Pero hindi ba kapag too good to be true dapat kana magduda?

522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 17, 2023, 08:12:29 AM
So you have been a gambler for at least 1year. Before Covid, you were a regular at the physical casino in your locality. You gambled with fiat. But when Covid hit, you discovered online casinos. You didn't need to gamble with fiat anymore but with cryptocurrencies. You tried out many online casinos but finally settled for one or two. There's no perfect casinos but you have stuck with this one occasionally trying out new casinos as advertised on the forum or out there but you still return to your favorite casinos. What are the features in your favorite casinos that you like that makes you keep going back and what are the features that you don't like at your favorite casino but you overlook them and still play there?
The UI, instant withdrawal, responsive support and user friendly mobile version are the features I like on the casino where I usually play. What I don't like, game restrictions due to its provider and the fact that I have to comply on kyc verification (though I already did) because I still value my privacy. But since this casino is trustworthy and been here for years it's not an issue anymore.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 17, 2023, 06:20:28 AM
Of course, we can force them to make use of our advice but a stitch in time saves nine and it's better to listen than for them to make unnecessary scam accusation thread.
If they complain about experiencing fraud from the casino, it seems to be their own fault for not being careful enough in looking for the casino. If they can be careful in their casino selection process and not rush to find more information, they will not run into serious problems such as scams. Only those who can find more information by reading reviews from these forums can find a casino that suits them. And even though it may take some time before they can find the casino, I think it's still worth it because it's related to the money they'll use to gamble.
Yes, it's their fault, not ours since the necessary advice is provided but they choose not to follow it. However, seeing their complaints and scam accusations thread makes me feel sad.
Another mistake newbies gamblers make is casino reviewing website recommendation which is manipulated by the reviewing website team based on the paycheck they are receiving from the casino.
Many review sites are not reliable and as you've said they're paid to manipulate and make a positive reviews even the specific site is not recommendable. Thus we should not entirely rely on review sites and choose a casino based on the experience of the real gamblers here and our own research to know how reputable the platform.

When it comes to new casino, it's usual to have doubts at first. The good thing of having an ANN thread here is we can ask questions and observe if the casino is not a scam and worth to give a try playing.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 17, 2023, 04:19:31 AM
Why do they leave that much in there, or is it simply for show off?
It's likely for showoff. I'd like to believe that after doing so, they will withdraw the money. Otherwise it's a mistake to leave a huge amount on your account because you can lose it again. But there are gamblers who feel satisfied if they can showoff their winnings to others, it's something to be proud of for them and that's understandable.

In my case, i'm just an average gambler so I only use a small amount to play. If I got lucky and able to win a decent, I withdraw the money to prevent myself using it again. Then I'll come back after a week, that's what I used to when i'm playing.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 17, 2023, 02:50:57 AM

maybe that is the reason why the team changed that rules in bonus spins because some are just partaking to have that free spins even if their entry is not as competent than others submitted .

Oops, I think I have also missed this opportunity but I was honestly careless to read all the terms and conditions about the artwork contest. Maybe I am too used to artwork contest that I know old rules where you just have to submit artwork, best submission gets the winning entry after Roobet team select it and that’s all. :-)

It’s fair from the Roobet team that they have changed the rules to the above quoted post since it’s not getting much of the attention.  Or there could false submissions with so called “instant” submission too. Whatever it is, it’s way professional and thoughtful contest so far. I think we deserve this as always.
You have been participating since Day one mate if i remember it correctly but never that you come across that give away?  Cheesy Grin Grin
or maybe you have been awarded but you did not come to claim because you have no idea at all?
but anyway , this past event I noticed you are not joining or sending one of your craft ? specially your very complicated skills in Pencil making art?
The bonus free spins are just recently added on the rules, started last May with the theme Roo Rock the Cosmos. This is due to the AI arts submitted of some users who joined this contest. Hence, it is added so the artists can show their work in progress as proof that it's not made through AI. Anyway yes, it's been a while since we last saw @so98nn participated on art contest with his pencil carving skills. Do you still have plan to join again?
526  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 17, 2023, 01:14:16 AM
Hi, i visited your site and and skimmed the casinos you are claiming to have no kyc. Quotes i am adding next to Casino names are directly from these sites.

-SNIP

Hello,
all KYC levels are determined together with the casino teams.
Licensed casinos have to include kyc terms to comply with the license laws, this does not mean they will do KYC!
The KYC levels are defined if KYC is needed and when.
You can't be so certain that the casino will not really ask KYC on their users since they're regulated. It's still on their discretion and can be asked at anytime, maybe if the time comes you win a decent amount on their platform.

