Maybe it had to do with his new(bee) account or maybe his account cached the Dash ANN title incorrectly somehow. It continued for a few of his posts and then fell back to the correct Dash ANN title in a later post. To conclude, people directly quoting Icey's posts by pressing the quote button can : A : spread the trolling of our Dash ANN forum title, if and when Icey changed it B : seems to cause other posters who are not quoting Icey, to unknowingly cache and use that trolling Dash ANN title for a few new posts All in all two good reasons to stop directly quoting Icey's posts (sorry Icey  ) |

also proclaims that users can “buy Petros conveniently from [their] device, with Bitcoins, Litecoins and Dash”, and “pay for goods and services in Petros”. The Petro has had limited details released and many of the facts keep changing, such as how many used to believe that the Petro was based on NEM or ETH,
but it was later revealed to be “a blatant Dash clone”. However, rather than appealing to cryptocurrencies’ soundness in code as a backing asset, the Petro appeals to
being “backed by part of the Venezuelan State’s natural reserves”. Additionally, there are still many uncertainties about what the Petro is actually worth. The Venezuelan
government has supposedly pegged their sovereign bolivar so that “as a ‘unit of account’ the Petro’s value is to be of 9,000 sovereign bolivars”, according to their central

I read news some months ago, maybe in the early weeks of 2019, that DASH and Litecoin have partnered (I could be wrong), and been on the race to increase better private transactions.
I have heard nothing about a possible partnership and frankly it would surprise me as Dash and Litecoin are (to a degree) competing crypto projects with regards to payments. What i could see happening is that Litecoin at some point introduce a form of privacy on their blockchain, but that could take awhile as from a development point of view Litecoin became rather stagnant (not much happening code-wise and no major changes after Lightning Network got implemented on their blockchain awhile back). With the latest wave of shutdowns on Mixer services, from Best Mixer (already seized), to Bit Blender (is shutting down after official announcement from their team), I am curious on the way DASH can take advantage of it and become bigger as one of the best altcoins. I meant the coming improvements on DASH Private Send and deals with harsh managenements from governments globally. I don't think all people whom want to have anonymous transactions are all criminals.  At the one side you have people's right on privacy both on internet and on their financial transactions, which i think is regnoniced and acknowledged by most countries and which has become a hot topic lately due to huge customer data leakages by major tech companies, creditcard companies and by government institutions themself due to weak security. On the other side you have governments that want to prioritize fighting illegal money streams or simply seek more control or insight. Those two sides have been clashing with each other for a long time and this clashing will not end anytime soon. With cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and even Bitcoin actively researching their options to include some form of privacy on their specific blockchain, it will be interesting to see how this clash further develops. Miners signal sufficient support for v0.14.0 on the hourly graph today, making it more likely that DIP8 can be locked-in at the end of the current 4032 block / 7 days window (which will be ending with block 1,080,576). Number of blocks to go before possible DIP8 lock-in : 3,028  Note : hourly graph still subject to strong fluctuations, but things should clear up in a few days Masternodes should have sufficient support for v0.14.0 by the time DIP8 activates to enable Dash to also activate some v0.14.0 related sporks. I believe in DASH and this version,
but it takes time for us to see failures of coming 51%-attack-efforts on DASH network.
I think a lot of attack vectors have been tried out on ChainLocks on Testnet, to battle-harden it. But the conditions between Testnet and Mainnet are different, as are the number of users. So i agree with you that it could take some time to see if ChainLocks has found and closed any attack vector. Also it will take time to get ChainLocks activated, as it involves getting 80% of the miners support and a large percentage of the masternode owners support.
