1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Bridging the Gap Between the Centralized and Decentralized World on: November 01, 2017, 03:28:34 PM
Hi MiningHabit,

These aren't my "growth numbers" or projections of any kind, and certainly isn't some scammy investor pitch. You may have missed TimMarsh's post (above), which was the whole reason for the chart:

Tim: "But it is just as likely that DNotes is being used for daily transactions and a single DNote could be worth $4,000."

If DNotes is going to be successful as global digital currency for all, an investment vehicle, next-gen venture capital, used in global trade & commerce, etc, what do you think the marketcap would have to be in 10 years to encompass all those functions? I wanted to answer the math side of the question, but the conservative side of me would only go up to $1,000.  Grin

"Note: I used monthly compounding in the calculations for staking rewards - It may be off a bit, but it will be close. The $1,000 potential price for DNotes in the chart is my conservative example for Tim M's $4,000 price."

This is what I was aiming for in presenting the chart this way:

Tim: "Thanks Chase, for doing the math and presenting it so clearly. I really like it how you broke it down into the increasing number of DNotes due to holding onto the investment, and the increase in value of the total amount of DNotes owned with different projections. Very clear. I often hear how Alan and the DNotes team believe it is important to start saving early, but seeing the numbers, and the impact of compound interest makes that so much more clear."

At the end of 10 years, it shows how many DNotes you have, and you decide what you think the price will be at that time. The 'illustrative' intention of $10, $100, or $1,000, was to make it easy for anyone to calculate a projected potential unit price based on what THEY thought it might be. ie. - if I think DNotes will be $200 each, I only need to double the calculation at $100.

MiningHabit: "Within that context, sl-avik's confusion is understandable. Citing numbers that require 125%-200% compound annual growth rates for illustration purposes....is not terribly illustrative."

Almost every other cryptocurrency has already experienced their massive price appreciation with nothing to back it. DNotes has purposely stayed low key and now has significant value available at a very low price - this is a fact, and nothing more. It is very shortsighted to look at DNotes current price as any indication of where it will be in 10 years.

"Where we are now matters far less than where we are going from here." -Alan Yong

I gotcha. Just saying that illustrations like that can confuse people, and that is exactly what happened with some folks.

And sure, this space is rife with rampant speculation, pump and dumps, and the like. There are a lot of awesome blockchains out there which have experienced appreciation, but it's folly to suggest nothing backs that. Syscoin was 1 cent in early March. And now it's 23 cents. Nothing backs that? Really? Same with Monero, NEM, NEO, and quite a few others.

Really hope the "scammy investor pitch" line wasn't directed at me.

Lastly, appreciate all the work and DNotes community leadership that you do, and I really enjoy all your DCEBrief stuff. I am a big believer in long-term thinking (Bezos' Regret Minimization Framework is a personal totem for me). But let's not pretend that price is completely irrelevant.

The price is important, it impacts the growth rate and scaling of DNotes in a significant way. Stabilizing the growth trajectory is an important factor in our upcoming upgrades. If DNotes was, for instance, consistently a dollar, it would give us the fuel and we could more rapidly deploy the DNotes strategy and continue to the growth from there. However, as you said it's much more important over the longer term, rather than over the short term. The price of DNotes is 300+% higher than it was a year ago, that could go down, that could go up, only the open market can determine that.

ok, if DNotes will 10$ why now price such low?
where support?
why people do not want buy DNotes now when it such low and price all time down?
and when price stop go down?
how DNotes will 10$ if price again down and down?

Hi sl-avik,

The chart is merely showing how the DNotes 2.0 CRISP interest, staking reward, and the 365 day deposit will add to your balance. The second part of the chart shows how an increase in the price of DNotes over the next 10 years would affect your long-term investment.

"The chart below gives you an idea of the potential growth of DNotes 2.0 if you take advantage of the various rewards opportunities. Nothing is guaranteed in cryptocurrency, the markets are volatile, and you should never invest more than what you are comfortable putting into a high-risk investment."

As far as the price going down, DNotes is not alone - it is the nature of the industry. The majority of people in crypto right now are attracted to the latest hyped up ICO, and may not understand the significance of DNotes doing things differently. Many of the coins with inflated marketcaps have nothing to support their value, and could see a lot of selling pressure in the near future.

