1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 20, 2022, 07:47:42 AM
With my little experience so far, I have come to realize that most crypto projects that promise Investors excessive returns on their Investment eventually turn out to be scam.
Any projects promising a too good to be true profit is likely a scam. That's why we often advise the investors specially the newbies to always DYOR before investing your hard-earned money. If the profit is not realistic don't invest because no one will give you huge return specially in a short period of time. Thus don't get fooled, if you're aware of this kind of tactic of scammers then you won't be end up as one of unfortunate victim.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 20, 2022, 05:09:42 AM
Accusations without any evidence must be taken with a grain of salt, when people are mad they can say whatever they want as they are simply not in control of themselves at that time, and this is especially true if someone was gambling with money they could not afford to lose.
This is quite common for the gamblers who can't accept their losses in the particular casino. They're spreading false accusation to ruin the casino's reputation. As you've pointed out, without evidence it should be taken with a grain of salt.

However when you ask those same people about bring forward some evidence to support those claims they make all kind of excuses about why this is not possible, and as soon as I hear that I know there is nothing true behind those accusations and in many cases they were the ones that did something to violate the TOS of the casino in question.
I see that most of scam accusations for reputable casinos are often false. When the representative started to clarify the situation, often the accuser is at fault by violating the TOS. Because if the evidence is real and clearly the casino did something unacceptable, it's their obligation to resolve the problem otherwise it can affect their reputation negatively.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 20, 2022, 04:12:31 AM
These are the casinos where I often gamble.

Rollbit
Bitcasino.io
Duelbits
Livecasino
Roobet

Baccarat and Dragon vs. Tiger are what I usually play. Next to it is plinko and slots. I rarely bet in sports and it depends if I like the game or if it's a fight of my favorite boxer.
1504  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 19, 2022, 11:48:09 PM
Most likely they are more focus now on partnership and branding which is good upgrade on their marketing because with that they are targeting the global audiences. But still its good that they keep the signature campaign because for this they can retain their exposure and maybe they will be back on forum events in future if they see they need to implement a promotion if there's good update happen.
Same thoughts. But atleast before they stop their promotions in games and rounds, they already became well known here in the forum as one of the reputable casino. Plus it's a good thing the art contest is consistent aside from their sig campaign. Anyhow, just like what others are thinking, I hope they will restart their past promotions because many users here find it interesting.
1505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2022, 09:12:26 AM
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
There's a possibility for the price to fall further as anything can happen even the unexpected. But I believe it won't fall below $10k since for sure many investors will already take advantage the low price. Anyway I don't want to focus monitoring the current price since it can't help me to stay firm to keep on holding. Thus don't stress yourself and do some activities so you can forget for a while this bear season. Keep in mind it's not permanent though it might take time to recover.
1506  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ronie Alonte Loisa Andalio nanakawan ng crypto on: December 19, 2022, 07:55:54 AM
Tama.
1507  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: December 19, 2022, 07:12:43 AM

I also heard about this casino first time and decided to check the site (without depositing of course). Going through the terms and conditions here https://www.dexterbet.com/en/info/terms-and-conditions, i found that you can deposit in EUR only, so it means that they do not accept cryptocurrencies???
Quote
We accept payments made in EUR. We only settle credit and debit card transactions in EUR. All debit and credit card payments made using other currencies will be settled in EUR. Please note that you may be charged by your bank or financial services provider as a result.

While on their "deposits" page, it says they accept some crypto. This discrepancy needs to be questioned further.

In addition, they implement KYC requests on registration, and it is strange that when a user requests a withdrawal, the user's identity can be declared incomplete and must be re-KYC.
That being said, gamblers might become less interested to register since many of us prefer to stay anonymous as much as possible especially if you're not a whale gamblers. Asking for kyc upon registration is hostile. Anyway, i'm not familiar to this site, moreover if the casino has no announcement thread here, I don't bother registering even they have good promotions and bonuses. I only trust a casino with existing ANN thread here and recommended by other gamblers as a trusted casino so you won't be scam since you read many reviews to decide for yourself.
1508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! 🔥💰 | Premium Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ on: December 18, 2022, 08:55:58 AM
$1500 per week is like $215 per day only and I do even believe low bankroll gambler can achieve it even with $5-10 starting bankroll. This makes me wonder how much you can afford to lose in gambling if you consider that wagering $200+ per day is very high. Does it mean that spending $5-10 also very high for you guys? If it is still very high, so how much you can afford to spend in single gambling session?

