More transparency and security. Today, if there's a bug in their database systems, or hackers break in, the "true balance" of LD can be altered. I imagine they are spending quite a bit of resources protecting and auditing against this.

Actually no. Expand Explain. the reason that most people, don't like treading BTC for PP, is BTC transfers are inreversiable(can not be turned back), and PP is reversible. so people with PP can cheat, and steal. its the same thing, with MTGOX-USD, its reversible, and people with PP can cheat. |
