If I were a campaign manager, for me it would suffice to consider such user worthy of a 4$/post deal. Apparently, for DarkStar_ too, which offered him even more -- 6$/post. Then you mention his number of posts and activity points, but without touching the most important aspects: (1) the number of merits -- 1724; (2) the velocity of earning merits (and this guy earned the Legendary threshold in less than 6 months!; (3) the merits vs. activity ratio, which is 6.33; (4) the merits vs. posts ratio, which is 5.14. Show me how many users you know having a merits vs. posts ratio greater than 1, not to mention greater than 5. There are members who are high quality posters, made name for years, have posting history of 5k, 10k, 20k or even higher. Your account need more time to achieve even 10% of the exposure those members can provide. The number of posts is irrelevant, if the author of the posts is a zero-value poster. You consider this user, which has 5900 posts / 1134 activity and zero merits offering more exposure than PowerGlove? Or thus one, which has 6000+ posts / 840 activity and 24 merits (and which, until January 2020, had zero merits)? Sorry, don't hurt yourself but I think you are overestimating yourself. I believe you should think twice before speaking once. |

I am revamping this old thread of mine as I just find out, by pure chance, an official answer, from Staff, to one of my questions. - why is the custom in Meta section to close the topics? I understand the intention to reduce the spam, but, however, I didn't observe this custom in local sections, for example, nor in other sections. If the only intention is to reduce the spam, why isn't this custom applied also in other sections? I've been making an active effort to lock threads in meta once they have reached a conclusion. If anyone has any reason why the thread should be unlocked, you are welcome to request that it be unlocked, and I'll happily do so. But Meta is one of those sections that spammers feel that they can hide their spam, and be outraged when their posts are deleted under the guise of "this is supposed to be a special section about the forum!". |

I saw yesterday, by pure chance (and while I was on my mobile phone), a topic where a guy was auctioning his Samsung S23 as he could not sell it otherwise (at least, this is what he said)... If I remember well he said the entry is 40.000 satoshis.
He sounded a bit shady, as he asked for the money first and make the auction afterwards (lol), instead of using an escrow, but I thought that maybe he is new here and he does not know about escrows. Anyway, I searched again for that topic, willing to suggest him that he may look suspicious for proceeding like he did, but I can't find the topic anymore.
Has anybody else seen the topic? Or know what happened to it? I don't remember OP's name... All I remember is that the topic was posted in Games and Rounds or Collectible board.

Również dlatego podałem przykłady z naszego forum: nie jest łatwo zbudować silną reputację, zdobyć zaufanie ludzi i można ją również zniszczyć w minutę. Dla tych, którzy nie wiedzą, zobaczcie co się stało z joggiem, który był użytkownikiem o bardzo dobrej reputacji. Jednak w ułamku sekundy cała jego reputacja została stracona po tym jak popełnił ogromny błąd. I nagle trafił na -40 Trust score.

