Okay I've added 10 % BONUS per block on https://xdna.suprnova.cc

So it's no fee and additional 10 % per Block..

If you want coins, here you'll get 'em Smiley

That's kinda a lot! Ain't you losing too much? But thanks for helping split the network more equally. It keeps getting worse and worse with new people jumping over BSOD. It's over 90% of the network at the moment... people used to freak out when a pool was getting close to 51% but now they've gone over the other side and everyone stacks up on the one pool.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/08/08/fud-fueled-crypto-market-dumps-25-billion-in-24-hours/

We're 9.5% down in 24 hours?! Is that how much we fell? REALLY?!
Quote
Once again traders and hodlers have been suckered into the FUD frenzy and are selling out of crypto. It was hardly as if this decision wasn’t expected and nothing else has really changed in the ecosystem. Total market capitalization has plunged 9.5% on the day resulting in a loss of almost $25 billion. They are currently at their lowest point in 2018 which is just over $231 billion and the bear market is still in full effect.

This page is so weird... 3 out of the 5 previous posts look like written from kids who have not gone to school.
If those are our holders, then we're doomed! Unless if they lose their private keys and they can't sell! Roll Eyes
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: August 08, 2018, 11:01:17 AM
Our friends' site is open: https://alpha.phantom.org/ and from their post in Medium, they're going for a 3:1 airdrop for ARK holders (1 ARK = 3 XNC).
Since there's no ICO for Phantom, there isn't a starting price so we don't know if this is translated into a notable value or not, but their project seems to be the best so far among the ones which have chosen ARK's platform.

I just wonder how they will distribute these XNC to Ark holders ... if we have to login with our Ark private keys into their wallet then I have a problem because my Ark are on my Ledger Nano S. We'll see, they sould announce more informations about that soon.

They could request us to sign a message with our private key which proves we're the owners of our public ARK address.
Still... I wonder how can I sign a message with ARK.

Maybe an even better solution is to let us register an account somewhere, they create an XNC address and give us the private keys, we declare our ARK wallet address and then we have to make a 0.1 ARK transaction to their wallet with a unique message that proves we're the owners of the ARK wallet we declared.

Those would be the only safe methods I can think of, because I'm there's no way I'm sharing my private key with anyone, I'd better not take part in the aidrop if I had to share the private key.
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: August 08, 2018, 09:55:29 AM
these fpga miners are screwing all networks without asics with diff bombs

they said that they will release bitstreams so now people buy fpga and theyr not releasing because theyr exploiting stuff like this, im now going to asics its pointless to fight asics while we have people that toy with the network, they advocate anti asics because they mine with fpga and they dont want to lose the edge they have on gpu and the toying with the network hashrate

Cool story, any proof?

From the 3 biggest pools (Protopool, BSOD, Suprnova) I get the lowest ping from Protopool and also a steady payout well within my estimates.
Suprnova is also offering 0% fee which is good but I don't want to try BSOD which has overshadowed the rest of the pools for some reason... it's not like it offers anything special so why is most people there?
1547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 08, 2018, 09:45:36 AM
It's funny how the media is throwing the ball to ETF delays. Like having ETF and making it easier for manipulators to short Bitcoin would bring any benefit to crypto-believers like us.

Sure, whoever started this dive timed the selling with the news about the ETFs, but only in order to confuse weak hands and intensify the confusion and panic.
What I don't understand is HOW is someone able to manipulate the market, whenever they decide to sell they make it so people will panic sell driving the price lower. When they're happy with the lower price they buy so much that a spike is created and people go into FOMO mode, driving the price higher only for the manipulators to repeat the circle.

Even though I'm an experienced forex and stock market trader, when I tried to trade some Bitcoin futures I got for free (signature campaigns) I got beaten from the market.
For as long as there are people trying to trade Bitcoin instead of HODLing it, manipulators will keep playing with the price.

I don't remember what was their planned schedule for v2, but I know I was expecting it on August.
If that was indeed their official schedule and they're going to hit it even though they had unexpected problems and a change on their plans with the whole backward compatibility issue, then that's amazing!

