1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have 0.5 BTC how to make money in Investment. on: May 01, 2017, 08:02:56 PM
Don't invest it anywhere and keep them safe in your wallet as that will give you better returns in future when the price of bitcoins will go higher in future and there is a risk of loosing money when it comes to investing it anywhere.

What you told is the best option as Bitcoin buying itself is a big investment plan and you wanted to invest bitcoin in other that means it is full of risk, if you dont have any knowledge on trading then better buy bitcoins and keep it in wallet and save it, just like you are buying gold and keeping it in safe place as investment as in future you will get good returns for that.

It might be a good advice but there is a better way to increase our Bitcoin holding that is if we are willing to take the risk of losing them.  If you are good with trading, do trades, profit there is boundless.  ICO is a good choice too, any legit ICO can give us a good profit in a short span of time.  But make sure we do our own research about that iCO.
1562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: May 01, 2017, 07:35:06 PM
I preferred to store bitcoins in a secured online wallet,
and also storing them in various trusted online exchange websites. Smiley

They maybe trusted but there is nothing like securing your own bitcoin in you own local wallet.  They are easier access and you have full control of your bitcoin because you have a private key for it.  I secure mine in my local computer and printing out the private key for the purpose of backing up since we do not know when our local storage disk will give up.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins rising on: May 01, 2017, 05:47:24 AM
Can you send money "fiat-to-fiat" with Dash, LTC or ETH from India to Canada, for example, without high fees?

I'm sure people are working on projects this very moment to do that.  Do you really think it will be long?

I think the scaling debate is more than a little relevant.  It's the main reason why bitcoin is losing.
Some people are waking up and have urgency, but sadly not enough.  By the time price makes
the poor fundamentals clear of a non-scaling bitcoin, MAJOR damage will have been done.

stop this ridiculous no clue discussion. Bitcoin still works great and is very cheap to transfer money. and bitcoin is the only that have a real use in real economy.

Bitcoin fee would be high to those who want it for free.  There is no argument on that.

I think altcoins are getting more audience today.  They even form alliances to further develop their functionality, which is a good thing for cryptocurrency as a whole.  With this, it certainly creates hype and attract people to buy their altcoin.  And with a huge fund in their hand and a large percentage these developers are holding, there  is no doubt they can manipulate the market according to their likings.
1564  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: April 30, 2017, 11:40:08 PM
The reason behind panic selling is that people lack patience and they get panic when they see price going down and start selling their coins at cheaper price and I think that is the time when we should hold our coins tight and wait for the price to bounce back again but generally people doesn't follow this simple rule.

It is not the patience that triggers panic selling.  It is the lack of knowledge on what it is their holding.  Lack knowledge meand lack of faith, and lack of faith means easily get shaken when dumps occurs, may it valid or fake dump.  So the first move this people who lack faith is to sell their holdings the soonest the can.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 30, 2017, 10:20:21 PM
The best for me is that you have not to trust anyone, that you can transfer funds worldwide and that you can join the system without registering anywhere. If you want more opinions, just tell me.

You still need to trust the merchant if you are to buy goods.  Trusting no one is just a myth in my opinion.  Merchant do not need to trust the buyer but buyers do need to trust the merchant because he is the one sending his bitcoin payment first.

But people should use bitcoin because of the ease of transfer as long as we are paying the right amount of transaction fee.  I have my transaction getting its first confirmed in less than 10 min as long as I am paying the right fee.
1566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address - are there enough for us all? on: April 30, 2017, 09:39:19 PM
there is no problem with bitcoin addresses, the number is big enough for all of us. There is almost no chance to see the same address generated.

I agree, if ever the saturation level of bitcoin address is about to be met, developers will always find another way to add more to the Bitcoin address, adding an extra number or reducing it by a number would greatly increase BTC address capability.  So definitely it is not a problem at all.
1567  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 29, 2017, 11:48:39 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Someone did have to have a dream, where dreams can be achieved.
I also sometimes think of it, dream of getting rich with bitcoin.
because the business very promising bitcoin and already many people prove it.

If we do hard work, we can become rich from this Bitcoin. But we should choose the right way to make bitcoin. Gambling and investing on casino sites or trading these things will not help us to become rich. We have to set up one bitcoin business, and we can maintain that means one day we will become rich. Becasue the Bitcoin is the future of digital currency.

I agree hardwork couple with knacks and smart thinking will certainly give us an advantage over the other competitor.  Having this plus dedication will certainly make us successful in the long run.  I always believe that bitcoin is one of the tool for the less privileged to acquire wealth.
1568  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: April 29, 2017, 10:57:09 PM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?

I know it's been a while since this OP, but hopefully you're still monitoring the thread.

I don't understand your question. Are you asking how your friend was able to earn bitcoin or how people in general are able to earn bitcoin online?

