I didn't know you could create widgets with wolfram, that's really neat. So if 250 th worth of ASICs were released today , it would take about 40h to chomp through 2000 blocks.
1542  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Who is turning off? on: November 30, 2012, 01:30:05 AM
Turning off my single 7970 miner, leaving on my dual 7970 miner. Fpgas still running of course.
1543  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The next difficulty on: November 29, 2012, 04:29:27 AM
BFL isn't shipping any new FPGAs and lots of GPU miners are going to be shutting down their rigs. difficulty certainly isn't going to rise.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to switch my gpu's on: November 29, 2012, 04:26:53 AM
I'd hate to destroy my 7970s with LTC mining. They've been mining bitcoin undervolted and downclocked for 7 months with no issues at all. Time to start gaming again...
1545  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: [Poll] When will block reward half? on: November 29, 2012, 04:24:24 AM
BTCGuild got the last 50btc block and slush got the first 25btcblock. Looks like majority of voters got it right. So now it's time to shut down my GPU miners.

Is it the 16gb wifi version? I'd be willing to pay retail price in bitcoin.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transfer My Bitcoin from slow computer to faster computer on: November 27, 2012, 08:56:15 PM
Once the folder is copied you will need to run bitcoind with the command line switch -loadblock to load the backed up dat files. Otherwise you will be waiting a while for the blockchain to re download.

They should provide a receipt upon donation.
1550  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTT] Breastmilk for Bitcoins - .13 BTC per ounce on: November 26, 2012, 07:26:17 AM

I'm not going to lie, I think about that skit every time my wife adds more "breast milks" to the collection.

odolvlobo is a much better man than me. He's offered me 10 BTC to donate 100+ oz to a local charity and I think I'm going to take him up on it. I really appreciate that offer and I want to thank him for being so generous. Neocate is expensive!

Also, I checked out onlythebreast.com and I have to say, some of those women are much better at marketing this stuff than me. If I had titled the post "I want to share my wife's rich, creamy breast milk with you", I wonder if I would have gotten more offers?

1552  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Raspberry pi usb device limitation? on: November 25, 2012, 09:14:53 PM
Bridging polyfuses may not be necessary with later revisions, unless input amperage needs to be raised.

As of the end of August 2012 some users were reporting that newly arrived PI's were fitted with 0 Ohm resistors for the USB polyfuses F1 & F2, and Liz of the RPF foundation confirmed that it was official RPF policy to remove the offending fuses. However F3 still limits the total input current to about 1A.

Have any left? I'll take one for $45
1554  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] New Wii U Deluxe 32GB Black, Extra controller set, 2 games. on: November 25, 2012, 07:55:20 AM
There were 5 Wii U's in the display case at my local ToysRus today. I don't think these are as hard to come by as the original Wiis. With that said, you can't expect him to sell below retail. Retail plus sales tax paid is fair.

Ladies and Gentlemen.... Welcome to the free market.
Yep, now if only there were more mothers using bitcoin... My wife still doesn't understand how I've been making money with my graphics cards over the past year. Help me prove to her that bitcoin is a viable currency by purchasing her surplus breast milk!
1558  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTT] Breastmilk for Bitcoins - .13 BTC per ounce on: November 24, 2012, 02:34:09 PM
Bitcoin forums are obviously the wrong demographic but this stuff is liquid gold. There's just no place I can sell it. Figured I'd give it a shot.
1559  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTT] Breastmilk for Bitcoins - .13 BTC per ounce on: November 24, 2012, 03:29:00 AM
Is there an option to take delivery in person?

Haha, price is going to go up.
1560  Economy / Goods / [WTT] Breastmilk for Bitcoins - .13 BTC per ounce on: November 24, 2012, 03:17:09 AM
Large quantities of healthy breastmilk available. Unfortunately, my newborn son has extreme food allergies, forcing us to put him on a prescription amino acid formula. Our hope is that he will outgrow his allergies and be able to return to breastmilk in a few months. In the meantime, my wife is pumping and we have a bit of an overflow in our freezer.

I would prefer to sell to someone who will be feeding to their child, but if you are buying to make icecream, I won't judge you.
