1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 06, 2017, 10:10:30 PM
there was a time when gambling with btc was easy bcoz btc price was around 400-500...

now at this high price, gambling means rekt

Nope, I believe gambling with BTC is still cheap, if you do not have money to gamble then do not gamble.  If a satoshi for you is way expensive then I think you should not gamble or avoid gambling at all.  You will end up with a debt if you continue this.  I said it because 1 satoshi is almost nothing but then you think it is expensive.  There is one reason why you said it, and I bet you knew it.  Grin

1542  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 06, 2017, 09:50:34 PM
the price riser more, the Chinese buyer more,it's a very strange behavior, not any rational consider
but some one still earn some money and the others lose a lots of their money

It is not a strange behavior, it is actually normal in trading world, if there is panic selling, the counterpart of it is panic buying due to FOMO (fear of missing out)

Some huge dumps are orchestrated by whales or group of people who wanted to crash bitcoin price for their own profitability.  They spread FUD, make a fake dump and these people who have weak faith or knowledge about Bitcoin will certainly  shaken and will sell their holdings in an instant.
1543  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 06, 2017, 09:30:53 PM
I guess it help since Bitcoin help elevate the life of every person, then having an improve of status of a country's citizen means the economy of a country is improving.  A country do consist of its people and when people's stash are filled in and their status improved, then the economy of that country will improve too.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: May 03, 2017, 04:18:51 PM
Investing is the best option than gambling, I think. Investment may provide a small but consistent profit and without affecting our emotions, profit will continue to be achieved. In gambling, to gain profit there must be at stake.

I agree, gambling will only give us uncertainty, since results may varies.  We may win now but lose a lot more tomorrow.  At least with an investment to a legit company, we are sure that we are winning even if the profit is only a percentage of our investment.  Profit is profit no one can deny that  Wink
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: May 03, 2017, 04:03:58 PM

1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: May 03, 2017, 03:29:28 PM
Thats really sounds good i gues japan is really having a great progress when it comes in money also no doubt we know that satoshi is a japanese i guess so no doubt it will be a success doing this also we will be also able to do a transaction in japan using our bitcoin 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵. And thats really a great new just keep it up and bitcoin will be the no. Currency that we will use all across the globe!

Bitcoin is really having a great progress in Japan.  Bitcoin users in their country would be happy buying and selling bitcoin because the government removed the consumption tax, meaning, people do not need to pay tax whenever they buy or sell bitcoins.  Aside from that the list of exchanges are booming in japan to since they think Bitcoin is another investment venture that can give them a huge profit. and that is good for Bitcoin economy.
1547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 03, 2017, 03:16:21 PM
Yep, at this pace, looks like OP's prediction is on its way with $1500 well in sight. The question is, with the inevitable ETF re-rejection coming May 15th, will we see a similar drop in price given we already pretty much know what the decision will be and then the question will be how long it will take for the price to correct back up over $1500 when it re-continues with the upward trend.

I do not think that bitcoin will drop in price if ever ETF review retain the decision of rejecting bitcoin ETF.  The first time ETF was rejected, it did not affect the price that much, it was the joint announcement of exchanges that drops the bitcoin price.  then came the 2nd etf rejection but surprisingly, the price keep increasing.  So I guess this next possible rejection won't cause a great effect of crashing the bitcoin price.  It is the bitcoin development in Japan that cause this increase in price.
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: May 03, 2017, 02:28:46 PM
40%-50% of people in the Earth were owned bitcoin by 2020. Because most of the people were still scared to scammed, they always thinking that online or digital transaction were scam especially to the old one. But I'm still hoping that most of the people in the Earth were accept the value of bitcoin.

I would like to disagree with your statement that by the year 2020 the number of bitcoin users out of the worlds total population will be that of 5 to 10% only. Saying that there will be 40% to 50% is very high and is very impossible to occur at that time of the year. But if we talk about 20 to 50 years from now possibly your computation may come true.

Nothing is impossible with the internet when it comes to propagation, advertisement and adoption.  Internet advertisement can reach almost all parts of the world.  Every single day, new people come in to bitcoin economy, so it would be possible that the growth of adoption would be exponential since each person that is into Bitcoin can influence two or more people to join him with his venture to bitcoin industry.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: May 03, 2017, 05:15:53 AM
I see that the more bitcoin the more users seen from the significantly increased bitcoin price increase, is this a sign that bitcoin will soon become the future virtual currency?

I do not think that Bitcoin will be the future currency, Bitcoin might be the one that opened the age for decentralized digital currency but I am sure Bitcoin will always be an alternative if it stays as is and had not been replaced by more advance cryptocurrency.  The government won't accept it but rather create their own currency.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: May 03, 2017, 03:13:43 AM
Not the thing of being risky its the thing that unders leglity issues that stopping other country to use bitcoin and totally banned and whipe it out of their country. Some thinks that this may lead to huge terrorism due to anonymous transactions

Most of this case is either lack of knowledge about bitcoin or paranoia.  We all know any thing can be used to support terrorist, even a minerals can be used to support it, so they should not blame Bitcoin and not support it due to the reason that it can be used to support terrorist activities, if that so then why not ban fiat money  since they too are being used to support this activity of terrorism.
1551  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 02, 2017, 11:46:55 PM
At today's current trend,  I would choose Bitcoin over gold as a store of value since bitcoin are really going up in price like crazy.  Aside from that, the users that are involved to bitcoin today is just some percentage of world population.  So certainly when an exponential growth in adoption is done, we can observe and exponential increase in price of Bitcoin.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 02, 2017, 11:33:19 PM
to be honest i do not see any altcoins surpassing bitcoin even with the current high transaction fees, those wont slow down its growth as it drifts
away from all other alts wit potential of passing btc.
Altcoins are already better than bitcoin, at least technicalwise. It is only natural because they can be upgraded easly.
Bitcoin is  so big and old that I would be surprised if we will ever see any form of on-chain scaling update.
With no upgrade we can forget to use bitcoin in everyday life, it rather would be never used asset used as store value tool.

