1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Are all BTC addresses really unique? on: November 04, 2019, 10:40:12 AM
Okay, I get it that chances are nonexistent that it will ever happen to me personally that I will have an address which is the same as another one, but at some point EVER there will be 2 persons with the same BTC address. Whether it is now or in 10 years, it will happen some time.

That's assuming people still exist then Smiley

The question is not "Whether it is now or in 10 years" but more like "Whether it is now or in 10 billion years" (give or take a couple orders of magnitude)

The equation where x = ∞ and y = the number of users creating x amount of addresses will only make it possible for the graph to dissolve this situation into an issue where people may face a 'collision' to each other. But there are chances you may get your seeds or phrases randomly guessed by someone and a person who is intentionally doing it, gets lucky some day.
1562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to accept in countries on: November 01, 2019, 12:10:32 PM
You don't know why US SEC is doing it. They are trying to delay the big blast off the price when they allow even a single ETF because the accumulation phase is still ongoing and prices need to remain both stable and cheap to impress SEC for their state of described time. About the countries, G20 had already discussed measures to be taken to prevent crime being done through crypto and appreciate Blockchain. If they are accepting the technology, they will understand that the need to accept Bitcoins is more important than that because Bitcoin is the reason why Blockchain came into limelight.
1563  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 31, 2019, 01:27:07 PM
After watching YOSHIE, I think that alt of many users are going to get busted and these users will get a punishment for ever. I wish to thank Cryptotalk and esp. Yobit for their signature campaign, it really brought a big change by having a lot of spammers being kicked out not from this campaign alone but many other campaigns because I think that all the campaign managers will appreciate Yahoo and the community's hard work in stopping spam and will never give a chance to those banned from this campaign.

I reported Dewi Aries to Yahoo for the reason of shitposting. If content is not understandable from its poster, then how will we understand it? Please visit their post history and share your opinion if this user should be paid for their posts or not.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site on: October 31, 2019, 05:33:46 AM
If you want to do dice, then:
- Bustadice
- Bitsler

Both are my favorite and there are a lot of competitions carried on every day at Bitsler for which I like them.

If it is about sports betting, then in no doubts I can suggest you to go straight away to Sportsbet.io

While you can gamble on sports, you can also get a lot of contests with too many rewards including the first bet x3 free bet welcome offer. You need to make a bet of exactly 2 mBTC to get a free 6 mBTC bet added to your account in around 48 hours after your bet has concluded. PM me if you have not registered there, I will share my link, be my referral and get 50% back of whatever I earn there through you.
1565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you believe that this dice is real? on: October 31, 2019, 05:19:48 AM
It's not surprising that people are betting like that. If they think they can afford that, then why not right? There are more high rollers in other BTC gambling sites, you might be surprised in how much people have the capacity to do that. Maybe if you have stacks of BTC, you would do that too. Lol.

Read this thread for more info about Yobit. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1872158.0

I have already read that thread before and I think that everyone there is biased while giving any opinion about whether Yobit dice is provably fair or not, but if I ever get lucky and have a big BTC stack, I'd prefer more transparent sites like Primedice, Windice, Bitsler and more which will allow me to look and change the seed I'll be playing with, which will let me check the secret seed after 24 hours like in PD, which will let me check my bets through a provably fair method provided on the site, rather than going on Yobit and playing with these huge amounts when I'm not even sure what seed I'm playing with.
1566  Economy / Gambling / Can you believe that this dice is real? on: October 31, 2019, 01:46:09 AM

Watching the image above, I hope you have already got a glimpse of what I'm going to talk about - Yobit dice. Yes, while browsing different sections of the exchange, I decided to visit the dice part of exchange and what I saw was completely unbelievable. I am shocked to see such enormous amounts in BTC [yeah, all those bets are in BTC] are being played over Yobit dice while we cannot even search for the provably fair part of the played games or 'bets' specifically. Alike me, I think you will also be shocked if you visit that part of the exchange and see it yourself. Do you believe what you see there is true? Do you think there are are real players sending those big bets or is it just a big show from Yobit to lure us to play their dice game?
1567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any apps on Android for trading cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2019, 03:18:40 PM
Yes, you can have binance, bitmax, huobi, hotbit, kucoin and many more exchanges available on Android but not all of them can be found on play store. You need to visit some exchanges to download their apps as some exchanges don't have their apps available on play store.
1568  Economy / Auctions / Re: Signature space - Global Moderator - 5900+ posts - min. bid 0.02 BTC on: October 30, 2019, 09:21:02 AM
How many posts do you typically make monthly?
Is there any guarantee on said amount

No guarantees in terms of number posts. I've stopped keeping track of the average number recently so I don't feel comfortable throwing out a random number.

