1541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why MUST Bitcoin crash and have another winter? on: December 27, 2017, 10:20:33 AM
Regardless of the 2013 incident we still know with high certainty that Bitcoin will go up eventually Smiley
1542  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin stop its correction? on: December 27, 2017, 10:17:36 AM
Do not be frighten guys, it is just normal for Bitcoin to correct, well it has been rocketing for a while and it needs to come down sometimes. And it is just normal!
These corrections are normal in bitcoin, if it comes down the least price can be up to $10k and again bitcoin rises up from January, now it's time to buy, some alts is also having good future, observe and invest it will be more profitable.

Bitcoin is like a rocket .... it goes up falls down ... ignites the next stage and goes up again .... Smiley

Soon we will drift out of orbit Tongue
1543  Economy / Speculation / Re: THIS is the time to buy! on: December 27, 2017, 10:14:41 AM
I remember feeling crappy about buying at $90 or $290.

A year from now you will be thinking .... hmmmzz why didn't I buy dem cheap <15k coinz.

For now we only know bitcoin is going up...

Most users have the same feeling of missing chances to buy low. Now the increased price keeps the user into panic, but even now there are people who have sold all their belongings buying bitcoin and holding as a long term investment asset. Upon such incidents it is clear that individual interest is the one that makes people take decisions of buying bitcoin unlike the price.

Selling your belongings to buy Bitcoin isn't investing but gambling.
But YES invest in Bitcoin and don't gamble on it  Smiley

That and everyone is responsible for their own analysis and actions.
1544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 27, 2017, 01:04:19 AM
Let's get to 20,000 pages only using the word 'fuck'.

YES AND USE A LARGE FUCKING FONT

THAT FONT IS NOT LARGE ENOUGH, FONTARD!!!

FUCK

WTF?

hahahaha
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: December 27, 2017, 12:37:29 AM
Why risk so much when long time HODL'ing is a stress free make certain money strategy.
You get greedy = you lose.
1547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can You Feel the Panic? on: December 27, 2017, 12:32:11 AM
Every panic Bitcoin get s distributed more evenly... the effects will diminish.
Pump & dump and Market Manipulations will get harder and harder.
1548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 15K will be the floor for further gains in BTC price? on: December 27, 2017, 12:30:52 AM
I believe that $12.5K is the ABSOLUTE floor. Good luck!

+1

MOST say they will buy at 10K. This means people will try and get ahead of the crowd. 11k to 12.5k seems to be the bottom.
1549  Economy / Speculation / Re: THIS is the time to buy! on: December 27, 2017, 12:27:25 AM

It was a fun thread for as long as it lasted  Roll Eyes
1551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Look like Christmastimes discount is over ? on: December 27, 2017, 12:20:58 AM
It looks like Bitcoin is going up.....

however....

my experience says we should first get another dump lower than the previous dump.... hope not but I'm ready for it.
1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Answers to what is Bitcoin backed by? Give your answers on: December 27, 2017, 12:19:27 AM
Bitcoin is backed by work just as all currencies are.
1553  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN @ $20,000 A PIECE BEFORE 2017 ENDS? on: December 26, 2017, 11:28:29 AM
It is extremely possible, look at bitcoins right now. It has grown 10% just today and there are still 5 days to go. It just needs to recover 4k and it is already near where it used to be at 19k. I think there is enough time to pump bitcoins to reach 20k in just a few days.

Yes but we have also gone down in the last days.
20k will come soon but not within a few days Smiley
1554  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BITCOIN POPS? on: December 26, 2017, 12:50:56 AM
There are enough people that believe in Bitcoin .... I always wonder why people come here to tell us it's doomed.... somehow they need to come over and convince us .... Why? Missed the boat?  Tongue
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has BTC started the upward move? How high will it jump on: December 26, 2017, 12:47:39 AM
Bitstamp and Bitfinex prices are close together... this is a good sign of stability.
Upwards push will hopefully get us back to 15k soon and hopefully keep us on a nice steady slow rise.

Looking at the past I would expect another possible drop to 10k before full recovery. However we cannot predict Bitcoin Smiley
1556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low and selling high on different exchanges on: December 25, 2017, 11:10:10 AM
There are significant differences in pricing on various exchanges. What is to stop someone from buying at a low rate on one exchange, sending it across into another exchange and dumping it for a profit?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets

Can someone please explain the catch?

Ever tried getting money into and out of exchanges?