Anyway, I appreciate the effort for making these lists. However, those casinos are not really a no kyc platform. Therefore gamblers must read the ToS (especially the kyc section) before considering to try playing.
527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 15, 2023, 04:45:35 AM
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
In general, the good time to sell is of course when the price is already increasing. But many of us prefer to wait longer (this is understandable) for wanting more then ending up missed the opportunity to take profit. Anyway, it depends on what we prefer, if you're already happy with what you gained, sell. Small or big, that's still a profit and that's what matter here.

Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens?
I actually I have a set target price on when to sell. But I can't say for now if I will go all in, then buy again when the price decreased or just take profit and still hold some. Let's just see if the time comes.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 15, 2023, 02:37:08 AM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...
If this scenario happened (and yes it's turning worse currently), I think aside from holding my crypto in my wallet for future gains. I will focus on what can give me an income to still survive and that is through looking for an opportunity for additional income. It could be building a business that is timely and still indemand or switching to agriculture since we have land that can be use for farming.

It's better to have a plan and be prepared but the current situation is what we should think about. Because we don't even know if we're still existing if such unfortunate incident (global economy collapse) happened.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 15, 2023, 12:31:49 AM
It's interesting to note that many Bitcoin holders might not be fully capitalizing on the inherent volatility of this digital asset. The Bitcoin market can undergo price fluctuations of around 3 to 4 times in a single day, which offers ample opportunities for those who choose to engage in active trading.
Well, to be a trader doesn't necessarily mean you can always timing the price fluctuations to profit. Because it requires knowledge, strategy, analysis and time management, these are crucial if you're going to be a trader. Moreover not all traders are gaining, the reason why some of them chose to just hold their Bitcoin because it is less stressful.

I'm an active trader before who turned a long term hodler. This suits me and more beneficial. If you're able to profit in trading then good for you. But keep in mind that you can't dictate the people here to do as you say since we have different strategy to maximize our chance to profit in crypto regardless of as a trader or long term hodler.
530  Local / Pamilihan / Re: buying monetized Youtube channel on: September 14, 2023, 04:28:00 AM
Parang malabo 'yang hinahanap mo, kahit ako if monetized channel ko with monthly passive income di ko talaga ibebenta. Unless bilhin mo with  at least, 1 year revenue ng channel. And if kung bibili ka, number of subscribers matters, more subs mas malaki offer.

Pero syempre nga more viewers, more kita.

531  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin: Bullish or Bearish on: September 14, 2023, 02:24:37 AM
Bitcoin's recent performance has raised concerns
I'll stop you right there: bitcoin's performances can cause concerns only to people who don't know (or understand) what bitcoin is and, especially, they think only short term. If someone is worried because bitcoin lost 10-20% it's just not for them, at the end bitcoin never pretended to be something for everyone.
Well said. It's understandable if many investors are worried when there's a correction but just stop there, don't think negatively further. Because if we did our research before investing to Bitcoin then we have an idea on its history on how it bounce back unexpectedly.

The future might be uncertain and no one can predict what will happen after few months or years but remember that no one coerce you to invest. Therefore, if you can't stand the current situation full of uncertainty then you can quit. Bitcoin is not for weak investors and solely for people who have trust and bullish on its future.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweat coin. Is this real? on: September 14, 2023, 01:09:25 AM
So am not all that into airdrop but some of my guys have been disturbing like hell to take part saying of these airdrop do actually pay so I later let me send me some airdrop link and I tried this one particular one {sweat coin} but for some time I have not done anything with this but I do get lots of notification on my telegram. And I saw an interesting message which I said I should ask the community how real is it about the message sent to me by sweat coin.
~
You haven't done anything, you received that kind of amount? Isn't is suspicious already.

I don't know the exact reason why there are some people who are doing this kind of thing in Telegram, but avoid these kind of airdrops at all costs. I mean where do these people get that kind of money to just give it to random stranger for free? If it's Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos or any rich businessmen out there then it's possible, but I don't think that they'll be doing this as well.

Overall, we already said that this is a scam attempt, and there's no way for you to get that money for free. Well, you can try if you want if you're too curious about it as long as you will not give anything that's personal for you, but just by looking at that picture, it's pretty obvious that it isn't real.
If someone message you about a free money, it's a crystal clear as scam. Especially if you're not participating, subscribing or doing any task to deserve such money. Well it's not really new because even before, many scammers have the same strategy to attract people.

They will not give such tokens without anything in return because for sure they will ask first to send eth or any alts to push through the transaction. Well, only newbies or those who are not careful can fall into this trap.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: September 13, 2023, 08:19:03 AM
In my opinion, it depends on how we approach gambling. If we think that gambling will only have a negative impact and harm ourselves, why do we still continue to gamble? it's better not to play, right?
Because it's tempting for many of us. The thought of having a chance to win big is what attract the gamblers to play. Despite knowing its negative effect once you lose control.