If you want to know why I believe DNotes has the potential to grow to $10 - $100 in 10 years, you may want to check out the roadmap here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1924858.0   Smiley

A couple of cents to add to this thread....Chase, whilst I appreciate your chart, I'm not sure it quite lands as intended. sl-avik brings up some important points as to why.

Personally, I have a very outsized part of my Crypto portfolio in DNotes. Have held and not sold literally since the first block. Though I did sell some to bet on the last world cup in bitcoin :-)  And I won't lie, it does hurt whenever I update my holdings to see litecoin or bitcoin crushing it, and DNotes going from Top 75 to 100...200...and now 300.

Within that context, sl-avik's confusion is understandable. Citing numbers that require 125%-200% compound annual growth rates for illustration purposes....is not terribly illustrative.

To couch this in the IRL realm....

I feel exactly the same way looking back on some investor pitches and Board decks we've created for my company in the past. Some of the growth numbers we used were wild. And in present day looking back, wildly off. They were possible at the time, but I think we ended up doing a disservice to ourselves by setting the context in such a way.

I feel similar to some projections that we've sent out recently. In fact this was my exact critique to my CEO on Friday when reviewing something we were sending over a possible partner.

While I won't make predictions of the future price of DNotes, we are constantly growing and moving DNotes into a better position on multiple fronts and I believe that should be reflected in the value of DNotes. The comparison of company growth may not exactly be a good measure to compare to cryptocurrency, they are both speculative in different ways, also a company doesn't typically generate new shares on a constant basis like a cryptocurrency. Growth and prediction factors will be wildly different at this stage. Chase is merely putting forth a personal opinion, with some figures with a range of prices, rather than an official growth projection from DNotes Global Inc. Ultimately giving people an informed way to make their own judgement.

One of the factors at play today is block reward. The blockchain today releases upwards of 30,000 DNotes per day or almost 1,000,000 DNotes per month to miners, the majority of which have significant reasons to immediately liquidate those DNotes. Such as electricity and hardware costs. So let's say buy support has to continue at somewhere in the range of $50,000 currently per month just to compensate for the mining reward, creating constant negative pressure on the market. Additional buy support appears to come in waves, and I'm sure much of that is speculators, buying with the intent of selling at a higher price as soon as possible. The lasting effect from buy support can only be short lived in this environment with stronger sell pressure the more buy support there is.

Now imagine if the negative pressure is reversed. Instead of releasing coins to miners with significant reasons to sell, what if they were released to holders of DNotes with no electricity or hardware costs with significant reasons to hold their DNotes while maintaining if not growing DNotes support and perceived value?

If the price remains the same or goes down, it may appear there is no support, but in fact there a significant amount of support just to maintain the price.

Will Polo be part of the swap?

Hi Bitcoin! We do plan to contact PoloniEx and offer to see if they, along with other exchanges currently listing DNotes, would like to participate in the swap process to make it easy for their users and reduce downtime. However, it will be completely at their discretion. They would have to send us the DNotes in exchange for an equal amount of DNotes 2.0.

Am a noble and I hold some dnote.....on polo what is note vault?

Welcome Hardniola! DNotesVault is a online vault for secure online storage of your DNotes, managed by the DNotes team. All funds are managed using a completely offline process and all withdrawals are subject to our manual review process to help ensure account security. There is a guarantee fund to give account holders peace of mind that their DNotes are safe and backed by the fund. You can find more information at DNotesVault.com.

Where is the wallet?

Welcome clartedscunner, you can download the DNotes 1.2 wallet here: http://dnotescoin.com/. If you are looking for the DNotes 2.0 wallet, it is not ready yet, but you can view the current screen shots from our progress here here: http://dnotescoin.com/dnotes-2-0-wallet-screen-shots/

This is a fairly common question: How will the swap process will work for DNotesVault account holders?

Once the DNotes 2.0 launch date is set, we will email DNotesVault users as well as those that have signed up for the newsletter at DNotesCoin.com announcing the launch date and the following process.
Immediately after DNotes 2.0 launch date and time, DNotesVault will go down briefly while we upgrade DNotesVault, and create new wallets for each DNotesVault account holder.
Perform a batch transfer of DNotes 2.0 to those newly created DNotes 2.0 wallets.
Bring back up the DNotesVault, where all account holders will be able to login and see all of their DNotes have now been swapped, 1 for 1, with DNotes 2.0. Those DNotes 2.0 will then be available for regular use as previously.
Then we will send a follow up email notification to all DNotesVault users as well as those that have signed up for the newsletter at DNotesCoin.com.