If we talk about your track record, it is painted down:
- 14 posts in August '19
- 16 posts in September '19
- 13 posts in October '19 and counting

I think if you want someone to make a bid here, you need to lower down your starting bid and increments taking into account the activity that you have shown during the last 3 months because advertisers look for activity rather than total number of posts that you have as wherever you have posted might have turned into a megaspam thread where uncountable number of shitposts are already made. So a promise to make x number of posts during a specified period based on your convenience will expose you to more better offers than getting nothing right now.
1569  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: October 28, 2019, 04:35:38 PM
Oh you mean that supposedly famous meme from reddit about 16k by October? Next we'll be pulling out that other subreddit from that time traveller that ignores he's already wrong on several counts.

Does anyone else here think 20k twice in the space of 2 years, without an actual "crypto winter" having arrived would be too soon?

Are you guys tired of accumulating at low prices? Wink

Anything below $10k should be considered a discount and I think that those who have or have not purchased BTC, both type of people are not interested to keep it low for several reasons including the upcoming festivals in line and we always had a surprise gift during Nov-Dec session so I can count on BTC to be high during these months. However, about the dominance, the alts are currently taking rest because BTC is the showman right now. So it is better not to talk about dominance as it's not affecting the global longs and shorts which change the market sentiments every minute.

OP, this thread belongs to speculation because we are talking prices here.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Sportsbook with Instant withdraw and No KYC? on: October 26, 2019, 02:34:40 PM
I searched out and found an interesting guide over sportsbetting with BTC, give it a read and find yourself a suitable sportsbetting provider: https://smartbettingguide.com/crypto-sports-betting/
1571  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: October 26, 2019, 02:17:29 PM
... snip...

This is what even I am fighting for - bring down the number of participants but I already said that they are trying to create an army of shitposters, 'not everyone is considered a shitposter but many are in this campaign' to just fill the forum with garbage and earn a buck while Yobit gets the advertisement they want for cheap. They want fast advertisement instead of effective marketing and whoever is behind the campaign spending these big amounts, need to look for a better consultant in order to make the campaign spender understand that this is not how it will work. Even if not 60, 50 participants are enough with higher ranks and around 0.0005 BTC per post payment to each with Max 30-40 paid posts weekly is what I consider to be an effective way of marketing here. If 0.0005 BTC * 40 paid posts are there = 0.02 BTC per participant per week which means 0.08 BTC per month for that participant. Now, 0.08 BTC * 50 participants = 4 BTC. See how much BTC saved? And even if they go for double, meaning 100 participants, then max would be 8 BTC. And considering they hire Yahoo or Darkstar to manage this campaign as you proposed, I do not think there will be any shit quality posters allowed in this campaign and the exposure Cryptotalk will get through those 100 participants will be much more effective against the defamation that they are representing in front of us by doing what they are doing.
1572  Economy / Services / Re: 13,000 Tshirt Designs For Teespring and Merch For Amazon - $10k/Month potential on: October 25, 2019, 08:48:11 AM
I am interested in reviewing your service if your promo of giving 500 free sample designs is not over yet. I am a legendary user so I think I am eligible?  Tongue
How would you send them to me? Email, Telegram or anything else?
1573  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you stop SPAMMERS yourself, admins? #RaiseYourVoice on: October 25, 2019, 08:32:38 AM
Soft-Banning spammers automatically is a thing on other forums such as nulled, leakforums and a few others where leechers get banned if they don't contribute to the forum constructively and they stay banned till they do so.
This works fairly well for those forums where people post to collect freebies. Can you tell what algorithm should be used over here to prevent the spammers and auto soft-banning them, if you have something in mind?

Yes I have some ideas I'd like to share:
#   First, those one-liner spammers who spam a specific board needs to be taken care of by immediately getting banned from posting in that area, this will clear up around 20-30% of the actual spam happening on the forum.
#   Then, looking for those who post off-topic replies or beat dead horse or do necroposts needs to be done and banhammered. This will help to clear up around 50% of the shitposts happening in many equally important boards like gambling and altcoins but shit is spread there a lot compared to other boards. These 2 boards need to be taken carefully if we want our forum clean and tidy.

