1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 11, 2023, 08:26:17 PM
That's the beauty of diversification, my friend.

You should have several types of savings and, in case of urgency, spend what you need less now. I would spend Bitcoin last because I believe in it the most.

I don't think you should be upset. Just take this situation as a lesson, draw conclusions and become a smarter person.
Yes, we should have reserves like on having some savings on emergency funds in form of fiat and the rest would be put up on these investments neither on stocks or crypto of wherever you had replaced it.
We know that there's no such thing about unlimited funds on which there are conditions or situations which do really make you that fiat savings would be completely deplete out.If you are really that
planning on holding up your bitcoin no matter what then you would definitely finding up ways where you might take a loan or borrow into someone on times of emergencies for you not to
just spend up the coin that you've been holding.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about stop gambling services issued by gambling platforms? on: March 10, 2023, 11:52:57 PM
The question is, how can a casino know that they have a customer who is a gambling addict? I don't think casinos take note of how often a user loses money on bets, but if they do, they will still be glad they are making money. Even if this feature is added to casinos, which I think is very impossible, users will still find it difficult to stop because it can only take discipline and determination to stop what they have been addicted to. I am not a smoker, but I think smoking and gambling have different urges and drives. The gambling urge makes the person want to gamble more; the moment when they think they should not gamble is when they begin to contemplate that it may be the moment they can win. The urge is more serious in gambling addiction than smoking.
There's no way on detecting that because betting on huge or having big wagers doesnt always indicate that a certain user is already that addicted to gambling and thats why they would really just
letting a user to continue on what they are doing and there's no way that you could be able to point out that a certain user is already that addicted.
They would really be just giving out those kind of restrictions if a user would really be requesting for some self exclusion which is really that a common thing to be seen
on some top gambling sites which you could make your account get blocked on a period of time.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 10, 2023, 10:59:25 PM

Well, the inflation in my country now is not extremely high but has already damaged the economy. The cost of living is increasing and does not seem to stop. Last week one of my friends lost his job after working in the same company for a decade. His life abruptly changed, putting him in a place where he could not support his family. If you were him, how would you survive this tough time ? As a friend, I am trying to help him as much as I can and meanwhile, I am planning to save more money to prepare for the unexpected challenges in my life. What about you ?

In a high-inflation environment, I think it isn't wise to save in form of money since the value of money will depreciate as time goes by.  I think if you have money it is better be stored in a stable asset that does not depreciate as fast as money.  I wouldn't advise keeping it in cryptocurrency because of the possibility of the time when you need the fund, your crypto is in a bear market and is 99% less in value.  Bitcoin can be an option but still, it is highly volatile unless you start saving during the Bitcoin bear market.
Save 50% in cash form and Invest 50% on multiple investment which you should really that diversify as much as you can.Its true that inflation is inevitable and this is why you should really be wise on where you should be putting up your focus on making out investment which isnt really that much be touched up with inflation which is through investment which could give out multiple source of income.
On the time where shit happens then you would be able to make yourself sustain and survive even if you dont have the work and this is why its really that relevant that you should
really save up yourself for those unexpected events.
1224  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 10, 2023, 10:36:56 PM
For those who are really that having doubts about being fair then its up to you whether you would really be that going or being dubious about their fairness but for me i dont really care that much
as long i do deal with the known or popular sites on where most people been playing on.

This is what I agree with. Even though I don't have that technical knowledge regarding verifying the provably fair of casino games, as long as I'm playing with a reputable gambling site, I should consider myself as somehow safe at using their service.

These popular sites will not just be turned into scams as they are registered legally and I don't they will exchange a small penny for the trust they have built.

If having trouble choosing a reputable site, OP can read those ANN threads and from reading the discussion there, OP should tell if the site is legit or not.

It is really doubtful if you will go to a casino or not so popular sites that are not registered. For you to have calmness while gambling in a casino or site, why try to do research about it first, right? Those sites do not force you to go in to them. In the end, it's still your decision. If you think it's a scam why go and spend money on it? As I was once a gambler before, I don't think it's not fair because in gambling you don't have a 100% probability that you will win or lose. Sometimes it's just timing and luck.
Would really be just common sense on where you should really make yourself that get involved with on which it would be that preferable if you would be sticking into those known and reputable sites.
Even though its not really that we could say that they are 100% safe but basing up on the condition and the reputation that they do have then doing or acting up some shady things isnt something
that could happen or exchanging their reputation on just mere amounts but somehow its never been that a guarantee on giving out that full trust but well as long you do play on amounts
which you could afford to lose then it wont really be that much of an issue.
1225  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 09, 2023, 10:59:17 PM
On the other hand, I don't know how you assess if a casino is truly provably fair or not; I am incapable to do that because my technical skills are ridiculous, but maybe you can search on their code for inconsistencies.