I also do not dare to place bets above 50$ in a single game, I prefer to place bets from 1$ to 50$ depending on the game I am betting on and the strategy, for example if I put 10$ then in each game I will I bet 1$ and I let the bankroll grow and after I make a profit of 10$ and I have 20$ I start making bets of 2$ in each game, and so on, because I play for fun, but when whales fall, they they can afford to bet 1500$, even because they have a lot of bitcoins, considering that the price of bitcoin is at 16000$ so making bets of 1500$ in each game is not something risky

but for people who don't have a lot of money, they only have something like 4000$ in their bankroll or less, making a bet of 1500$ in just one game I consider it very risky, because if the person bets 1500$ and loses, then bets 1500 $ and loses so that person will only be left with 1000$ and they will have a greater chance of losing everything and will be bankrupt, then they will have to look for more money to return to deposit in the casino to be able to continue playing

You get it wrong, we are discussing about wager for the whole week, not wager in single bet. The main topic above is about the requirement to claim the bonus code posted in punt's telegram channel, where players who have wagered $1500 in the last 7 days can claim the code. Wagering $1500 can be achieved by betting $0.1-0.2 per bet or even less but for sure someone need to make ten thousand bets or more in order to achieve $1500 wager.

Agree. If you're frequently playing on this site, then achieving the $1500 total wager is not hard and it's not only for whales. Punt is regularly posting a bonus code on their TG channel (if you're following them) and this is meant for their gamblers who are qualified to avail the code and BTW it's only limited. I didn't had the chance yet to be qualified since my total wager for the past 7 days are low hence lucky those who reached the requirement, the value of bonus code is $5, good enough.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 18, 2022, 08:09:43 AM
Yes, in our country, I would say that cockfighting specially during the pandemic, is very rampant as you can play it online. But even prior to it, I used to be avid fan or bettors of this cock fight, so yeah I'm more familiar with it and I would say that I win some money in the past.

Of course, there will always be some groups that are going to condemn this kind of games that involved animals specially in the end one of them are killed for the sake of human betting on them and making money. So to each his/her own belief.
Cockfighting has already evolved a long long time ago. But if we can try to stop it in this new generation, I think that will a lot of help to lengthen the lives not only for those cocks but definitely for those animals who have been fighting each other just to win a bet. For me, it’s more on animal cruelty so it should be encourage to be ban or to stop betting in animals.
In some countries gambling such as cockfighting has become a tradition that has been going on for a long time from time to time, but this type of gambling is a very worrying bet because it smells of torturing living things (animals), in my opinion in the modern era like now this type of cockfighting gambling has is no longer relevant because now there are so many online gambling games available that we can play, I agree with you that law enforcement in all countries are trying to stop this gambling.
Despite of having plenty of games for gamblers to play and bet on, there are still people who used to and preferred this kind of gambling especially for older men or those living in rural areas. This is usual when there's a fiesta or event for people to gather and have an enjoyment. It became a traditional gambling that people can't get rid of even it's an animal cruelty. For new generation, this is not the kind of gambling that we like to bet on since physical and online casinos are already existing to give entertainment even at the comfort of our home.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first attempt to play gambling on: December 18, 2022, 06:52:32 AM
One of the risk that you might ending up into on the time you do get involved with gambling is to become addicted and having the hard time on getting away or avoiding it which is something a very common problem
It will only become a problem if you win for the first time then you're eager to try to gamble again because of the profit. We can't deny it is one of the reason why many of us got hooked in gambling, since we're thinking we will become lucky again. When I gamble for the first time, I enjoyed it because it's entertaining aside from the ability to earn (it's a card game). But after experiencing to lose many times (i'm still young that time and not earning money on my own) I realized it's not a good habit and you'll regret that you used your money in gambling if you already lose it.

1512  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 18, 2022, 04:31:54 AM

Friendly reminder, dont forget to claim your bonuses on the new reward tab especially if you wagered decent amount on the site. Missed 3 of them yesterday because I didnt check the site because there wasnt any world cup games to bet on lol. Lost a few bucks but no biggie, its small amount though but it could be decent if you wager regularly
True it's a reminder for everyone to not missed claiming their bonus especially if you're a regular player.

It happened to me as well because I didn't visit the site for days but I gamble last week playing Baccarat. I just noticed I missed to claim the bonus and even it's not huge compared to others, still, it's a free money coming from them.

Anyway, Rollbit rewards are much better now than before so wager more if you can.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: December 18, 2022, 02:17:41 AM
Are you familiar with this? Or has anybody here been actually charged for having his/her crypto gambling account inactive for several months?
I'm not familiar with this, I thought it's only happening in dormant accounts in banks. Well, I think it's fair if they gave you a notice regarding the status of your account for several times. What's not fair is if they didn't notify you for the account closure then confiscate your funds.

I didn't experience this on the casinos where I play since I don't leave funds for long in my account. Often, I only the deposit an amount that I'll spend to gamble and if ever I win, I always make a withdrawal. I have inactive account on other casinos but i'm not worrying since it has no money left.
1514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 18, 2022, 01:44:31 AM

They are very active before but when they reach the peak of exposure, they stop doing this and even the art contest is not a monthly contest anymore. Roobet is doing great with this art contest though, there are also participants who are submitting an art work from their relatives so maybe, you can also do this if you really want to participate on Roobet art contest.

