1541  Economy / Economics / Re: Central banks around the world want to get into digital currencies on: March 11, 2021, 08:23:03 AM
It's good that they are developing their own CBDCs this means that there will be less paper fiat circulating which can help alleviate inflation because there is really no money involved in the transaction, just a number on the screen and you can buy what you need. The only problem that I can see with this one is that when they enforce the usage of CBDC is that they will try to suppress other digital currencies like bitcoin, ethereum and such, and that not everyone is digitally literate when it comes to this and not everyone has their own mobile devices to serve as a wallet for their CBDC.
1542  Economy / Economics / Re: The President creates a "Ministery of Extraterrestrial Affairs" on: March 11, 2021, 07:44:26 AM
Chinese or no Chinese, Nicaragua government should focus more on their people specially how they can get vaccine. Not on something that people thinks their government are going nuts.

Promote space program? Only first world country has that kind of distinction so I doubt that Nicaragua even with the help of the Chinese can developed it. They still needed knowledge, the right man power, facilities etc. The Chinese government are just using them.
This is a strategic agreement if you look at it in political perspective, Nicaragua is a Central American country which means that if China can have their cooperation, they can get close to USA like what happened in USSR back in Cuba during the Cold War, I think that this is a military expansion of China and to keep USA in check at a safe and close position. You are right, the people of Nicaragua will not be seeing any benefits from this program but I think that they will not have any say with it.
1543  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 11, 2021, 07:09:11 AM
~

I don't know why people think about this way while in reality bitcoins cannot overcome any fiat currencies around the world since first bitcoin has no legal laws that allows it to use on government financial system as well bitcoin still questionable due to some shady activity in relation on how this one used. And even if we go digital most provably each country will create their legal digital currency and bitcoin will just an option.

I'm not thinking negative about this possibilities but in reality this currency winning war is almost impossible to win by bitcoin without law supporting it.
Law definitely plays a role as to why it won't win in this war but I think that is just one part of the problem. I think that in economic perspective, bitcoin isn't viable as a means of currency because right now the network that is supporting bitcoin is having a hard time catering the transaction passing through which results in network congestion which means that the receiver has to wait for days to receive the payment.
1544  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin millionaire lists reasons most will never be rich on: March 11, 2021, 06:33:39 AM
~
There is also the ethical question as well, most rich people came from rich parents, Bill Gates' family was rich, Elon's family was rich, Jeff's parents were rich, Warren's parents were rich and politician as well, basically almost all of them are/were rich, sure there are many rich people whose kids never became world's richest person, so I do not want to just attribute it to their parents, but that is where ethics came into play.

Any, and I mean ANY poor person can become rich if they just have a horrible ethical standards and flexible morals, all you do is illegal work and you become rich, sell drugs and become rich, steal and become rich, not like you would be denting the world.

This is not a way I support how you should become rich, but do you think "real" rich people do not steal? Or do not sell drugs? Look at Big Pharma they decide what is legal and what is illegal, they give people things that make you high as legal drugs but if you smoke pot that's illegal. Life is all about who you can bribe, not what you do. All rich people, ALL rich people have bad morals and bad ethics, without a single exception.
Your first paragraph is on point, yes there are people that are handed the cheat codes to life and taking their advice is the most stupid thing because you were never as lucky as them. But the next paragraphs seems to be straying from the point, yes ethics are involved in getting rich but there are people that are rich but they didn't breach any ethical violation. Poor people have poor ethical standard because they are desperate and the society tells them that their principles will not feed them. Not everyone who does illegal work gets rich and I don't like the idea of advocating it as a means to get ahead of the other people doing crime means that you have already dug a grave for yourself.
1545  Economy / Reputation / Re: Chipmixer campaign by the constant pressure of the hypocrite? on: March 11, 2021, 05:47:26 AM
I was quite surprised how people started complaining in the CM thread that they were paying too much, leading to the subsequent drop in rates. As it usually happens, it is full of envious people, who when they see that someone earns a lot, instead of trying to improve themselves more, what they want is for the other to earn less. I'm sure when CM finally lowered the rates some of those who complained had an orgasm.
I feel bad that they were pressured to drop their rates, I mean the participants of their campaign are pretty good and almost everyone if not is posting quality posts which is commendable. I thought at first that the drop in the rates were because the price of bitcoin jumped so high to the point that they have to adjust but then I say that what they are paying in bitcoin is a fixed equivalent, although I am not a fan of the service itself as it is a laundering paradise, I think it is unfair that they are going to have the participants take the blow too.
1546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Doge2moon.click - Ponzi scheme on: March 10, 2021, 09:04:25 AM
Man, this Ponzi scheme websites are getting more ridiculous day by day and I can't stop laughing about it, and not just because they are silly but because of the possibility of people falling for this trap which should be unlikely as time goes on but I always imagine another newbie that will report to this board that they got scammed and they don't know that it was a scam. Anyway, good catch OP.
1547  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 10, 2021, 08:09:57 AM
There’s a strong debate with this topic and since the USD value has been decreasing over the past months, many believes that Bitcoin will take over and take its place. Fiat money has an unlimited supply that it makes more weak compare to Bitcoin with limited supply.

