1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when being scammed on: July 23, 2018, 04:53:51 PM
I really don't get how so many people still fall for this! It's like the oldest scam in the book. If someone IRL asks you to give him $100 and promises to return $200, do you believe him? Of course not! So why would you believe this when someone does the same online?

Maybe it's an oldest form of Bitcoin scam but new people enter Bitcoin market everyday and 95% of them aren't aware of how Bitcoin works or what is it actually. I have seen several cases where investors are completely unaware what is Bitcoin, they only know it is some kind of investment which gives higher return in future. Scammers just make benefit of this tendency of people, they lure people with some cheesy lines or write such technical lines which fascinate the layman. Some professional scammers even give people returns 1 or 2 times but in the end, the greedy tendency of people fall to their prey and they lose all.
1542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Bitcoin wallet on: July 23, 2018, 04:17:34 PM

In android wallet you can see blockchain wallet and mycellium seems much secured than other wallets mate.

Blockchain.info mobile wallet is not independent wallet, it requires pairing from web version via QR code so I am not big fan of it. Whereas, Mycelium is single-handedly most efficient mobile wallet presently. It provides everything a person needs from Bitcoin wallet: multiple accounts, dynamic addresses, Seed, pvt keys, buying/selling within app, signing a message, cold storage, etc. The only drawback it has is its complexity. Mycelium is providing such huge bunch of features in few MBs of mobile wallet so it is little difficult to use certain features like making backup.

Electrum mobile wallet is also a good choice. A simple client wallet providing basic features and providing various versions of Bitcoin addresses like Single, Dynamic, Segwit, etc.

1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash? on: July 23, 2018, 03:45:37 PM
In my experience bitcoin cash is a fork of bitcoin even BCH is faster and cheaper to use due to larger blocks but still it'a seen that most of the people are using BTC than BCH so why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash?

I think people don't give much importance to features. If speed and security are the only parameters on determining best coin than there are hundreds out there better than both BCH and BTC in these aspects. The main reason why Bitcoin is still a step ahead of Bitcoin Cash is Originality and Authenticity.
There can only be one Monalisa drawn by Leonardo da Vinci, every other would be considered as replica no matter how better it is drawn. Same applies to Bitcoin too. Every forked coin from Bitcoin is just a replica of Bitcoin with some added features. There was, is and will always be only one Bitcoin and that is Bitcoin Core or BTC.

1548  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bribery collapse a nation? on: July 21, 2018, 03:36:08 PM
A politician in my country was able to purchase 275buses in my country for his party in his bid to win the national secretary but the same party is in power and hospitals admit patients without beds.So I ask, will this country continue to exist? Honestly ,am afraid for the future of this world due to the high corrupt activities.

What you are talking about isn't bribery, it is actually a case of corruption. Don't fear almost every government of every nation is corrupted. Government corruption could hinder the growth of country to some extent but it won't collapse the economy and nation completely. Now coming to bribery. Bribery could eat the nation from within just like parasite. What is nation? A conglomerate of people, right! And who takes bribe, again people/individuals of the nation. So when a part of nation is drowning it rather than building, slowly and gradually whole nation will collapse.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting with Cryptocurrency is growing in popularity on: July 19, 2018, 03:22:24 PM
Online gambling encroaches on the Chinese cryptocurrency market
According to an investigation into a Bitcoin-accepted online gambling platform, the amount of money wagered during the World Cup is 10 billion Yuan ($ 1.5 billion). In particular, the Chinese police have recovered 5 million Yuan, equivalent to $ 750,000 and $ 1.5 million worth of cryptocurrency.

As per my country's laws and most of the other countries, online betting is not illegal. So it is not a surprising fact that online betting has grown to such extent. However, one has to pay Windfall Gain tax or Casual Income tax on such incomes which is generally higher than normal rate of tax. So in order to escape such taxation, people have moved to crypto betting. And believe me, it is really fun to bet with cryptocurrencies. One can send any amount, play any odd, any number of times without worrying income tax or any other kind of regulations from government.

