I was an avid user of Nicehash but I have quit now and don't intend to go back.

Absolutely thesame idea here.

Do research and test your setup for a few days.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 08:43:36 PM
the difference is mainly the hardware used. For example, simple TI from EVGA dont have the same cooling system as the FTW3 .
So you can O/C more depending the model you have. In my opinion, the ASUS cards are too expensive for what they offer

My Asus 1080 Ti Strix Gaming 11GB was 900 euros. If the bitcoin will keep todays value and diff (of the altcoins) will not increase the next months, I will reach ROI for my GPU in 112,5 days. That's pretty good I think.
Or still you don't believe me?
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 08:30:36 PM
Hello 1080ti users  Smiley

Is there big difference between "cheap" 1080ti (like Pallit FE, Asus Turbo) and "expensive" 1080ti (Asus strix, Asus ROG) for mining ?

The cheapest 1080ti that I can found in store is the Asus turbo.

What are you guys mining ?

Thanks

I mine whatever algorithm is paying more when exchanged to bitcoin. At this time there's only 2 algos that work for me. I choose pools where I can auto-exchange to bitcoins.

No idea about the different kind of 1080s. I think the difference might not be that huge. It also depends on what software you use. You will need to do some testing and tweaking.

On some pools you can see statistics from other users, like these:

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?chip=387
http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=skein
http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=nist5
http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=quark
http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=x17
http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=x11
etc etc

You will need to do some homework. PM me if you need more help.
1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 07:49:28 PM
Mine what's profitable then trade into what you imagine will rise. Just looking at what you can mine limits your optionsa nd means you're not making the best plays

I agree.

Bitcoin mining itself is too hard. That's why I mine other algos/coins and choose to be paid in BTC. I had and have confidence that BTC will rise in value. It's a choice you make.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 07:39:38 PM
dont need a proof, lol , a signel 1080ti = 7euros ?? come on lol ..

Here's your proof.

13 hours ago I got paid. Since the last payment my "Balance" went from 0 to 0.00134388 BTC.

That's 0.00134388 BTC in 13 hours, or, if you do the math:
0.0024810092307692 BTC in 24 hours. Some days are better than others. Yesterday it was 7+ EUR.

At the time of posting, 0.0024810092307692 BTC is worth 8,175 EUR according to Preev.
And yes, I only have 1x 1080 Ti. But I did my research: I'm using miners that are optimized for 1080 Ti's. Do your homework and you too can earn this kind of money.

Thus, I'm not lieing when I say I earn 7+ EUR a day with 1 GPU.

Edited: I try to help other users on this forum and I appreciate the help from others. Those who helped me with mining (2 peops so far) will not be forgotten when ROI is reached.
As for you, I won't ever do anything for you for free.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Wtf to mine? on: August 12, 2017, 07:24:46 PM
Try different pools/coins/algos.

Download Nemos, SniffDog, MultiPoolMiner.

Easy solutions like WinMiner and NiceHash are probably not the most profitable. There's no easy fix. You need to test, play with settings.. And eventually you will earn better than before.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 05:41:21 PM
Back to LBC. Sad SIGT price is dropping, but will keep near 1000 coins for future
Denarius gives near 1.5$/day per one 1080Ti, LBC ~ $3.5-3.9

Making around 7 - 8 euro a day with a single 1080 Ti.  Roll Eyes
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 11, 2017, 04:35:38 PM
Iv'e got alot of pm's from ppl who asks whats the most profitable sp-mod kernel.

Profit with the sp-mod private bins on the 1080ti(8-aug-2017)

The rates are taken from http://yiimp.ccminer.org/.  And inside the green circles you see the profit if you mine 1 ghash  24 hours.
The example is made with a 1080ti and the number from yiimp is based on the the last 24hours of mining.

