1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on Binance 🔹 on: July 31, 2018, 08:19:32 PM
hahaha the pricing is ridiculous! Cheesy
We fell from 50th to 84th... so I guess 34 awesome coins that are better than ARK were introduced? Roll Eyes Fat chance!

I know the team is focused on v2 and they're preparing for their marketing move, but still... this is oversold beyond any understanding. So many shitcoins are above ARK.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: July 31, 2018, 01:21:20 PM
Yes, miners are stupid.

66% of the miners are mining with the 30% slower miner. (alexis 1.0 legacy code)

live from one of the pools:

The total nethash of renesis today is around 50GHASH. This is around half the hashrate of the Bitcore network...
(The renesis gpu miner is only abit slower than the bitcore miner, so they can be compared.)

The miner's speed is one aspect of the equation, the other aspectsi are the initial cost and the gains.
With 2 cards and 3$/day profit, I'd generate 3.82$ based on your optimistic estimation after the 2% fee. Therefore I'd need 488 days only to brake even.

Someone with 10 cards, however, would have a ROI of 49 days with your miner. But since this is a coin with no value at the moment, there's no point in calculating or buying a private miner since we won't know where will the price land.
Since you're not expensive though, I'm sure you'll find some risky miners who will invest in this coin at this point.

Ouh I'd like to join the ARK team, but I feel they'd never accept me since I have no experience with marketing or sales, I'm a hardware technician and web developer.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 31, 2018, 08:01:33 AM
Only private miner from me. Public miners destroy the profit.
You don't want to share the profit with all the noobs do you?

Yeah I found your post about 0.05BTC + 2% fee from your post history.
Well... I wouldn't know if a private miner with a forward payment and 2% fee is better than a public miner with 2.5% fee or something.

I would think that either way you make the same profit, but if you only sell private miners then the big farms will profit more than casual miners. I believe this is bad for decentralization and for mass adoption of cryptocoins.

Anyway I'm mining with a 1080ti and a 1070ti, getting 27.75MH/s and 19.13MH/s with both cards at 80% TDP. I'd probably get a 20% increase with your miner but with just 2 cards I'll never ROI ^^
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 31, 2018, 07:39:48 AM
Soon there will be some nub that paid .05btc posting...

Noob's mine ethereum and z-cash with the free 1% plug and play miners and get 1$ per card per day. The smart miners buy my mod and ROI in 2-3 days with $5-10 per card per day.

Specifically for the Renesis algo, have you released a public miner with fee or you only sell a private miner? I sow the screenshot but I haven't found yet any public miner from you.

Μπερδέυτηκα... δεν έχουμε ήδη Bitcoin ETF από τον χειμώνα; Τι είναι αυτό που θυμάμαι πως λέγανε πως θα γίνει διαθέσιμο στα ανταλλακτήρια και εκτινάχθηκε το BTC εκείνη τη περίοδο σε υπερβολικά επίπεδα, με προφανές αποτέλεσμα να πέσει λίγες ημέρες μετά;
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: July 30, 2018, 12:46:46 PM
its not nicehash that is screwing the network, its fpga, seems like asics are better than these fpga exploiters, almost double hashrate lol nicehash on x16r dont have that hash, these fpga are screwing alot of gpu mined coins, im selling all my gpu and just going for asics from now on, this anti asic talk is shit, they push anti asic and they mine with fpga and toy with the network, look at what they did to electroneum and its now happening to raven and alot of other gpu coins

Excuse me but what makes ASICs good and FPGAs evil?

At least FPGAs can be reprogrammed and won't become useless once a devteam decide to change their algo or the manufacturer releases a new ASIC.

Also most (if not all) FPGAs are produced in US from Xilinx, not in China from Bitmain. That's a personal taste and by the way I'm not a US citizen but a European one.
More importantely, I'd never support Bitmain which has proved to do anything, no matter how shaddy, for their own profit. They're doing anything to pump their child, Bitcoin Cash (example: https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/04/24/bitmain-antpool-artificially-boosting-bitcoin-cash-bch-price/) and I can't trust nor support such a company.

This is why I'm supporting Raven which (I hope) can't be mined with ASICs. If RVN can be mined with a 1000$ GPU sloted in a PCI-E or if it can be mined with a 4000$ FPGA sloted in the same PCI-E, I don't mind, it doesn't really make any difference.

1590  Local / Ελληνικά (Greek) / Re: Λογαριασμός στην hitbtc on: July 30, 2018, 12:12:01 PM

Smiley

ΠΧ: BTC Deposit & Withdraw Fee: 0.0004, ETH Fee: 0.0027.