Even if we believe on this things, I don’t think government will stop printing fiat money because that is already part of our culture and the government knows its importance and of course, they can’t get money through cryptocurrency so they have no choice but to remain on the old system of fiat money.
How will bitcoin take the US economy? Bitcoin isn't exclusive to US so they won't be getting a lot of bitcoin in circulation. What is more believable is that the US is going to use bitcoin as a reserve asset as opposed to switching the currency that they are using, and switching is going to be expensive and if they are going to do it in a crash then they are just digging the grave even deeper. They won't stop printing fiat because they know that bankers are going to save the economy like how they do back in the day.
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: random economic ideas on: March 10, 2021, 07:29:51 AM

there are ratings and Qscores and other metrics. where the director pays the actor a income. to be in the directors movie..
but this is another income stream for the actor outside of the income per role. based on his fanbase and success.
where his fans can be involved. and the fans can feel like they own a part of their celeb
I get it, so the bigger the fandom the celebrity is, the bigger the income stream that he/she is going to receive. I guess that it is not a bad idea and not to be commie dude but don't you think that giving more money to these celebrity is a bad idea? I mean they already have a big money from their contracts and they still have this? Don't you think it is a bit too much and I don't think that celebrities don't like the idea that the fans own them because they are still individuals humans that have feelings too.
1549  Economy / Economics / Re: random economic ideas on: March 10, 2021, 06:47:53 AM
Aren't we already doing that to celebrities? Although we don't call it as token but fame, the more they are famous then the more they are going to get paid for their works, kind of like how a painter is paid. It is a good idea but with the current social climate, I don't think that blatantly putting a price tag on a celebrity is a good thing because of all the snowflakes that is on the Internet. Better yet if we just tax this kind of people higher than those in the working class.
1550  Economy / Economics / Re: Pricing in Dollar - Pricing in Bitcoin on: March 10, 2021, 06:14:00 AM

It is not that we want it, it is just that it is inevitable at this point, fiat currencies as we know are backed by nothing and are accepted as legal tender because people believe the government knows what they are doing, but it turns out that due to the pandemic they printed a lot of fiat and this is going to cause inflation down the line, debts have increased massively and income from taxes has gone down, basically governments are in a terrible position that cannot be fixed except with a crash, and whether this happens sooner or later you need to be prepared in order to avoid the awful effects that we know are coming.
Who says that it is inevitable that it is going to crash? I know that people for a long time has been speculating that fiat will crash but to actively says that it will doesn't help with preventing a crash because if the people are loud enough about their opinions no matter how bad it is, the mentality that it cultivates will grow and it is a deadly precedent for something bad to really happen. Maybe you are all right about the crash will happen because people have been printing but what can we do? The people are ignorant and they do not want to tax the rich people so the money stays in their realm, if people were to move right now as what is intended a long time ago, I think that a crash can be prevented.
1551  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh militants use Bitcoins for laundering money to Kashmir on: March 10, 2021, 05:37:31 AM
IMO it does make sense that all these government decides to ban crypto since they have no capability of tracing nor they have connection to any exchange to get some information not to mention their territory seems very unstable and still many such illegal activities like this.

But, they better step up their game and build a method to identify any illegal activities like this because crypto sooner or later gonna dominate.
Yeah it is easy to say to step up their game but if the government is filled with corrupt people to the brim, I think that it will be close to impossible. There are existing methods but those countries do not have the funds to upgrade their current methods and when it comes to government spending, you have to be on budget and you should have the approval of the majority and you have to start almost from scratch.
1552  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bintex Team Refused Paying Hunters Rewards And Service Fees on: March 10, 2021, 04:56:25 AM
According to Bintex telegram latest posts, they are either pretending to be dumb, or shift all the guilt on the bounty managers.
So far posting in their group is not allowed and that is the sign that they are shady or cowards. Left my report on coinmarketcap.

Question to Bounty Detectives - when you face the situation that you are not paid for work, why dont you announced that on, for example, 4th week, and continued working all 10 weeks? If hunters would know that bounty managers are working for free for numerous weeks, first signs that there is something wrong with Bintex would appear.
I can see what you are pointing out in the early signs that they aren't going to pay but some campaigns do have some delays in payments. This is definitely a scamming team, 3 months is a long time to sort things out on their end if they really want to pay, the first month in my opinion is the minimum time to sort this kind of misunderstanding, I will be dropping my report on them too after this post to help the community.