I can't understand how some people sell their ARKs... to buy what? New shitcoins that have proved nothing when ARK's team has proved their abilities over a year now?
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 08, 2018, 08:18:32 AM
It's not that Coinbase won't touch XRP, they're considering to add it in one of their products,
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/coinbase-announces-custody-plans-40-205205237.html

Overall I see in this thread one or two people spamming their negativity in order to troll and suppress other people's opinions, but if someone is so sure that Ripple is dumping their coins driving the price down, this is the richlist of XRP: https://ledger.exposed/rich-stats the ledger is public so please prove me Ripple is scamming the investors.
I'm registered in their mail-list and I get often updates on how much XRP they draw, how much they use and what they don't need they lock it back in the escrow.

And to reproduce a post I liked,

Advice for these daring times.

I know it is never easy to see your holdings in the red (and for some... Very red), but go back to the fundamentals. Has ANYTHING negative happened to XRP over the past few months? No, of course not. Sure, there still be a cloud over XRP regarding the SEC, but this has been around for months, not just something that has happened over the past few days.

We are reaching the same Market Cap of Bitcoin Cash. Does this, in any single way, make sense? Of course not. XRP is riiiight around the corner of being used on a GLOBAL scale, by at least 1 major bank, while Bitcoin Cash is right around the corner of doing uhhh.... Nothing.

There are many theories at to why we are now dropping. It could be the Bear Whale who has returned to offload some XRP, it could be Institutional players who are pushing the price down to enter the market (they would have learned from the Dot Com bubble) or it could be a falling of investor confidence, leading to weak hands selling.

But one thing I highly recommend. Try not to sell. Just as nobody knows the peak, nobody knows the bottom. The bull run of last year happened instantly. Imagine selling tonight, going to bed prepared to buy lower in the morning, to find that XRP leaped 20% overnight. You would be absolutely kicking yourself. Imagine holding Apple, or Google (Alphabet) or Amazon shares at the early stage. Imagine being so far into the red, you sold to 'get some money back'. Forget about the companies for a few years, only to find out that you would have been rewarded for staying strong in those tough times.

Keep your heads high. Believe it or not, you are still early. Good luck.

I've noticed it's taking a long time to update, maybe in order to stay as battery and data friendly as possible? But if you press "stop" and then "start" mining again, it should update the amount.
I press "stop" and then i press "start" and....nothing changes. The status is active, but the balance does not change in the last 3 days. I have no idea what happened. A couple of days ago everything worked fine.

I noticed you said "the balance does not change", do you mean the "Pending Balance" from the "Miner" section of the app, or the "wallet balance" from the "Wallet" section?
The Pending Balance should increase like once every hour but only after it reaches 10 ETN it will be moved to your Wallet Balance.

What is wrong with the mobile minier? The application seems to be working fine, it connects to the network but the balance does not change.

I've noticed it's taking a long time to update, maybe in order to stay as battery and data friendly as possible? But if you press "stop" and then "start" mining again, it should update the amount.

I could not find the question about which iOS device you are using in your registration form, will the application be accessible to each device? Or are there any restrictions?

There are hardly any restrictions for iOS devices. Everything that came out the last 5 years will be fine, and probably even older devices too.

Just to let you guys know, a new project - PHANTOM - is built on ARK technology, great read why they choose ARK: https://medium.com/@phantomdotorg/why-is-phantom-is-building-on-ark-e137452a79f1

Further there will be an Airdrop for Ark holder!

Some of the Phantom Team members are formerly guys from Centra - there will be an Airdrop for CTR holder too, read everything here: https://medium.com/@phantomdotorg/phantom-the-intro-summary-pt-1-5f195192d907

If somebody calls Centra a scam just read this: https://medium.com/@Centra/dear-centra-community-let-the-truth-be-known-5241777b51d1

Wow I didn't know ARK was supporting 15 programming languages and they're aiming for 20. I knew they support multiple languages, but I never bothered to look into which or how many.
And among these, Swift iOS? I think this is important for businesses since (probably) most professionals are using iOS powered devices, and ARK is aiming for businesses.

