1521  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can I buy BTC for my institutional client? on: January 04, 2022, 03:53:11 PM
Hello - my institutional client would like to start buying BTC via escrow services - where can I find sellers with BTC volume who will participate?
Why do you need escrow?
Why do you need to find a seller?

If there's an exchange platform we can use that has acted as an escrow itself which is totally safe.
If you're afraid of the KYC, we have decentralized exchangers and if not, a centralized exchange might you're looking for.
For the decentralized exchnage I highly recommend,

Additionally, as you can see under my signature, it's a platform where you can buy/sell cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin.  That's a good choice either.

1523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elsavador President Predicting $100,000 Bitcoin price looks like another joke on: January 03, 2022, 11:59:45 PM
BTC in 2022 for 100k is not an impossibility but obviously there is an entire journey ahead such that I would not predict it for so little a time frame as just 12 months.    Consolidation is not weakness, its necessary revision before prices can develop further usually upward as BTC long term has shown.
That prediction of the price by this year seems most likely impossible but who knows it will happen.
Good to see that those countries are very positive when it comes to predicting the market price of Bitcoin and it seems they are looking desperate about the price that should be increased.  That's their opinion and I think we respect them by that.

IMO, Bitcoin price will continuously increase as we see there are too many people adopting it and now there are few countries that already did a legal tender which has made a good impact on the Bitcoin price, sooner or later I won't surprised about their prediction that to become true.
1524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signal Notifications on: January 03, 2022, 11:44:06 PM
Paid trading signal notifications are always considered the best than the free, yeah, there are too many of them, and even apps on the play store you can use as a trading signal notification.  Even the coins tracker itself has a trading signal notification, a custodial wallet has also this feature and maybe you can choose one of them depending on if which is the best for you.

Here's a list of 10 Best Crypto Signals 2021 (Free & Paid), don't forget to have DYOR always which signal providers are really the best one, we know most of them claimed that they are the best one which in fact it is not.
1525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help bounty-program on: January 03, 2022, 03:35:11 PM
How about hiring a reputable bounty manager and just letting them handle your bounty program.  Because they know how to avoid fraud from the bounty hunters.  Speaking of using bot which bounty program do you mean?  AFAIK, that's very common in the Telegram communities that they use a bunch of telegram bots to increase their number of users which is easy to be faked.

If you're the one who handles your bounty program, I may advise you to seek expert bounty managers and ask for tips on how they avoid such kind of fraud.

Good luck with your project.
1526  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: bitcoin wallets on: January 03, 2022, 02:53:25 PM
I remember my e-mails that I have for a long time and in those years, but I should go to attempts with passwords, but first of all, I should go back to which site I have was able to buy bitcoin in 2010.

Based on this information, could there be any clues to my bitcoin wallet?

thank you
Robert
Just because of this email address that you have said, I was thinking and have doubt that it wasn't a hardware wallet or noncustodial wallet, probably it was an e-wallet like MyBitcoin.com and it was shut down in 2011.  There are too many exchanges and crypto wallet that has been shut down since 2010 maybe I think that wallet isn't longer accessible by now.

If you remember your email address correctly and have access to it, just type on the research bar something like "Bitcoin wallet" or "Bitcoin" it could be the confirmation message was till there are you have a clue what Bitcoin wallet it is, it might there since your email address and Bitcoin wallet has been associated before.
1527  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am looking for a job on: January 03, 2022, 02:24:04 PM
Hi, I am a writer and I am looking for a job Smiley
Do you, dear ones, know of a site and a community where I can find article writing projects?

Note: I'm familiar with sites like Upwork! But you can not find a suitable project in it and most projects are written by famous people.

Note: If you need a writer, find my service here Wink:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379007.0

If you are patient and can wait a few weeks or months you can try writing articles for projects in the altcoin bounty section while looking for projects that can pay you on a daily and weekly basis but since you posted your service here why not post your rate like how much per 500 or 1000 words, Fiverr is another good source of jobs for writers why not try this two options.
I think that's not what OP was looking for, OP wants an upfront payment not a weekly or monthly like bounty hunters, they pay their fancy token and you should wait further a few months before you will have earned through your work and if you aren't lucky enough, it might you will get scam.

