1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: My fear in fall of Bitcoin. on: February 13, 2023, 10:57:45 PM
To be successful you need to make trade-offs, take risks. That is the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people. While you fear the future of bitcoin, all of us here believe in the future of bitcoin. If bitcoin succeeds as we hope, we will have a lot of profit, and those who are afraid not to believe in it will regret it. Fear does not make you successful.
Successful people and failed people are clearly different, although some people who fail are people who have tried several things but are still not lucky to be successful. But there are some people who are considered failures, those who don't dare to do anything because there is still fear when thinking about future problems, something that is still uncertain. For example, they still doubt the future of cryptocurrency, but if they still doubt the future of Bitcoin, which has been developing for more than 10 years, this is very wrong in my opinion.
There are things which arent meant for us no matter how hard we do try and persevere but we do know that there are ones who do easily just give up and quit after some several loss.Fear of losing money is normal since we do need money and we are really that afraid on things that make us on losing money and this is why other people do really just avoid because they cant just bare up with the risk.I said its normal but you wouldnt really be able to progress or enhance your life if you wont really be taking further step or something that do talks about risk taking. We are all of course needing that so that we would be having the chance
on having a good life when it comes to financial aspect.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 13, 2023, 10:09:47 PM
I personally feel that they do. In my childhood I always wanted my dad to become shop owner so I could eat tonnes of snack for free. I think it's very similar with casino platform owners. They probably loved gambling, they always spent their life on it and probably in time they thought it could be very profitable business to own one... Its probably logical reasoning. I think they may decrease their gambling play time after they established casino. Casino owners are generally getting rich very quickly.
Maybe he plays because he has easy access to his own site but maybe not because as the owner he is already preoccupied with all kinds of developments and strategies to be able to develop gambling sites even bigger but what is certain is that gambling site owners are people who initially is a gambler and went into this business because he knew the amount of profit that could be obtained.
the owner of the casino is a man who used to be a gambler, I like this statement.
there is truth if the casino owner was once a gambler who had many years of experience in gambling and knew that the casino business was very profitable and could get rich quickly. but I doubt a little if the casino owners still gamble.
because if the casino owner is someone who has been a gambler in the past, surely he has a lot of experience and knows that gambling will only waste money continuously and in the end he will not gamble but chooses to keep himself busy thinking about how to develop his casino business and be able to earn income even bigger.
It would be no sense on running a business if you arent that a gambler because you wont really be able to get on how to deal or on how to handle up your business if you dont have the slightest idea on how do things works. This is why it would really be that normal that they are really that a gambler before they tend to run or build a business like this which is according into their interest.About on how they do play?
For sure it would be in moderation whether they would be playing on their own site or into others but most likely they would be playing on their own since losing wont really be that much of an issue.
For the sake of entertainment then it would be just the same.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 13, 2023, 09:00:10 PM
^^^ But that's the point. You can't easily steal someone else's bitcoins, even if you shoot the guy dead.

In Bitcoin meetings, nobody has to tell anybody about the intricate details of how many bitcoins they have. In fact, nobody expects anybody to tell this stuff. All they would be doing is one-on-one discussing about bitcoin strategies, and general strategies for financial planning.

Church meetings do similar things, without people always being forced to divulge the intricacies of their family life (their bitcoin passwords).

Cool

You can't show anyone the balance of your application where you keep the balance of cryptocurrencies, even to friends. Of course, it is impossible to talk about specific amounts with strangers - even if only you have the password to your wallet, but for a lot of money people can harm you. You will easily find stories where Bitcoin millionaires were tortured, kidnapped, and the like. It is better to keep a distance, and limit communication via the Internet.