Utopia review #2I started this second review for Utopia by checking how things changed since my previous review. Please find below my thoughts and suggestions for Utopia. Installation was performed on the following configuration: CPU Ryzen 1800X / 32 GB DDR4 / SSD / Windows 10 Pro. Version used was Utopia 1.2.202. 1. First of all, I noticed that on the website, on the download page, the 32bit version is not available. It is mentioned there but it can't be accessed. Ironically, just above it there is the 64 bit version and there is stated that it's the recommended version but, as the 32 bit version can't be selected, then the 64 bit version is not just recommended, but also the only available version. This issue is still present. 2. During installation, Windows Defender popped. This issue did not occur anymore (probably because I allowed the process during first installation). 3. Within same place as the one from the above picture (meaning at the generation of the private key step), at the bottom-right of the page there is a meter showing 0 and no explanation about what it means. Just next to it there is network signal meter which, in my case, was showing a very low signal or no signal (I don't know how to interpret it) but, however, I had connection to Internet in that very moment, therefore the network meter does not seem to work correctly. This issue can not be reproduced anymore. 4. Alt+F4 does not close the application, but minimizes it to Tray. This issue is still present. As a plus, if the user presses Alt+F4 in the login window, the app minimizes to task bar (so it's not closed nor minimized to Tray, but minimized to task bar).5. During the "welcome screens", when reaching the page about Community Support, there is a link: https:support.u.is. Clicking on it opens a tab in the user's external browser, not the built-in Idyll Browser.Same thing happens when clicking on "Get Cryptons" and "Shop with Cryptons". This issue is still present. As a plus, same issue occurs if the user selects Treasury Data (under UUSD) and clicks on the etherscan address displayed under Supply tab. At same time, clicking on "View exchanges list" (under CRP - Request Cryptons) opens, correctly, the Idyll Browser. 6. Not sure if it's intended, but it seems that lowest character limit for usernames is 1 character. I managed to create a username named #. This issue is still present. As a plus, I observed the following behavior:
- certain characters ca not be typed inside username field and also inside the Basic Information field (username field) -- while creating a new account. These characters are the following: ~, |, \, /, <, >, ?, ", : and * (additionally, @, (, ), { and } can't be typed inside Basic Information field (while creating a new account); ~ can be typed inside Basic information field).
- when typing an incorrect username in the login screen multiple (and different) errors are displayed
  8. I am not sure about this (perhaps I did not look where I was supposed to?) but changing layout from View menu does not make any change. I selected all options from there and I did not see any change This issue is still present. 9. At the login screen, selecting "Remember me" remembers only the user, not also the password. This issue is still present. 10. During welcome screen, on the theme selection screen, the user is informed that there are two pre-installed themes; however, they are four: Light, Dark, Classic Light and Classic Dark. This issue is still present. 11. I noticed that some parts are not localized in any languages. These parts are the following:
- "Import account" string from login screen
- "Light", "Dark", "Classic Light" and "Classic Dark" strings from theme selection screen shown during welcome screens
- "Light", "Dark", "Classic Light" and "Classic Dark" strings from View - Switch Theme submenu
- "Backup Private Key" string from "File" menu
- "Verify Transaction" string from uWallet menu
- "Threaded UI render (experimental) string from Tools - Settings submenu This issue is still present. 12. Localization-wise, I would recommend you to perform a thorough check on all languages, using testers native in each localization supported. Using natives is a must, in order to make sure that the translation was not only correctly made but that it is also idiomatic. By chance, I am a Romanian native and I observed that some parts are not properly translated in Romanian. I uploaded on imgur three examples: https://imgur.com/a/MHMZE09. However, I did not check the entire app's localization in Romanian. If you are interested in a thorough check, please let me know./quote] This issue is still present. .13. The Games section is a nice addition. I was thinking to suggest you to implement more board games. Maybe backgammon would be a plus. This issue is still present. I accessed again "Console" tab and now CPU usage is always at 4% and above (it fluctuates between 4% and 4.8%). This issue is still present. As a plus, now CPU usage stays at values greater than 3% while accessing any tab from Network Dashboard menu (Indicators, Network Eye, Console -- both General and Debug)
I also checked the issue reported by NeuroticFish and I observed that the issue is still present.
During today's tests I also noticed two more issues: i. The small menu showed by right-clicking on Utopia's picture from Tray bar becomes almost unresponsive if this menu is accessed while trying to uninstall the application. Practically, the steps are the following: access Device Manager - Programs and Features; select Utopia; click on "Uninstall/Change". At this point, an error message is displayed, saying "Please close Utopia before uninstall". While having on the screen the window containing this error message, right-click on Utopia's picture from Tray bar. The small menu displays with big delay and its branches (Show utopia, Hide utopia, Online status, Settings, Mute Sounds and Exit) can be hovered / selected with difficulties. (Please note that this issue occurred in 3 or 4 occasions out of 5 attempts; after each occurrence I reinstalled the app; at 5th try (so after 5 reinstalliings) it did not occur anymore.)  ii. Inside the small menu described above, "utopia" should be changed with "Utopia" (at these menu branches: "Show utopia", "Hide utopia") and "Sounds" should be replaced with "sounds" (at these menu branch: "Mute Sounds"). I will end here this feedback, but I will come back in case I will find any other bug on the website or in case I'll have more suggestions. I hope this helps.

Yes, I will continue to use CEXs because it is convenient and there is always a solution if you do not want to provide your personal data to such services. What is that solution for using a CEX, which always requires KYC, without providing your personal data? A fake ID? As for this story, there are such stories in every sector of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, altcoins, exchanges, pools, etc. Just one terrible example does not mean that absolutely the entire industry is structured this way and this awaits all users of centralized exchanges. This is right. It is a cautionary tale. Yet, on the same principle, no house was ever broken by a burglar until a burglar broke in for the first time. This is correct. My point is that it's unavoidable not to submit our personal details anywhere, especially online, and thus, the damage has already been done. This is sad, but true.