Bitcore spmod : 35MASH
skunk spmod : 57MASH
Tribus spmod: 120MHASH

Bitcore 0.04866 BTC/GHASH (0.04866 * 0.035) 0.0017031 ($5.62/day)
Tribus 0.01184 BTC/GHASH (0.01184 * 0.120)  0.0014208 ($4.69/day)
Skunk 0.02093 BTC/GHASH   (0.02093 * 0.057) 0.0011930 ($3.94/day)

The nicehashminer (zcash/ethereum/lbry/lyra2v2 etc...) is doing alot worse.. below $3

I earn that too at HashRefinery with my 1080 Ti.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: August 11, 2017, 08:52:20 AM
For 1080ti the best coin to mine is SIGT hands down with the new free Miner by krnlx. You can mine at zpool and auto exchange it for btc. You get about 50+ mh/s with it. Or better still mine zpool and rent out your hash to MRR and make a tad bit more btc.

Last time I tried zpool with my 1080 Ti I was earning waaay less than at HashRefinery. How much USD per day at Zpool with 1 single Ti?
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 10, 2017, 02:59:09 PM
@Fromage you _should_make a topic... But make sure people know it is 1080 Ti optimized. Smiley
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 09, 2017, 08:11:09 PM
I just want to let everyone know that I downloaded some malware from this thread (Unfortunately I don't know which file that caused it and when I downloaded it). It infected scvhost, creating "blank" processes, I was able to identify and remove it luckly.

There's always a risk, wherever you download a file from.
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: August 09, 2017, 04:42:10 PM
Been waiting for days on the answer to my questions...
Where is user nicehash?
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 08, 2017, 12:00:36 AM
Is this just a copy of nemos miner? Can't find an announcement, just the github link?

I believe Nemos was a modification of MultipoolMiner. Nemos and SniffDogs are almost identically, so I guess they are both based on MultipoolMiner.

I found a download link in the signature of user Fromage. He told me it was like Nemos but modified especially for the 1080 Ti. Seems like he was right.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 07, 2017, 03:54:41 PM
Been mining with Nemos lately. You guys should check out SniffDog, it's optimised for 1080 Ti.

1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 100k euros for farm on: August 06, 2017, 07:56:47 PM
hello guys,

But we have the opportunity to buy video cards with 30% discounts. Thank you for your advice and opinion.

If its true , Then its probably better business to buy those cards and sell them Smiley
It’s impossible to buy anything but the most entry level Radeon graphics cards right now.  Global shortage and inflated pricing true for some nvida cards also. New rx vega series cards staring to sell soon , we will see how soon those cards going to disappear from the store shelves Smiley

if you invest 100k euro for those cards and selling them with 30% profit , you can make 30K euro within a ,month or less Smiley the demands for those cards are crazy , as everybody want to mine coins now Smiley

lol I'm surprised OP didn't do the math in his head. I would keep buying cards at 30% discounts and selling them. Profits can be used to buy coins directly and keep the circle going without ever spending your own money. A few rigs is one thing but a farm is a pain in the butt to maintain. Especially when you need to sell all your cards and upgrade to new ones.

If you have 100k to spend, you can prolly get even more % discount when buying GPUs from the manufacturer.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't mine with GPU on riser on: August 06, 2017, 07:53:44 PM
Had thesame thing today.. Installed my old GPU on a new riser (before my GPU was on the mobo).

- Update the bios and Google if settings are OK.
- See if your OS (Windows?) recognises the GPU. If not, do a CLEAN install of drivers.

This helped for me. Hash rate seems even better with GPU -or maybe that's just in my mind-. Smiley

1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 100k euros for farm on: August 06, 2017, 04:04:29 PM
I keep reading about folks wanting to invest hundreds of thousands.. And than eventually you will never hear/see anything about it.

And then I ask myself.. If you have that kind of money, why not invest it in real estate or something else other than crypto currencies?

These stories never make sense to me.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: August 06, 2017, 03:10:43 PM
So I use Nemos with the HashRefinery pool. I will install a second and third GPU next week. Is there something I need to modify/tweak or will Nemos just mine with all GPUs on thesame algo?
Thanks for the time folks. Appreciate it.

So you are looking for a wallet in the form of a Pokemon trading card? That's fun.

Yes that was the Original Plan. I thought it's a great way for non crypto-People.

Actually the Wedding already took Place. It was some kind of a Last Minute thing Roll Eyes

Thank you all for your help !