You cannot sign up with BitFinex due to DDos etc.
You need to transport between exchanges. Doing this in $$$ this will require validation and bank transactions.
Also you will have withdrawl and transaction fees.

Creating a loop is possible if coins allow for it
Example: Exchange A - buy BTC convert to LTC. Move LTC to B and convert to BTC. Move BTC to A and covert to LTC... etc.
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going down. on: December 25, 2017, 11:05:15 AM
Hi guys I am a newbie and tell me please that why the price of bitcoin goes to decrease? please tell me the main reason because I like this coin and when it's price goes to decrease I am very worried.

Don't worry!

This is my version of how it works after being here for > 4 years

Crazy people enter with crazy money.
Big whales artificially push down the price.
People get worried and sell with a loss.

... and now what will probably happen ...

Price will increase.
Few who stayed think they are winners and buy more.
Whales push down price to even lower low.
Even more people will now sell with a loss.
Price will stay low for a longer period aswell.
People think Bitcoin cannot recovers....
Most people cannot sustain the lower prices because they need the money.
The price recovers and gets ready for the next leg upwards.
1558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 25, 2017, 12:54:45 AM
I think we have some resistance up around 14400...I for one would be happy to see us break it

Triangle formation. Hopefully we will break out but you are right, there is a barrier between 14200 and 14800.

For now we will ping pong between 12800 and 14200. Tomorrow we will arrive at the breakout point at approx 13600 and see what happens Smiley
1559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ultimate ATH of Bitcoin in 5 years?? on: December 25, 2017, 12:47:20 AM
"I am sending this message from 2025. The situation here is lousy, and some of you are responsible for it"

The world is ruined in 2025....

Take away points
---------------------------
So stay up to 2021 at least and get $1M/BTC
Then party hard and die before 2025

 Cool

Anyways it is easy to do what he does

2010 $0.1
2011 $1
2012 $10
2013 $100
------------------
2015 $1,000
2017 $10,000
2019 $100,000
2021 $1,000,000
------------------
2024 $10,000,000
2027 $100,000,000
2030 $1,000,000,000
2033 $10,000,000,000
------------------
2037 $100,000,000,000
2041 $1,000,000,000,000
2045 $10,000,000,000,000
2059 $100,000,000,000,000
What kind of lunacy is that? I am sure you are one of those trolls pretending to send that message from the future but I hope your btc price prediction is right. Still, I dont want your prediction about the world being damned by 2025. For now, it makes sense that there is a probability for the world to be ruined by 2025 considering how things are proceeding in the world out there but saying bitcoin speculators are responsible for it is too far off. Why would some of us be responsible for it in the first place?

I was merely reacting to the stupid post from the future they were talking about. It's not my post.
I was extrapolation the calculation to show that it is not an intelligent prediction and frankly insane if you look at it in the long run.
AGAIN It's not MY prediction.

As btcone111 says we will only get these values if the dollar hyperinflates.

My sarcasm failed....  Cry
1560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Winning Bitcoin Day Traders Thread on: December 25, 2017, 12:36:40 AM
How do you do it? Technical Analysis + Fundamental Analysis + Instincts + research?

What else? Please share your ideas.

Fundamental analysis is useless, nobody knows where this puppy is going. For he long term it is safe to say we are going up Smiley
Research is futile, so much bullshit is being sold.

I'm a HODLer, trading in this market will get you caught off guard and kill your investment.

TIP 1: Don't be greedy. Don't day trade Smiley

Actually I can say the following which is actually something in the lines of Warren Buffetts advice.
When people are barging to get in you must leave or HODL through the period.
When people are running for the exit you should buy more or HODL.
If you do what everyone does you will be just as big a bagholder as them.

TIP 2: Don't follow the so-called experts.

That said see this as a lottery ticket. I put in 5k and I have an exit goal.
The exit goal is a specific time or an amount, whichever comes first.

TIP 3: Firmly believe you have lost all your money (even if it is becoming a bigass pile of 5/6/7-digit dollars), it is no longer something you should feel emotions about.

As for day-trading (been there, done that, got the scars). Things happen quick and hard in Bitcoin.

TIP 4: Don't use a stop loss. You WILL get caught out.
TIP 5: Watch out with leverage. You WILL get caught out.
TIP 6: Watch out with going short. You WILL get caught out.
TIP 7: Best thing to trade on are anomalies. Where the price dips 20% in an instance. Grab the coins, wait for the correction, sell with profit.

That said the best of luck Smiley
