1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 27, 2022, 10:42:15 PM

It really seems that the era of real-tough and hard boxing is almost over and these exhibition fights are taking over the scene. Don't take it wrong, I know that there are still few real boxers left who are prioritizing their legacy over than the money but the majority seems to be only chasing money rather than giving entertainment to the fans who are lifting them and there's this boxing politics too.

As for Pacquiao and his new found way in the industry, it's safe to say that he will be packed for the next few years to come as there will be a lot more fighters or boxers who will call him out to materialize an exhibition bout. DK Yoo and Pacquiao's bout with his former sparring partner is only the beginning. Surely there's more to come with these kind of fights.
I agree that it is really becoming the trend now which it do really sucks on seeing that they are really that prioritizing these exhibition fights rather into those official fights just like
on what other people that preferred into. Its true that they are aiming on having to make money and not really that legacy on which a true boxer should really be attaining into.
If we do compare out those numbers of huge real boxing official events and into those exhibition fights then we could say that it does have some considerable
amount of fights that had been set on this year alone.
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Coin losing its Value, What will happen to Public Funds on: December 27, 2022, 09:57:42 PM
It’s a fud after collapsed FTX exchange, and i think a group of people’s targeted Binance, and i think a lot of BNB holders selling their coins because they're very concerned about their funds. But you know it’s now bearing market, mostly coins are decreasing, it’s not like that only BNB is losing the value.
I still look at Bitcoin as a market reference more often than I look at altcoins including BNB. Because altcoins always seem more difficult to increase when Bitcoin is still experiencing price corrections and sideways. But try to see when Bitcoin is experiencing an increase, surely in the same period the altcoins will also start to increase in price, although in different percentages. And this shows that those who want to destroy cryptocurrencies need only greater panic among Bitcoin holders. Because when Bitcoin holders panic, others will also panic.
That is what we believe that when BTC falls down the rest follows but there might be exceptions with it, I mean there must be a reason on why some coins still continues to go down. See what happened with Luna and FTT? This is why we shouldn't only depend on BTC when predicting but let us also investigate deeper.

BTC is different with the altcoins and tokens because BTC is fully decentralized while the rest of them can only be called as semi and there are some who are totally centralized. Other cryptos can collapse but not bitcoin and it will be hard to scare the bitcoin hodlers because they are mostly compose of pioneers who are here when BTC is still an infant.
People arent still get used to when it comes to behavior of coins specially on a bearish market or on the time that Bitcoins value drops down? They are really that a fan of saying up things like
it is really over for *coin/token* this time without even trying to look out on whats the current market condition which is totally no sense. If we do speak about trends then it would be
understandable that most coins are really on bearish mode or into those bottom price and its not really just right to make out some presumptions that BNB is losing its value
just because of those rumors and events circling around.Just make yourself get used into these situations.
1523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader’s goal: A strategy with positive expectancy on: December 27, 2022, 09:31:44 PM

As such depending on the reason of their failure the actions needed to correct those outcomes will be different, however taking into account what I see in the forum with those which are newbies, I really think the majority of them do in fact lose their money due to a lack of understanding about the markets, as they believe they can make a lot of money without the need to invest their time and effort to understand what trading is really about.

