1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: August 14, 2022, 11:36:32 AM
It is very easy to borrow and so hard to pay off.
I have never met a single person in my life who has borrowed the money and paid off the way they borrowed the money.
If the loan is taken for some good reason like for starting any business then it is good and it can be paod off. But for gambling or anything like that is pretty much awful decisions in my opinion.

If the OP can verify the reliability of his insider information. Taking a loan will not gonna hurt much to boost his bets but not the point that loan an amount worth a forune and invest it on gambling. I agree to your opinion if we are talking about normal gambling here but the OP case is different because he is claiming that he has an insider information that will give him an advanced info on the outcome of the game which is really happening in sports on some countries.
Well for me this always represents a risk, because even if they say that the game or the results are fixed in advance, it also represents a great risk, I would not be so confident in that, although this type of practice does not surprise me because obviously in everything it has always been fulfilled, besides this reminds me of the series called "Peaky Blinders" which they do this type of practices that was also done at that time, this is something that happens not only in sports games, I think in many They fix things and their business model increases greatly, as well as the large raffles that are held, which are very common.

There’s always a risk in gambling regardless if it was fixed or not because you can’t assure about the reliability of your source if it’s legit or not. Trust is the only thing you will hold on this kind of illegal gambling activities. I’m familiar with the Peaky Blinder match fixing on horses. It’s actually on old horse racing but I doubt this is still existing right now since regulators nowadays is much stricter compared before. That series is so good to watch.
1522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Average crypto futures trader monthly salary is 9000$-30,000$ on: August 14, 2022, 10:02:35 AM
Bullshit, Futures trading in crypto is a gamble so no one can get a fixed salary per month unless he is doing inside trading because crypto market is very volatile and easy to manipulate. You need to become the luckiest person on earth to maintain fixed income per month of futures trading.

Stop promoting futures trading because it can destroy life of a newbie trader since exchange is offering an insane leverage that is very dangerous to newbie greedy traders.

OG vs Beastcoast was looking like it would end 2-0 in favor of OG but a pretty impressive comeback from Beastcoast to take it to game 3. After first picking Timbersaw, they should have banned Ursa.. I guess they messed that up. Game 3 coming up next.

ATF messed up big time by playing reckless on game 2. They gave space to Ursa and they got punish for being reckless especially ATF for giving himself multiple times on the crucial mid to late game. I think will gonna shove him a lecture of his life for being cocky. They already in control on early game but they play slow and commit multiple error in the process. Beastcoast is good right now.
1524  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 13, 2022, 04:14:39 PM
I’m sure 1xbit participants will not gonna bite the dust here because they have no obligation to answer on this survey and also most them is already back on dormant state because 1xbit signature campaign is over. These account is just bought for the sole purpose of participating on 1xbit. I’m sure they don’t care anything besides money and I doubt too that they are playing on the casino because they just destroy the account reputation just to earn back the account worth when they purchased it.

They just doing work done.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 13, 2022, 10:41:07 AM
And since they can't be simply be traded right away because the Nets wants more, and you can't blame them. Again, it boils down on the money they put in the line and they want something in return, like future draft picks, because that's what the lost as well when they sign the 2.

Money is not a problem since once Kevin Durant is traded, the contract offered by the Brooklyn Nets to him will be voided at some point.

The Nets is asking for a much good trading package because Durant is a big name and offering future draft picks can't satisfy them since, in the first place, they already gave up their future picks when they sign Durant and Irving.

As much as possible, they like a set of players that are as worthy as Durant's playing skills. But if they keep on insisting more, they will have a hard time trading him and they might end up a not worthy trade in return.

Seems like they still don't want to trade Durant as no team could match their demand, and what will happen is that Durant and Irving will stay, let's hope they will be the same and will not just play without passion. It's not a good situation for these two players who are actually no love anymore on the team.

It’s very hard to trade this super star duo because their demand is too huge while most of the team already build there own Ace player that has a potential to be a superstar in few years while Durant and Irving are already in the middle of there prime. I think the team than can acquire this players needs a package deal because the team need to fully commit on this trade and risk all there star player and picks just to make this possible.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Finally Helped My Friend Invest $50000 Into BITCOIN for Retirement. on: August 12, 2022, 04:30:58 PM
I respect people like OP that have a balls to convinced there friends to invest something big on Bitcoin and assuring them for the return. I myself is afraid to do it because it might backfire to our friendship once the result didn't go exactly what we want since this money is a retirement fund not just a free money for investment.

I'm looking on the part that you warn your friend for risk involved because we can't assure that the price will above the current 10 years from now. I hope you consider telling him the risk so that you can protect your personal relationship with him if something wrong happened.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your General Feeling After Playing In Casino In the last 10 session on: August 12, 2022, 03:08:30 PM
Why exactly 10 session? Is there a scientific study that makes difference between 10 session to other number?