Nice article and good picturing of ARK. In the end though... I didn't understand what "Phantom Protocol" is... something to do with MI6 and agent 007 maybe? Roll Eyes

I missed the first batch, so I just bought some more Xilinx shares while waiting for the next generation. It's probably going to take a long time for a new FPGA with significant power boost to be released, but it's fine... I won't support the resellers who took miners' position in the preorder queue and now are trying to add a ton of profit on top of the cards.

network speed is more than 30gh/s, but block rewards is still 5 coins

The code is probably taking some average into account, otherwise it'd jumb up and down very often.
From the past few reward increases though, it seems that the BitGun thingy is reacting pretty fast to the global hashrate.

Good job team!

Hello manager !! Is the bounty company over?

I don't think so, read his post,

Hello,

We create ANN and Bounty ANN for countless clients, you have without a doubt seen some of ours! If you are intereseted in having your own professionally made, send us a message.

But pask777, shouldn't this be in the "Announcements" section, not the "Bounties" one?

Also, if the team is reading this, in case you have a FAQ ready, you need to change your website link to the FAQ page. The HTML code is,
Quote
<a href="www.rewardprotocol.com/faq/" ...etc...

When it should have been,
Quote
<a href="/faq/" ...etc...
if you don't start the link with a the "https://" then the browser will just attach your link to the end of the current URL.

All users not satisfied with ETN should give negative trust to contraband and all electroneum staff on this forum.
Plenty of reason there:
1) Using mobile miner name for airdrop software, misleading investors and newcomers
2) Promising to keep the coin ASIC resistant during ICO and then going ASIC friendly
3) Gaming implementations promises as top priority that never happened
4) Big exchange listing promises that never happened
5) Apple mining software that never happened (yes, you should have consulted Apple before announcing it)

Leaving negative trust is the only way to let other registered users know that they need to be careful with this coin.

1) The mobile miner is working so what's misleading? If you mean that the rewards are jokingly low, I'll agree with you. However I'm sure the team had set a specific amount of ETN for distribution through the mobile miner. The reason they're too low at the moment is because there are 150.000 miners and the price of ETN is oversold. Maybe they should increase the amount they distribute, but if they did that now they would only hurt the price even more because of the higher emission. They'd do better to first get listed in a bigger exchange, buy some ads and then push more rewards through the mobile miner.

2) Say you promise you'll sow corn in a farm you're preparing, but before you sow the price of corn dropped super low and you'd lose more money for sowing corn than not sowing at all. What do you do? I'd sow something else. You know what's that called? ADAPTABILITY! I don't know if you were there but when the algo went anti-ASIC, the network was being abused by Nicehash and there were not enough GPU miners to support the network. Thankfully the team acted within 2 or 3 days if I recall correct

3) We're 10 months since the chain went online, so what do you mean "it never happened"? I'm living in Greece which has a messed up economy, do you know how many years we hear from politicians that "the growth is coming"? Wink Learn to have some patience! It's really important for any coin to have real world uses, but gaming is just one part of it. There was an announcement recently about collaborations with shops, I believe it should be somewhere above our posts.

4) I agree with that, I don't know what's taking so long really.

5) I have the beta version in my iPad. They were rejected at first and they had to change their plan. It was not canceled, just postponed.

I hope I covered you! Peace.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XDNA]Revolution in mining|POW|Dual Mining|BitGun|T.N.T. [XDNA][ANN] on: August 06, 2018, 12:46:18 PM
I don't understand why FPGAs are evil. I can understand why ASICs are, since they're controlled by a single company which produces ASICs for just mining. Therefore they wouldn't sell money-making machines for what they're worth, they would use them themselves. If they're selling them, it means they're making more money than would from using them.

But FPGAs are around a long time now and they're used in security, networking, datacenters... just like GPUs are used for gaming, image editing, 3D rendering etc...
Xilinx and the other company that makes the FPGAs are not selling them for mining purposes, it's the community that modifies them so as to be more effective for mining, just like the modified mods and miners for GPUs.

It's good to have GPU minable and FPGA minable coin (ASICs can go die) and I 100% support the path XDNA is taking, but I don't like the logic "FPGA friendly algo = scam coin".
If some coins are mined with FPGAs, then less people will buy GPUs for mining and the GPU cost and availability will be improved, helping the gamers like me as well.

It's good that the "Deploying and testing on internal Testnet" of Core v2 is at 100% and I know it's summer, people are going on vacations etc... but shouldn't you update us on the progress of "Deploying and testing on public Devnet" at some point?
You've left it at 5% for quite some time now.