We will attempt to make this swap process at the DNotesVault our first priority and minimize the downtime as much as possible. Also, all CRISP accounts will be converted to regular DNotesVault accounts at that time.

Additionally, for desktop wallet users (and non-DNotesVault users), we will have a manual swap process where you can send us your DNotes and provide us a DNotes 2.0 address. Anyone who would like to be notified via email, with full instructions, please sign up for our newsletter at DNotesCoin.com (at the bottom of the page).

Kansas Ethics Panel: Bitcoin Campaign Contributions Too Risky

https://dcebrief.com/kansas-ethics-panel-bitcoin-campaign-contributions-too-risky/

It is great that an ethics committee in the US wants transparency regarding donations to parties involved in state elections. I do expect that the apparent anonymity of bitcoin to be significantly disrupted in the future, probably by artificial intelligence. And there will be a lot of people feeling very surprised that they were discovered with a high probability of accuracy.

But I also feel like saying no to bitcoin when it comes to deciding what sources of money are allowed for making politicians act against the will of their constituents a bit empty. It is like you've got a bucket of water, leaking out of its many holes, and some authority says no to another small hole. It is an empty gesture when the bucket is so broken already.

In Australia we have fossil fuel lobby industry that donates money to get their favourite party elected. Then this party allocates significant subsidies to the coal mining industry. It is a fantastic investment and pays better than investing in cryptocurrency. For example, in the financial year 15-16, the combined fossil fuel donations to all parties was about AU$1 million. But the resulting government subsidies to the fossil fuel industry exceeded AU$11 billion. So for every dollar donated, they got ten thousand dollars back. Every year.

Why anybody thought it was a good idea to let businesses openly bribe government officials with political donations is beyond me. They say it is so they can advertise during the run up to elections. But advertising persuades, it does not inform. So they are saying they need the money so that they can stop the public making an informed political decision, and manipulate them to vote emotionally instead.

So whether the money comes anonymously in the form of bitcoin, or if it is publicly handed over as cash from the fossil fuel industry, political decisions no longer represent the will of the people. Instead we are governed by corporations tugging on the puppet strings of political donations. Only when a decision has no negative impact on a donor do the people ever get their will enacted.

Further sources are linked from within this webpage:
https://www.marketforces.org.au/politicaldonations/

I would agree transparency is necessary in a political system that allows donations. However, cryptocurrency offers far more transparency and traceability than cash. According their FAQs http://ethics.ks.gov/CFAForms/FrequentlyAskedQuestions.html donations in cash are allowed up to $100.

Tim, I believe you are correct in your assessment that one day people will be surprised how accurately it will be traced. It is anonymous for the everyday user, just looking through the blockchain, but if, for example, the justice department needed to track an individual as the result of an investigation, they have the capability of doing that today. Not because of cryptocurrency itself, but because it has a trail that leads to other entities. Staying anonymous would be much more difficult than I think people give cryptocurrency credit for. I just don't see how the process is all that much different for cryptocurrency. DNotes does value privacy, but not complete anonymity.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Bridging the Gap Between the Centralized and Decentralized World on: October 26, 2017, 03:54:25 PM

but is it ok to leave the coin in exchange?
If you like trusting other entities with your assets, then it is safe. My personal preference is to trust no-one.

that make sense. Thanks
Paper wallets are you best option if you are planning on holding the coin for a while.

Paper wallets can be a good option. You will want to make sure you there is no way you can lose the paper, and you will likely want more than one backup.

Another risk is if you have any malware logging information on your computer, at the time you create the wallet. Some have suggested using a boot CD or bootable thumb drive so you are running a clean OS, others have suggested using safe mode. Another option is a dedicated offline computer, that never goes online, but that is pretty extreme for most.

One of the easiest ways to make a paper wallet from just about any desktop wallet:
Download the wallet, but don't open it until you've taken your computer offline (unplug the network cable, or turn off wifi).
If you already have run this wallet on this pc previously, you can simply rename the data folder for now,  located in C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\[Wallet App Name], in order to create a brand new wallet.
Open the wallet program.
Go to the Receive tab, where your wallet addresses are listed.
Right-click on the address you wish to save, then copy the address to the clipboard.
Click the Help menu and select Debug.
In the Console tab, enter dumpprivkey and paste in the wallet address (dumpprivkey theaddressyourcopied) and press enter.
From here you can print out the private key and address.
Also, once you are done creating your paper wallets, you can delete the wallet file from your computer located in C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\[Wallet App Name]\wallet.dat and empty your trash.