I agree to this because greed is a major problem not only for newbie trader but for the trader who thinks he is experienced. If a trader of any standard get greedy, he will be tempted to chase profit and leave out the important trading strategy which will guide them. This is a serious thing for traders, greed makes a trader to increase leverage and sometimes trade in martingale style.
We need to understand that greediness is one of the major factors that makes traders and investors of cryptocurrency to venture into lost, but since advertisement or people campaigning of greediness in cryptocurrency investment many people have subdue or redress from being greedy in cryptocurrency trading or any other of digital trading, so people i will assume that don't know how to overcome come greediness now in trading is the the newbies who are curious to gain everything.
Just let people do be able to realize for themselves because providing them with some real life experiences or trying out to give some advises then most of the time it would really be just
ignored and they would rather follow into those things that they do have in mind until they would be facing up some losses and disaster. This is where self learning would be starting
and making out those kind of murmuring that they should have listened nor read up and get serious with those things where other people had been able to experience.
Greed is a common point on which it isnt really that shocking anymore on most people do able to pass this kind of emotion and completely affects our trading or any decisions ahead.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling? on: December 27, 2022, 08:47:28 PM
The points you mentioned are not about how to win at gambling. But to keep gamblers' finances from getting out of control which makes their condition more difficult. If you say "how to win", then you should give your tutorials/tricks to win, while the chances of winning slots with that strategy are difficult, I believe that the winning results from slots will be obtained if you are lucky.
You could really expect those post results made out by ChatGPT or simply by AI which is indirectly telling out on what you had said or mentioned which it isnt the way on how to win but rather into those common
scenarios or events which a gambler do usually experiences out which means that winning in gambling isnt literally answered on this one.
Gambling is for fun and if you are really that pushing yourself on believing that you could really take out advantage, even on strategic based games then it wont really be
giving out that kind of guarantee which is something that we do make ourselves realized at least.
1525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: December 26, 2022, 11:49:14 PM
I'd say the exchanges that currently remained to be unhacked are pretty "safe"; probably Binance and Coinbase. But that doesn't mean I'll recommend leaving funds on these platforms. The developers can make the platform as secure as possible, but never secure enough to the point that it's impossible to hack. Exploits will always be a risk. Not because these "unhacked" exchanges remained unhacked for years doesn't automatically mean it'll stay the same forever.

https://NotYourKeys.org

How do you explain these things to the people whom have entrusted their funds and assets to you for safe keeping hoping that what they gave to you is under safe care only to wake up to a sad news of their assets being stolen by hackers. How do you explain all these.
That's why you don't let other people entrust their funds to you. You have not much to gain but everything to lose.
There is no way centralized exchanges can be safe. Although some reputable ones are safer than we think, but we don’t know how the future holds for them. The reason why people should never entrust their coins in centralized exchanges in the first place, but it should be decentralized ones. But it’s always certain, the only way people will learn is to experience first the mistakes and losses before they start to realize that it’s not always safe having centralized exchanges around.
It would be never be safe, once you do deposit your funds into any centralized platform or simply you dont possess the wallet keys then make yourself that prepared and convinced that its not your money anymore.
Its one of the common or known risk that chances of hack and running away funds is mostly could happen even though not that rampant but dont make yourself that get confident on this situation.
This is why on the time that you had make use of these exchanges or simply had done trading then it would be always recommendable on pulling out your funds and
transfer them into those non-custodial wallets for much safer storage of your coins or assets.
1526  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: December 26, 2022, 10:50:18 PM
Before you can conclude on any casino to be the safest always remember that there's risk in general gambling, you must have understood this before embarking on gambling so that whenever you loose betting you wouldn't feel cheated, and as far as am concerned i don't think there's any casino safer than the other except for the ones that have failed to build a strong security wall roundabout themselves, also any casino that does not partake in scam over years is safe, the rest then depends on how you can research.

