Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
Wait, what? Seriously, are you a kid? We don't need Santa Claus, what we need right now is whales that can pump the price for good even just for this quarter. I think he actually meant it as whales by saying about Santa Claus. And @OP, please don't expect that a magic wand will be quaked in the name of Jesus and then you'll see BTC around a million or even a billion if that is your only wish, but don't forget to ask for BTC too so to hold some at the time you see it. /jk I think the gift we could get will be the worst one as we will only have BTC get down to under 7k and that will happen during Christmas only and then we will have our bottom after which we will start a fresh bull run. I guess my words proved to be true so early because the charts were predicting blood on the day BTC bled. I don't think we could go any further down than this because this is now looking as higher low for this year and the support is looking great for BTC to hold around 7200-7500 for the next few weeks or just get a big erect green light on the charts with at least $1350 pump.

Can you restrict your website to IP or country with a phone number login only [per account] and manage to get a code installed, which could stop virtual numbers from joining? I don't think anyone would bother to create a lot of accounts because it will stop a lot of lazy guys from doing that, and if you can afford to send OTP every time they try to login, it is better than the best.
For your marketing, why don't you try to set up a signature campaign here? While you are relying solely on Google ads, I think you can get a better response by opening up an Ethereum based signature campaign if BTC and its fees are not affordable for you. You can pay less and still get quality members advertise in various parts of the forum if you set up your rules like that. It will gain much more speed in gaining good user base with this method.

On top of all that, I tend to check all links with VirusTotal (mind you it will not catch them all), turning that into a habit. I even use Opera to browse many URLs just to hide my real IP (it’s basically a proxy, not a VPN), despite using a VPN. Will you mind sharing the website you use to get your proxies? Are they completely safe to browse over? Paid or free?

Another scanner: https://www.urlvoid.com/It is always a good practice to use more than one scanner. A 4 year-old article opened my eyes that even shortening them is dangerous for our privacy and data. In terms of finding the links, I use http://www.getlinkinfo.com to check all shortened URLs.

Have you ever thought that if a user, who intentionally wants to infect your PC/phone with malware, will just add a different link inside the URL part and show you a different link here?
You mean, like this ? www.youtube.comI put www.youtube.com but inside of it, is www.google.com. Yeah, it really risky about that. Especially if you see that kind of post with some random members of the forum especially. About this issue, if you are using mobile phones, you can also see the link once you long press the link and you will see the link you will visit, especially in Brave browser, google chrome browser (android). Not sure in any browsers or platforms on mobile. Yeah, like that. Sometimes, a little bit of care can save your back from being stuck into a situation where you find yourself to be a victim because of your own silliness. We need to stay secure and for that, we should take care of these smallest issues which can do big loss to our finance as well as important data.

When you go for shortcuts while in a bounty, you just blindly click a link to check a tweet/post made by a user to get some content for your tweet/post on Twitter/Facebook as such are those campaigns. Have you ever thought that if a user, who intentionally wants to infect your PC/phone with malware, will just add a different link inside the URL part and show you a different link here? My advice would be to first hover over any link you click on this forum or just tap and hold a link, tap on "Copy link address", paste it somewhere (but not address bar) and check the link. Only visit the link if it does belong to the website it is supposed to be.

TBH even if the main agenda is not about the exchanges, I would say that exchanges do it specifically to increase the volume as well as gain a lot of fees from those trades because many noobs perform wash trades (scalping type trades) and believe they have arranged the volume needed to win some part.
Groupify it I think you need to get a group of trustworthy people interested in doing group of trading all through one account, thus giving you higher chances of winning the competition.
Never do wash trades Urgent trades will just not get you anywhere but make you lose a lot in fees and such trades are considered invalid, so doing them will not bring in win.
Spot better entry/exit points These competitions give a boost to some unknown, yet reputed alts which get a chance to be on top all the time while being traded on the exchange most of the time. If you can spot better entry and exit points by switching to 30 mins and higher time-frames, you can be rest assured that even if you don't win something in the competition, you are still a winner in terms of making good profits because these coins always get volume needed to pump that coin higher and even if you get 10-20% from these coins, then it's free money for you on your investment.

If you want a clear cut prediction about Bitcoins, you should come up with something like this - [ANN]Speculation Game -10th anniversary Indian Forum Celebration-Win 0.002211btc And once you collect a lot of predictions, watch for pressure on the markets whether it's a buy pressure or sell pressure, decide a value to be set a pivot point and a value you think it could go up/down till, and then trade because here you know about the market sentiments. If you cannot afford to give a prize, can't you open a poll here with your own set of values you think BTC can go to?

I think OP is a victim of someone hacking his account and then getting it banned(via the ban evasion rule) I saw details like the ones Yoshie posted but i didn't have enough time to through all the investigation but from what i learned the person who hacked OP's account had already been banned.
I believe he has hacked a couple of more accounts and got them banned too because as soon as the account changes hands you start to notice bounty applications using the same old telegram, twitter and Facebook usernames and also starts posting regularly in the Sri Lankan local board
You mean the hacker is intentionally doing it to get the hacked accounts banned instead of using it for financial purposes? That is kinda something strange going on over here and we need to keep our accounts safe because if we get our accounts hacked like that and once banned for ban evasion (which is a special case IMHO), I don't think it will resolve any sooner.

I would prefer Binance USD (BUSD) over any other coin that is an alternative to fiat because Binance had been here for just a few years and what a great progress had been presented by them, I am seeing their project to be running for at least a decade or two and with that, you can be rest assured that BUSD will not ditch you in the long run while you fear that Tether could foul play after Bitfinex shutdown.