1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Which bounties are best? on: July 11, 2018, 03:43:04 PM
Hello guys,
I used to join most of the bounties (mostly Twitter and FB) till last year. But due to some work, I wasn't online here for 4-5 months. Now as I am back, I can see thousands of bounties and most of 'em can be recognized as shit ones in single glance. So here I am looking for some suggestions. Is there anybody who maintains list of best bounties or is there any thread on forum regarding this?
If not, please share your picks with me. It is really hard for me to find gems in the crowd.
1556  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you have a faucet roatator? Get paid now! on: July 02, 2018, 03:20:53 PM
It's not rotator, but faucet list - I listed your faucet on my Dogecoin faucet list:
http://www.bitcoins4free.ml/dogecoin-faucets/
Do I need to post my Doge address or Faucethub username?

Hey, Thanks for listing.
Yes, FaucetHub username would be better. Send me your FaucetHub username.

We have reduce claim time from 1 hour to 15 minutes meanwhile there is no reduction in claim amount. So now enjoy 4 times the previous reward.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik calls Tron a scam in interview on: June 27, 2018, 08:26:53 PM
“There’s projects that never had a soul, that are just like, ra-ra, price go up,” he flaps his long hands, “Lambo[rghini], vrromm, buybuybuy now!” Then he blurts, “I’ll just say it, Tron is a scam”, breaking the tension by laughing uproariously. Tron is a token whose market valuation hit $17bn without any discernible product.

http://www.cryptoscoop.io/2018/04/ethereums-vitalik-buterin-on-the-bitcoin-bubble-and-running-a-125bn-blockchain/

Thoughts this was interesting to read and I love Vitalik's attitude of being so direct.

What do you think? Thoughts? Comments?

Vitalik is one of my favorite person in crypto world. I love to read his Tweets, fearless speaker and a person who really cares about cryptocurrencies and their survival as utility than as investment. Now coming to TRON, every word of Vitalik is truth. Tron is nothing but an excessively aggressively promoted coin. Dev of the coin always try to make pump from opportunities, he was never a serious guy! For example, game called Crypto Kitties went viral few months back, he tried to make pump from opportunity and announced similar game involving Dogs using TRX, God knows if that game ever released. I have written about my experience with TRON few week ago, quoted below:

I am interested in opinions. I believe it could go up 50 percent regardless of market conditions!
I am not fond of the coin but I see an opportunity!

I am following TRON from last 6 months, I bought for the first time @ 250 sats and there after hundred of times at different prices (selling high, buying low). I even hold when it was 2K sats, I even saw it falling 70%. In my views, TRON is over-ambitious project especially the statements made by DEV aren't sensible enough that a leader of any project should make. Most of the time, he is just making unwanted buzz to pump coin. Currently it is near 950 sats, based on my previous experiences with TRON, I can say most of the times it doesn't show expected rise from such news, only thing which could help it grow is whale driving price.  Grin
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IVY FACILITATING SECURE, TRANSPARENT BUSINESS PAYMENTS GLOBALLY. on: June 27, 2018, 08:00:57 PM
This project is really a promising one. It would be nice to have an alternative way to do transactions which is more secure and anonymous. On the same note, project has integrated the use of IVYA token very smartly. Usually projects issue tokens just for ICO purposes with zero utility in project and later on tokens dump. But same is not the case with IVYA which will make it promising investment for future.
I have one doubt though, I want to know what is the universal applicability of IVY Platform. Like I live in India and here we use INR as currency. So is it possible that other person who live in US sends me USD and I receive INR in my bank? Such service is available on PayPal.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 27, 2018, 07:49:15 PM
Germany just didn't deserve to go through. No passion or enthusiasm from them. They just didn't seem to want it enough. Fair play to Mexico though who despite getting a 3-0 drubbing from Sweden deserved to top the group. I think we could see an outsider take the trophy this year as none of the big four have impressed me consistently. Columbia and Croatia have been the better teams so maybe it could be one of them. Let's see how they compete when they start to meet the big boys in the quarters and onwards though.

Germany's game looked pale right from their first encounter with Mexico. They were very less on energy, no enthusiasm, no lust for title, henceforth they demolished. However, I don't agree with you on winner. Though big names are so far failed to impress with their performance but teams like Belgium and England have shown their capabilities. Both of the teams are sure contestants for Quarter Finals. About title claimer, my bid is still with Argentina. Although team's performance so far wasn't the one that shows them as a contender. But its only a matter of win. A single win is enough to bring back positive vibrations and Argentina team is good one, all they require is a confidence which they got already from last game.

Football is a simple game - 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans no longer always win  Cheesy
