unofficial pool isn't displaying the diff anymore on the miner? you changed it?

yeah i optimized it a bit, since lot of users get "unable to receive mining info from wallet" its because of http request timeout, and that request of "getMiningInfo" is sent every second by all miners, multiply that by 100 miners on the pool, and add up another type of request...

have you send reward assignment transaction for the pool ?

how do explain to me

have you read and follow this : http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io/howto.html

I did this and gave the same error
{"error Code": 5, "Error Description": "Unknown account"}

whats your account? can you see your account on block explorer -> http://burst.cryptoport.io ?

my account
BURST-3N39-7T5J-CKPM-DLLBP

your account is not yet visible on network --> http://burst.cryptoport.io/acc/BURST-3N39-7T5J-CKPM-DLLBP

you need atleast make one outgoing transaction to make your account visible to network, you buy alias, or send somewhere 1 burst

send me one burst Smiley

sent

is there an index of all usefull guides?

what are the minimum requirement of space to be able to mine a reasonable amount?

1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | Update to 1.0.3 before block 6500 on: September 05, 2014, 12:51:12 AM
here is update for http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io

i changed minimum payout to 250 BURST since we found blocks more often right now, and to reduce tx-fee
until i can provide miners program with ability to set user minimum payout preference

and also please change your port from 80 to 8124 if you have no firewall issue

actually that port 80 is redirected to internal port 8124, so having you connect directly to 8124 will reduce server network load
only use port 80 if you can't connect to port 8124

how can I see my personal mining details on the site? I just started mining there, but it's a bit confusing (even tho it looks really cool ^^)

edit:

Code:
Submitting share
{"result":"Passphrase does not match reward recipient"}

is that because of the wallet setup (set recipient to the number from your site)? or is something wrong?

you need to wait for 4 blocks after you did reward recipient before network accept that you indeed set my pool as your payment address if you found a block

as for personal mining details, ee... ummm... what you want to see ?

oh, ok, then I just let it run, should correct itself then. As for the personal mining details: just some kind of statistic like submitted shares, current balance, payment history etc. would be nice.

oh.. that would require me to use some database running, currently i dont have any DB running.
but if information is only for recent ~100 blocks, its possible

Thanks!  That appears to have solved it on my three miners.  At least it is not occurring anywhere near the frequency that it was as I submitted the last ~30 shares without incident.

I would recommend you change your setup instructions to have Windows users default to using :8124.

edit: Definitely helped!  I am now getting about significantly higher payouts.

ok, thanks for feedback

Also, have you considered having a minimum payout before sending?  Based on how often I am receiving payouts versus their size, it looks like you could save a non-trivial amount in transaction fees over the course of 24 hours.

yes i have plan on it, miner can set their minimum payout from their client
or maybe in the mean time i should increase minimum payout? if yes how much is reasonable ?

edit: I can see my wallet on the pool transactions now.  So I guess it is working!

Uray--can you help me with connecting to your pool?  I submitted the address relocation and waited four+ rounds.

Here is my run_mine.bat:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx750m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner mine "http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80"%*

If I use the stock one you included then it just crashes, but with this one I am getting occasional "Unable to get mining info from wallet," while it appears to be mining at other times.

My account and address are 1409859585678 / LU4T-RXBX-SF69-EBVWT, but not seeing either show up on the pool.

Am I mining and connected?  If not, what do I need to change in the run_mine.bat?

Thanks!

unfortunately i dont have windows machine here, but the one I included is running fine on osx and linux.

maybe you can post me any crash message?

occasional "Unable to get mining info from wallet," is ok it maybe the server is full at that time

Is this helpful?  Notice the two "failed to submit nonce" then it goes back to submitting again.

it seems you have connectivity problem to my pool, can you try changing the port to 8124 see if it better?

How does the reward system work? I see some balances in the all round share. When are these balances paid out?

its not balance, its share value

share value will be converted into burst payout when pool has positive balance
so you will get  (YOUR_SHARE_VALUE / TOTAL_SHARE_VALUE) x PAYMENT_FUND
PAYMEND_FUND is depend on pool balance and their block allocation fund

I am getting quite a few "Failed to submit share" readouts.  Afterward I appear to lose the share that I was attempting to submit.

Why is this happening? It seems like it results in quite a few shares never making it to the pool.

which command line are you using?

on linux and osx, i just doing this :
Code:
java -Xmx750m -cp pocminer.jar:lib/*:lib/akka/*:lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner mine "http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io"

without that %* i dont know what is that on windows

oh and you can also try alternative port 8124

Code:
java -Xmx750m -cp pocminer.jar:lib/*:lib/akka/*:lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner mine "http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:8124"

Is it possible to mine on pool while i'm generating a plot?
last 2 day in solo --> 0 blocks!!!
so i want to tray setting up pool!!!

another question.
when i set up "Set reward recipient:Passphrase" and "Set reward recipient:Recipient:" on http://127.0.0.1:8125/rewardassignment.html, how i can reset it, if i want to return on solo mining?

thanks!

set recipient address to your own account, or any account you want to pay them when you found a block

yes you can mining while generating plot, there will be some error message though, but you can ignore them if you know you are still in progress of plotting