I don't think you need to have fancy technical skills to be able to verify your bets at a provably fair casino. To verify the fairness of a provably fair casino, there are a few steps you can take. Firstly, you can check if the casino has a "Provably Fair" section on their website that explains how their system works. This should include information on the cryptographic algorithms used and how to verify the results.

Secondly, you can use third-party verification tools to check the results of games. These tools use mathematical algorithms to check that the results of games are truly random and not manipulated.
Usually you could see these pages or links on a top ranking or well established gambling sites on which you could be able to verify those hashes and see for yourself if they are really having those fair rolls.
For those who are really that having doubts about being fair then its up to you whether you would really be that going or being dubious about their fairness but for me i dont really care that much
as long i do deal with the known or popular sites on where most people been playing on.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Caution Newbies Bitcoin is BTC on: March 09, 2023, 09:59:19 PM
Yesterday i came across an unfortunate incident and i never thought people will be so dump here Sad

We are having a PSL season 8 (a very popular cricket tournament where local and International players play the game) and it is being broadcast over the national sports channel locally and also worldwide.

One of my friend told me that he has heard about bitcoin as it is being advertised in that tournament and he asked me if he should buy Bitcoin as it was advertised in PSL ?

I was shocked as I never saw a bitcoin advertisement on national TV but later the whole story fold up.

Actually, they were advertising the Bficoin BFIC coin to which my friend thought that it was bitcoin.  Sad I told him that this is not real bitcoin but he insisted that I was wrong. I told him that bitcoin has 21 million supply and he told that this coin also had the same supply https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bficoin  Sad
The difference between both coins are clear, both in spelling and price value, of which even a new born baby can testify to that. Because since Bitcoin is a very popular project, the developers of this coin "bficoin" must have used a similar name, so as to lure people into investing in their coin, and at such campaign through football sponsorship, hence, making ignorant newbies believe it's the true Bitcoin, whereas, it's just a shitcoin.

However, I'm happy you were there to enlighten your friend on the difference between both coins, because just as the price value of "bficoin" is currently $18.5, the current price of Bitcoin is $21,488

True, even a simple read up and using up your own common sense could be able to tell on whats the main difference and you wouldn't really be that blind nor really that dumb on not to notice it out.  Grin
If you are a noob which did really make out some mistake then for sure on next time you would really be that aware because we know that experience is the best teacher and out of those errors and mistakes
are the things which would really make you that learn. Its not necessary for you to commit out some mistakes which you could eventually be able to avoid if you are really that
reading up others experiences.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling using chip in money? on: March 09, 2023, 08:57:52 PM
Doing this coop gambling will just put your friendship in jeopardy because we know how person behavior becomes unstable during at loss.
When money is involved we will know the real behavior of our friend, if you have a friend who can still able become after your friend after huge loss you did, protect your friend at all cost because he's the true friend. Sometime you need to test your friend behavior with money involved, if he ask small loan, just give it and let's see if he will pay back the loan based on time or not, if not your friend isn't good enough to trust.
This is why money is said to be the root of all evil because it can make a person turn to evil. They can do bad things only to ensure that they can get money. People must understand that money is only money and can still be find easily after you lose it but not a true friend. It will take ages before we can find another one so we must be careful to not lose them.

If my friend ask a small a loan I will first ask their reason. If it's a valid one like they need money to buy a food. I will let them. If they can't repay on time, there must be a reason for this. If they keep on doing the same thing, that must be the time to confront them if what are their real motive to us.
Root of all evil you do say? but im not really that much agreeing with that considering that what makes it evil is basing or depending on someones intent and this is where things becomes bad if someone
does have that bad intent.

In the case on the op situation where using up others money and making out some guarantees then its never been that ideal because if things turns out into different manner or
somewhat that hadnt been expected then this is where relationships do really comes at a risks on getting broken considering out of those given promises.
1228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 09, 2023, 08:13:44 PM
Hi!

I have heard about Bitcoin back in 2017 but never got to learn regarding about it. I always thought that crypto was a fluke and that it would definitely not be a type of transaction until pandemic happens. So, as the title would suggest, is it too late to start investing on crypto? And if not, what would be the essentials to learn on working on it?