Bitcoin is merely currency...and it can be earned in any way you can earn money. So whatever good or service you can provide others for payment, you just ask them to pay you in bitcoin! It's that easy!

I guess OP is wondering why his friends are having a good earning even though he know his friend don't have day job.  so he is wondering if and asuming that having an online job is the same as offline job as he stated.  And he is asking wheer does bitcoin came from.  Pretty much that is how I understand it Cheesy

I can say yes, working online is the same as working offline except for the fact that we are here sitting infront of our computers while working.  From our jobs we earn Bitcoin and convert it to fiat for our daily needs.  Though originaly Bitcoin came from mining, (it is a complex process where a machine solve a block and who ever solve it first gets the reward) but since not every one are mining, we get them by doing tasks that pay us bitcoin.
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2017, 10:07:53 PM
The person who dont like bitcoin is if they had any bad experience when they used to use bitcoin and have invested in any bad investment scheme and got cheated or else if anyone have cheated them with false commitment. Apart from that even if after knowing about the bitcoin features and its value they are avoiding is then the reason should be very big and we should know it and solve it because their is no reason which dont have any solutions.

I agree they are traumatized by the first time experience they had in bitcoins.  But I believe eventually they will come into their senses since they will realize that it was their greed and lack of knowledge about Bitcoin that made them lost a lot of money.   Just let them be for now, it takes time to heal.  And they will definitely come back when they have accepted the reason why they lost in bitcoin investment.
1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: April 29, 2017, 09:32:44 PM
It could attract some casual users. Many people know Bitcoin a bit, but never learned enough to use it. A Bitcoin shop with kind Staff could help.

But will it attract enough people who are willing to use the Bitcoin shop too? Won't using an online shop be the more comfortable solution?

A shop can do both.  Online or offline, it should be flexible.  And I agree it will attract more casual users.  It will also help in propagation of Bitcoin awareness since people will see Bitcoin Banners they used to see only in the internet.  More curious people will be attracted and will inquire about Bitcoin thus more possible users will be generated.
1571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: April 26, 2017, 09:04:07 PM
Bitcoin is deflationary, as long as demand stays the same, the coins will continue to rise in value. Thats why a deflationary currency is terrible for countries to run on..

The beauty of bitcoin is that the demand does not stay the same, rather it is increaseing, there is even a speculation of exponential growth of Bitcoin demand making bitcoin price to swell up to half a million dollar.  Kinda too much but it would be great if it happen.
1572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-e might have been compromised on: April 26, 2017, 12:12:53 PM
Unfortunately this security breaches happen all the time and this is just one more reminder that is not safe to keep your funds on exchangers unless for trading purposes. Exchangers are not meant to be wallets. People have to become more aware that they have to protect themselves and secure their funds.

But no matter how secured the password is, if the site data itself is compromised then there is nothing a user can do.  Hackers today are getting smarter and smarter being able to breach securities and steal data of bigger company.  Even Yahoo user data were compromised. So I guess we should keep most of our funds in our cold wallet.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: April 26, 2017, 11:33:12 AM
$33,449 market cap is $33,349 to high. This is nothing more than a hobby project.

So what if it is a hobby project, it still can succeed if the dev makes the right choices.

Sometimes, its best to invest in a market that is sleeping while its early. High volume in the making means its late and time for selling. Besides, most traders buy second hand coins during trends and thats how big profit comes in for early buyers.

I agree, some of the popular coins today were once sleeping and when accumulation is done, the price goes up in an instance.  One example would be ripple.  It was around 100+ satoshi a month ago and lookt at its price now.  Another one is NEM,  as long as the developer is not abandoning the project, there is always a possibility that the coin value will increase.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning developers already moving from BTC to LTC on: April 26, 2017, 11:20:25 AM
Seems LTC is getting much of attention,  I can see LTC rising in price once Segwit is activated.  Btw LN developers moved to LTC because it is where they can test the update once Segwit is activated.  That is the main reason why lightning developers are moving to LTC.
1575  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to run my Signature ??? on: April 26, 2017, 07:50:48 AM
The only real link you need is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

It provides an overview of all active campaigns and their status for slots for certain ranks.

He do need the basic rules of the forum, he won't perform in a signature campaign well if he does not know the rules both of the forum and signature campaign.  I am not giving the link here so he can use the search function of the forum.  Most of people here does not know the search function or too lazy to browse the site and just create a thread to find an answer to the thousand times answered question here in the forum.
1576  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to run my Signature ??? on: April 26, 2017, 07:36:37 AM
You posted this on bitcoin discussion, I guess you are talking about sign message , if yes then go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

I think it is signature campaign that he is interested.  He is asking how to monetize his signature space.