Also, mostly those hackers, if they find out that you have that huge amount of bitcoin, they will start to hunt you, and you are the target until you get baited, no matter how cautious you are. That is why it is better to keep it secret, but I think there is no one boasting about their holdings if it is true. Even I won't be saying anything about my holdings to strangers, even if it is in the bitcoin community, as it is for our safety. Stay lowkey, and you'll be safe for sure.
Stay lowkey and be humble and dont boast up your current holdings and assets because we do know that hackers and criminals are everywhere. If you dont like for yourself to be that putting in danger then its better to shut up your mouth and continue on what you are doing. Its better to be silent but you do have tons of money or on what ways you are getting some income. It isnt really that shocking that people would really be that
cautious when it comes into their identity since we do know on what would be the risk and we do know on how people would be taking up some advantage into those opportunities just to scam out people
or do really make out that advantage.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone making 4 or 5 digits (USD) monthly from Crypto Sports betting? on: February 13, 2023, 08:31:44 PM
Sportybet.com is the common betting site i often used, it's secure, transparent and reliable. No withdrawal issues and no stress during kyc processing.
And secondly, stake.com, duelbits.com i have known these gambling site to be a trusted and reliable site without any bad records, btw i don't think people do use sport betting to earn a living rather could be taken for an alternatives means of income which is not guaranteed nor certain.

So far there is no individual who will race their hands claiming they earn 4-5 digitals monthly in sports betting. There could be but are not bragging about it. High rollers are very private as well.

If a person is a sports fan and has been following the sport and the athletes, I don't see any reason why he can't cast a prediction of which team will win. We are always bias in watching games.
We are all bias when it comes to moneyline which is really that a very common approach. Its true that there are people or bettors who do earn huge amount but they wont really be tending to brag about
it considering that it could really impose up some risk since we are talking huge money on here.We do know the risk and also its not really that just right for you to tell about
on how much you do win and on how much you do own overall. 4 to 5 digits arent that impossible if we do speak about monthly. We do have whale
bettors out there.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 11, 2023, 08:43:52 PM
A gambler may indulge in some of the things mentioned at the beginning of gambling. Because it is very as usual to get into this type of addiction after the initial introduction to gambling. Especially when a new gambler gets a few wins in betting, his desire to win will increase manifold. And if he loses, he also tries to recover it. These signs are seen by almost all gamblers. But when the gambler can achieve everything with his skill, he gradually learns responsible gambling.
If you are really that a type of person whose really that impulsive when it comes to gambling or losing money then this activity and leisure time isnt really for you because you would really be just making yourself getting wrecked on the time on which emotions would really be taking over.We know that each person doesnt really have the same self control and discpline towards themselves on which it would really be just normal
that they would really be having that different approach when it comes to things. Some could able to get away mid-way but most of the time people would stay untile
they would be busting up their entire balance which is really a common scenario.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: February 11, 2023, 08:13:41 PM
My friend's story sends me a signal: no matter how much I earn right now, try to keep my job and souce of income stable. I am also a family man and have responsibilities. Anything bad can also happen to me so I have to be prepared to the unforseen problems, although I am doing fine now. Make hay while the sun shines. If you have any advice for my friend, please let me know. Thank you.
Lots of people do share up with the same problem when it comes on relying too much into their job and doesnt mind about on having some other sources on which on the time that things turns out to be fucked up due
to illness or simply being fired or laid off then you would definitely be messing up your life if you dont have back up plans and this is why its really that important that you should always set back up plans and always
have that savings so that if things turns out to be bitter then you could always have the back up plans even if you dont have the money since you had no job.Try to have  lots of multiple sources of income
while you still can and dont really be that dependent on the current job you do have, there's always risks and there's no assurance that we do have in life that would be lasting up forever.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is Gambling? ChatGPT Responses. on: February 11, 2023, 07:58:17 PM
When we're bored, we can ask anything to chatgpt. All of its answers are based on the facts that are given to it but I wonder how they have programmed this AI.
It's like almost every response that it gives is near accurate but not all of it. If it's related to this topic asking a bot about what gambling is, we'll just get generic answers from it.

