take much longer because we have to predict where the market is going in a relatively short time. 1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman won $43million but was offered a steak dinner instead of her winnings on: January 11, 2023, 06:41:43 PM
If the Gambling Commission has been involved in this obvious act of denying the woman her win, then it's almost a certain that the case is already lost. It's hard to win against a government entity with this kind of case even though the circumstances on how she was denied the win is absolute clownery. No matter how long this case gets, if the Gambling Commission already put out their decision, that will surely be what the courts will always follow.

Imagine seeing on the screen you win that amount, only for the casino to tell you that the machine is broken and that all they can do is offer you a steak dinner. That must have hurt, and I will surely hurt somebody if I were the woman that won that amount.

if the woman is not happy with the casino's decision, she can hire a lawyer and request the casino to produce the valid audit done or how they verify that the machine had a problem during the time of her game. because it means, all the previous players had been screwed by that same machine and just eating their money because of the faulty machine. they can actually make a case towards the casino if she finds those people who lost without a battle by using such machine.
She could definitely do that and would be asking out some cctv footage or bet history or something that would be justifying out that it was really indeed broken and not really just some made up stories just to avoid
on paying up that woman with her winnings. She could really contest it out if she wanted to but of course it would be considering on the funds that she has because its not really that simple on making some
legal interrogation against some company if you dont have the money or funds to do so even if you do have the chance on winning the case.Their reasoning isnt really just that too realistic
or an obvious excuse i should say.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 10, 2023, 11:59:29 PM
It would be interesting only in the sense that AI and more specifically ChatGPT what it does is that it collects information based on what you ask and shows you a big text as an answer to what you have asked. This can be important and a really good feature to use for us sport bettors that don't have time to check all the predictions websites ourselves and ChatGPT can come in handy as it can show us information collected from all these sites so we can immediately have an overview of what other people think for the event we are about to bet on.
^Probably I will give it a try, there is nothing wrong with that. If the AI will give a result the same as my prediction, probably I will follow AI. It needs time to prove if the AI gives consistency in results. But if proven that AI is not reliable in prediction, I will definitely rather use my own predictions rather than rely on the AI's hand. To be honest, I did not use AI or any bots to predict betting, I always have my own research before putting my fund into a betting place and make sure I have a background on the players. So it depends on the result if I am satisfied with it.
If you are really that curios then no ones gonna stop for you to try since its  your money had been used up then you do have the full rights on doing so and find for yourself or see on your very own eyes on whats the reality with these kind of AI betting. Its never been effective nor really that works, if it turns out to be a winning bet then its just pure coincidence, there's no way that AI
could really be able to tell on some unseen circumstances or events which humans could able to point out which means that it cant be that precise.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 10, 2023, 10:59:10 PM
It isn't hard if you're living alone, but it becomes a problem when you have a lot if mouths to feed and bills to pay. Saving isn't for everyone obviously, and before you can start to save you need to have some form of safety net in the event that your salary won't allow you to pay all the bills and put some food on the table. This is why a lot of people nowadays opt to take two jobs just to get by. After everything is paid for, there still wouldn't be enough to keep as a decent savings. Just imagine getting $4000 a month, and $2500 already goes to bills and rent/mortgage, how can you live off of $1500 for food and transportation with a family of 4? That's not including education funds too.

If wages can br increased then perhaps we can encourage a lot of people to save. But in reality, even single people cannot live off of minimum wage and still have some decent money left for anything that they want nowadays.
Yes, on the time that you do have some mouths to feed then it would really be hard for you to save up and you would really be prioritizing those who are in need specially your family and this is the sad truth.
You wont be minding if you do have some savings as long you do make your family do able to eat for a particular day and this would really be your priority rather than on having a savings.
So we cant really blame out people for them not to save up because this is situational and there are things which we cant really be able to stop or to avoid
and that what makes the situation hard.
1480  Other / Archival / Re: online lottery games on: January 10, 2023, 09:53:06 PM
I checked and found out togel lotto is popular in Singapore and it involves determining the outcome of four numbers from a long range of numbers ranging from 0000 and 9999. To be honest it is difficult making such prediction with this large numbers, no strategy nor technique can make any reasonable guess. It will take pure luck to get a number that matches the one drawn.
The location of the of the site doesn't reakly boarders me vut rhe manner at which oos want to go about geting the correct numbe, mahmgic to me is not real abd I don't trust or or believe in any form of number formulation claiming to ve correct score or corrct number in lottery but I slightly believe in luck.
It will be even more difficult if the lottery can produce four numbers because each row of numbers can produce many possible numbers that can come out as winners.
And yes, getting the desired row of four numbers requires a high level of luck.
But even so, people will still try their luck by calculating the numbers to find the right number.
But some people will buy the lottery with no hope of winning and only get random numbers but it turns out they are the ones who can win it.
However, there are people who do the calculations before they decide which combination of numbers to choose as the bet, don't understand how they will calculate and whether doing the calculations will make their chances of winning bigger really don't understand this. It's just that gamblers will always try to be able to win, do a lot of calculations and everything, but he won't be able to take into account other factors such as luck.
I don't know if you already know, but in my place, this calculation is called permutation, I wouldn't call it calculations though, since as i understand, they just try to look at the previous numbers that came out as the winning numbers at that particular period in previous times, though I don't know how they reason it to be possible, but they tend to believe that there is a chance that those numbers that came out as winning numbers at that particular time two, three or even five years ago, is likely to come out as the winning numbers again, its just like expecting or predicting that something that happened in January 2020, will happen again in January 2023.

Its just crazy.

It is really just crazy on where some people do really end up on believing into something which its never been that something new if we do speak about those repetition of past results or outcomes.
We know the odds and chances for lottery games to pop out which it is really that slim basing up on combinations which are possible to be chosen. It is really just people are really that fan
to have those kind of so called permutations which you do say but there were no solid evidences or proofs that it does really work or something like that.
