1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 28, 2019, 04:47:13 AM
Here's my advice for you guys, maybe some of you find this effective because it does for me. During the days when I'm interested to altcoin the most, I manually write down the private key/recovery phrase of my wallet into a sheet of paper including all of the usernames and pw of my social media accounts (including this account as well) and then keep it inside my wallet. FYI, this is not the wallet I use everyday. I only stay it inside my room and use a purse instead every time I go outside. Through this, I was able to keep my accounts secured and also prevents me to overspend somehow since purse was small for storing large amount of money Grin. What a win-win situation, right?
1582  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: August 27, 2019, 09:10:31 AM
Why not? Crypto can be used by everyone, it is universal. Whether you came from a third world country or belong from the rich Westerners you can be a part of crypto world Smiley. However, there's a question in my mind which bothers me, "Is this what Africa need right now?". I mean, yeah blockchain tech would work on urban areas there but how about the rural ones? It was so sad if they won't have a chance to experience this technological breakthrough, right? If I will have the power to command,  I think Africa and all of the developing countries should deal withe the major problems of their country first. Aiming for high tech advancements is not bad but I hope they should give more attention to major issues like poverty, poor education, healthcare, crime prevention etc. They bandage is not the best solution to cure a wound, disinfecting does. (See the analogy?)

Main Card (ESPN)
Women's Strawweight:  Jéssica Andrade vs Weili Zhang
I don't think Andrade could defend her title against Zhang which is so ferocious. I know she is strong, no doubt about it but she is also slow that's why Rose easily burst her face during their last match. For me she's just quite lucky for knocking her down after her 2nd takedown Grin. It is very clear that Rose dominated their match, but that devastating takedown suddenly changed the game lol.

Well, she able to beat Rose so I think she deserve to be treated like a champ, period. Besides, she win in a clean and decent way so there's already nothing to talk about. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning her capabilities. I'm just getting a little bit skeptic that she can be able to hold her title for a very long time.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 27, 2019, 03:31:22 AM

You've mistaken their minimum withdrawal amount and withdrawal fee.
Oh! I'm so sorry my bad, I probably get hyped while typing that's why I post it right away without thinking it twice Grin.
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 26, 2019, 01:04:40 PM
Hmm, I'm not in the exact position to say this because I'm not yet an online gambler but I am an actual occasional gambler outside crypto world so I think it's still reasonable for me to join the discussion Smiley.

For me the secret of gambling is discipline, I always follow this core value not only when it comes to gambling and other things like buying. Yeah! Let's assume you are lucky or does have a good strategy which leads you to always winning but unfortunately you don't have self-control either on playing or spending your money in return. How can you save money which you supposed to use for uplifting your life? See? Without self-discipline all of your wealth might lose in a snap of a finger and go back to the ground. So learn know when to keep gambling or stop, know when to place high bets or low ones and lastly learn how to limit youreelf from the urge of getting everything ( Greed is natural but remember that too much might be destructive also).
1586  Local / Pamilihan / Re: E-sports betting using your bitcoin - DOTA on: August 26, 2019, 09:50:11 AM
I'll make it a reference for future purposes.

Indeed. Masasabi ko na mas nagimprove ang Dota sa SEA region and here in the Philippines to be more specific. Biro mo nakapasok ulit Mineski sa TI. Though TNC and Minesky fall only in the 10th and 12th place respectively, nanalo naman sila ng $686,268 Shocked.

Congrats sa OG, OF fans (like me but not that solid lol) and sa lahat ng winning bettors!
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: August 26, 2019, 04:56:04 AM
Honestly, I can't decide where I belong so I guess I stay in the middle. I am a hodler, though I don't have money as huge as the whales have but still I do long term investing. However, recently I withdraw more often not because I'm a "pump and dump" guy but because of emergency expenses. I am now the one who sustain my daily needs for my review so these things are inevitable.