These ideas however won't work out till our mods and admins think over them and take any actions. Users are blaming me how I can think of these ideas but they are not getting my intention that, spammers who spam in a specific board should not be given a chance and should be temp-banned from writing or even visiting that area till they show any signs of improvements through contributing in other areas of the forum.
1574  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: October 25, 2019, 07:29:59 AM
You guys need to chill. Did 15 of you really need to post that the send btc button is not working? Don't ya think sending me a pm would have been the smarter option? Or would that kill a post for you?

The campaign had a 10btc budget for the 1st month, i've been checking the withdraws daily and knew the balance would run out today. I'm sure they will refill the balance by Monday, no need for every single participant to post their button isn't working.

That's how every user here is, IMPATIENT.
I had been facing the same issue since 8 hours already but didn't complain because we know that sometimes the pot becomes empty so we need to get it filled to drink the water again but these people were not patient enough that they showed their eagerness and some even had the intentions to start blaming Yobit again that they ran away without paying their participants again. I didn't visit the forum but after coming and seeing these 15 replies, it clearly defines how users of this campaign leave no chance behind to disgracefully insult Yobit and even expect payments for the same. /s

P.S.: Yahoo, please ask the Yobit Management to give you the authority at least to choose the boards and threads where posts will not be counted even if we post there, so we may continue to post there in our sole interest without getting worried about how it'd affect the campaign and funds as those will not be counted. And if possible, please don't count this post of mine to be paid as I've posted in a signature campaign thread.
1575  Economy / Reputation / Re: My thanks to all who have been helping with reports on: October 25, 2019, 02:41:16 AM
That's incredible, a very efficient way to say thank you to all the users who helped. Now, it's our turn to say Thank You Yahoo for keeping this forum clean with all your efforts and the mixed in efforts of the community as well. We all know we have been under the radar just because of that max post number as well as no restrictions on posting in any board, and I don't remember if I reported a user correctly or not but this treat to these users will definitely get many users showing extra activities in finding and reporting spammers 'though, we still don't expect anything in return and your appreciation is enough'. What you did is being witnessed for the first time at least from a manager's part and I salute to you for your way of appreciation you came up with.
1576  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 24, 2019, 10:25:21 AM
While these guys who are expecting 20k in a very near time, I would like to join my hands and request you to see and feel the difference BTC is making by going under $7500. Though it may look bearish to a lot of us and it is bearish normally which may end this surge rally to below $6500 before it hands itself up again. I wish those who are in the alts not to panic because we need BTC to stabilize at a decent value and if you sell your alts or BTC whatever you hold today 'except leverage positions', then you will regret later. It is looking high risk but I'd just stay away from the markets till I see an assured trade happening.
1577  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did I spam? Report me right now. #RMRN #RaiseYourVoice on: October 22, 2019, 08:16:25 AM
I would suggest to lay off creating new threads for your personal feelings, particularly in Meta. This ain't twitbook.

And read the rules pinned at the top of this board.

I am not trying to post anything related to my personal feelings but posting things in the right board, and if they did not belong to here, they might have been moved already by the mods.

...snip...

Remember "Only weak minds discuss people"

Neither am I discussing people, nor my personal feelings but a serious discussion about a serious topic.

If you cannot comply with the forums rules, specifically 13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours. and 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed., then maybe that signature shouldn't be a privilege for you.

Well, sorry about that bump. It was a stupidity from my end and I apologise for the same. It was actually made to catch everyone's attention to this thread as it had the subject alone and no content added before. Please show me the time line 'or time gap' which made you feel that I broke Rule 32.

The thing is I think you are a shit poster. Someone who talks a lot without actually adding any value to your posts. But hey I could be wrong,I barely know you and I apologize in advance if these words hurt you.

Thank you for your kind words and I'm not butthurt from them, it's your thinking about me. So I'm not going to take it at heart like I did before. Wink

OP, I don't know anything about you or how you post since I haven't checked your post history, but didn't you get booted from a campaign recently?  Is that what this is all about? The way I see it is if you didn't get banned, you can always improve your posts whether you think they need it or not.  And if I were you I would listen to the feedback you get here and elsewhere and not get defensive about it.

I don't remember exactly which campaign are you talking about, mate? I left Wolf bet, didn't get removed from any for the reason of spam and you can check that. Even if that would have been the case, I'd never ask anything in my favor even while knowing that I am right. Sorry if you felt that I defended myself while replying to you.

Quote
There's nothing worse than a member who doesn't realize the whole community thinks he's a shitposter and tries to fire back at criticism.  Again, I'm not saying that's the case with you but take any feedback to heart and use it to your advantage.

