There a way to OC these?
Clock rate is a parameter but I haven't noticed any difference between 290 and 300. I will post more testing results with production units tonight.

I'm sold out of power adapters. All orders will still receive a barrel connector.

DHL rescheduled my delivery to Wednesday, I'm assuming because of holiday delays. Regardless, I'm still committed to shipping out the first orders tomorrow.

All orders placed by midnight will be shipped tomorrow or compensated for a day of lost mining.

All units are being delivered to my shipping agent today. I have a limited stock of R-Box units and they can not be held, unfortunately. Orders will be first come first serve.

Also, I have already given one power adapter away to the first buyer, but I do have 4 more. If you would like me to add one to your shipment, just add $7 to your payment.

Rockminer cgminer customization is out on github for those who wish to build their own binary:
https://github.com/rockminerinc/cgminer-for-R-BOX

Assuming a limited amount of programming savviness, how difficult is it to install and run the custom cgminer on a win7 machine?  Or using a r-pi?

Building cgminer on Windows isn't the easiest task but it is relatively simple on a Linux based machine like the r-pi. For Windows users, I will provide a pre-built cgminer release until someone integrates the code into the main branch.

In other words, it's pretty easy with the pre-built cgminer release. Just copy down the executable and run it like you would run a normal cgminer instance.

I'd like to order at least one of these, do you only accept bitcoin for payment?  I've been having issues with purchasing bitcoins via Coinbase recently.

Yes, I will take Paypal payment for the rbox.

I will be ordering at least 1 of these, maybe more!

If you are accepting PayPal, are there any other fees to add on to the payment?  Also, since it is priced in USD, what is the btc/USD exchange you use?  The one at payment sending time?

Add 3 percent for Paypal's payment fee. Go by coinbase rate for bitcoin payments.

My batch has arrived in the US but will not make it to me until Tuesday due to Memorial Day. I'll start shipping units out Wednesday.

Any videos showing it operating and showing how quiet it is? That may help you sell some more units.

I will post a video once I receive production units within the next few days.

This design is pretty lame considering the hash power one requires these days. What a mess to get up to a THASH of these.

The hash power one "requires" these days is pretty subjective. While you may require 1th, someone just getting acquainted with bitcoin mining may be fine with running a single block erupter usb or ANTMiner U2. If they are looking for a little more, their options are pretty limited. They can go grab a 10gh jalepeno from BFL for $250 at 80-100 watts. Or they can find an old Little single or chili miner for $70-$150 and around 200 watts consumption.

What I'm selling here is a near silent 35gh miner that draws around 42 watts.

When will the units arrive from China?
Hopefully by Saturday. If not, then Next Tuesday.

you got 42.8 watts on a k-watt meter  .

 two questions:

1)  were you using a brick or a psu?

2)   what was the gear hashing at?  32gh  or 37gh?

bricks are 70% a plat psu is 90%        my point is   if that is the brick at 32gh  a plat psu will be 36watts

I was using a power brick. I'll test again when the production units and PSU adapters come in.
Average at poolside is 35 for the test unit.

Good deal, will have to wait a bit to get any of them, make lots of them so they hang around awhile Smiley
Wish S1 would be avail for years, perfect size HRate ect for low end users.
I am still using Ant U2 and a few BE's still hashing. This would beat 4 U2's so it is viable to me.

This chipset ASIC is reconized as a Ant U1 U2 or S1 uses "AMU" designator BErupters use ICA on my miner software (BFG).

So is this a single S2 chip ?

It's gen 3 ASICminer actually. There are 4 Next Gen BE ASICs on each board.

CrazyGuy,

can you send worldwide ?

or to be more specific, can you send to Brazil ?

if yes, how much is the shipping ?

Thank you.

Yes, I can ship worldwide if you pay the shipping costs. International orders will need to be for 4 or more units. Contact me for pricing.

By the way, I ordered a few of the 60 watt power supplies mentioned earlier and they work fine with the r-box. I'll include one PSU free for the first order.

The screen-shot above suggest that cgminer just "recognized" this device as an "AMU".
I would swear that was the identifier used for the original Asic Miner USB sticks. Is this
cgminer software any "special" for support of this, or did it "just work".

The screen-shot would suggest that it looks to the software like a "100x speed"
USB stick. Is that more or less correct?

Custom build of cgminer. I'm told the changes will be available for merge shortly.

Rockxie said that the price will be adjusted in the next few weeks.  Any idea if the price on your end will change as well?

Also, if it is a custom build of cgminer, can it be downloaded from somewhere to use a r-pi as a proxy like a cube?

I'm assuming you are referencing his May 11th post. At that time he was quoting me a $99 retail price, and the drop was to $89. I don't really think they can go much lower due to manufacturing costs. Regardless, I'll be following his pricing scheme.

Once RockMiner's custom code is published, cgminer devs should review and hopefully merge into to the main branch. Until then, you'll be able to pull the fork and build on the platform of your choice.

Can you try this firmware? Only the second board is having issues. Usually related to the CorePerf Mode = 75; this changes some of the settings on the board.

They sent me a firmware and after applying firmware, machine does not show up on network. Cannot reset it either. Almost feels like they did it on purpose. Worst experience of my life buying a product!

At least you got a response. I opened a support ticket 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. I tried calling them and they no longer answer the phone, requesting that customers email them. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with Cointerra's level of service. I now have a terrahasher that I can not safely run over power stepping 6. I'm under warranty and being completely ignored...

Let this be a warning to any buyers considering one of their discount 1.6 th/s machines. They degrade quickly and there is currently no way to get in touch with their customer service department.