Thanks in advance!
Not at all. People need to realise that you are never too late to enter cryptos it's always within time to enter them. Generally these thoughts come to people during the bull run currently we are in a bad bear run and there is ample of time for you to invest in the market to reap some good returns out of it then why are you worried about the timming? This is absolutely the correct time to start in this market.
Specially on Bitcoin and some altcoins in the market now considering that we are crashing as of this moment or declining then this is the best spot on which you could really be able to buy cheap coins or simply having that bargain sale before the market would really be having some recovery or rebound. This is why its not really that ideal on making yourself that isolated just because on what you do see on the market.
Yes, value might have able to increase on how many folds but doesnt mean that it would really be that late for you to get in.This is why never make yourself that mind off about
being that late because you could still get in as much and anything you do want or like.

Time for team's to reshuffling as the new update for Dota 2 patch 7.32e has been released as promised.

https://www.dota2.com/patches/7.32e

There's also another hero named "Muerta": Dota 2’s new hero Muerta is now available, bigger 7.33 patch release date revealed.

And there will be a new update by next month. That was a quick release and will be followed up by another patch.
Just because of that LINA hero spam on Lima Majors then this current patch did really make out some overhaul or simply nerf out this hero which cd and atk speed had been decreases out which is really that
sad specially for those die hard users of this hero and its true that this current hero Muerta is really that on carry type which its been labeled on that category which is something that would be
spam out on normal or ranked matchmaking or being on an autopick  Cheesy
1230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2023, 11:09:13 PM
Bitcoin has a good chance in the future, the trend of investing in bitcoin which has been popular since 2011 has made many people new millionaires, even I have seen a wallet that has stored bitcoins since 2010 and sold around 100 btc from 2016 to 2022, the owner of the wallet it says that at that time he was selling a car and buying about 2500 btc from 2010 to 2013.
This is how some people will achieve their goals with Bitcoin and there will be others who will only regret it. Because not many people get the opportunity to buy Bitcoin. I personally took a position to buy Bitcoin at $3000 but couldn't buy at that price in hopes of a further dip. A moment I will never forget. Likewise those who wait longer with Bitcoin today may lose the ability to buy Bitcoin on demand. If an investor can invest in Bitcoin after researching the current market and planning to hold it for a long time then it is worth investing and OP can invest 100% instead of 60% if he wants. But it is important to hold bitcoins according to the goal.
Regrets would be unlikely if you are really that accepting that risks since from the start or beginning on which you are fully aware on what are the things that are happening around or could possibly happen.
When we do speak about crypto then we arent that dumb not to know about volatility because whether you are a beginner or a newbie, sooner or later you would be able to realize those things along the way
on which it would really be giving out that kind of awareness on how this market behaves or works which its up to you whether  you would really risk up on putting up your 60% saving into it or not.
You are the ones who would be making out such decision.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 10:48:26 PM
I did experience these wrong bet or input specially when you do play on token thats have lots of zeroes on it like Doge but since it is really that cheap then it doesnt hurt that much if
ever i do placed up some bigger bets considering that i do only make out ample amounts of money or fiat value in token whenever i do gamble.Accidents could really happen and this is why
its really that just right that you should really be that careful everytime you would really be inputting out so that you wouldnt really be ending up
on the same mistakes again on the time you do play.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to convince my senior dad to invest in BTC on: March 08, 2023, 09:55:50 PM
~
Did you manage to convince your dads or other older people in your family to buy BTC?
The fact that he is into computer in the early years made him decide whether Bitcoin is a good thing to invest with or not. Back in the 90's, it's the stock market that's existing if you want to get some assets. Of course this disregards the precious metals that you can be bought. No other crypto market at that time.