The AI is continuously learning through neural networks. It's like training it to speak over and over again based on the inputs that it's receiving from users and from its original data set. It's programmed in a way to learn just like the brain, and its AI is really intelligent to get accurate results/responses to whatever question it's thrown at. For the gambling aspect, well it's a pretty basic concept, and it just needs to interchange between words that it deems appropriate to use based on the nature of the question.
Yes, it would really be basing up on what are the things that had been fed up which it would really be just a common response i would say and just like the rest been saying that it is really just that a very common definition if we do speak about on whats gambling. All of those responses are really that based up on someones definition that had been input up and there's no shocking thing about it.
People nowadays are really that too mindful about dealing up with something even with the basic or the most easiest thing to be done but still due to curiosity they do really love
on attaching things specially into these AI's.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 10, 2023, 09:57:36 PM
I visited an uncle in another city. His birth year was 1960. He has been an avid gambler for a long time and frequently visits brick-and-mortar casinos. He currently wants to test out an crypto casino. He has heard a great deal about it. He did, however, note that despite possessing the cash, he has no knowledge of how to use cryptocurrency for gambling but would really like to. I would like to suggest that crypto casinos put a video tutorial explaining how to use cryptocurrencies for gambling on their website.

What other features would you like to see in crypto casinos for senior citizens?
Doesnt need that much when we do talk about tutorial or some sort because you could simply explain to them on how they would be able to get some bitcoins or crypto via their fiat on which
depositing on a certain platform doesnt really that much of a huge problem or not really that hard.Once they do know the basics of making transactions in between deposits and withdrawals
then playing on online casinos wont really be that a problem.

This is why its better to teach him about the basic principles on how to acquire crypto and the rest is to teach on how to pass it up on an online casino account
which it isnt really that hard to understand.

Teaching and mentoring him will be easier than searching for elderly features that don't exist yet. Much better if you will explain the risks of crypto gambling and told him the basics of using it. It will be hard for him to understand if he is not familiar with the usage of crypto so you might be needing time and patience to explain everything. Just help him with the account creation and at least show him the step-by-step procedures to start up crypto gambling.
Understanding crypto isn't really that hard even if you are old and hard to process out specially on techy things around or something that they havent encountered it yet.Its true that this might be a long time
on trying out to familiarize on how things works. Its true that there are no gambling sites that gives out tutorials on how they would be making deposits or trying out to show the basics on how to credit out
their coins into the site for themto be able to play.Just like on what said above that it is really just a simple or minor operation which it isnt really that much hard to understand
and knowing as long your uncle isnt just too old for him to understand up things.
1309  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web Browsers begun to have inbuilt Cryptocurrency Wallets on: February 09, 2023, 11:18:27 PM
I was aware of the Opera Crypto browser, but I had no idea that they had integrated a crypto wallet into the default version of their browser. I haven't used Opera for a long time, this might be reason enough to give it another try.
I used opera way back 4 years ago, but it doesn't have such features connected to a cryptocurrency wallet. Furthermore, web browser wallets have a high average chance of being hacked.

And most of the time web browsers need to be updated because if you don't update them right away there is a chance for hackers to get in and steal sensitive information, and so on.

So for me, I won't use that, instead of using that, like you I would prefer the hardware wallet no matter how expensive it is, and at least it's safe.
Maybe it didn't 4 years ago, but opera has one now, however metamask is still by far better and superior. I have been using opera and meta together for years and years now and I have to say that it is quite good and it hasn't let me down in a long time.

I know that not many people think that it could be sane to trust just one wallet, and they are in favour of having multiple wallets and that way it should be a lot better but the reality is that we shouldn't really be looking for multiple wallets or just diversify your portfolio not just in content but also in storage, but I think outside of ledger which is a hardware wallet, this is the best way to protect your money.
We do already have metamask and trustwallet which it had been trusted up by the masses already when it comes on storing up their assets or coins which i do also say the same thing. It cant really be just
avoided for someone to tbe that in doubt on something new but basing up on Opera's reputation as one of known browser out there then i doubt that they would do such bullshit move
about having their wallet to be not that secure or do something stupid. Therefore, its not bad to make use of their wallet integration too but i do still have doubts
and same as the rest.  Cheesy
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What most gamblers do. on: February 09, 2023, 09:53:53 PM
I want to ask a question. And I need serious answer from this forum, and my question is WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. Like they said, we save money so money can save us tomorrow. But these gamblers doesn't know that.