First you need to know the rules for the forum then know the rule of signature campaign.  You need this basic knowledge in order for you to be easily accepted or stay longer in a campaign and not to be kicked out.  But it seems your account is either bought or farmed, seems it was used to claim giveaway in  game and rounds.  Anyway if you are really interested and you are the new owner of the account, you must participate in the forum for sometimes until your post have proven that you can do quality post and not spam.
1577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one to buy? Stocks Houses Gold or Bitcoin or Bonds? on: April 25, 2017, 11:10:24 PM
A couple of BTC (20-100) is a good investment. But never put all eggs in one basket (BTC).
Diversity is key.

I traded some BTC against physical gold to lock-in some profits and rebalance my portfolio after the recent price rise.
Don't diversify too much. Focus on Bitcoin, there will be another global economic crisis, probably withing next 5 years.
Global economy hasn't been fixed at all, managers and banks never learned their lesson after 2008 crisis.
Soon bonds, stocks and fiat money could be totally worthless - only Bitcoin, a system which is not a part of official market will survive.

What made you think bonds, stocks and fiat money will be totally worthless?  Honestly there is more possibility that bitcoin will be the first one to be worthless once it does not solve its scalability issue.  But of course being bitcoin enthusiast, i will choose Bitcoin because of its uptrend price.  Hoping scalability issue fixed and political drama between two camps fades.
1578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: April 25, 2017, 10:47:15 PM
Well, the current price is very high. Maybe selling at this time will not make you disappointed, because the price of bitcoin is currently really very high. But, if you're a little patient, it's possible the bitcoin price will rise to over $ 1300. Well, but if you really need money, there's no harm in selling it right now.

It doesn't really make sense to wait with cashing out till the price goes to $1300 or slightly above that level. If you want to cash out right now at nearly $1280 then it would be wise to do so right now. If you wait too long, you'll risk seeing the price go down, and for what? It's just a $20-$30 difference. Difference is too insignificant to wait for. If you want to cash out profits, then do it right now, if not, then keep holding. It's not that difficult.

Same reason when it goes up, why risk selling it now when it will increase in a few weeks by $20 to $30.  So the decision depends on the holder, if he has a target price then it will be great if he can attain that target price when he encash.
1579  Economy / Speculation / Re: War is coming on: April 25, 2017, 09:20:11 PM
Trump is mental ill, and it's not me who say it, it is doctors specialist. Why do you guys keep to continue believing US medias ? Specially when you know they lie. I know what kind of shit they make you drink. Now you are in trouble with this guy, and believe it or not, he doesn't give a shit to the citizens. If you read the book "Manufacturing Consent" from Noam Chomsky, you won't watch TV anymore LOL... Good luck with Trump !

I think yes all this drama will have an impact on the bitcoin value. As well there is the french election currently wich can also make something to the bitcoin value, I know there are lot of people waiting this to see what's going to happen

Look the contradiction on your post. You believe the doctor "specialist" announced by the media as an irrefutable fact, but accuses who endorses Trump to be manipulated by the same media?

I know the big media lies, that is one of the reasons to endorse Trump and any other who has courage to challenge mainstream corporations and forces of this world. The internet is here to help us find informations the media doesn't say.

The old leftist attempt to intimidate people by saying "don't watch TV" doesn't work anymore, the information now is decentralized and it's on the internet.

The thing with the internet news which is good and bad is that there is no censorship nor verification if the article is true or not.  Lots of writers exaggerate to the point it even kills the articles purpose.  All they aim is to have a view in order for the site to be monetized.  Anyway,  I never believe trump ever endorse Bitcoin, and maybe war will happen, maybe not.  Let us just enjoy the peaceful days rather than terrorizing our mind with world war thought.
1580  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: April 25, 2017, 08:45:57 PM
When we are talking about "panic selling" we are thinking about BTC as an investment. Investing in crypto should be done with money that you can afford to lose (don't put your college money on it!  Grin). Therefore, you can accept temporary losses aiming for a greater valorization in the long run, and there is no need to "panic selling" your asset.
I don't get your point my dear, anyways panoc selling is part of all bitcoiners also in just new in bitcoin and doesn't what bitcoin is it but for sure until they kniw what bitcoin it is and "Panic Selling" i think they will not sell their bitcoin like me when i want newbei in bitcoin and i play trading i buy many and i don't what would i do so i just sell it
yes that is very right that those people who are new in trading and they do not have any experience in trading so they are more expected to start panic selling when the price start coming down, therefore i think it is too much important that the newbie should get some good experience in trading and after that they should try to invest money in bitcoin.

I think it is not experience in trading that is the reason why these people are dumping.  It is their faith to what they are holding.  Since they lack knowledge about Bitcoin, and their faith in it to go up in price is not established, they are shaken whenever a big dump is coming.  A new trader that is well knowledgeable about what he is holding will never dump his stash.  Besides, they are in for a long time and not do a day trade.
