Zimbabwe S vs Pakistan S
Today is the 3rd unofficial ODI between these two teams. If we take a look of the previous two matches. So we will see that the Zimbabwe team is looking more strong as compare to the Pakistan team. In the first match Zimbabwe made 234 runs but Pakistan team got out on 210 runs. In the second ODI Zimbabwe made 236 runs but Pakistan's performance was really bad and it made only 156 runs.
Today Zimbabwe is also looking strong. Let see what will happen?

Zimbabwe has already one the series! Relax it is an unofficial match therefore it wont affect the stats. Looking at the present scenario this Pakistan team lacks good talents otherwise they won't have lost so badly in both matches. I a surprised Zimbabwe is playing so good, their A team even does not play so well in International series or ICC tournament.
1542  Local / India / Re: 30% TDS on online gaming on: May 21, 2023, 08:09:02 AM
I am not sure whether it has been implemented or not but for skilled online gaming, the government had proposed a reduction. From 30 percent it was proposed to 18 percent. As I am not into any kind of online gaming I do not understand what it meant by skilled gaming.

This news came out last month. The thing is that government does not believe that cryptocurrency does not require any skills. That is why we are still in the highest tax bracket.

It is true that international cricket is becoming more and more irrelevant. Franchise cricket and T20 league cricket are also becoming more and more popular day by day. But I think that transition is happening a little too fast. I don't know if Cricket is ready for that transition.

Only one franchise cricket is a big success and not all. Therefore your argument that T20 cricket is becoming more relevant is baseless. If multiple franchise  leagues were a huge success then your argument would have been relevant. The right sentence here would be and which I also agree is that ODI and Test cricket becoming irrelevant with T20 fromat becoming more relevant. Players are eager to play this format not just because of money but also because it gets over in just 3 hours. Physically they can play more T20 games without getting injured then other formats.

KKR lost but how good is this Rinku guy?

Every time team is in a tough spot, this fella always steps in. He keeps doing it again n again and surprises everyone all the time.

An excellent season for him and i hope he gets a call from the national team, we desperately need this kind of power in the lower order.

Rinku Singh, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shivam Dubey are few names that might be in the mind of Indian selectors. The problem with KKR team batter is unreliability but this guy is the only one who has become a reliable face of KKR. Due to his performance yesterday KKR lost but just 1 run. Imagine if they had won by 1 runs, what would happened?

Intresting game scheduled today GT vs RCB. A must win game for RCB, need to see whether Kohli can repeat his performance. RCB is completely dependent on the batting performance of three guys. Whereas every batter in GT has been consistent.

I don't think we can actually blame Josh Little. He did what he was supposed to. He put his duty towards his national team head of money. And I really like that decision from him. I know it did not matter too much in the end because they could not win any matches. But I would still say that he did the right thing.

Actually you are wrong, what Little did was brilliant. Ireland is an upcoming team in cricket. Little might be the only player from Ireland playing in IPL. He got recognised in IPL because of his team. He just securing his berth and at the same time ensuring his seat as the next captain of Irish team.

Andrew Balbirnie is 32 year old with zero hopes of getting a place in IPL at the moment. He will retire in a few years or might get removed as a Captain after the WC, if they qualify or before the WC if they do no qualify. The next player that might get a chance is Little. Why? Because of IPL, his performance and his commitment to his team.

I don't know. IMO, their quality went down after 2019. Still they are unable to replace their players who retired recently, such as Kevin O'Brien, Boyd Rankin, William Porterfield and Tim Murtagh. But now there is hope for them. The fund allocation from the ICC has been increased by more than 3 times. Cricket Ireland can use at least part of these funds to improve the quality of domestic cricket and to construct new infrastructural facilities such as stadiums and training centers. At this point, they may be the strongest tier-2 test team. Don't think that Zimbabwe are above them.

Infrastructure is a big concern! They do not have proper grounds and stadium for cricket. Domestic cricket needs to be improved that is for sure. They have talents and all they need to do is provide them with a good infrastructure. Without it you cannot nurture those talents for the future. That goes for any format of cricket.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 19, 2023, 10:59:54 AM
Before 2019 we used to see Kohli in the same manner as he did yesterday. It was just astounding to see him hit a breezy 100 in 63 balls. Not to forget Klaasen 104 runs in 51 just  balls.