The simplest and shortest answer is due to their addiction. Instead of feeding and meeting their obligations, they would rather choose the selfish route of personally satisfying their greed for their addiction in gambling. This definitely also affects ultimately their savings and emergency money, which is also the reason on why majority of gamblers are high on debt.

If you know someone who is a gambler, then now is the time to at least educate and support them in solving their addiction in this dangerous habit. Not only are they slowly destroying their lives, but they are also affecting the people around them.
Each of us does have different level of financial capabilities on which there are ones how could sustain out their gambling activity without the need on spending up their savings but rather they are just allocating a part of their overall income.Unlike into those people who do really just rely into their day job monthly salary then spending a huge chunk of it would really be putting you into a big trouble.
Addiction is indeed the main cause because if you are that someone who does have a good control of your emotion and does have good money management then you would not risk out your savings just to play gambling.
Everything would be in control which is a must.
1311  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: February 09, 2023, 08:49:35 PM
The nature that investors must have is to know and be able to manage risk, not always the hope of profit in investing, especially cryptocurrencies can be fun, sometimes we have to get different facts and have to be brave to sell, the mistake of most people is that they are too sure that prices will continue to rise so they don't sell For example, I had an opportunity to sell at $60k in 2021 and it was profitable because I bought at around $45k, and in the end I was only able to sell at $32k last year.
If you are really that tending to hold then you wouldnt really that mind much for whatever the price it would be but we know that there are situations in life which we do really need to sell up for some different purpose which it cant really be avoided for sometime specially if we dont have some fiat to pull on which means that we do need to snip out something on our investment. This is why its always been that ideal for us to set out
some target price or goal before we do decide to make out some sell and just for having that purpose. When market is going down then it cant be avoided that you would really be
feeling that kind of panic and just like on the example you have here which you had sell low compared into your buying point which is really that a very huge loss.
1312  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: February 08, 2023, 11:54:26 PM
Quote

"It's hard to walk away from a winning streak, even harder to leave the table when you're on a losing one." -
Cara Bertoia, Cruise Quarters - a Novel About Casinos and Cruise Ships

This quote reflects the experiences some gamblers are facing when they are playing, winning, or losing its hard to make a decision
you either continue the momentum or lose everything, I'm sure the majority of gamblers are experiencing this one time or many times while playing.
This is the primary problem of most gamblers on which they cant be able to walk away or would stop when they are still on winning game or phase on which they would be completely stopping when they dont have money
into their pockets and this is the real thing that do happen in most gamblers out there. Therefore it would really be that ideal or sensible to stop or dont chase your losses on the time you do gamble.
Be aware or wary with your actions since there's no such thing about unlimited funds. If you dont make yourself that wise and sensible towards your actions then you would really be
ruining your life when it comes to financial aspects.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I will never trust top exchanges on: February 08, 2023, 10:44:49 PM
In choosing in between top exchanges and those unknown ones then there's no question on which one you should choose and its just common sense. We arent that dumb on not to know
on which one would be worth for you to make use and which one is to avoid.Of course we would be sticking into those trusted platform when it comes on trading out our assets and make
out some conversion out of our crypto to fiat which is only possible via these exchange platforms and this is why we cant really that able to say for us not to be helpful or useful that way.
Just make yourself that be aware on the risk and never make an exchange to be your main wallet of your assets.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: My fear in fall of Bitcoin. on: February 08, 2023, 08:59:31 PM
As investors we should do an in-depth analysis of risk, bitcoin is a high-risk type of investment, unfortunately at this time there are too many media that continue to expose success stories from investors because he gets thousands of percent profit in a short time, when someone enters and gets the fact that he loses then he will panic and think that bitcoin is hopeless.
That's wrong, they entered with the aim that they would be able to with a very short time. When talking about risks in investing, then every investment will definitely have its own risks. If many media reports the success story of a bitcoin investor, then it is true. It's just that they forget something, yes they forget that they also have to expose any risks if we invest in bitcoin, whether it's a small risk or even the biggest risk.
Risk is always tied up with every investment and this should really be bare up in mind on which you should really make yourself that prepared for whatever things that you would really be able to experienced.
Fall and rising is the two things on which you would be commonly be able to face into this market and this is why you should really be that accepting on what are these things and how you would be able to find a way.
Dont fear out because falling doesnt always mean your lossing but rather it could also mean that this would be the best spot for you to buy cheaper coin and adding up more on your stash.
You would soon able to know on what you should gonna do on the time that you do gain up sufficient experience.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 08, 2023, 08:41:52 PM
AI will be able to build models that far surpasses any model that a human can build.