If gambling causes the impacts you mentioned (robbery, murder, rape, etc.) then in my opinion it is very fatal and should not be done by society.
These are just the worst that gamblers can do to continue playing. The reason why many people don't like gambling because of its addictive effect. Although the gambler itself is the one responsible on why he turned himself as an addicted gambler who committed a bad deed.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 13, 2023, 02:21:18 AM
Do you have experience playing at real casinos and online gambling sites? Is there a difference playing there? I want to know.
I have no experience playing on physical casinos but I had the chance to go there before, with a friend and he's the one playing. The experience is different compared to playing online since in physical casino there are many people around and you'll kinda feel the real pressure and excitement.

While if you're playing online, you can focus because often we prefer to be alone. It's still exciting especially if we're in winning streak but, still, it is different if you gamble on physical casinos because you can encounter many gamblers losing and winning on their chosen games to play. Even you're just watching them, you'll feel attached.
535  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Grab magkakaroon ng features for crypto, NFT, kelan kaya magkakaroon sa Pinas? on: September 13, 2023, 01:29:02 AM

536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take your eyes off from the fall in price on: September 12, 2023, 07:43:42 AM
Whenever there is decline in price, it serves to be a panic factor. To avoid such situation it is always good to stay away from watching the market. When we get into something new, we should have the eagerness to keep ourselves in a better position knowing everything associated with it. Through this it is possible to understand the real market and prepare ourselves than just losing due to panic waves.
It is necessary to have knowledge on what we're getting into so that we can understand what's happening and would not wonder on why the price is declining. But the problem to some investors are they didn't take time to learn before investing and just blindly invest without even a basic knowledge about it. These investors are those who often panic when the market is in bearish so they just sell at loss before the price goes down further because they think that's the best decision during this time.

Bear season is inevitable but this won't stay forever. So for newbies, stop worrying because as long as you're holding Bitcoin and established coins. The time will come it will bounce back once the bear season is over.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 12, 2023, 04:47:53 AM
Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?
I have not experience this situation yet. But if you're an investor and had an experienced of your wallet got hacked twice or more before, you'll question yourself right? What's lacking, on why you keep experiencing this? Hacking is traumatizing especially if the money involved is huge. So it's understandable if this can cause an investor to quit. Well, for me I will still buy because the problem is not Bitcoin itself but my negligence.

What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?
In every mistake we learned a lesson. So take the past experiences as guide to not repeat the same mistakes again. Be extra careful and do your research on how to keep your Bitcoin safe.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 12, 2023, 02:29:43 AM
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?
Few years ago, i'm a kind of gambler who gamble without discipline. I forgot my responsibilities to my family and rarely go out with friends because I prefer to just gamble. Gambling is more enjoyable and the thought of winning really gave me the eagerness to continue what i'm doing. I started playing in moderation then I became out of control. What changed me is when I almost lost my family due to gambling. I took a vacation away from the city and gadgets (everything that can tempt me to gamble) with the support of my family. It's not easy but if you're determine to overcome your gambling addiction then you can definitely change for the better. I'm still playing now but not often unlike before.
539  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 12, 2023, 12:32:48 AM
The biggest problem has always been the verification of the KYC, what you are talking about is good to apply, pass the KYC by the time the exchange is activated because everything related to verification is already ready so that you do not have any problem So when this is done there should no longer be a problem, the same thing I think should be done with the casinos, before depositing the KYC process should be completed because it is annoying if you play, win and then they put in a lot of hurdles to pass the KYC , this is something that I do not recommend that anyone let it pass because at the moment of withdrawing no one likes to wait, sometimes a player may feel that the player does not want to grant him the withdrawal.
This is the advantage of completing the kyc requirement before playing. You don't have to worry even you win huge because you're already verified. There are really cases wherein a certain casino is holding a gambler's winnings or not accepting the documents for some reason. Well, it only happened if the site where you're playing is shady. In addition, it's a must for all gamblers to read the ToS of the casino so we're aware of their rules and can prevent ourselves violating any of it.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 11, 2023, 08:44:15 AM
To your question is yes. The number of rich men who gamble are fewer than the poor people who gamble but the rich people are also gambling for money and fun. It they gamble with money loss the bet they will not happy about that and the fun of the game will not be interested but whereby the game was won then the fun is also continues. Money is not satisfactory to anyone so everyone is still looking for money. And why the lower class gamble more than the rich people is because the lower has nothing to do for a living so they gamble more than the rich people. The rich people are busy with their office works.
Indeed. Rich people are not solely playing to have fun but to make money as well. But when it comes to poor, often, they're into gambling because they want to double their money in snap. Even they're struggling financially and don't have food on the table, they can still find way to gamble. Though we know that's not how gambling should be treated when we're playing, it's not unusual that many gamblers are still resorting to gambling because they want to earn huge or become rich quick if luck is on their side.