I wish they would launch some more promotions on this forum as they did before as it was always fun to participate. You had casino promotions (reach a certain multiplier on a game), sports promotions (predict the final score of matches), guess the slot, ...
Yes I remember these promotions, it's really fun to participate. My favorite is guess the slot, I spent time searching to guess the slot correctly but often i'm not lucky and not as good as others. I won only once but still it's worth the time. Guess the total wager is also good. I hope they consider starting these promotions (aside from the art contest) again since it has positive influence to their platform.
1515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why everybody is panicking ? Its a game of greed and fear ! on: December 16, 2022, 08:05:26 AM
There are various reasons why you have to sell your coins and fix a loss. In some cases, investors sell their coins to buy them later at a lower price. We all remember how Tesla sold 75% of its BTC at a loss. Since then, the price of bitcoin has decreased by about 2 times, which means that Tesla can buy 2 times more bitcoins for the same money.
That is if that's the plan, to rebuy at a lower price. But those that I know of, didn't buy when the price fell more but instead, they took the cash and forgot the market.

It's a good strategy for those who have been doing it for most times when the market is uncertain and most likely is about to have some more dump.
And that is a huge problem with that strategy, if the price goes up after they sell then they are going to be very reticent about buying the same coins for a higher price.

However even if they happened to be right and the price went down those people are now going to begin to wonder if the price will go down even further after they buy, so they will be stuck in a cycle in which they will not know what to do, so while such a strategy may seem to have its uses, when you actually try to implement the strategy it becomes quite difficult to do it correctly.
I think it's quite normal to have doubts and asking if you made the right decision to sell on the value that you think is the peaked price and buy during price declining then worrying if it's the bottom. Why worry if you already made profit for selling? The same goes if you had a discount for buying at cheap price? We can't predict what might happen next thus if our decision is not too bad then we should not dwell on it. Just don't panic buying/selling to avoid possible losses, otherwise you'll regret your decision after.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 16, 2022, 01:25:26 AM
Just how bad is the bear market right now?
Historically low prices have endured for a longer period of time in the present bear market cycle than in any other.

Hug the dip. Accept the situation as nothing we can do about it. Besides, for experienced ones, it's not the first time they experienced a bear market.

We won't learn if everything will always go up. There are lots of genius during the bull run but left dumb during the bear run.

Instead of treating the bear market as a negative thing, make that your advantage by accumulating more coins.
Indeed. The bear market is bad for investors who are already losing their patience to wait because they want to take profit. But if we track back the past history, there are much worst that happened to the market yet many coins are able to recover back. What I mean is, use this season for your own benefit by buying a cheap coins with high potential to increase once the current season is over.  Weak investors can't think of positive decision to commit during this time, but investors who used to this kind of situation, they know what's the best thing to do.
1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 16, 2022, 12:46:32 AM
He has a point because many of us are still uneducated when it comes to keeping their assets to a non-custodial wallet. Well, the recent FTX exchange issue gave fear to many people on holding their coins in centralized exchanges thus they decided to switch using a wallet where they hold their keys. But probably many of these users who pull out their funds on Binance didn't understand the function and risk of using a non-custodial wallet. The reason why it's important for us to educate ourselves on how to properly secure our wallet especially our private keys. Anyhow it's still more risky to keep our coins in centralized platform due to hacking and the fact that they can confiscate our funds and for some other reasonings.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: December 15, 2022, 04:43:41 AM
I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?
If you're willing to hold for long term then Bitcoin is the good option because it's a reliable coin and less risky. However don't expect to gain like x10 or more of your initial investment since it's only possible in alts that didn't reach yet their all time high, though this kind of coin is hard to find.

So it's up to you on what you prefer. Is it to invest in Bitcoin which is already proven to be profitable if you invest but it might take time before you can gain? Or alts such as ETH, BNB or a hidden gem that have high risk compared to Bitcoin but can possibly give you huge profit? DYOR to have a better understanding before you invest.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 15, 2022, 03:38:43 AM
Ok, suddenly the casino you're playing asks you for proof of income to be able to withdraw your winnings and to keep your account in good standing, your bankroll every month is $500 and you provide proof of salary that you are making $500 net every month, will they accept that proof will they accept that you are putting all your salary for gambling, will this violate the principle of gamble for fun, because you are working to gamble based on your proof income.
Well it's hard to believe that you're using your whole salary for gambling. How about your other expenses? Are you going to rely on your gambling winnings to have such decision to gamble it all? Anyway, I don't think there's a casino who would care on where their players getting their money to deposit. Isn't it good for them that their players are consistently playing and spending their money on their platform? Because it's none of their business. But is this based on your own experience in a specific casino?
