Heads-up: I already found translators which will work on translations for the following languages: Pidgin, Bengali, Filipino and French. Besides, I also talked to a Russian translator and this translation has already been done: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5467744.0]is already done. I am still communicating with other translators for even more languages. Stay tuned!

but cygan for the next raffle prioritizes the signature campaign, of course all Unijoin participants have a chance if they know that this raffle is for Unijoin participants only [...] The highlighted part is exactly the issue here, as not all campaign participants would have a chance, lol. Only 16 of them will have that chance, meaning that only 75% of them will actually have a chance.
Otherwise you could use the same method as KrogothIndeed, that is a viable alternative. krogoth runs these raffles for a long time now and, although at some point he used to make 16 spots raffles (that was years ago), he later switched to 100 spot raffles and there was no problem if not all spots got filled, because after a week he always announced that he will roll no matter if not all spots are filled... So I believe that this would also be a good alternative if 16 spot raffles will not be chosen.

@GazetaBitcoin with the 20 participants i meant the participants in the signature campaign. so there would be the possibility to fill the 16 spots completely with these 20 users I understand -- and this is exactly what I said: if there are 20 participants and only 16 spots then 4 of them will be left out, right? And this does not seem fair for all, considering that the basic idea was to dedicate the raffle to the campaign participants... For applying such idea, in my opinion, all campaign participants should have a chance, but this can't be done in this case, as they are 20 while the spots are only 16... This is why I suggested, instead, to allow everybody to participate and make the raffle with only 16 spots. It would look incorrect to say "the raffle is for the campaign participants", considering that not all of them can participate...

how would you like it, that again 16 spots (a-f & 0-9) are given away and this time only the users can participate, who are also participants in the UniJoin signature campaign from icopress in the current week (in which the raffle starts)? that would be 20 participants with 16 spots I am not sure I understand... You want to make a 16 spots raffle, I get that. I also understand that you want to be eligible only the users which are enrolled this week in UniJoin campaign. But then I don't understand the part "that would be 20 participants with 16 spots". 20 users won't fit in 16 spots, right...? So 4 will be left out. From my perspective I would rather switch again to a 16 spots raffle, as the first raffle was done, but allow everybody to participate. It seems it takes a while to fill a 100 spots raffle but I am sure that a 16 spots one will be filled very fast (first raffle was filled in only 43 minutes).

Since nobody made any new proposal lately, I was thinking to add to our to-do list this topic: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously!. It's a KYKCless peer 2 peer exchange and it was what all bitcoiners need more and more nowadays, as these exchanges protect their privacy, unlike CEXs. If the topic will be added to the to-do list, please be aware that it was already translated in Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Arabic languages, so there's no need for translations in these languages. Later edit: 5 translators already accepted the new challenge, for Pidgin, Bengali, Filipino, French and Russian languages. So these languages can be excluded as well. (In fact, the Russian translation is already done.)

Thank you, you are very kind! And yes, that would be awesome! Roger that! I will talk to some translators and I'll see what I can do. I'll keep you updated with my progress

Speaking about Spiral explorer, it seems that its name was modified meanwhile, although it did not pass the Beta phase yet. According to their website, the new name is Blyss. Should we also update this name in our tables (current and old formats / OP and translated topic)?

Oh no! What happened to the fortune? I see that, after my previous post, where I asked for references about the fortune mentioned by OP, he changed the topic title, eliminating the fortune. According to ninjastic.space, the topic initially looked like this: So it seems that " the full new opportunity to make great fortune" simply vanished oh no! What happened to that opportunity?! I was so happy knowing that I could earn that fortune!

I don't see any reference about how to make a fortune. Perhaps I missed that part.

I think that Julian already became a martyr, after spending 7 years in self-imprisonment inside Ecuador embassy, where he also had to live a lot of humiliation during his last months there (embassy employees were cutting his Internet access, the electricity or they were accusing him of all sort of idiotic things [1], [2]). As a plus, after he was turned out by the embassy and handed to UK Police, he was placed in a prison way before his trial started; he was kept in jail during the trial; and even after winning that trial! He was also kept in jail even after spending an initial sentence of 50 weeks of jail time! All this is absolutely outrageous! And regarding US, I believe that they reached such a level of irritation, determined by the fact that they still can not take him there, that they don't care anymore of they make him a martyr. They are acting like they are blinded by fury and their only purpose is to get him there at any cost...

Thank you for sharing this, cygan! It is a very important article. As a matter of fact, I also had it bookmarked for months now (maybe even more than 1 year), as I intended to write a topic about Cypherpunks and I thought that some information from this article may be useful for my purposes. (I did not write that topic yet and I don't know when I'll do it, but it is still on my to-do list.) However, I had this article saved from CoinDesk: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2016/04/09/bitcoin-and-the-rise-of-the-cypherpunks. Apparently, Jameson Lopp is also a columnist at CoinDesk. At first I thought the CoinDesk article was pure plagiarism, as it looks 100% identical with the one you shared, but I noticed afterwards that it's the same author. In any case, this is a very good reading for anyone interested to learn about Cypherpunks.

UniJoin a mai publicat ipe blog nca un articol foarte interesant: Bitcoin: The story of early versions of digital money.

In my case I have also enjoyed this week's article that delves into the prehistory of Bitcoin, or the background that made it possible, showing us how wwhen the internet as we know it had not yet been invented the foundations of Bitcoin were already being laid by people committed to privacy and distrustful of large centralized organizations. Of course, governments saw in these movements a threat to their power and tried to put stones in the way but history shows that they did not achieve their goal. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed this essay as well! And, if you are interested about ancient times, " when the internet as we know it had not yet been invented" then I can also recommend you a book: Underground: Tales of Hacking, Madness and Obsession on the Electronic Frontier. You can learn from that book about Australian hackers which activated before TCP/IP era (Australians, just like our queen ), how they managed to hack so many important networks and, of course, you will also learn about Julian Assange's (known as Mendax in that period) group of hackers. Hehe, that was nice catch, PokerPlayer But... what is the connection between our queen's first post and the blog articles?
Thank you for sharing this new material, iwantmyhomepaidwithbtc2! I hope that you will also subscribe and like This is an extremely interesting subject and, IMO, unfortunately too under-documented! True... Blushing

I was thinking if eXch would think to revamp this thread a bit. For example, the way post #1 is written looks oldish... Maybe a new design for the main topic would look better and, maybe, it would catch also the attention of more users? Besides, there is a quote in OP which I am not sure from where it is taken, as it does not appear on the website (or, at least, I did not see it).
Other than that, I also noticed this post: We have registered another account back in 2014 named "eXch" which has no posts and was locked due to inactivity, however we still have its password [...]
Maybe the forum administration will consider deleting that account to rename this one. My suggestion is to contact theymos about this issue, as there are infinitesimal chances for him to see this post inside this thread. Best approach is to send him a PM and explain the situation, then kindly ask to change your name. It does not happen very often but I witnessed a few such changes within last years, so there is hope.