But after I passed my exam and able to work, quarter of my first salary will go to my digital wallet for sure Grin.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 26, 2019, 02:04:50 AM
i think on fortunejack there is no withdraw fee ?
But sadly the most other casinos where iam playing have fixxed fees like 0.001 XD
Which casinos charges fees that high? Most casinos that I know charges fees lower than BTC.001
The gambling site I tried so far is windice. Their trasaction fee for every payout is at .0009+ which is very reasonable for me because my money got already transferred to my wallet just few minutes after. I don't know to your perspective if it's really good since I haven't tried other sites for comparison but I'm definitely satisfied with their service Smiley.

Ps: I'm not shilling.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's bitcoin worst case scenario if Libra will be successful? on: August 25, 2019, 06:40:57 AM
What can be the worst case when it comes to Libra and Bitcoin?
I am not sure either if this will greatly affect bitcoin, btc already survived so many trials before and I'm confident it wouldn't fall down from an "overrated" coin lol. Hmm, honestly I think the worst thing could happen is only that btc might lose a few investors or Libra fanatics might say things like "BTC is old, Libra is the new trend", "Libra is the new king blah blah" or other black propagandas. But other than that,  nothing too serious things will happen.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 25, 2019, 03:11:16 AM
It usually surprise me when I see investors complaining about a good project that didn't increase  or providing returns immediately it got listed on the exchange and they term it scam or say different things like rekted.
A person who is complaining or judging a particular project so easily is most probably a person who is not knowledgeable at all. There is another case wherein the investor's trust to the current projects as well to the upcoming ones is greatly affected already due to his bad experiences before. Once they get scammed or deceived in any form, their mindset changes.
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?
Hmm, I believe the majority will fall to the latter one. Well, you can't blame them because it's natural for an investor to earn on the shortest time possible. Like in business, of course business owners want to make profits as soon as possible in order to further maximize the ramaining resources and lessen the expenses. (e.g manpower etc.). Besides, it is very hard to believe to an uncertain thing. How sure you are that the project you believe in will succeed among the hundreds of projects who already existing in the market? You know what I mean Smiley.
1591  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 24, 2019, 11:50:33 PM

Maganda siya because we can see that their privacy and security features are improving but on the contrary medyo pangit din dahil hassle. I don't mind anyway Smiley.
1592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Weird bitcoin art propaganda on: August 24, 2019, 02:49:18 PM
Coll work of art Shocked. I hope you continue making posters with deeper meanings and also relevant to the current happenings in crypto world as much as possible.

But I warn you mate, sensitive Catholics out there might get triggered and bash you afterwards because you used His name in humorous manner. They might misinterpret it. I'm not scaring you, I'm just telling the possible things to happen Smiley. Nonetheless, great job and keep it up!
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 24, 2019, 01:02:10 PM
[snip]

I'd go for mBTC. Satoshi is having very low value now and I don't want it to become the unit in which the prices are denominated. But we need to create a name for mBTC, just like we have Satoshi. And we need to create a unique, short name. There have been proposals to rename mBTC as BitCent and BitPenny, but I don't like those names. Let's have something unique.
Guys why some of you are eager to change how we call bitcoin? Is really a big deal and an important thing to discussed with? Actually, for me, "bitcoin (btc)" was already okay enough. For me it doesn't really matter since converting of units are not so hard to do so Grin.
1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 24, 2019, 09:52:23 AM
Of course some might say that "isn't it obvious? To bet again and to win again" but this ain't the real thing, various reasons may come up for every individual. So let us put this into discussion.
Well, it depends. If I win a little bit from the bet I placed, I probably bet and push my luck once again but if I hit a One Time, Big Time then adios! to everyone! I'll now start living in Vegas Grin. But kidding aside, betting again is only the second thing which comes to my mind when I win because what comes first is buying. I'm daydreaming that I will buy these (Mavic Pro, Go Pro etc.), I will try that (investing on stocks, travel tour etc.) but unfortunately I end up saving the money I earned because that's still way too far to reach Lol.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 24, 2019, 08:30:06 AM
Howard was good with the Lakers, just based on his stats.