I agree, technology wise, Bitcoin is left behind.  there are altcoins that are far more superior in terms of  technology.  The only reason why Bitcoin is getting the upperhand is that Bitcoin is the first mover to decentralized currency and have been so popular that the community it build is so big for other altcoins.  Aside from that Bitcoin is years older than the current competing currency that is why Bitcoin seems hard to compete with.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 11:13:47 PM
Just in order to get rid of the borders blocking the money transfer internationally. This is one reason why people should use bitcoin.  Wink

Tax evasion or sending money to another country with bitcoin is something that happened a lot in china and russia. But at this moment there are plenty of other use cases.
Payment for goods to name 1.

Sending transaction to different part of the world without banks intervention.  Well if they look at it as money laundering that is kinda problem Though it can be fixed by declaring stuff like payment for service and such and pay for the allocated tax for that transaction.  Another thing is, using bitcoin can promote it propagation of adoption since it gives awareness to people.
1554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 02, 2017, 10:45:18 PM
I think Bitcoin will get stronger this 2017, now that Bitcoin had give way to smart contract apps, it will capture the market of ETH.  Aside from that due to the news of adoption, its price will increase exponentially.  AML and KYW might be strenthen to those exchange platform that recognize Bitcoin as currency but it will  give a positive effect to Bitcoin when it come to trust.
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 02, 2017, 09:35:18 PM
Now you lneed to learn basics of trading and gamble with money which you can afford to lose.Later try investing with little bucks Roll Eyes
Trading can be a way to get some profits but not gambling, gambling is a way to get some fun and nothing more if you see it as a way to make money I guarantee you, you are going to lose a lot of money since what you said is simply not true.

Trading is by no way a way to get steady income. If you want a steady income develop or create a service and keep expanding it.
Making a bitcoin/altcoin monitoring service for example.

I agree trading is not a good way to get a steady income.  We all know that a market keeps on fluctuating so the earning we have to day may probably a lost we have tomorrow.  To have a steady income, just find yourself a job that will pay you either in from of fiat money or in Bitcoin.  There is no other way than having a job for stable income.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: May 02, 2017, 08:47:07 PM
Who's to blame for that, I guess it is not the progressing technology should be blame, instead blames are all to the parents or guardians for failure to do their job in monitoring their kids.
Nonsense. You can't control and monitor kids 24 hours/day 7 days week, that would make you bad parent and kids will probably hate you. You can guide them and teach them what is good and what is bad. It's only up to them if they want to take advice and guidelines or not.

I wonder if monitoring Kids make us a bad parent.  It seems in your case, it is bad parenthood.  So what is good parenthood then?  Letting kids do their own things?  There is an ordinance in my country where parents were the one to be punished once their kids were caught roaming around the street after curfew hours.  This only mean that this kids are parents responsibility.  Sometime parents need to punish kids or ground them or even monitor them to make sure these kids are growing according to the value they wanted this kids to learn.  So being responsible parents, we should implement stuff that our kids will take our advice because it is for their own good but not to the point of abusing their rights.

As for the online gambling, we can setup limiter in our pc's so that minors won't have access to gambling sites .  It is better than monitoring them 24/7 while they are using pc.
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 anyone? on: May 01, 2017, 11:03:14 PM
2000$ will for sure happen.
The question is if we will see 10000$ soon
You can speculate as much as you want but in order to speculate you need to have some realistic chances,if the SEC approves ETF next month then we would see a good rally and with the price at an all time high ,i think a good couple of trading days could take the price closer to $2000 and if the ETF is approved then the growth of price will be immense.

I believe SEC approval of ETF will boost the price of BTC since new funds will come in, and then the other one that was rejected would also be reviewed and more likely with the same outcome.   Aside from that I read there is really a development of Bitcoin coming in this June.  This might boost bitcoin and even capture some of ETH markets.  And if ever this bull run continue, we can see $2000 in much earlier time.
1558  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: May 01, 2017, 10:24:06 PM
Just month and a half passed and we see 1300+$ price again  Smiley I expect bitcoin will just continue it's growth and the next point is going to be 1500$!

I hope it will continue to rise upto $2000 this year.  But there are still factors that keep it lagging in price increase and that is the scalability.  I hope both the developers camp will eventually have an agreement to fix bitcoin scalability issue.   Instead of throwing accusations, why not have a talk about the possible combination of their proposals.
1559  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 01, 2017, 10:07:21 PM
I will not pressurized my kids to learn about bitcoin at that early stage and I will ask them to have concentrate on studies and have fun in their childhood days instead of getting them into money matters.

That would be a great decision, build the kids educational foundation first to make them more effective during their working years.  Introducing Bitcoin to kids is good but telling them to focus on earning Bitcoin is another thing.  Making them know bitcoin so that they won't be ignorant is a good thing but never force them int Bitcoin because it will greatly affect their education and future.
1560  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 01, 2017, 09:49:44 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will be used by almost everyone in such a short span of time as very few people are aware about bitcoins even today and I don't think that bitcoin will reach to each and every person in such a quick time.
That's right as there are still many countries that have not even heard about bitcoins and we cannot expect that people from poor countries who don't have access to internet and electricity will start using bitcoin in future.

I also think the same, that bitcoin will not be used by almost everyone in 2022.  It is because, there are lots of area that have no internet access.  That alone limits the people to access or use bitcoin.  If it is declared that 90% of the globe have internet access, the possibly I agree that almost everyone "online" will be using bitcoin by 2022.