Regarding the rate it was stated on the OP service thread linked above, I think you didn't check it.
Quote
Service Fee:

300-500 word  $5
800-1000 word  $8
Over 1000 word, $0.08 per word

To @OP!
There are too many hungry freelancers on Upwork who write niche blogs and I think the competition there was so hot and I think you can't easily get a good project there.  I think you need patience and hard work to build a good portfolio of your work that has good content to attract investors and have good traffic, maybe you have to learn what @NotATether said above.
1528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we have trading chatroom exclusive for bitcointalk traders? on: January 02, 2022, 03:52:02 PM
There's no official one maybe, even WO members have a discord community but I think they aren't active now.
It might be because forum members aren't all are traders, not all are speculators, and even not all gamblers.  AFAIK, I didn't know such a chatroom group that exclusively for Bitcointalk members, and as mentioned above that I have known the largest group of traders on the Binance telegram group which I think some of them there has an account here.

You can join any Telegram or Discord group without any Bitcointalk users for the purpose of trading or yet, you can join the discussion here in the forum nor joining is a chatroom that you're looking for.

Or maybe I didn't know if there is, let's wait for other's opinions.
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading strategy would be a good start for new traders? on: January 02, 2022, 03:17:24 PM
Here's the answer:
1. Depends on you.
2. Depends on you.
3. Depends on you.
I certainly agree with this. The strategy that you would apply will still depend on you as well as your skills.
I tend to agree with that too, it's all matters about OP's skills, knowledge, and on which side OPs are capable of when it comes to trading.
And that's the right answer, it depends on OP that we should know, if it's totally new in trading it's most likely will take time for OP to absorb those strategies that may learn through experience.  Experience is the best teacher as most experts say and I believed in that.

It's really hard to learn those strategies in trading while you're a newbie, it needs time for you to study and have an actual practice most especially when it comes to technical and fundamental analysis.  Find a good exchange that has a feature of demo trading, I think that's the best strategy to boost your ability in trading.

Alternatively, we have books, tutorial videos, and blogs that explained very well in trading.  But all of these didn't have an assurance that it will work 100%, it could be your preference in having DYOR.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 01, 2022, 11:58:38 PM
Don't get me wrong, I'm positive for the upcoming future, however, I'm trying to contain myself from being too excited and make unrealistic predictions, which I generally do not follow, either if they are positive or negative.

This is a positive way of thinking, because if you are not convinced that something has to happen, then you will certainly not be disappointed if it does not happen. As for the price, I am completely satisfied at the moment, despite the fact that it is only 50% of what many hoped for. But just remember that on the last day of 2020, the price of 1 BTC was slightly less than $30k, and yesterday some $17-18k higher, which suggests that we can expect new excitement this year.
I tend to agree with all of you guys here, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we should have trust and have a positive mindset about Bitcoin.
Collapsing means totally downfall of Bitcoin or it has a zero value which I don't think will happen, just look around and listen to the news every day.  Bitcoin has been getting more and more investors and it has been accepted by different agencies/companies worldwide.  It's also been in a medium exchange and I think it that way it has started to become mature.

It 100% is collapsing. It'll still take a few years for it to completely go away, but that's where it's confirmed to be headed.
You're wrong, I will bet all my assets on this.  Bitcoin has been stronger and has been trending everywhere.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I recovered my wallet from 2014 and saw how close I was to being a millionaire on: January 01, 2022, 11:45:56 PM
Sometimes it's good to look back at our Bitcoin wallet transactions history and while checking the previous transactions it feels us regret why we didn't able to hold until now when Bitcoin reached an ATH of $60k while you have spent it at the lower price something like $5k price.

That's a nice summary @mynonce and how about our Bitcoin donator before when someone donated 50 Bitcoin and 10 Bitcoin and it seems in 10 Bitcoin donator only @OgNasty seems pretty active right now, how does it feel?

This may be served as a lesson to learn, that's why we should keep some Bitcoin and forget something until how many years, maybe 5-10 years would a be the right decision.
1532  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinone stopping withdrawals to unverified external wallets. on: January 01, 2022, 11:33:53 PM
Stupid move by the exchange in my opinion and If i were one of the users from Korea, I would immediately abandon using the exchange. What we are looking at is an attempt to stop user from having full control of their funds.
I just hope people from there boycott coinone and look for better alternatives or else if coinone succeed with their scheme, the rest of the exchanges from Korea will follow the same narrative.
Exactly and this may result in decreasing their users because of that idea or leaving that exchange much better.

