A couple of questions:
Is a Dark Distributed Exchange on the horizon?
Can Decentralized Autonomous Corporations be built on the Darkcoin block chain to have DarkDACs? For example, when BitShares finally launches, can it be forked and built on top of DarkCoin and have DarkBitShares?

Ok -- interested, but I have spent far too much time trying to figure out what is going on. You're first bounty should be for a marketing guy to tell people how to do everything.
Let's just say that I am a stupid idiot and someone explain it to me. First from the "Investment Options" section:
1.) Choose Your Options: Ok -how --where? Is it just the "general fund" and there are no "options" yet and therefore I don't have to worry about it?
2.) Create/Choose a single address to use as your unique identifier: What address -- a wallet? Where do I make this "choice". What is a "unique identifier"? My wallet or some other system entirely?
3.) Send investment amount from chosen address to the corresponding option? Umm...what? Do you mean the address on page one of this forum? Or well, what does this sentence mean, exactly?
Plus, I am unclear what benefits I am receiving for "investing". What exactly is one getting that is different than someone who just buys NRS?
I've read many pages on this forum and the mess that is the Noirbits Forum and even read the first few pages of every single message that barwizi has posted. As I said, I like the general idea but you guys are making it far too time consuming to become fully informed.
If it is just too much effort (or frustration) to respond to this, I totally understand. No need to, but I am guessing that I am not the only one who just gave up after a while (or in my case, almost).
Right now the General Fund is the only option available to buy shares in projects developed by the Noir Investment Group LLC that aren't built on top of the blockchain. You can send BTC, NRS, NRB or PTS to the addresses in the OP. Does anyone mine with a Mac on NRS Block Quarry?
I'm asked for an application when I open the miner. What do I do from here?
Is there anyone that can help me with this? which OS? in windows users are running it with a batch file. Mac OSx i dont know much in the way of mac yet, windows uses .bat and linux .sh files, so you need to find your equivalent. Yeah, I was hoping someone that uses a Mac could help me. Any Mac users that can help me? |

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for the position of NIG COO. I have been involved with and mining NRS since it's inception and have a good understanding of where Barwizi plans to take this opportunity and feel that I have the skills to help this project continue to be successful for all of those involved. I am a technical project manager for a large ecommerce site by trade and have worn many hats on the operations side of the company as well. I am very familiar with the software development process and will help to ensure processes and procedures are implemented in order to have reliable, secure and user friendly services. I have already begun researching potential payment processors that we can integrate with in the future and I believe the additional points below should be addressed rather quickly to ensure everyone is on the same page and the team is following standard software development processes. Tools / processes to be implemented: - Updated forum to provide updates to the public and gather feedback (already in progress)
- Process for tracking feature requests / development process / reported bugs
- Dashboard / website for tracking user investments and payouts (move away from google docs)
- More TBD...

The same thing happened to me and I had to download the blockchain again. I deleted everything except the wallet.dat file, opened the wallet and let it sync. This fixed the issue for me. |

just paid for 2 out of three more miners. Investment is slow so i am reluctant to go all out. The transaction if interest wanes too much, i'll get the third and last one, then those will mine for me personally. how much do you need invested to get the third? enough to buy at least one and half. then if it's low i'll just buy the third and close up. essentially only those who are in now will ever benefit from the mining op So 9.5ish more shares? more like 10, but 9 will do too. BTC went down. PTS went up and NRS/NRB are going down. I do not want to change the rates , but if the average keeps falling, i may be forced to. Maybe investors can weigh in on this. I see what you're saying but the NRS being invested right now are being spent on rigs for the mining op, so the fact that they are undervalued doesn't matter. If you are predicting that NRS will jump way up in value (I am) just invest BTC for now (like I did).

I haven't thought of a better way than barwizi's to count shares/investment. Crypto's are very volatile so a base ratio has to be picked, but don't worry if the price dipped/shot up a lot I am sure it will be adjusted. The mining op is starting now so the investments will be counted for what they will buy Noir Group now. Hope this helps. funny thing is i am not even recycling shares, i am taking the risk myself by using my own btc to buy the miners. why not say you only accept BTC.This coin is shitcoin,It is only worth 0.0001BTC,Mining is not enough to pay the electricity bills I can't see the connection between the investment projects and NRS i think you need to find something else to do with your time. thanks for stopping by. I'd like to know when the initial general fund for shares will end with a few days in advance. Is it possible? I'm trying to get more funds.
The general fund will not be closed, however those who participate in this mining-sub venture are the only one eligible to benefit from it. My conversations with other investors hinted at fears that they would be sharing with late comers. That will not happen, ever. I will close investment for mining soon, i will announce it and give two weeks advance notice. This is because every time i buy a miner i am doing it out of my own pocket, i front the payment and wait for investments to catch up. This has been going a bit slow in comparison, current investments can only pay for 2 units, i have funds in escrow and sequestered for 10. I will wait and gauge interest, if there is none, i will simply stop at 5 and close investment in mining. those who participate will have the most rewarding experience as they will receive payouts from mining and all ventures, those who come after this will only get from the exchange and subsequent ventures. I sent you a message on the Bitshares forum, but I think this post may have answered my question. Thanks. |

I know, how come we aren't all millionaires yet buying trips on Virgin Galactic?? ;-)
The get rich quick model is over now with alt-coins. Maybe last September or October, but not March.
People are actually getting educated and studying these coins before putting their BTC in. This really wasn't happening two months ago. It was a complete free for all pump and dump and run to the next coin. That model worked for 20 or 30 alt coins. Now that everyone and their pet corgi has a coin, people actually need to study up and become and educated investor.
If you want to make a quick dime, get on the twitter feed of the known pump and dumpers and hold on. NEM, NXT, Ethereum and a few others, with a solid mission behind it, aren't going away. The public is still not even buying into Bitcoin. Imagine what will happen when big business capital starts flooding into Bitcoin. A high tide raises all ships, this will be no different for all of the alt coins. Bitcoin will slowly start to climb back to $1k by the end of this year. Along with it, the alt coins with true purpose and differentiation will rise as well.
We only have one shot to launch NEM, let's follow Ethereum's lead and build massive expectation for an amazing product/platform, then deliver the game changer. They won't know what hit them when NEM is mentioned right alongside the high flyers.
This is exactly what we are doing. We are innovating to create a coin and an economic movement that will be compelling and will continue to grow in the years to come. NEM is my last hope for altcoins. I am having very mixed feeling about alt/country coins, We all know its pump and dump and yet some poor idiots still buys. My friend wanted to buy spain coin when he saw the price was $2.30-.40 in coinmarketcap. I asked him not to invest in this obvious bubble, sure enough look at the price now Sad. I can simply mine these worthless coins and sell at a profit due to the hype, but now this whole game makes me feel dirty. How many of us in real life cheat people out of their money, cus this is what we are basically doing from behind a computer screen. I am deciding to no longer trade hype in hopes of finding the bigger fool. Just going to mine the coins i truly believe in. Call me sanctimonious or a hypocrite but I don't feel good about what I am doing right now. Agreed. The current state of the crypto community makes wall street look ethical and honest. |