also, if you want to be on the safer side, and you are already in this forum, just play on casinos or bookies that are known to be reputable here. and look for their threads - if they have existing complaints or their rep is answering the issues on a prompt manner. a good sign for me is their rep is answering the questions or issues adequately. they are closing the issues no matter how small it is.
Plus, you could read up real time suggestions and recommendations from users out of this forum which it would really be that great and something you could really read up and find for yourself whether its a good
site or bad one.You arent that dumb not to make out some decisions basing on what you do see and its true that its better to stick out with those reputable sites and considered safe into those
top ranking or mostly preferred by the community. It might not be that safe completely but at least you could really make yourself able to believe and guarantee
that you are dealing on the right place.
1527  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: December 26, 2022, 09:52:37 PM
2024 would be a total guess, I would rather presume we are suppressed in price until 2024 maybe even a year past that.   Then after we find some accumulative effect or combustion in BTC that leads to gains but  its better not to expect ro rely on such rises.   At present theres no excuse to think so, I think 2023 is challenged.
Better not to make yourself that expecting much nor being optimistic nor being that hopeful for those price rise into those years because there's no such thing about guarantee increase or price pumps into those years.
Im rather that too hopeful when it comes on that year 2026 which there are ones who do say about long time crypto winter would be over into those years.Although everything do really remain to be speculative
but its not really not that bad to make out those kind of hopes and wishes and might really be that ideal or good to make out some action on these particular moments or times
where everything do looks that they are still on sale.
1528  Other / Off-topic / Re: Team USA will play in the Philippines for the FIBA WORLD CUP 2023 on: December 26, 2022, 08:48:21 PM
this is the first time that Gilas will be able to compete against team USA
Technically speaking, there is no draw yet, it will be held next year, it just that the team USA was just assigned to play in the Philippines either in MoA or Araneta Col. So team USA vs Philippines is not sure yet but it is not impossible to happen if and only if PH team will dominate the game and got a chance to world's bests including USA.

About the ticket fees, well, expects it will be higher since this is a world cup than those typical PBA match, but not so expensive. Or the association will probably face a slap from the public.
I also expect higher prices for each ticket but not that expensive based on the prices shown by OP, Filipinos themselves will hardly afford it but only big businessmen will do. However, if this event will turn into reality, I guess it will also be a great privilege for Filipino players to have a match with the US team. Even if they lose in the end, it’s like they also win since they are lucky enough to fight with their idols in the NBA.
Im not really that surprised with those ticket prices specially if this event comes to be the first in history then pretty sure that there would be people who would took a loan just to see out their idols playing out.

Also its not necessary that would really be purchasing that lower box premium entry but rather you do with that Category 5, if you could shell out more money to be in the closer sight
then it is really your choice. This doesnt only talk about the game but rather seeing their idols on close range or in real which i do see for the price to be worth it imho.
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 23, 2022, 11:23:39 PM
Holding is very easy if you know what you're holding, what are their capabilities in the long run, and especially their worth. However, there might be some scenarios that could happen while waiting, like for example an emergency, where you need a large amount of money therefore you'll be force to sell your bitcoin and convert it in your local currency to assess the situation, or might be anything that is urgent.

That's why I always invest my fiat on cryptocurrency 60:40, I never forget to hold some extra fiat for my needs and just in case there would be an emergency. I don't wanna ruin the profit that I could make in the long run, so I always plan ahead.
You make every effort not to reduce your investment assets as much as possible before the plan you make is achieved. that's good, and saving fiat is also important for savings that we can use in an emergency situation. and it will not change the investment planning that we do.
when investing in Bitcoin, then our thinking must be for the long term. and it will not let us down. but some people do not keep fiat or run out of fiat for their needs. of course there is no other option to sell under any circumstances. nothing to be sorry about.

Well, it is always difficult when an investment is made in crypto and review its value in Fiat, when we see and have Bitcoin and we see that the price can continue to fall, many things can happen, first of all a person who has in mind that the price will rise Don't worry, but not everyone thinks like that, patience here is something that can be given as a great gift, but if you have the certainty that bitcoin will rise in price, if you have that conviction, it is very likely that you are a very investor. Successful, while there is so much to wait, knowing how to take advantage of the fact that the price falls more will be the best thing to buy, and if that is understood, I think that it can give a great surprise.

There are lots of what if's in someones mind on situation like this.

What if it would reach out even higher?
What if this would be the peak?
What if the price would crash afterwards?