Dear Nexybit team,

After months of cooperation, I've decided to change my signature and support a different project.
Regardless of the campaign I support, I'll still keep using your platform and follow the news about Nexybit!

If your campaign is still running after the one I'm now partaking has finished, I'd love to come join you again!

Guys, something is wrong with your withdrawal fee of Ethereum.
  Network Fee :0.01000000 ETH
That's almost 5$ in fee?! For BTC the fee is 0.00010000 BTC which is equal to about 0.80$, but as far as I remember the transaction fee of BTC is usualy higher than ETH, not the other way around.

Can you look into that and tell me if it's an error or intended please?
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Nexybit Super Bounty Program! on: July 30, 2018, 10:33:01 AM
The "[Mission] Retweet Url" is pretty hard to do! I'm trying to do it from my phone but every time I try to copy and share the link, the app produces a link to the original tweet, not the retweet.
I see that some people have managed to do it but I don't get it how... I just started trying from a PC but so far I haven't managed it! Please add some isntructions to your 6th mission.

EDIT: I did it!!! You have to "retweet with a comment" and then add whatever extra text you want. That way, your retweet will get a unique status ID and then you can copy/paste it in the registration form provided above.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: July 30, 2018, 08:08:30 AM
Leaving aside the spam-shitpost above me (talking about taking part in RVN ICO when there was never any! Grin), this is trully the first time the team of Raven will be tested.
For now I've also stoped mining it since there's no point wasting electricity. I'm monitoring this thread though and I'm hoping for solution by the devs. Whenever they'll need support, I'll provide it!

And for crying out loud, STOP USING NICEHASH! The fees you're paying to them are higher than what you'd pay to choose the coin yourselves and manually trade it... or you can hold it and support an altcoin team.
But even if all you want to hold is BTC, then at least help to keep the network decentralized. Right now the most powerful and the richest are Nicehash and probably Bitmain.

So did the Greek translator submit their work? I obviously found out about your project a bit late to join but if the spot for the Greek translation is open, I'd like to do it.
I can also manage the translated thread.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: July 29, 2018, 05:20:22 PM
We're able to provide this because we've burned an encryption key onto every FPGA shipped. This encryption key is what enables the creation of our secure shell environment.

Is this encryption key the same as the one provided by Mineority? And does every BCU1525 comes with it installed? I've found a BCU1525 from a european shop (though I'm still checking if they are scamers) and I'm wondering if I'll be able to load the bitstreams from Allmine.

From Mineority's site I read: "Your BCU1525 from Mineority comes with special security key encoded right to it. This key provides you access to private bitstreams powered by the Allmine Crypto Shell and Squirrels Research Labs technology as well as public bitstreams provided by others in the community."

The only people receiving BCU-1525 are Allmine/Squirrels. Mineority is getting their boards from us. I don't know where these other shops are getting their boards. At least one of them (those EU sellers/resellers) placed orders with us but never paid for them.

I see... well, it's those guys: https://mineshop.eu/fpga-miners/xilinx-bcu-1525-fpga-detail/
But I'm not advising anyone to buy from them. They also seem to add quite an extra on the price. I wish they'd just let the cards un-ordered so that we could get them.

Hey, senseless, I'm gonna pay you the moment you allow me to order from you!!! Roll Eyes
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: July 29, 2018, 10:01:02 AM
lol ya especially after they switched back to ASIC mining to appease them and others.... guess it didn't work out so good.  Grin

Actually it seems to work out way better as the GPU debacle than back.

At least the coin is 51% attack secure. Actually one of the very view ones that can no longer be 51% attacked.
That alone is a huge success and only a handfull coins/projects including ETN is at least safe from nicehash 51% attacks.

I hadn't though about that but it's probably true, since most Cryptonight coins moved to the updated algo in order to get rid of the ASICs, therefore every ASIC that has been produced for the old algo is only usable on ETN and maybe a few other, less known coins. Thanks to that fact, we now have a pretty secure network.

By the way I was looking for an "accepting Electroneum" sticker for a friend's shop, and found the following which I liked... in case anyone wants it,

I think the most profitable use of 1080tis right now is Overwatch, or maybe Destiny 2. Having some fun now and then, during hot summer especially, sounds better than mining!

Maybe some people have started using them? Or maybe the manufactures have start using it before shipping them?

The RVN's diff skyrocketed, it's almost double in 4 days. I doubt ASICs would be able to mine the x16r algo.... Maybe....