There are also online paper wallet generators, which you can use instead of a desktop wallet. These can work in a similar way, but bare in mind you must trust the source of the paper wallet generator, and still use an offline and safe process.

DNotesVault mitigates many of these risks for you as a long term storage option by using a secure offline and managed process. Coupled with an account security and verification process to help protect your account. As well as a separately managed guarantee fund to ensure your funds are safe in the event the DNotesVault is compromised in any unforeseen way.

To best understand our logo with 5 cogs, please read Chapter 3 summation of my book “improve Your Odds – The Four Pillars of Business Success” https://fourpillarsofbusinesssuccess.com/book-preview/

Chapter 3: A System Approach – Designing Your Company

The systems approach to designing a business is one of the toughest things for many new entrepreneurs to grasp. Too often, they focus on the power of their ideas, and assume that their personalities are sufficient to create just the type of company they want. Misconceptions of this nature are the reasons that so many of today’s companies are so dysfunctional. The reality is that your company is a system made up of many smaller systems, sub-systems, and individual components. As a whole, your company is just one of numerous subsystems within your industry, local, state, national, global economy, etc., or however you wish to conceptualize it.

Each of those components must work in harmony with every other part of the business if the larger system is to function to its maximum potential. Everything within the system affects everything else, and it means that even seemingly minor problems in one area of the company can quickly ripple throughout the business and negatively impact other areas. Without a systems approach to problem-solving, these complications can quickly alter your corporate culture or otherwise cause broader dysfunction at every level of the organization.

Our systems approach analysis recommends that you emphasize active creation and definition of your business brand, vision, mission, values, and culture, and focus on that as a matter of course. By doing so, it helps to ensure that those fundamental aspects of your company are not changed by internal or external forces in a way that could ultimately harm your enterprise. The broader goal of all of this is to ensure that your team members have been properly empowered to implement your vision by maintaining your established business culture. Values must align with vision. Your culture must be in agreement with your mission. All of these components must be in sync to ensure that every system works in concert with every other system, together creating the broader system alignment every company needs to achieve its goals.

To accomplish this goal, you have to work to create excellence throughout your business, and in every category:

•   Leadership and Management
•   Strategy
•   Execution
•   Structure and Process
•   Delegation
•   Employees
•   Mutual Goals Review
•   Products
•   Customers

I like the Four Pillars graphic you've made BTCwise. I also recall when the original design was being made that it was difficult to bring in a pillar design, though that doesn't necessarily mean it would not be possible. I'm sure something can be worked out. I really like the cogs because they illustrate systems working together. Perhaps there would be a way to integrate pillars and cogs together, like cogs working inside a building constructed of pillars. Depending on what Joe and Alan think, that could maintain the current brand by "adding" to it, rather than taking anything away. The pillar structure wouldn't need to be part of the logo itself by any means. Just an idea.

As Alan mentions above, it's all about enhancing your brand and communicating mission, culture, and values.

Thanks, all, for  your clear responses. I've been a systems designer for about twenty years, and am utterly convinced of how critical systems are to any endeavour with repeated processes. I also did recognise the 'systems' symbolism in the cogs. It is an icon frequently used for systems and even more commonly used for integration.

Having been completely focused on systems as the foundation of a successful business for so long, I had become myopic about it and failed to recognise other contributors to success. This is what interests me so much about Alan's book—it integrates other requirements into the big picture. To me it seems a shame to use a logo that focuses on just systems rather than the holistic wisdom of the book. I do understand that systems impact every aspect of a business, but so does leadership, so does product.

I can understand with a printed book, a reluctance to review branding. But I would recommend just objectively considering the numbers.

a) What percentage of potential market penetration has been achieved so far?
b) What percentage of gained market would be at risk from a brand revision?
c) What increase in potential market penetration could be achieved with a revised brand?
If a=2% and b=25% and c=1%, then a x b < c. Or a quarter of 2% is 0.5% which is less than 1%. Therefore a re-brand would increase potential market share by 0.5% over status-quo.

These are very conservative figures. I would recommend using both maximum and minimum likely values for all criteria and doing a three axis matrix of the results. If in every cell of the matrix c is higher, then a re-brand is more profitable than status-quo.