Convincing my parents to invest into Bitcoin might be impossible for me. They don't have any background when it comes to investing in general. They have an "employee" mindset, and didn't try investing at all. I'm not telling them to invest though and will not convince them, but if I will say it to them, they might be skeptical when they heard it or find it confusing for them to learn knowing that they are seniors already.
Maybe that could be the reason too why his father is still eager in bitcoin investment since he was really fond of technology by then. But seeing his already senior, he must be enjoying his retirement instead than to take risk in an investment which has even no guarantees if he will succeed or not later on. But I guess, it’s still his decision he will follow in the end. However, I’m not really into convincing other people to invest in bitcoin not because I want to be greedy, but I’m afraid that they will put the blame on me once everything did not work in the end. I prefer to just invest on it secretly, than to share it to others and they might only think that this is just another sort of scam.
Its never been hard on hooking up someone to invest on bitcoin or other internet related things if that someone on whom you had introduced is something that has knowledge and interest about internet things whether
it would really be your father or someone who you are tending to explain it off. These what makes things even more simpler if you do really tend to explain it out.Its good that you hook up someone on your family
and we know that father does always knows on whats good or bad but it would be ideal on explaining out something because dads arent all-knowing beings which there are things which they might
missed and now basing up on what op had said on that situation then it is really that something good to look at that he had succeed out.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 11:58:54 PM
It goes to the house. Where else does it go? If you're wondering where it goes after that...in best cases, it goes toward further development and marketing of the casino. In worst cases, it goes into prostitutes and cocaine for the operator Roll Eyes They're casino owners after all. In the middle, it goes toward a living or fortune being accumulated by the unfortunate greed that prevails over people who play their game.

The money is always better off going somewhere other than the casino to begin with.
Common sense,right?

They are building a business and not something else which it would be understandable that they are making money out of those gamblers losses which it isnt shocking.Somewhat big wins would really be patched up
and would really be deducted out of  those revenues which we know that it isnt really that appealing for most gambling owners which is understandable. This is why it is really that normal that
they would be setting out max bet limits for them to avoid on getting bankrupt and its really just a standard thing should be done by any business owner which is related to this.
1234  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: March 07, 2023, 10:56:59 PM
Also, one of the disadvantages of cooking yourself is that you spend time cooking and washing dishes.
Currently, eating in some cheap restaurants could be more worth it if you're living alone.
I agree that's one of the disadvantage of cooking so if you'll calculate the food expenses, the ingredients, gas, water, electricity and even the effort.
You'll be saving more time and money if you'll eat on a budgeted and cheap restaurant. The energy you've got physically will be even saved but one of the cons of this is you'll get limited food.
True , i just surprised that there is a place where you can get a good food for a whole month for just $35 ... we spend that money for just a day in daily basis here , crazy just crazy if it was real ... i just can't believe it if i didnt experience it by muself.

Fast food is the best one practically but not an option for your health.
That budget sets for meal within the entire month is really too cheap. But it's true that it setbacks your health and if you think that you're good in that setup, you may feel the effect of it through your health later on.
In these times, we're all looking for ways to get those food that we want to it whether it's on a budget or not.
It is that everyone wants to enjoy good food and that helps us forget temporarily the problems that we're dealing in our day to day living.
Saving up isnt really that bad but of course you should really be that having monitoring in terms of your health because saving up money would be useless if you are really that putting your health at risks.
This is why you should really be needing to balance up everything because if you do go full force or dedicated on saving up as much as you can. Dont make yourself that really that too focused but its not
really that something that you should really be going for long term and as much as you could then its better to have that good balanced diet despite of the budget.Of course not all would
really be having on the same financial status and this is why some people doesnt really have no choice.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 07, 2023, 09:17:08 PM
If other people or the gambler thinks that gambling can be a source of income, it can happen if he always brings luck. The problem is that it is not realistic, because it is not every day that we can get an income from it.

Because most gamblers who enter crypto gambling are losers in gambling. And there are only a few winners here every day. Of course, would the house edge be willing to be beaten every day by most gamblers? The answer to this is no of course Smiley
For those who do have those kind of beliefs and mindset initially then sooner or later they would really be able to realize on whats the real deal specially if the reality would slapped up into their faces which it isnt something that attainable or achievable if you do decide on making gambling as a source of living.Yes, there might be some gamblers who do able to reach out that kind of state but only to those who are really that getting involved on strategic based type of gambling games like poker and sports betting but we know that achieving this kind of condition wont really be something that could be easily copied by someone.
This would takes years of experience and you wont really be that dumb on not to see whether you are on a profitable side or not.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time to buy or sell? on: March 07, 2023, 09:00:07 PM
The price of bitcoin will halve next year, and many investors are anticipating another bull run, which has become something the market does every four years circle. Therefore, finding a good buying point right now and getting in could result in you making a profit by holding it through 2024 to 2025. For those who are investing for the long term, I would say that it is a good time to some bitcoin, as well as some good top altcoins, and perhaps some low cap coin with good potentials too.
4 year cycle is where everyone eyes is really focusing on and its not really that shocking on when we do really see that possible bull run once again. When in talks about when to buy and when to sell then no one really knows on what would be the peak or bottom price as this market is always that unpredictable and totally random then there's no way that someone could able to tell on where the price would be going. This is why you should really be that serious on creating or making your own strategy.Indicators and tools are available which you could really make use of it to assume out on where
the prices would be going but remember that it wont really be that precise as always but its better rather than having no analysis or tools at all.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 08:56:34 PM
i think many are losing in gambling and the casino sites are hugely profiting from us ,
do you think that is the case .