I don't need a certificate of my niceness from a stranger online that has no idea about me, what I am, how many people I help on a daily basis and my humility. But yes, you are entitled to your opinion, we all have assholes after all. And by my experience people that assume that their own experience about things is the ultimate form of truth are idiots. Not saying that you are one, but you statistically align yourself with that group of people.
If you don't need a certificate of niceness from a stranger online, why would you declare yourself as "One more thing. I am a music loving, 15 pet owning, stray feeding, destitute helping, Gandhian non violent guy. 90% of the time.". Saying that you are humble is not humility at all, it is self-gratification. You probably lack self-awareness that you think that everyone who doesn't align with your opinion is an idiot.
~
As for challenging people? I didn't challenge anyone, I just said that I have been doxxed, my personal information, my images from 2 decades ago my school life, my personal life is all exposed here in this forum. Any dimwit with half a brain cell can dig it up.
Okay fair enough, you didn't directly challenged people, but why would you say in your post that they can try it? Isn't that a challenge?
~
And about the 10% .. well let's just leave it there. You may have misunderstood my sentence. Let me repeat. I'm nice, 90% of the times. 10% of the times, I'm the devil reincarnate. Come after me, and I will destroy you. Threat me with physical violence and "raining down on me like a ton of bricks" and I will retaliate by pummeling you like bricks under a road roller.
So much for your Gandhian non-violent guy persona, isn't Gandi pacifist no matter what?
1554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: March 09, 2021, 07:54:10 AM
The problem is why do newbies want to go for the new exchanges when there are established ones that are far more reliable and are guaranteed to not run away with your money. Going in with big money as a newbie I think is the biggest mistake that anyone can do especially as the topic says, you are in a new exchange.
1555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: March 09, 2021, 07:21:01 AM
I think that those who sell signals, why do they do it? If I am successful with my trades, why sell? Perhaps with the sale you get more than what you earn doing the trades?
That's like the most basic question to ask yourself whenever someone wants to help you get more money. Saved me a lot of heartache and money just by asking myself these questions and then asking them after that and most of the time, they really don't want to help you and all they want from you is to help them make more money. My advice is to be careful with signal groups because they are in a way trying to manipulate the market.
1556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: March 09, 2021, 06:36:30 AM
I am not sure as what is the major factor that affects the volatility of the prices but I think that speculation of the market prices is one of them because with speculation, trades are continuously happening which means that there is a lot of buying and selling which affects the supply and demand which is the direct reason for the prices of bitcoin which means that the more the trading volume, then the more the volatility will be. We don't have to worry about volatility though as it is present in almost any markets, its just that bitcoin market has a more prominent and noticeable price changes.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on: March 09, 2021, 05:58:05 AM
Tip: asking questions about "when to sell", "when to buy", or questions about prices in general are mostly going to be pointless. Most of us here are just as clueless as you are.

If you're happy with the 23.9% increase, sell. If not and you want to risk it a bit more and hope for a bigger increase, then hold a bit longer.
They want to feel that they are doing the right, that is why they are asking question despite the people that are asked doesn't know the answer too, nothing wrong with that in my opinion. 23.9% is a lot of money in such a short time, if I were that I would be filled with joy because I profited big time but that is if we are comparing it to the profits we get when we are on the stock market, in crypto a 23.9% is not something celebrated yet because it is evident that there are instances that a growth of more than 20% is possible, but @mk4 is right, if you are happy about it and you think that it is the right time to sell then do it.
1558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: March 09, 2021, 05:14:52 AM
Yes it is a benefit that nobody controls the prices, if it were the opposite, the one who controls will be able to sway the market whenever it suits their purposes. If nobody controls the prices, competition is feasible and people are going to be a willing participant in the market because they know that no one is in control of the prices, although having the market not having no one controlling it has its own problem and that is that one big enough group or individual could manipulate the market to a certain extent but that can be detected and can be condemned unlike when someone controls the market where they can just say that it is what it is.
1559  Economy / Reputation / Re: legendster Unfair Neg trust given based on a having a bad day and disliking me on: March 09, 2021, 04:33:54 AM
One more thing. I am a music loving, 15 pet owning, stray feeding, destitute helping, Gandhian non violent guy. 90% of the time.

However, I am known for my actions for the remaining 10% of the time everywhere. Even in this forum.

I have been doxxed. People can find out my house number and street address and phone number if they tried hard, I suggest you try it. I suggest you come meet me. And pray to your god that I am in the 90% zone that day. If its the later 10% zone, it'll be a very very VERY bad day for you.  Grin
I don't think that you describing yourself narcissistically is going to be good for you, I learned a long time ago that when someone says that they are a good person, chances are they aren't one. Your last sentences sounds like a threat, I hope that no one attempts to dox you because I know a lot of stories about doxing gone wrong and I don't think that the 10% that you are saying is going to save you, remember that doxxers can call a false police tip on your address so don't go challenging people to dox you man.
1560  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self mod] Flag to user DarkStar_ on: March 09, 2021, 03:45:34 AM
Being racist would warrant a neutral trust at best, but IMO it's something that should be left alone on a discussion forum that values free speech.  If he wrote something racist, you're free to challenge it with your own speech (though I rarely see DarkStar_ post much, and he's certainly never come off as a racist in any case).  In short, there's no need for a flag against him or anyone else for any race-related crap.
How are you going to challenge a racist argument because all they are going to say is illogical. Challenging a racist in a debate or an argument is far easier than walking. I don't get it, shouldn't we actively condemn racism whenever we see (not that @DarkStar_ is racist) but your reply that they should be left alone is the worst thing to do, racism, fascism and other kinds of bigotry are thriving when they are left alone, they are like cancer which will kill you in the long run but if you were to kill it while it is still small then you might prevent your death.