I also understand that you've put in a lot of effort and generated a lot of material around the existing logo, and the effort required to change it might pay better dividends focused somewhere else. It is also very likely that I am an outlier in the percentile that reads way too much into a logo, and your current version is very possibly the best option. A logo that suits my particular tastes could be a disastrous marketing move.

As for incorporating columns into the current design, there is little difference between a column and an extruded cog. Not that I recommend this because emphasising the columns will just make it more literal and emphasise how there are five, not four of them.

And finally, Alan, I really am going to have to read chapter 3 of your book. While I understand systems well, you introduce concepts of "brand, vision, mission, values, and culture" which I have never considered as things that can be incorporated in a system. And only as I imagine applying it to an accounts-receivable system does it start to make sense.
* If my brand is high-tech, then my invoicing must easily integrate with other people's systems.
* If my vision is to obtain a majority share of the market, my invoicing system must be very scaleable.
* If my mission is to provide a service of great value, then my invoicing system must be efficient and not put a cost burden on my company.
* If my values are to be trustworthy, then my invoicing system must have multiple checks for accuracy.
* If my culture is to be inclusive, then my invoicing system must not penalise my less profitable customers.

Thanks again TimMarsh! Very objective suggestions that we will consider seriously.

There is a lot to like about this design. The balance and colours are just right and lend an atmosphere of authority.

As for the five-cogs logo, it has never made sense to me. Maybe I'm too literal, and would have been happy with four pillars, or something that indicated four qualities, combined with something that indicated a foundation. I suppose, three cogs in triangle formation has always bothered me because of the fact that they can't work together like that. And the teeth of the cogs in the image are unable to mesh because of their different spacing.

I don't know if I'm alone in my reaction to this logo, but if I'm not and at some point it requires changing to something that the public responds to more positively, the sooner that is done, the less re-work will be required.

Thanks, Tim. Your observations are reasonable, though too literal. Perhaps after reading the summation of “A System Approach – Designing Your Company” you may look at it from a different prospective.

In our first design attempt we spent a month working on diverse designs with 4 pillars of various building structures. I did not like any of that. The current logo linked the over-all philosophy of the book perfectly. The book covers many different subsystems or components that must work well as a whole for a company to be truly successful.

The fifth cog represents the “super-system” in which the company interact with; i.e. the industry, global economy or other systems.

Appreciate all the feedback and thoughtful consideration TimMarsh! It is a huge help and we value the extra and objective insights. I can see that being a problem if you didn't see the logo and immediately get the meaning behind it as something to the effect of: Your business is a system and all these cogs are minor contributors that make the whole of your business. However, at this stage, with the branding already on the book that has been distributed and in the hands of many people, as well as our existing brand establishment, it may be to our detriment to attempt to change it now.

That just pertains to the logo itself mostly though. The graphics around the logo can always be enhanced. For now, I'll put these up and we can always look into further updating these graphics.

Looks awesome BTCWise!

Excellent work! I love it. Thanks a lot, BTCWise.

Almost 70 videos with transcripts and bullet points are being produced for the membership site with a completion date of 12/31/17.
This will be followed by an aggressive PR campaign and supporting advertisement. We are offering free membership till the end of 2019. A monthly membership fee of $10 will apply thereafter. 100% of the revenue including book sales will go to DNotes Global, Inc.

This will be a significant contributor to DNotes success. Again, DNotes is different and committed to the long-term. We are willing to do things that others wouldn't do because of the extra efforts or cost required. We believe that the pay-off will be that one day we will be in the position to do things that others can't do. That will give us the competitive advantage.

Good deal, glad everyone likes it. I'll throw these on our social accounts.

Australia Officially Ending Crypto Double Taxation

https://dcebrief.com/australia-officially-ending-crypto-double-taxation/

This is good to see, and interesting to note that Australia is starting to treat cryptocurrency more like money and less like a service. Recently Australia has been pushing back at the big four banks, reviewing bank taxation and more. So maybe their lobby group isn't donating enough to the ruling party at the moment. I don't believe the big four banks in Australia would like to see the influence of cryptocurrency grow.

Though I did understand the Australian Treasurer's press release a bit differently from the article, and maybe the DCEBrief article might need reviewing. The press release states, "Australians are no longer charged GST on purchases of digital currency"

But the DCEBrief article states, "it passed new laws designed to ensure that digital currency users will no longer be subject to Australia’s goods and services tax (GST) when they spend their cryptocurrency.