Kholi's 100 is special because it cam while chasing the target under pressure. I always said that he fails unders pressure now days. It seems he might have overcome this issue. A good sign for the Indian team before the ODIWC.
1548  Local / India / Re: The Indian local board needs a Moderator!! on: May 18, 2023, 03:37:56 AM
Scammers have been targeting our local board, and we as a community have been idle. It resulted in a newbie posting a scam platform. None of the global moderators deleted this topic, nor have any active members @pakhitheboss, @elevates, @IIrik11, and merit source @Heisenberg_Hunter. I would say it is pretty clear that none of them want anything to do with the local board as none of them might have reported this guy.

If these individuals had reported this issue, then I imagine this topic would have been deleted. Considering the attitude of these individuals, I think it is high time that @theymos should consider a mod for the Indian board. I am ready to do it if considered, as I have not seen anyone or @eaLiTy (recommended name) being active on this board.

Thanks.

Thanks to you this post has been deleted from the board. You should have read the replies on this topic by @elevates & @IIrik11 they were sufficient enough for the scammer to understand that the community is able to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong.

Members, like you need to take ownership, like you did to prevent such topics from thriving on the board. At the moment we do not have a dedicated mod but the global mods are very active. I have reported topics from child boards and the main boards and global mods have taken the required actions.

Few threads that can help you and other members to improve our board

Agreed with this. I don't have much hope for Ireland. Their quality seems to have gone down over the years. The last time these two teams met in test format was back in 2019 (when William Porterfield was the captain), and back then Ireland got bundled out for just 38 runs (Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes shared all the 10 wickets between them). To this day, it remains as the lowest total ever made by Ireland in a test innings. Just hope that they will put up a decent performance this time, and may at least manage a three-digit total.

They have indeed shown some improvement from 2019 till now but they are no match against England at the moment. England is one of the top 3 teams in test cricket. Whereas Ireland ranks 12th on the list of top test teams, one of a test match against England is a wonderful opportunity for them. Am I the only one that feels that Ireland is getting more opportunities across all formats compared to other teams?

I mean there is Zimbabwe above them and then there is Scotland below them but I haven't seen these two teams getting more test games than Ireland in this year.

What a mess for PBKS! DC gave a free hand to PBKS and still they lost. They had a good chance of getting into the playoffs but after this loss it is next to impossible for them. Liam Livingstone tried his level best yesterday with a quick knock of 94 in just 48 balls.

Rilee Rossouw is a great asset for the South African side. Watching him bat yesterday was thrilling & oddly satisfying.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: May 17, 2023, 06:20:44 AM
Any long term gambling projects investor here? I have been monitoring Rollbit gambling platform token for a while now and to my surprise this token makes it to a new high recently, from 0.001$ in 2022 of October to 0.02$ today, that's impressive gains and the all time high was even 0.05$ in February of 2023, anyone buying such coins for a long term hold?

I have not gambled on Rollbit before and I want to ask if there is anything adding extra value to Rollbit token, anyone using this platform should please drop a feedback, is the token been used on the platform itself for gambling? Or it has benefits if gamblers use the token to gble instead of using Bitcoin?

Thanks
I have not invested in any gambling platform tokens in the past. After reading this thread, I did some research about RLB and found it to be a part of the Rollbit lottery. The past one-year performance of this token is looking good, and if someone wants to invest in it, then they need diamond hands. I cannot speculate on the future price, but I understand that it completely depends on the performance of the Rollbit lottery. I assume they have significantly increased their user base for the price to spike up significantly.

I agree overall Rohit is an incredibly nice guy that's why he got the tag of Brohit but at the same he did get irritated when Hardik got the T-20 captaincy for bilaterals, not at the management or Hardik but at broadcasters, when they portrayed the T-20 team is under Hardik.
Anyone in his position would get irritated. You were the captain of T20WC team, and you were solely blamed for the poor performance of your team. Then you are asked to leave the captainship. What can you expect? You are bound to get irritated. Still, he is one of the well-behaved players of the Indian team. If he leaves his test captainship, then who do you think would replace him? After KL Rahul, I do not have a clue.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 17, 2023, 05:07:36 AM
The 178-run target looked like a target of 200-plus runs for MI. The last two overs by LSG and the failure of SKY, according to me, were the reasons why MI lost to LSG. The last over by Mohsin Khan was outstanding. Tim David and Cameron Green were a big disappointment whereas Marcus Stoinis and Pandya were the reasons why LSG was able to get 178 runs on a tough pitch for batting.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 16, 2023, 12:34:17 PM
Today's match would be extremely engaging one. Both MI & LSG need to win this match. The problem here is that only one will win. team that loses today's match might not qualify for the playoffs. This is the first time Kunal Pandya is captaining a team in IPL. If he is able to get LSG into playoffs, then it will open opportunities for him Rohit Sharma is still struggling with the bat, but his team's performance has greatly improved. Both teams are best suited against each other. think it will be a close match. Need some big-scoring game; hopefully today's will deliver it.