That is gambling and life for you. The more some are losing the more some are winning life's not always fair to those who truly needs to be treated fairly. And if you fell gambling is not always in your favour you can call it a quit it's never to late to leave gambling.

As for the money I'm sure it will go to the casino's bankroll and from it they'll pay whoever wins, I haven't really sat down to analyze or study how it goes but I do believe that the casino should be the one receiving the loser's wager. If I'm not correct I'll appreciate the correct answer.
The ones who do make money is the casino owner which is really that understandable and this is why gambling business is really that profitable specially if gamblers do really love on staying up on a certain platform
or even on a physical place.Yes,they might be able to win up big but those would be easily be patched up considering that people would continue to play because they are chasing up on hitting up jackpots and this is where desperation would kicks in and making it as an advantage into those casino owners. This is why when you do get involved with gambling then you should really know on when to stop and the most
important thing of all is that you do really know on how to handle up your finances.
1238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2023, 11:20:12 PM
currently the price of bitcoin is in the $22k range, although there is still a possibility of dropping below $20k but even if the price manages to drop below $20K the price will not be far from that point. it doesn't matter if you want to invest now because the percentage of prices going up in the future is much bigger because this year or next year it is very likely that the crypto market will enter a bullish phase.
We cant really make out conclusions in speaking about floor price or support or bottom because there's no way that we could precisely tell on which point even how good your technical analysis would be.
Speaking about savings up or investing about 60% then i would say that it would really be that too much considering that about the percentage that you are putting into.If you could really bare up with the risks
then its up to your choice but if you do see that you arent that confident with those numbers then you could always lessening it out basing into your risks management.
Not all could really be able to bare up with the risk and this is why you should really be thinking carefully on which point you would be preferring into.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 06, 2023, 10:36:58 PM
So my question now is that can someone use gambling as a means of earning living?
Gambling have become a business indeed, just like forex and crypto trading, gambling have become a side hustle for many, and for some, gambling have become like a business they depend on for their livelihood, though i personally do not recommend that anybody should depend on gambling or take it in place of a job, but i just can not deny the fact that i personally know alot of persons here in my area that have no job or business they run or go to, their means of livelihood is gambling, and some of them have been doing really well with it.
This is false no one is making a side hustle out of gambling because most people lose money and do not earn money. If you earned money regularly and a lot of people did too then the gambling sites would change their odds to adjust. Unless you are very good at picking under dog bets you are not profiting in the long run. I like betting because it is fun but I never expect to make a business out of it and I think it is unhealthy to tell people that they can make it a business.

People should enjoy gambling but they should do it responsibility and not expect to make a career out of gambling.
Gambling should really be for fun but people do goes into other extent on which they do really tending it on making it as a living which it cant really be that possible most of the time except to those people who are playing with poker or sports betting.Even its hard to believe but there are people who do make a living but only into these kind of games or betting but not into those luck-based games that we do know
like slots and roulletes. We cold really make out that differentiation in between those categories which we could able to point out about those probabilities in between or
chances for it to be that possible but in general sense then its better not to treat gambling as your main source of income or for daily living.
1240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Awareness needed, 100$ or Bitcoin??? on: March 06, 2023, 09:59:14 PM
Came across this video in which a person questions whether they prefer to take 100$ or Bitcoin. The kids never took time, all of the sudden chosen 100$. I'm not specific about the location this had taken place, but it looks like they're are Western people. This makes me think, awareness is not upto the mark and in all means we need to educate people. Even the Western young generation unaware of it is really unbelievable.

100$ or Bitcoin
Not really that surprising on which not every corners of the world do really knows bitcoins existence specially into those young kids or young minds who arent really that aware on whats been around.
They cant really just resist and do stick on what are the things that they had grown into which is really that considers always about fiat. Just let recognition and adoption do move on its own
because recognition and awareness doesnt really stop and sooner or later it would really be known around. It is really just a matter of time on which everyone would really be
recognizing its existence but not for now.