Thanks TimMarsh! That is correct, it appears the tax is removed for purchases of digital currency, and not when using digital currency to purchase goods.

I love your comment again TimMarsh. Not a lot of time for a substantial response -- I am about to go to bed to catch a flight in 5 hours, where I'll be speaking about the future of money at a conference the day after (should have a video for you guys to watch this time). It'll be roughly 30 minutes long with Q+A at the end.

But, regarding the part you said about refining ideas with the experiences of other people, there is another quote that I like:

"There is no short pathway from smart to wise." - unknown author, I even googled.

Good luck at the conference TeeGee.

"There is no short pathway from smart to wise." - I love this.  Smiley

Excellent Tim! Can't wait to see the vid, good luck!

Bittrex seems to have imploded. Does anyone have any real intel on what's going on over there?

Bitcoin, Altcoin Exchange Bittrex Eyed With Suspicion Due to Thousands of Mysterious Account Closings

I got this same message when logging into my Bittrex account... Looks like another one bites the dust...

Yep, the only thing I came across was the article Brandon mentioned. Are you not able to get into your account either?

To regain access to your Bittrex account they are asking for personal information to verify your identity, which I wasn't comfortable sharing with them. Seeing as how I had next to no cryptocurrency stored on there, it just wasn't worthwhile.

This seems odd, Brandon. I can understand them asking for more information that they don't currently have so that they can comply with some new regulation and avoid being shut down in some location. But new information is not a reliable way of verifying identity.

I leave a parcel with the gate keeper, and ask him to pass it on to Bob, when he comes to collect it. The gatekeeper has never met Bob. When a man turns up and says to that gatekeeper, "I'm Bob, here to pick up a parcel." The gatekeeper answers, I have to be sure you're the real Bob. What's your last name?" Bob says, "Sure, my last name is Jones." The gatekeeper nods. "That'll do, sounds good enough for me. Here's your parcel." Security doesn't work like that.

The security information must be given to the organisation first, before the organisation can use it to verify identity. Imagine logging into a website after a long absence and getting a message, "We've used our AI algorithms to crawl the web and discover your favourite food. Type your favourite food into this box to unlock your account."

I'm agreeing with R-J-F on this incident:
So that's it huh? That's the explanation? Not enough, not at all. They could have avoided all this grief and nonsense by simply alerting us first or, at the very least, putting up a banner on the home page. Does no one consider the consequences of their actions any more? What if someone, on the edge, thought they had lost all their money and jumped out a window? This is no way to conduct business in this day and age. They should take a long hard look at themselves and make some changes in favor of the customers not the convenience of Bittrex. Communications and trust are needed for success. I see neither here.

And I'd like to take this moment to compare Bittrex behaviour to what I've experienced from DNotes Global Inc. DNotes plan what they are doing and share their plans in a timely manner, with clarity. Then if the plan is changed, they provide updates. For major changes they establish a mailing list for people to be kept up to date with. And then they actively monitor their forum and respond directly until the user has no more questions. All of this comes from a single motivation. They believe that "Doing the right thing at the right time" is key to being successful. And they clearly stand by and live their ethics.

Appreciate it TimMarsh, it is the only way we feel DNotes and cryptocurrency can be successful in the long term.

Since we are on the subject on the importance of great customers services and exchange, below is a direct quote from our OP Roadmap for 2018 and beyond:

“Full service centralized exchange where DNotes, Bitcoin, and a selection of other digital currencies and fiat currencies will be traded.” https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1924858.0

2018 will be a very exciting year for DNotes. After launching DNotes 2.0, we will continue its development with an expanded team of developers – potentially a large team. Among various other projects, including blockchain related projects, we will start working on our full service centralized exchange with a commitment to be equal to our competitors and ultimately be superior.

At a minimum, we will be superior in customer services and the protection of their assets right off the gate. We are prepared to spend up to two fully years to do things right. Like some of you, I have had my share of frustration and disappointment and sustained heavy losses because of miss-managed and collapsed exchanges like Crypto Rush, Mint Pal, and Crypsy. All those lessons learned will help us build a better exchange.

Agreed, these problems have resulted in issues for the entire industry and may create a lack of general trust and turn people away from cryptocurrency. This is where a DNotes created exchange can excel, doing the right things at the right time. The exchange we feel is critical to the future of DNotes and an important profit generating entity that will ultimately benefit DNotes stake holders as well, as a part of DNotes Global Inc.