I can’t remember exactly my last 10 session experience but my first 5 session makes me excited every time I play but the session after that just makes feel to chase to losses. The longer I play makes my desire to become greedy until I start to stop and rethink what I actually doing. My main purpose to gamble is just to have fun but the longe I’m exposed doing it makes me addicted on playing it by chasing losses.
1528  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: August 12, 2022, 05:47:26 AM

. the price was stable because the volume was low, which is normal, but I told you that big players are accumulating and in one moment they will drop their bags and the price will drop! That happened with all casino tokens in one moment, there's no running away from that... but will it recover, will it stay alive depends on will these sharks stay to play on OWL (as all other players) or they will find a new place because OWL is not paying winners? What do you think will happen with OWL tokens if there are no players on the site?

They should re-think and change their strategy, I don't like it when they said that the bounty campaign did not help their cause any kind of marketing will have an impact on any project, there are two accusations against Owl.game the last one can be resolve the representative should at least go down there and counter the accusation while the first one is a little complicated but the longer it drags on the investors' patience will run out.

The accusation is directly to Sandboxcasino and not to Owl.games. The victim is just dragging Owl along with Sandboxcasino since they share the same license due to the casino software partnership with this 2 company.the user wants to punish both since Owl clean there hands on handling this case which is the right thing to do since they are separate business.

I don’t remember they release an statement about the bounty campaign in general is not effective. They just told that there campaign became ineffective because many user cheated on it.

Watching Aster doing it again is nostalgic, Monet and Ori are killing the team again with their choke game performance on crucial matches on upper bracket. They seems don’t get proper sleep before they fight team Spirit. Monkey that didn’t build farm items while he is against TA is the craziest item choice I watch on this Majors so far. They are too confident on there picks while they didn’t anticipate the damage output of the draft of Team Spirit.

Team Spirit is confirmed to be on TI form again. I think they can beat LGD on finals either on UB or the grand finals.
1530  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀MOONBET.IO Community-Owned Crypto Casino 💸 $100 USDT Deposit Bonus on: August 11, 2022, 12:57:49 PM
Moonbet token is already registered on bitmart but unfortunately coinmarketcap has not updated the list of exchanges that trade this token, I think they should contact CMC to update it immediately because many people may not know that this token is also registered on CEX, that's why the price display in CMC follows pancakeswap.
When it was added in bitmart?

And not just in coinmarketcap but also they have to update it on coingecko. On coingecko, there's even no exchange for their token as it's just an ad, a sponsored ad if you tap on the markets.

If it's just recent, then this has something to do with the pump that has happened on it.

MBET token was listed on Bitmart since November 29 last year and trading with decent volume. Many user already point out to the team about the lack of information about the exchange this token was already listed but the team seems not in an urgent to fixed all the details on CGC and CMC which makes this token under the radar. Mbet is listed too on Bitforex which you might add to your list.

I saw the Bitmart listing announcement on Bitmart twitter account before.
1531  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hotbit exchange suspends deposits, withdrawals and trading on: August 11, 2022, 12:00:43 PM
So, a number of Hotbit senior managers have been subpoenaed by law enforcement since the end of July and are assisting in the investigation. Furthermore, law enforcement has frozen some funds of Hotbit, which has prevented Hotbit from running normally.

I expect Some Hotbit customer who notice part i bolded might be angry with the fact they suspend all withdraws. Additionally, legal investigation could take really long time which sucks for both Hotbit and Hotbit customer.

For sure, It will take months or even years since the accused will surely not gonna give up easily his case. What I don’t understand was why does the Hotbit need to halt withdrawal while only partial funds is needed to be freeze and customers balance is surely not part of it? I think they are using the customers balance as hostage and use as collateral damage once the investigation will be in favor with the law enforcement.

This is sucks! This can happened on any exchange even Binance. Not your keys not your coin indeed.
1532  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase loss $1.1B in Q2 on ‘fast and furious’ crypto downturn on: August 10, 2022, 01:41:00 PM
Which site did you got this information from? Try and include the link.

This points towards not you key not your coin, especially in the time of crypto bear market, it is better to have your coin on a noncustodial wallet which you have control over.

This issue is already been discussed before the moment coinbase made the announcement about there huge loss due to crypto market meltdown.
Are you talking about this link below?

Coinbase posts net loss of $430 million for Q1 2022

That was Q1 and the loss was $430 million. It would be good if hridoyb can include a link for us to know if the OP is true or not.

Yep, The point is the discussion revolves same issue here that Coinbase is reporting loss since Q1 due to market crash and how it was different to the current report which just update there loss with the same problem? I think we are just counting how much they are losing if that is what you are trying to know deeper about this new report.

You can use the link below as source for coinbase Q2 report.

This issue is already been discussed before the moment coinbase made the announcement about there huge loss due to crypto market meltdown. It’s obvious crypto exchange will be the most business affected by this because they have liquidity provided for there orderbook. There stock will surely been target by shorter because they are company involved on cryptocurrency which is now experiencing a strong bearish market.

Yesterday it all went perfect for me:

Hoping to continue in the same way today. I am also expecting all the series to go the distance and will be taking over maps. I might also take Entity to win since I did not watch that game from EG and what I have seen they were bad Smiley

Nice prediction @Trofo, Actually we have same result but the only difference was I usually choose +1.5 than match winner except for PSG.LGD which is obviously gonna sweep Boom because they sweep most of the power house team in there bracket and only Soniqs manage to get a game to them which probably just luck.