If you are a long term holder then you would really be mainly thinking or boggling up your mind that it wont really be that
bad to make some sell off and this is where case to case basis that do happens.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 23, 2022, 10:34:40 PM
Look at TOS or rules and agreement as you sign up to any casino. Check out that part if they've got something to tell about usage of VPN or any type of service because they'll surely detect you using one. But if it's based on my experience, I've done that to several casinos and they never hit me with a warning so I think that's fair enough and that's not a big issue to them unless there's some uncaught activities you do in your account that results to them losing money.
This is where people should really be focused on, on which they should really be checking out those terms and conditions before using up a VPN and just said that there are lots of withdrawals or locked up
funds due to this issue, if the house do finds out that you had bypassed or violate their terms then it would really be just normal that they would really be taking such step for you to be penalized.
Therefore. if you dont like to have some headaches then it would be ideal or better on checking out everything, if you cant see it on their tos then you could always ask their live
chat or support to clear up everything or doubts you do have.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 23, 2022, 09:42:12 PM
Things that usually happen when there are sales in large quantities will usually cause turmoil, like we know that TSLA looks slow or can be said to be a failure because the public doesn't care about TSLA, and as we know that elon is more interested in investing in other coins like Doge and bitcoin. Let's see what will happen in 2023, can TSLA still survive or will they create a new project.

We don't have facts that Elon is interested on investing in Doge, so much with Bitcoin. His company already sold billions as well with their Bitcoin holdings month ago if I'm not mistaken.

Him selling his stocks doesn't mean he will re-buy any crypto for that matter, he could be using his funds to fund more project either in his other joint ventures. And also this billionaires will have to sell off from time to time to show that his company is liquid.
People are basing up on the history or past experiences and events on where Elon is involved, we've seen on how Musk did really make out some hype on Doge wayback which it cant really
be blamed on how people would really be that reconsidering on how things should really be interconnected specially that he had made out some dealings and hypes back in the past.
Its true that there's no way to confirm this and he's the only one do knows on whats up into his mind on why he had done such thing, whether he would be going into crypto investments
back or just pulling those stocks or shares for some other reason.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Only one way to save people now on: December 22, 2022, 11:52:50 PM
Fiat will always be there and crypto was not created to replace it because crypto or bitcoin are alternatives to fiat depending on who wants it.
and whether people prefer to hold the fiat that is minted daily by central banks, or whether they prefer a currency in limited supply. And I think the two will complement each other and they're more comfortable using fiat or crypto, because it's not easy to just get rid of fiat and it also takes a very long time for it to be evenly distributed, especially and at least everyone can use a smartphone to use it because not everyone use and understand how to use it.
indeed in reality fiat will not be able to get rid of by crypto. look, we are still using fiat as a transaction tool and it can never be replaced by anything.
and we all know that crypto is an alternative transaction that is much easier and as an investment asset.
so not everyone wants fiat money to be replaced by crypto and that is very unlikely to happen.
Why there are people who are really that optimistic on replacing fiat by crypto? yes, it is something revolutionary but wont really be that enough on taking fiats place.
We do know that not all are really that knowledgeable when it comes to crypto transactions + having that anonymity aspect or something decentralized which means that it couldnt really fit out
on what government do prefer. They wouldnt really allow things to be turned over into something which cant really be controlled which it would be understandable
that this thing is really that hard to believe for it to happen.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 22, 2022, 10:55:06 PM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?
AI is being discussed in various forums and the development of AI is really amazing,, I will probably try using AI to predict the final result of a sports match, maybe it will help me, it will definitely be a fun betting experience.
Try it and you would be finding for yourself whether it would be worth or not, but if you do try out to read up all the opinions and words from forum members which its never that something been recommendable.
There are things which AI couldnt able to make out some judgment specially if it do really involves some emotional aspect.Come to think that AI is made by humans which it is really just that needing
to be enhanced or upgrade even more on making its library to be more vast and much bigger which it could be able to answer up everything on what you do throw on it.
Predicting outcomes on those gambling games and trying out to rely on AI is never been that ideal.
1534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you really think about trading bots? on: December 22, 2022, 09:52:38 PM

It still depends on how the market would go and how the strategy you would have set would respond.