With leverage, I have seen much more persons getting liquidated than those who trade altcoins. I have said this not just pointing out the leverage part, but the normal price changes too because those who bought BTC at its peak at around $20k and sold at $3k are still in a major loss there in USD terms if not in BTC.

Was the hacker able to use those fake generated coins in trading? Even 0.01% of that would have been enough to work as a bounty for hacker if he was able to get it. Sigh that there was a flaw but I'm sure we are not going to witness that ever again. If not completely destroyed, the hacker would have taken partial advantage of that hack?
And nice article you have brought to us.

Buy BTC alone because BTC will either drop or drive up but till it stabilizes, I don't think that trying out alts is good. With all in, if you mean that you are going to put the money you may need in future, then please don't do it. Any amount of money that you can just set and forget BTC with and you can afford to lose 'not in full but some percentage' is what I would advice you to invest.

I don't see the next leg up coming so quick this time because BTC almost broke down its strongest support at 9k just a few moments ago. If it gets strongly declined, then 8750 and may be 8300 is to be seen. I am not too sure about my targets as I'm bullish over BTC and would like to see BTC growing alone just like the rest of you here 'except the shorters'.

@Yahoo, you said it right, BTC is everything all of us (participants) are worried about which is why the "Send to my BTC balance" debate pops up every time their wallet goes out of funds.
Yobit is throwing money away. In my opinion, it's quite the opposite. Those who believe this are totally stupid IMHO. Yobit knows what they are doing here, so we don't need to teach them anything. Now when we take into consideration that this campaign is actually the biggest one on this forum, then we can easily assume that it generates a lot more as 15% of the traffic for CryptoTalk.org. Why not? They have now reached around 10k members in less than 2 months total 'while I can't comment over how many are unique accounts and how many are alts' but a hefty user base in very less time. Additionally, this campaign is paid using Yobit wallets and all participants will buy, sell, exchange, withdraw and pay fees for all of these transactions, providing more traffic, liquidity on the exchange and adding to the overall volumes. You didn't add their investbox, YoPony game and dice here? Most users prefer to gamble their coins on their dice because even if it is not provably fair, I have seen that chances of doubling (sometimes quadrupling) your coins in a few moments is very easy. And the type of advertising Yobit is doing here is probably dual advertising (hitting 2 targets) at the cost of single project (with just one arrow). This is the biggest cryptocurrency forum and advertising here is worth all the money and efforts, especially for companies or products from this niche. I will not comment on whether Yobit is scam or not anymore, but they have obviously taken a relatively good approach by requesting Yahoo to be the manager of their campaign, this is helping them look more trustworthy here and that is kind of bringing them to the advantage of having those 'Yahoo fans' getting to their forum and exchange both and they are enjoying that. I think I have to add that I am using Yobit frequently from the start and never had a single problem with them. Same here, they look shady but no problems here with me so far. That does not mean that if I have not been scammed by them till now, will not get scammed in the future. I am aware of the complains and the red paints against them so I can't trust them fully but to some extent.

There is nothing wrong in looking for free money, that's human nature. I would, however, not give much time in collecting them knowing that most of these projects will vanish in near term and collecting a few pennies at the cost of our KYC details is not worth at all. Doing so contains a big risk of getting our details compromised and I'm sure you won't be giving quality time to understand project carefully because it is just a penny you will go for.

I see this as a practice just to earn that buck, because that's without effort. Anything that is necrobumped and posts thereafter should not be paid at all or should be checked very carefully at least once before paying them. Necrobumps to megaspam threads should never be paid because they will always be shit. Those who read the first page or just the OP and necrobump a thread should be given a warning if they don't add anything additional and unique that's not said before, cindering that the thread is limited to max 10 pages. All those who post in any thread should take a suggestion from me - please take some time and check at least 2-3 and maybe 5 pages and not just make a post based on the first page alone, and necrobump only if you think you have an answer that will really help out OP which was not given to him by anybody else in that thread. Others who follow after this need to see if they can add anything that adds any value to the discussion or just leave it as it is. I asked you to check around first 5 pages - this should be done to prevent yourself from saying what is already told by someone else and even stop you from necroposting as you will be able to see if the thread was bumped by someone recently but was very old.
@Yahoo, you also need to do something about the quote-webbers who make a big web of quotes adding nothing to the discussion but just to increase their post count. Such shit quotes should never be considered less than spam unless they really add anything to the talk of the thread.

Is that 10 USDT and the profit made with it, withdrawable? What are the terms to withdraw if I can withdraw them? Do you use an average of all the exchanges you have shown on your website or do you have a different formula to derive the price of Bitcoin? Do you use your own exchange value for BTC? And the most important question is, are there wicks taking place any moment? I meant that does manipulation take effect in your exchange or is it free from it?

@DannyHamilton, Isn't it true that even if we add a passphrase to secure our wallet, it does not add any security locks to the seed and if seed is compromised, the wallet software will not ask for the old passphrase but a new passphrase to the person who hacked it, right? ... snip... If they send those coins somewhere else and get that transaction confirmed, then you will have lost the coins. ...snip...
Confirmed? What if they remain unconfirmed during the time the original owner of the wallet sees and catches the fraudulent activity? Are there any chances of reversal?

The owners of this sig campaign will evaluate it's efficiency after the campaign ends. They could have ended this way earlier if they were not getting any results from the campaign. Having such a big campaign on a forum like Bitcointalk is a very aggressive marketing approach. They might have a different thought in mind that you may not have, anybody who advertises here knows that advertising here would be highly beneficial to their crypto project because of the user base this forum has. Paying 10 BTC per month for advertising is insane. Those guys probably know how to get a good ROI from such investment.
No, because Chipmixer is also spending around the same amount each month while they have very less amount of members involved in the campaign, the only difference is the quality that they conquer the forum with.