With the total 76 games, he averaged a double double, 17.1 pts and 12.4 rebounds, if he can contribute with that stats again, Lakers will be a tough team to beat.
Are these stats still significant? Nah sorry mate but I don't think so because. Why? He did such performance very long time ago where he is in his prime days, but remember, we are now living on 2019 — an era where skills are given and special talents are rare. Oops! By the way you forgot to put into consideration his stats on the remaining seasons up to now, here. And as you can see, his point average, assists and especially rebound (where he supposed to bw outstanding for having a tall height) diminished after years passed. Anyway, let's just hope that your "if" will become a reality despite the odds is not on his favor. I don't want to become pessimistic here but for me, we can't assure that he still play the same as before.

It's their best chance now because although the team USA is the favorites to win
Team USA seems the most favorite because most of huge NBA superstars are Americans. They are not called Dream Team for nothing, charisma and strength they possess makes them special among teams. But this year, honestly they are not my favorite. I am now getting more interested to the team which could beat them Grin.
I don't see them as a super team unlike the Roster they have in the past.
Indeed. Take a look on this year's
USA's roster
. Well, they are still considered high calibers in basketball but I admit that they are not as solid as before.
1597  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Thou shall not steal on: August 22, 2019, 11:08:16 AM
Both. Huge businessmen and corrupt officials steal for their personal gratifications which is driven by their own greed. On the other hand, poor people tend to steal in order to survive. Scarcity of basic necessities is the usual reason behind this, it pushes them into their limits to commit stealing even though they knew from the very beginning that it was not a good thing. They are like facing a "no choice" situation so I can't blame them.

If you will ask me if they're the same, I say YES. It doesn't matter whether you only stole a piece of apple or millions of money, stealing is stealing — it was a sin. However, I believe that sometimes in life the end justifies the means so I'll be more compassionate for the poor ones if proven guilty Smiley.
1598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 21, 2019, 11:38:49 PM
Thanks for reminding me. What I meant from 'just like MJ did' is that MJ did space jam also. Anyway, why do you hate LeBron? Because of his flops?  Grin
Aside from his poor attitude which is pretty obvious in the case of his upcoming movie and how he act every time he disagree to his coach during their conference games, what I hate him fhe most is the fact that he proclaiming himself as the real goat Roll Eyes. Unlike MJ or Kobe (who is a better player for me) which remains humble all the time.
1599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 21, 2019, 03:17:25 PM
Howard is a big man that doesn't know how to shoot 3s not even consistent in free true, we will see a hack a howard for sure if he will play next season.
Excuse me, I think what you mean is free throw instead of free true Wink. Anyway, Howard is old for this game already so I think choosing him to play with these generation's  talented youngsters might be a bad idea. Much better for him to retire now, besides he was still a Superman after all and that's already a great legacy to be left.
I know right, he has the power to overthrow a teammate, coach or even the director of the movie that he's doing now, I forgot the name but it has the looney toons just like MJ did.
What you are pertaining about is the Space Jam 2. Hmm I supposed to feel excitement for this upcoming movie because I love cartoons but honestly I wasn't. I don't know the excat reason, maybe because of that issue or maybe because Lebron (a Lebron hater here lol) is the lead star and not Jordan.
1600  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: August 21, 2019, 11:43:56 AM
Ang sabi nga nila the more risks the more can the rewards be...
For me hindi sya ganun kaganda pakinggan kasi hindi naman ibig sabihin na marami din ang makukuhang output if you gave high amount of inputs. I believe that you can get more for paying less, maging wise lang at madiskarte Smiley.

Imagine, what if they lose money? For sure magiging source sila ng FUDs and the worse thing could happen is they can be able to convince their families and others na ang bitcoin nga ay scam or any for of shitty stuff.

Kagaya nga ng sabi ng Mark Zuckerberg, "The biggest risk is not taking any risk".