I think this is where the missing link is between human and trading bots. Those times that the bots doesn't have the order from you on what to do when that depending on what the market does is not given, the bots doesn't have what to do. At this point the bots is usually left at the mercy of the market.
When using up a bot then it is really that understandable that you are really still needing to make out some tweaks or changing up some command for whatever market condition that you might faced on.
Bots cant really be having that automatic learning or something that could act on their own without having those proper settings that had been commanded out. This is one of the misconception
specially to those noobs that they are believing that this is something that could help them out on becoming profitable here on the market which is really
very wrong. You do still need to get engage on while you are using up these tools.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: December 22, 2022, 08:45:43 PM
Monitoring a particular account statement is part of keeping the country or a particular locality safe, due to the alarming news of online crises everywhere. I don't think this should call for the restriction of individuals from such a locality. When a locality performs KYC verification on its citizen, I believe every information needed about a particular transaction is gotten; as such, the citizen has no problem and this has nothing to do with the Casino. It is apparently inappropriate for a Casino to restrict its customer due to community terms.
I wnst you to know that not all KYC verification i a given platform is accurate, because, i believe that KYC verification of a platform can be man over by using another fake documentation, yes it's true that when done KYC verification with a platform it will likely show that information processed through upload of your details will indicates or identify the nation you came from,  why some people do use another nation information to verify their account without facial contact verification.
Its one of the bypass of these verification if ever they would be asking out, but we arent that dumb on not to know about its con's considering that on the time you would really be again verify
then this is where you do see yourself getting fucked up.Its just common sense that we dont really like for our identity on getting exposed on which it is really that understandable
that other people would really be using up others identity just to bypass into something and its impossible that they wouldnt really be able to know the possible risk
or problem that lies ahead.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 21, 2022, 11:48:13 PM
I've come across so many other threads where people preach against the sell of Bitcoin  regardless of whether in profit or not.
Most people really don't get the concept of investment, especially with relationship to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. The moment you're holding a coin and you've made enough profit to have possibly satisfied your greed and pleased your heart, I strongly advice that you should atleast get it's capital off the market to avoid emotional attachment while holding.
This is a festive season and though holding is a gift, I think if the only means we have to celebrate this season is to sell some part of our holdings then I see nothing wrong with that but in all you do, always remember to have some more savings to fall back to.

I’m not against using bitcoin as a payment method, I completely support the use of bitcoin to pay for goods and services. It’s the purpose of bitcoin as a currency afterall. I just do not think selling bitcoins in bear market to spend on Christmas is a smart decision. Tbh I think Christmas is a business not a religious holiday as originally intended, it’s the largest economic stimulus in the world. They do it every year so they can sell their merchandise. Christmas generates trillions of dollars every year and I would prefer not to add my bitcoins to the statistics.

Yes, People will spend money on Christmas but more smarter people will use the fiat money and not sell their bitcoins at the current prices.
I think it is not wise to spend and sell bitcoin now when the price is near its very low. You can save your bitcoin now and get good returns later in the bull season.
If your salary was short out from your day job and wanted to make out some preparations for Christmas and New year then it wont really be that a bad idea on spending a small portion of those holdings of yours.
As long you arent spending all of it then you should be fine.It isnt really bad to spend up a portion yet this holiday season do happens only once a year which spending some amounts of those investments that
you had hold for so long wont really that a waste.Yes, you could really make out some conversion from crypto to fiat. This is what im doing, but im sure that im not spending
that much because it is really better that you are holding into something which does have potential.
1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 21, 2022, 10:48:44 PM
I feel like there needs to be changes to marketing because if you think that you reached enough people with one method, then you need to switch it up to reach to other people as well. For example, if you worked towards making sure that all of the people on bitcointalk knows about it, you would do marketing and after a while you know everyone heard about you here, then you could do social media, twitter/instagram/facebook/tiktok etc etc, and you reach as much as you can reach with the funds you have, and after that some other method.

