I use a tool to log my earnings at HashRefinery. Anyone interested in following my stats?
i saw your post and now mining nist5 and skein at HashRefinery I switched back to skein after a few coins on nist5 were dropped. And, how are your earnings coming along?

https://imgur.com/a/4Tum7FYI... Some of you probably know but those who don't... Nvidia see's that the card was used for mining.... won't be warranty... take care if you over/underclock. This is the first time since I started crypto mining that vendors and companies are refusing warranty work... Just to Vent.... None of this is illegal!!!!! There.... I'll shut my big yap! That's complete BS and totally illegal. I bought my GPU in the biggest computer store in the country. They too told me Nvidia could see that the card was used for mining. The seller claimed the Nvidia people could see how many hours a GPU had been running.

So I downloaded Ccminer and I started mining nist5. The stats page says I'm earning about 2,5 euro a day. That's nice.
So then I do a clean install of the NiceHash app. It says Lyra2v is the best algo... at 1,9 euro a day. Why is this?
Also, why is Nist5 not an algo listed in my NiceHash. I'm using a single 1080 Ti and it only gives a few algo's. Why is that? If you install NiceHash Legacy Miner 1.8.2 it has the Nist5 algorithm as an option to mine. There are some other additions as well, so it's very much worth the time to check it out. I'll try it, thanks. Edited: Why isn't x15, x13, quark, ... among the options? I've been using NH for weeks and weeks; I get the feeling that I might have been missing out on getting the best $$$ for my GPU/time. Is there a way to add more algo's manually? To the legacy version? To the nice folks at NH. Please answer my question. Why aren't x15, x13, quark, Nist5, .. and others included in the NH mining software when there are clearly pools for these algos at NiceHash? There isn't even a benchmark for the "missing" algos. Without a benchmark, how does the app know what algo is the most profitable one? The app always says lyra or equihash is the most profiting algo, when in reality, other algos earn me more at other pools. I get the feeling that you "want" me to mine equihash or lyra with my 1080 ti. Is this to supply the buyers? That reason might be more $$$ for you and less $$$ for me. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who still "trust" the NH app and "think" they are getting the max out of their GPU. I feel like my time got wasted using the NH app. Am I wrong? Thank you in advance for your replies? You are using the wrong version. Download and run NiceHash Legacy Miner, not the old version 1.7.# or whatever, nor the dumbed down NiceHash 2. With the Legacy miner you get all those other algorithms and it's by far the best version to use in my unhumble opinion. ---- https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMinerLegacy/releases I tried a few legacy versions, some algos aren't there. And even if they are, why use old legacy software? There's a reason why software is legacy, I guess? Why aren't the algos present in the latest version of the app? People are most likely to miss out on profits because the app is not showing/mining in the most profitable coin. I still get the feeling the people behing NH want us to mine whatever they need to supply the buyers.

Hello. Is DGB skein most profitable than SIGT for mining on a 1080ti ? Otherwise, what is the most profitable coin today to mine with this wonderful gpu ? I think signatum still most profitable today by using 1080ti, I also double checked again at whattomine.com, it is still first in the list. On HashRefinery skein and nist5 are still a bit better. Check it yourself. Whattomine has been discussed on this forum several times.. It's not always right.

will a small miner like me might earn more using nicehash instead of mining directly in pools?
no.

The most profitable mining for 1080 ti now is Skunk Nicehash paying minimum $5/day
5 a day per card? 5 USD = 4,25425106 EUR... I'm doing 6+ eur at hashrefinery. Skein and Nist 5. Edited: Oh yeah, 6 EUR = 7.05177 USD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdtKbq3OmkwCongratulations, from now on I will stop helping others on this forum. You're to blame. You just made my ignore list. Here's a final one. Eat your heart out. Grab a napkin homie, you just got served. How are you calculating the BTC/day on auto switching algos? The script modification ro show the eur/day was done by Fromage, the owner. Thats what you meant, right?

Can someone tell me whats the best Miner for Skein current ? Iam using Alexis, but a read that Sniffdogs should be better. But in fact its worse Is there a better miner for 1080ti out there ? SniffDog is a tool that switches miners. Alexis is a miner launched by SniffDog to mine. Why use anything else? Never had better hashrates than when using Alexis. And stable too. And it's optimised for 1080 ti by Fromage. Pls provide more accurate (tech) info. Thanks.

... testing Alexis giving me a profits which equals to hashrate, just over longer period of time.
Sure 'bout that? Normally its the pool that causes this.

hashrefinery = 86 total miners Zpool = 15,000 + total miners
and yet somehow hashrefinery is earning me more than zpool?

For me I'm keeping all standard PC parts inside case, and have risers pulled out and placed on top of case to have "closed/open-air case" Is there a reason to keep the "standard PC parts" inside a case? Just wondering.. Dust?

Also guys, keep in mind- founders edition card or "blower style" are good for compact PC or small form factor PC
They are good for nothing. If you have a small case, usage of FE inside of it will kill Video Card way faster than at usual rate. Yeah...mine are good for nothing, I should just throw them in the trash!! Nice cards. Wouldn't you be better off with an open frame rig?

Only mining skein and nist5 at hashrefinery atm.

I believe you for the roi , but not for the 8$ / day. whats the date of your ti buy ?
It changes... Again, the value of the BTC has to do with it too. Yesterday was only 7 euros, compared to the 7,9 anticipated. That's still good, right? 1080 Ti was bought on 21/06/17. Why?