Maybe, but the main issue that I see is that AI can create false facts that appear quite legit to the casual reader.

Then, something false gets posted in say wikipedia, and then a big newspaper picks that up, etc. You end up without being able to trust anyone.
AFAIK it is not giving any false facts, its just a program that collect information from the multiple sources and try to come up with better one, ofcourse it may happened in the past but the same won't repeat everytime so its impossible to predict the future outcomes with 100% accuracy.

I don't think AI can predict the sports perfectly. By the way, is there any data available to check if AI really helping in this prediction thing ?

I know everyone will have their point of view on this but if we have some data to back our opinions, it will help us reach the conclusion. The Poll make us know about the majority of the people's understanding but may not predict the real reality.

I agree with you, there's no tangible and a convincing evidence that using AI to gamble is as accurate as expected or can be reliable as ever thought, remember it was created by some expert which had already run a program on the way it should operate a d i believe it wouldn't be vested on one side than the other which means you can't expect it to work against the casinos and in favour of the gambling on a steady and continuous process, it's reliability is not perfectly hundred percent accurate and many would not prefer it than using their own intellect to gamble in most cases.
Even if it was effective then we do really think that gambling companies or owners wouldn't be finding a way on getting rid of this AI if ever it was really that effective? This isnt really that something
realistic i would say on which there's no way an AI could be able to predict precisely on what are the things that could happen in the future or something that deals on being speculative.
Even if it do knows when it comes to stats or something but we do know that it wont really be that accurate to mind off with those numbers.
Its never been that ideal or suggestable on doing so.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't see this changing anytime soon on: February 07, 2023, 11:31:44 PM
The reason is that as long as crptocurrency exists, these exchanges must also exists because we need them to trade easily and because of this,so many people prefer leaving their coins in them for easy access, even when they know the consequence of their actions.

If one exchange crashes, there will be another exchange to take over the market. The problem with human is that when something drastic happens, they only take caution at that moment, after sometimes they become ignorant of what happened. Maybe because they were not the victims of circumstance, they only learn when they become the victims.
You are definitely right on this one and come to think that if DEX does only exist then how we would gonna make out conversions from our crypto to fiat? For sure we would really be finding up some mediums which i coudl say that it is a bit hassle unlike when we do have exchangers as of today that we could really make out some conversion in a snap or something that would really be that easy and this is where people would really be sticking into without minding that much about the risk.Even we are aware but we dont have any choice because this is the only method that we could really be able to make use
to make those conversions in most convenient way which it is really hard to ignore out.
1317  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 07, 2023, 10:36:16 PM
Yeah they got amazing promotions all the time. I barely doubt any other casino has able to pull such high stakes on this forum. There are some others though which are running their campaigns way before than Roobet does and till date they are doing it. It’s no wonder why they are running today also, they know very will this forum has huge network size which adds up more and more everyday. This mean campaigns not only giving more exposure to the casinos but they are also getting huge assets on the way.