It's important to realize you reach your limit and then stop and pick another method and keep repeating that way constantly.
This is what Roobet did, they started to limit their promotions here and started to be more active on other social media platform which I think is really fine if they really want to get more players. If you already have your name it is ok now to reduced your promotions here, and since Roobet love this forum they still continue their art contest and their signature campaign, that can still be a good promotions for them.
When running a business then it would really be just right on making out those kind of expansions or trying out to widespread exposure via mediums which does have lots of traffic and trying out to hook up potential
players or users specially on social media where its either they would hook up lots or not but just as i said that it is really just a typical thing for a business to be done or via its owner.
They had indeed established themselves out of this forum which it is understandable that they wont really be that focusing much when it comes to promotion but its true
that having some art contest and signature campaign would already suffice.
1538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 21, 2022, 09:48:49 PM
When it comes to futures, we want our money to grow with the lowest possible risk and the biggest potential returns and rates of return. Although there are wise ways to approach it, there are no quick fixes to become wealthy.

If you do pertain about holding a specific coin for longer years or duration then it wont really be having that lesser risk on some point, there's no way we could able to determine whether it would really be that something
worth on doing so.This is do entirely depending on which coin or project you are been holding on. If you are really going or after for the money then it would really be needing for you to accept all the potential risk
way ahead or something that you would encounter along the way.Never make yourself that greedy and never make yourself that too impulsive when it comes to decisions and other things.
Deal up the risk and face it out and make out some back up plans if one plan do mess out.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: December 21, 2022, 08:55:28 PM
There are people who are still playing games at the casino. They might win or lose. But in the meantime, the casino is making money. As long as people are connected to the system, then they will not go out of business.
This is just how business works. They lose on one side and gain profit from the other side.
Come to mind off that they do even survive into that 2 year pandemic situation which they might have closed their doors into those physical casinos but eventually came back when everything is gradually turning into
normal which does simply imply that there's really a solid demand when it comes to gambling and same goes for online casinos as well on which they are the ones who had made out so much revenue into those pandemic
years which people do make out some switch up from physical to online due to some health protocols which do really give out that kind of advantage over into those physical ones.
As long there's a demand or simply those gamblers who do want to play then this industry cant really die.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 20, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
That's what he said from one of his interviews. But we can't also remove that there's the personal interest that he's got and that's why he entered politics.
Yes, he can still help people without being involved in politics but as we all know, there's the fund that he can use in helping people from being an official and its office that can be distributed to the people that he wants to help.

He has a vision to always help poor people but it doesn't mean that he's fit already to run on that position since there are to many things to consider and running a country doesn't end on providing your citizens a financial help since there are other more technical things which Pacquaio doesn't have.

Maybe this exhibition fight is gateway of Pacquaio to get more big fights and maybe back to real boxing which he can earn huge money again. Maybe he need funds again for future use which is bad thing to look after since he's not young anymore and might he's legacy will be buried by his possible losses if he keep chasing fight with professional boxers in his division if he really have plan to fight back in this category.
Yes, we all know about that.
It's a tough position and we don't think that he's really for it. Maybe not this time or he really doesn't fit it in any of his lifetimes and would just have to be satisfied with his current political position. But as said, let's just skip the politics talk about him but we have seen how his heart with to the poor because he's been there and understands the struggle of someone who doesn't even have a meal or two for a day.

helping poor people is not the only reason why you need to become a politician. there are more things you need to consider when you are in politics because you are guiding the future of your country. but in any case, pacquiao should be totally retiring from professional boxing bouts. great if he will arrange exhibition fights from time to time. but should not think of going active again. enjoy his retirement while he has no health issues.
Yes, it doesnt only pertain about helping the poor but it is one of the things which the countrymen would really be seeking upon on which there is really some putting up some emphasis when it comes to support.
We know that each person does have their own views and decisions on how things should really be handled on and if someone do really likes to have a politician who do certainly focus
for the benefit of those poor people or who are in need then these things would really be looking appealing.