Yes, it would be as two good teams will be playing against each other. Both desperately need to win today's match. Both have a good batting depth and good bowling attack. My main concern is Rohit's form he seems to be struggling with his bat. Except him all other batters in MI who were struggling with bat are back in action.
1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 16, 2023, 06:54:41 AM
I'd prefer if Virat and Rohit take official retirement from T-20 and ODI (After WC) and focused on Test cricket and IPL.

The level of fitness that Virat is in, I doubt he will retire in a couple of years. Rohit has been prone to injuries and doesn't looks fit so I think he might retire from International cricket first. I doubt these guys will announce thei retirement. I think when BCCI starts dropping them then they might do it.

They both are out of T20 format next will be ODI and  with it test will also come.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.4% People from Bangladesh Hold Cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2023, 01:48:58 AM

It seems that we can expect this to happen soon. Based on the news, it appears that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is urging Bangladesh to create a clear policy on cryptocurrency. From my understanding, this is a push from the IMF to legalize cryptocurrency in Bangladesh, in order to accelerate economic growth post-Covid-19 and amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are expected to see improved economic growth by legalizing cryptocurrency, which could help them pay off their debts more quickly. The United Nations (UN) has also called on India to encourage G20 members to assist Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.

source : link
source 2 : link

None of these countries will legally adopt cryptocurrency. Corruption, political unstablity and COVID are to be blamed for the bad economic conditions of Pakistan and Srilanka. Bangladesh is in a far better situation than the latter.

Why would IMF ask these countries to legally accept cryptocurrency. IMF would want these countries to come up with a framework on how to counter crypto adoption. None of the financial institutions support or want crypto. They are only looking for ways to make money out of cryptocurrency without being part of it.

Shubman Gill has been an outstanding player for GT. After his first century in IPL, this batter has proven that he can play easily in all formats of cricket. No doubt he is a great asset for the Indian team.

I only fear that fame and name don't get into his head. In the past, we have seen batters like KL Rahul struggling after getting the stardom.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami, two great bowlers, had their best day in yesterday's match. While Bhuvi got five wickets, Shami took his 23rd wicket this season. He is now one of the contenders for the Purple Cap, competing with Rashid Khan.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST TIMEZONE FOR SPORTsBETTING on: May 15, 2023, 04:46:01 AM
I am not sure what timezone has to do with sports betting. Sports betting depends on the game you like and your understanding about the events associated with that game. Majority bet on soccer and most of those matches happen in Europe or South American countries. They both have different timezone. For someone betting on soccer matches, has to follow both the timezone.

I don't follow soccer but I follow cricket and every game happens keeping in mind the timezone of South Asian countries, which is good for me as I reside in one of those countries.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 15, 2023, 04:39:33 AM
What a disaster for RR! They were all bowled out for just 56 runs. A target of 171 was good to chase, and my expectation was that RR would be able to chase it. I never thought that the complete batting lineup of RR would collapse. Except for Shimron Hetmyer and Joe Root, all their batters were either out for a duck or with single digits.

The Rinku Singh era has started, as in every game of KKR this season in the IPL, he has shown his efforts. When the KKR batters were struggling, he and the captain formed a partnership. They both were the reason why KKR won so comfortably against the powerful CSK team.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 15, 2023, 04:24:43 AM
Disappointed with the performance from Ireland. Despite having the home advantage, they lost the series 2-0 (with the first match washed out as a result of rain). All of their main players were available for this series, so there can be no excuse related to player availability. Batting was OK, with Paul Stirling, Andy Balbirnie, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker scoring decently. But bowling was a big let down. Josh Little was expensive and could not take wickets, while Graham Hume leaked runs. Only Mark Adair was consistent as far as pace bowling is considered. And in the spin department, both Andy McBrine and George Dockrell failed miserably.

I am not dissapointed I am happy that they cam so close to level the series after a disastrous performance in the previous match. They are still building thier team and hopefully in couple of years they will become a good one. I was disappointed with Bangladesh team playing the match casually. Although they won the match and the series they should have won it with a big margin.