Your parlay is very accurate as if you have a crystal ball on your pocket. What is the total odds for that parlay if you don’t mind to be ask?

Just a caution to every player not to withdraw BTC using the native chain for now. Even though I chose the slow option which deducts BTC0.000075 withdrawal fee, I still expected it to be done within the next two hours because I've seen blocks confirmed with fee as low as 2 sats/vbyte and not 23 hours. I later found out that they send by batch and that's probably the main reason why it took that long.

I know it says 'within 24 hours' for slow withdrawal but I still think it's poor service given the fact that the network isn't that congested.

I experienced worst than that on when choosing the slow option on transaction speed. It can took more than 24hrs even if the network is not congested so I definitely don’t recommend that option even in the future because the confirmation for that fee is very slow than normal and you might be in stress if you really need that money while its still stuck on pending status.

BSC chain Bitcoin is less hassle compared to native chain if you are betting using Bitcoin because the normal fee on Bitcoin withdrawal is a bit high than normal fee on electrum wallet.

How do you consider Poker a skill based game and not a luck based game ?
Poker hands are completely luck based as you have no control over it. However, there is a little element of thinking and decision making, due to which some people consider it skill based.

Saying poker was completely "luck-based" seems not appropriate.

If everything here is just about luck, then there should be no such thing as "professional" poker players. Some poker players are called professional in the first place because they can able to think of various strategies to use in different situations regardless of how good or bad their card is. There are even bad cards that can turn the table and that's because of good skills.

Back to the topic, if these popular casino games like poker are now considered sports by some countries, then it means it's getting more appreciation. Aside from that, the fact that it was considered sports means it meets the criteria of becoming as a sport or becomes eligible to be considered by that.
Yup, you cannot categorize Poker as completely as a Luck-Based games rather it is a combination of skill and luck as the cards that you'll be receiving is the real deciding factor whether you win or not.

Professional poker players are there as they are able to turn things the other way either they a bad card or a good card. However, they still lose once they encounter someone who has an incredible card which is purely based on luck.

I can also say that poker is not based completely on luck.
As we have seen, these poker players have certain skills that they can win not just because of luck but with their skills.
But these skills are acquired throughout the years of playing this game.
This is why some of the top professional poker players are really doing good in this game and making this game as their source of living.

Yes, There are a lot of times that professional players like Phil Ivey won a pot with a bad hands because he was known for being so good on player that's why his opponents always assumed he always got a good hands but in reality, he is just good on prediction and mind reading which doesn't involved luck at all. He is losing sometimes and that might be the luck kicking but Phil Ivey can dominate any table anytime he wants because he has skills and not luck. He earned respect because of his skills and not by being lucky so definitely poker is not a luck based game at all because a professional poker player can beat a winning hand with a garbage hand by playing the opponents mind.
1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Spinomenal Series Tournament 🏆 100,000 USDT prize pool on: August 08, 2022, 02:47:09 PM
Seriously? Stablecoins aren't always stable in the crypto world. USDT fluctuates widely sometimes and we all know what happened to UST recently.
A few that are there are not very private. I don't see any other coins as great options here, but there are some small ones out there, but they can handle Bitcoin and if it turns out to be a bit more stable than that.  But here and there are other coins but they are not as popular as Bitcoin.  Here I think the most popular is Bitcoin.
I do agree that stablecoins do not feel stable at this current climate. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that they are bad or anything like that which is why I believe that we shouldn't be really considering this as a bad option at all, it is definitely a great one to begin with because stablecoins do allow people to gamble the way they want without hiding how many dollars that is.

But that doesn't mean that we should trust them, there could be a day when the stablecoin that you use will end up with a problem, and when that happens it is going to cause a lot of trouble to you and I do not know what to do when that happens. Which is a big deal and I have to say it is definitely an important one.

Not trusting them means your not using there stablecoins but once you use it, It means you give them a little faith because you have no choice than to trust them or stick to your principle to avoid em. I think the word you are looking for is not to completely trust them because that’s really what we need to do on this crypto world which nothing is certain since they can run or declared bankruptcy whenever they want without giving a shit to all token holders.

As long as makakapag-accumulate at makakapagready tayo sa muling pagtaas ng mga crypto mas maganda.

May sustainable source of funds kasi ako kaya di ako masyado pressured sa trading. Parang libangan ko nalang ito kayo ganito lang ako magtrade. Bale yung earning ko lang sa signature campaign ko yung crypto holdings ko rest na galing sa salary ko sa trabaho ay direct sa stable coins.

I am seeing people building .name on the blockchain this days like ENS and other is there any benefit of doing this at all or people just want their name or company name in the blockchain?
Simply some people wants to easily remember there address and show off there assets since not all people wants privacy on crypto this days because everyone is still obligated to pay there taxes and track all there transactions for filing tax report unlike before that you can really feel the anonymous vibe without regulators badgering on all of your crypto transactions.

This name service project really kill the purpose of decentralisation but new investors on crypto don't prioritized privacy anymore and just focus on gains.