But it made me curious if how they will determine a verified wallet?  This question has come out in my mind quickly but upon reading I saw this which is it made me annoyed about this term.
Quote
"Coinone customers need to submit information such as their full name, email addresses, and registered mobile phone number in order to verify their wallets. This information must be the same as the information recorded in Coinone. That means customers cannot register someone else's wallets."

They aren't the only one exchange in Korea, some people that protect their privacy has still other options.

1533  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mozilla says they'll accept Bitcoin & crypto donations on: January 01, 2022, 11:11:02 PM
I tend to agree with about reply above, it's a good move for them.
I remember before that Mozilla has announced accepting Bitcoin in a donation and that was in November last year and now they have 4 cryptocurrencies that can be used in sending donations.

I don't see any especially on that news because Bitcoin adoption has already been announced, so now they are accepting doge that has a low market cap and low transaction.

Anyway, that's good news.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TX Cost , fees and gas on: January 01, 2022, 10:41:54 PM
Gas fees on ERC20 are still quite high and I think much better Bitcoin you can choose to pay even 1 sat not like ERC20 if you will transfer your asset or token into exchange it requires a higher amount of balance.  For example, even the gas tracker says $6 but if you don't exceed that amount you can't able to move your coin, it should be more than the balance as required.  In Bitcoin, you can use a lightning network to reduce the fee.

We have a tool to use if we have a plan to spend our crypto.
So, check these first before doing such actions.

1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Investing Coin on: December 31, 2021, 09:51:28 AM
Hello Everybody I bought some Coin before market Crushing, and I belive that all will recover soon, becouse all Coin is good. What is Your opinion about my Coin PBR, ATLAS, DOGE, PKR, TLM etc.
I have a question, have you done technical analysis on this?

It seems you didn't have your own research about these coins.  If you've bag coins it should have the potential to grow and I didn't even know what coins are these.  You even forget to include Bitcoin in your list which is clearly have potential when it comes to investment, though it's not a short term investment at least it's less risk and that it's 0% to become shitcoin not as you've mentioned above which is I don't know either.

But if you insist on your decision about this at least just spend the amount that you can afford to lose.
1538  Other / Meta / Re: Have you had the feeling of a certain arbitrariness by moderators? on: December 31, 2021, 09:29:05 AM
IMO, sometimes we think that moderators have arbitrary decisions on our off-topic reports that we reported and didn't get deleted, probably because it's hard for them to judge about the off-topic reports.  I still believed that this is a forum and that "freedom of speech" which was still existed and IMO, moderators are carefully making such decisions not to become unbiased.  I tend to agree above that moderators are people as well, there might a wrong decision that they thought that's right, that's why the forum doesn't moderate scams to avoid the possibility of unbias decisions from moderators.

Whatever their decision it is I think we should respect it, they have given that task that our admins know that they are capable of with that position and I have nothing to question regarding their jobs.

Just my two sats!
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: The good moves of Bitcoin. on: December 28, 2021, 11:58:47 PM
The good move could be,
  • When you heard institutional investors invested Bitcoin
  • When country announced Bitcoin becomes legal tender
  • No FUD news
  • World wide use

That's might be the reason that Bitcoin becomes have a good move, everything depended on the demand and supply so that Bitcoin has these better moves, and when the demand increase, it will surely increase the price.  Though the price is unpredictable we can sense when there's a bull run when there's good news arrived.
1540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No free money or crytocurrency on: December 28, 2021, 11:48:06 PM
-snip-
If this is considered as free money from money, there are some. But if this is about free from everything, none.

-snipped

And basically I  will always agree with the statement " No free money or cryptocurrency ",
That's an investment if we talked about you earned money from money.

But I tend to agree, there's no free money on the internet, it required always an exchange like time, effort or services that you have offered.  Even though faucet that everyone thinking it's free and the fact it's actually no because it requires for you to consume your time collecting faucet.
Joining bounty and airdrop which everyone said it's free upon joining and the fact it isn't, requires you to fulfill the task so that you are illegible to claim the airdrop.

Overall, that's a good point, there's no free money on the internet.