I mean even if they get couple of new gamblers every week who wager’s more than few thousands over a week then they are almost running it at no cost. Obviously they have studied the market properly and just love that thing about them. Hope so they will maintain their presence like this and be symbol of honest casino around.
Roobet crossed 3 billion bets already so the budget for the signature campaign is just pennies considering the size of their casino and for a brand to stay they always have to keep their name among their consumers even they are much familiar with the product and the best example for this is pepsi and coke, almost everyone in this world knows about the product but still, they are advertising it cause its needed for the survival.
Roobet signature campaign was launched in December 2020 and it was initially meant to run on a test period of 2-3 weeks when the result was evaluated,  it got extended to this time.

I am glad I was accepted into their signature campaign today, and this gives me great pleasure and I am here to announce my official membership of the Roobet signature campaign.
Marketing does really play a great role for a company or a certain product would really be last up almost a lifetime which its not surprising that these companies would really be continuing to have that exposure and spreading up awareness as much as they could considering that they are still making huge revenue then its true that this kind of expenses or spending would really be peanuts on week to week basis.
It is really that amazing that there are really signature campaigns that could last up for how many years which to those who had joined up are really that making some at least income
or extras on the way that they are posting on this forum.
1318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am Bullish On Bitcoin Despite Bear market on: February 07, 2023, 10:31:05 PM
Always happy to see the market stutter into a slump with long red candles on the bitcoin chart and a clear downturn. When my coworkers were moaning about their losses during the bear market, I was really calm because I had a straightforward strategy when I first entered the market. consistently snagging more coins during bear seasons and selling heavily during bull seasons. The both seasons doesn't last, either a bull season is enforced or bear.
For those experienced ones then they would really be seeing on this way on which on the time that bears do take up the pace or the trend then this is where we do see the opportunity for us to get in.
For those who do have the money or funds will really be longing on waiting for the bottom price and where everyone is on panic which is the right indication that this would be the right time to make some entry
or accumulation. You do have the experience and awareness on how this market behaves or works which it would really be that normal that you are aware on what are the move or action
to be taken into these particular times but sometimes which emotions would really be boggling you up mainly.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 07, 2023, 09:22:53 PM
Anybody else think it’s a little strange that Jake Paul already has his next fight lined up and he hasn’t even fought Tommy Fury yet? Is that normal in boxing? It seems strange to me that it doesn’t really matter who wins or loses this Paul/Fury fight if the next event with KSI is already lined up. This will probably fuel the fire of a conspiracy that all of Jake Paul’s fights are rigged. I don’t believe that for whatever it’s worth.
Basing up on what i have searched
Jake Paul next fight: ‘Problem Child’ vs. Tommy Fury in February
https://sportsnaut.com/jake-paul-next-fight/

So i dont know if its cancelled or not and talking already about KSI. I cant be sure about being rigged with those Pauls fight but it is really hard
to believe on.

Not really they stop the campaign when they got delay issues and maybe lightlord decide to stop this to avoid any problem in this community since many forum members talk about negative when delays of payments are piling up on their campaign. That gives them negative impressions for a while and it really create a noise here because this is one of the oldest campaigns they run. But since those issues are done maybe they could launch this again since they need to attract back their old players to play their casino again.
Even Lightlord decide to re run their campaign, I don't think people will welcome about it because this issue is the second time, there's a chance might happen in the future. Also the payrate is really small and lead to spam, someone need to create 60 posts in order to get same payment with the other campaign which only need to create 20 posts. How much they will pay for the member rank tier E now? 100 satoshi for every post? it's similar like claiming faucet every hour Grin
If they would tend to relaunch the campaign and really having those plans on sticking with their old payrate then i could say that it wouldnt really be that much worth off but well its their decision
since its their campaign and company that they've been handling but much sure that there are still members of this forum would definitely be agreeing into those amounts of terms on which they
would really be joining despite of low pay.Its true that it is really just that small and could create that spam considering that 60 post is equivalent into other campaigns
would equal into its pay.So it do shows on how low it is.