Thank you so much for your important message because you are one of my favorite posters that I admire to become one day. I will surely do as you said and use everyone's feedbacks to my advantage.

@ 2double0, knowing all the rules here, but that's not the case, @ 2double0 created this topic. to misunderstanding about spam answers.

This triggers the main problem: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194420.20

Emotion explodes, not controlled, maybe now @ 2double0 is aware, what is done because of emotions.

It was not an all-emotional dare but a dare to get everyone's attention and see who thinks what about me. Now, to what I have seen, many have found that I am not under the list of those ugly spammers and I will continue to do the best for the forum. This was actually a challenge to myself to see if I could get any warnings, reports or anything that could harm my account in a bad way. Was a 24 hour experiment, could have gone wrong but it didn't.
1578  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you stop SPAMMERS yourself, admins? #RaiseYourVoice on: October 22, 2019, 06:27:19 AM
You might took what I'm saying in the wrong way but I'm not in favor of the spam happening around the forum yet do we really need to ban them just to get rid of the spam? Don't we have a better way of removing it at the same time not removing the members' right to post on boards where they are interested in it? I know that most of these members are just posting to earn money and they aren't interested in the topic at all but does that mean that they don't deserve the chance to improve and act accordingly?

Well, give me a number of users or show me examples that how many of the users we are talking about, have actually shown any signs of improvement? Leave that part and tell me something,

HOW MANY CHANCES DO YOU WANT FROM THE FORUM?
WHY SHOULD YOU BE IGNORED AND LEFT IF YOU ARE CONTINUOUSLY POSTING SHIT AND DOING IT JUST TO GET YOUR SIGNATURE QUOTA REACHED?

The proposal I presented here, has been made taking a lot of things into consideration and one of them is that a user will be warned at extreme by being banned from posting in a board if he spams there. Tell me something man, if you have interest in something, will you talk shit about it? So the opposite goes as, if you talk shit about something, should I take it as you have a lot of interest and knowledge of that thing you are talking about? No. If you have interest in a board, you would rather contribute than making shit posts because then, there is no chance that you will spam. Spammers are those who don't know anything about the topic they are speaking on, but they just do the 'blah-blah' thing and continue doing it until they are sig-banned or permabanned from the forum. I think the best way to give them a chance is to stop them from spamming in those boards where they do it and warn them that if they continue to do it in other boards too, they will either get their sig banned or they will themselves get banned from the forum, while also giving an amount of days like 60-90-120 days (you guys decide) till the board ban is applicable and that's when you will be able to either improve or get kicked from the forum if you completely stop posting or don't improve and continue to spam.
1579  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 22, 2019, 06:08:05 AM
...snip...

I still think there should be a Merit restriction, either x total or y in the past 60 days, something like that. Would probably make your job significantly easier but I suppose that it's not your decision to make but Yobit's instead.

I don't think they care much about the requirements but they just want us to spread their signature around the forum. Looks like an army is being created by them no matter whatever the cost is, they will just pay anything to get attention of this forum's users to make their forum filled with the current participants as well as some more piece of the cake from this forum, and while saying all this, I have watched their forum and can say that there is no discipline amongst the users and they are born to post shit like even making 30 posts in just a day to get their quota reached to make those few Satoshis while working as a slave and keeping their forum bumped every few minutes.
1580  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you stop SPAMMERS yourself, admins? #RaiseYourVoice on: October 21, 2019, 09:32:50 AM
it seems it was just a misunderstanding and the issue has been resolved between the two of you and no one is actually accusing you of spamming, I guess it's time to lock or delete the thread you created.
link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194601.0

Why should I delete that thread? Are you scared to take part in it?  Tongue
His comment was not the only reason why I made that post, but there are several reasons. One of them is: I have always learnt that when we fight for something especially involving justice, we should never be partial to anybody and significantly ourselves ' you know you'd think that you're not criminal even if you've committed a crime because you are partial to yourself to save yourself'. I am not that type of person, if you believe I spammed and I deserve to be removed from the campaign or forum or get a signature ban and the only way you think, to get it done is 'Report to Moderator', do it instead of going my way.

For your convenience, I will be changing the content of OP of that thread so not to accuse UserU of anything in that thread but I'll not edit it here so we may have an example of misunderstanding and how it gets cleared.

Since you are specifically talking about posts in the gambling section it is important to mention that usually only BTC campaigns (casinos, sportsbooks) require users to post there.

I never targeted users specifically posting in gambling but used that board as an example to show how someone tries to spam in a specific area just to reach their minimum posts number.
